Need to be redesigned at the tip.
The tip is too flimsy. It is not durable like some of the other pen tips out there. It cannot withstand an accidental fall. Very disappointing!!!

Good stylus
Love the feel of the s pen. I don't think they are worth $60 but for those complaining about not getting replacement nibs, you can get authentic nibs on Amazon a pack of 10 or more for $15. They work just as good as the original. You can even get the authentic replacement s pen for less than $20, and yes they are authentic. I'm using one right now as I wrte this. It's hard to believe people don't know this.

i lost my spen while on vacation and discovered how much i use the pen with my tablet. When the replacement pen arrived i found this pen had an upgrade with changeable tips.

1st NOTE S-Pen functionally speaking?
I seriously thought my spen was broken, until I realized that Samsung was instructing it's 9S tab owners to turn on a s-pen thar IS NOT THE VERSION INCLUDED IN THE BOX. I am still a bit unsure that this is not some sort of issues whey my particular new s9 tab. I know that Samsung hasn't been doing as well reading their customers as they used to be, maybe it's all of the time spent training AI they forget that us mortal humans still have certain expectations. One of those being that the costly items that are made and sold Auth the device, such as s-pens don't downgrade to less performance than previous versions of an item. I should have just stuck with n my gut on this one, and made the note 20 ultra and it's security update subdue and far SUPERIOR SPEN MYLAST SAMSUNG DEVICE. LAST TIME I CONSIDERED ENDING SUPPORT FOR SAMSUNG WAS NOTE 5, REDESIGNED SPEN MADE ME DECIDE TO STAY DESPITE THE END REMOVABLE BATTERY. SINCE MY DEVICE IS UNDER 14 DAYS AND I'M IN CALIFORNIA I MAY RETURN THIS DEVICE BASED SOLELY ON THE SPEN LACK OF FUNCTIONALITY AND POOR ABILITY TO EVEN WORK FOR BASIC TOUCH FUNCTIONS. THEN TO FINDB OR THEY PUT THIS PIECE OF WHAT I FEEL IS TRASH IN THE BOX, WHEN YOU GO TO DEVICE SETTINGS TO CHECK OUT THE "NEW FUNCTIONS" YOU ARE GREETED WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO TURN ON YOUR SPEN PRO, WHICH ISC WHEN YOU MIGHT JUST THINK YOUR SPEN NEEDS TO BE CHARGED? BUT HOLD ON NOT SO FAST, YOUR BRAND NEW S9 TAB VARIENT, DOESN'T COME WITH A SPEN PRO. SO THERE INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROMPTING YOU TO TURN ON SPEN VERSION NOT EVEN INCLUDED WITH THE DEVI E THEY ARE GIVING YOU INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE. NOW THAT I HAVE WRITTEN THIS REVIEW AND USED THE SPEN THAT CAME WITH THE DEVICE, I'M DEFINITELY RETURNING THIS DEVICE AND JUST GOING TO ROOT AND MANAGE MY NOTE 20 ULTRA AS LIKELY MYN LAST SAMSUNG DEVICE. ESPECIALLY GIVEN THAT THE PHONE FROM A FEW YEARS AGO J HAD A FAR SUPERIOR SPEN THAN WHAT THEY. ARE NOW GIVING WITH THE #S TAB LINE OF TABLET.

Not Compatible with Galaxy Tab S9+
No instructions came with the pen on how to connect or pair with my Galaxy Tab S9+, I spent about an hour trying to find an answer but the only instructions provided from Samsung online are for the S9. Upon research in to other options I found that the S Pen is not compatible with the Tab S9+ as described in this listing. I will be seeking a refund.

Perfect weight and size
It feels very good in the hand and is easy to manuever and control. It's super responsive and senses tilt and pressure very well. It also has air command which helps speed up my productivity by showing select tools on the side of the screen rather than having to make my way around the OS to find the tool. I'm not too well versed in e-pens as I've only ever used one a long time ago but this thing is an absolute game changer and helps me accurately make selections, highlight, and draw things more accurately while saving my screen from my greasy fingies. It has a long battery life and is easy to charge as the charging sttation is on the back of the tablet. Another cool feature is that my tablet will alert me if I left the pen behind.

Don't tech Samsung Tech or a Verizon Tech
Samsung Tech told me to order this pen, which would work with my Samsung Tab S9 +; the S Pen doesn't work with these tablets. After arguing with Verizon and Samsung never said it wouldn't work even though they knew the model number.

Great, but needs to be more chew-proof
I love it. But then again I'm biased. S-Pens are my favorite kind of stylus ?? the ONLY thing I hate about this S-Pen in particular is that it's not very chew-proof. I've had to buy 2 or 3 replacement styluses for my galaxy tab s10+ already (and I've only had this tablet since March!) because one of my dogs has decided she has an affinity for pencil- shaped things of mine

Love them and too easily they have left me
I miss my S Pen. I purchased my tablet in May 2025 and have lost my second pen just recently. I wish I was able to use find my device with S Pen as I can use it with my buds. Though the magnetic feature helps some it does not keep it secure enough to prevent loss. I got this tablet as another means to draw when I'm not home. I'm once again without a good tablet for artworks. I am hard pressed being a USA citizen and now unable to afford to buy a spen that I have lost more then I have lost my micron Pen (s).

Great replacement s-pen
I misplaced the original s-pen to my Galaxy Tab S10+. Originally I purchased a few replacements from Amazon, and while they were functional, they didn't quite make the mark. I have been a loyal Samsung customer for over 15 years. I would not want any other brand of device. This replacement s-pen was perfect. As a disabled veteran with limited hand mobility issues, use of the s-pen is imperative for me. Having one with functionality that works is a must, and this one does that. So, I purchased two. I would definitely recommend. We currently have over 20 Samsung products in our home including phones, tablets, televisions, refrigerator, etc.

Great Pen, but SELL REPLACEMENT NIBS
Got the pen with my new tab s9+. Within a few weeks of taking notes, the nib has worn down and gotten a little banged up, drastically lowering the feel of it on the tablet screen and slowing down my note-taking considerably. When I looked to order new nibs, Samsung doesn't have anywhere to buy new nibs, instead making you buy a whole new pen, which is not just more expensive but also more wasteful. I am a huge fan of Samsung and have spent thousands of dollars on Samsung devices in the past year, but it is really frustrating when something like this happens. If literally every other drawing tablet company out there can sell OEM replacement nibs, so can you.
