Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV at a great price! I purchased my TV directly from Samsung for a fantastic price. The TV itself is great, beautiful picture and no complaints. My viewing room is very bright with one full wall of windows and this TV has no issues with ambient light levels. I would buy again. The only reason I didn't give this TV 5 stars is the remote control. While the remote is very simply and allows for full control of the TV and menu functions, it's very small and unlit. I routinely push 2 buttons by accident. Slightly larger and lit would be great. One cool thing about the remote is the solar charging with Usb-C backup and no battery. This TV is fantastic for sports!

We’ve been amazed absolutely every time we turn it on. Especially enjoying the high quality drone nature and citywide footage that’s shot all over the world. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plug and Play The most convenient thing about these devices today is that they are so simplistic to hook up to your internet, sound bars etc. Basically, plugging cords in and you are on your way. The ease of installation with the brackets and the clear instructions is super important. I would recommend that Samsung continue to improve these by adding QR codes that lead to videos or manuals etc to provide those who absorb information via the spoken word, written words, pictures or video. The quality of the product itself is outstanding and having the manufactures warranty in the background makes it more comfortable to buy these products knowing that in the event of some unusual error you are not out any money for no fault of your own. Samsung needs to acknowledge that aftermarket items such as backlighting of tvs are a thing and therefore their designs need to accommodate that by adding some type of clip for these items on the backs of the TV's . This would be next level stuff for Samsung to integrate into their designs.

Whether it was a movie, a sports game, or just regular streaming, everything appeared sharp with rich colors and impressive contrast. Dark scenes had surprising depth, and bright highlights looked clean without washing out the rest of the image. Even during the daytime with plenty of sunlight in the room, the screen stayed vibrant and easy to see. Motion handling is another area that really impressed me. Fast-moving scenes stayed smooth, and there was very little blur, which made sports and action movies more enjoyable. Gaming on this TV is excellent as well. The responsiveness is quick, the graphics look crisp, and HDR games feel more immersive thanks to the strong brightness and color performance. Sound quality is better than what you usually get from most flat-screen TVs. Voices are clear, and the built-in speakers do a decent job for everyday watching. Of course, pairing it with a soundbar improves the experience, but you can comfortably use it without one if needed. The design is sleek and modern, with very thin bezels and a clean overall look that blends well in a living room. It feels solidly built, and the included remote—lightweight and solar-powered—is a nice touch that makes daily use a bit more convenient. Overall, this TV feels polished and thoughtfully designed. We are connected through Direct Tv, stream Prime Video, Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, AppleTV, etc. and have never been disappointed in picture, or quirkiness of operation. Most importantly, you can easily set colors and tune in your exact specifications, which most folks don't do, and then blame the TV brand on a poor picture. Take the time to consult with your big box store or many excellent tunings specs on-line if you search out your exact make/model.

They say a jack of all traded is a master of none, well this one mastered it all. You can watch TV, Movies, Music, Games and we haven't hooked anything up to it yet, this is all native in the TV UI.you hook up a gaming controller and go to the game menu and start playing. It auto changes to game mode giving you increased refresh rate and auto low latency as soon as you start up a game. And it's beautiful to watch it has Quantum HDR, HDR10+ WHICH IS AMAZING! It can run a smarthome, it can watch your heath, and OMG the sound is spectacular and Pair it with a Q-Symphony Soundbar and your neighbors will be coming over to see what's going on cause mine shakes their walls if I turn it up past 30 volume and their houses are 20ft away. It can stream with your PC and it has tons of streaming apps available, most with free movies and TV. The controller is great cause no batteries to change cause flip it over and it's solar charging. And if you don't want to use the controller (you know when it's lost in the cushions lol) just use one of the 3 (alexa, Bixby, or Google) and you don't need one.you can do it all with this TV. Well I see your already gone heading to buy this TV so I guess I'll stop here. Enjoy!

The only thing I wished I could have purchased the tv from Samsung direct to get the 200 Dollars they were offering at that time when I was replacing my old Sharp 80" Quatron with this new 85" Neo QN 90 Samsung. This has been a very good tv so far, and hope it continues to empress me whether I am watching a 4K High def movie or playing a 4K intense racing game on my Xbox series X.

I wanted a bright, high quality 4K QLED and had shopped for over a year, before pulling the trigger. I have been impressed with almost every aspect of this TV. It is brighter than I thought possible in my well-lit room, picture quality is outstanding with fast motion and no visible artifacts. What I love the most is the Q-symphony connection that provides a truly immersive 3-D sound experience. Watching my favorite shows is now even better with a theatre like experience every day. My only suggestions would be an extra HDMI port, 4 doesn't seem like enough for today's connections.

Colors on the TV seem really good to me for the level and cost of the TV so we are very pleased with the TV. We especially like we are down to one remote now and it works fine without having to be pointed at a specific point on TV or it won’t work.

The brightness of the colors and picture clarity are the best we have ever seen. For the video games, the refresh rate is super quick. We paired the tv with the Samsung Q990 sound system with Q-Symphony. The sound makes it feel like you are sitting right in the middle of a concert.

Have been on the phone with multiple Samsung technicians for hours and they keep saying it’s the cable box even though it works fine on multiple TVs. Had cable company come out and there’s nothing they can do.

I purchased the Samsung 85 inch QN90D, and the HW-990D soundbar and paid additional for Samsung to deliver and set it up. Wow, I was excited when I heard the sound from the soundbar and watched the screen. By the weekend I invited my family and friends over just so I could show off the system, it was amazing, and I mean movie theater quality sound and tv picture. However, the Q-symphony stopped working after four months. I called Samsung customer service, and we spent over 2 1/2 hours on the phone and through video, but to no avail, no success. Listen, the representatives did not resolve the problem. I am frustrated, because I admired Samsung products, I believed they were the best out there, and I guess that is why I currently have four huge wall mounted Samsung televisions, and four Samsung phones. I loved their products, but after this experience, I need to re-evaluate my next selections and brand. After spending so much time on the phone with the various representatives (Ivey, Omar, Katherine) and a supervisor (Annie) troubleshooting, all they did in the end was inform me they escalated the problem internally to Samsung. I was told they must wait to hear back from the Samsung developers to see why this problem is happening, which leaves me frustrated, sick and a with a system that does not function properly. They said the turn-around time for them to have a reply from the developers is undetermined, this is ridiculous. Mind you, they checked for a software update for the soundbar and the television; which they are both using the latest software updates. So for them not to replace my brand new system which was purchased through Samsung, and to have me wait for them to hear back from the developers leaves me mind boggled. Honestly, I am changing my tune towards Samsung, at this time I cannot say this product is great or fantastic anymore, because for it to stop working properly after four months is insane. I spent over four thousand dollars on both (soundbar and TV), so do I wish I went with another brand/company, absolutely. I am not happy or satisfied, and I look forward to hearing from Samsung to rectify this problem. Brown

So much pixilation happens with flashing lights and explosions. The refresher rate is awful. It was suggested to buy premium cables but they do nothing as well. Save your money and spend it on a Sony.

Picture stopped the other day and found out that even with Best Buy total tech subscription that it would fall under Samsung’s warranty. That would have been fine except that they couldn’t get to me for over a week. Also, the technician won’t unmount the tv. I either have to unmount myself or pay to have it done. It’s almost a sure bet that this will be my last Samsung purchase.

I have it paired with my Samsung dolby atoms soundbar and it way better then the movies. Crazy!! My gaming is insane. It has 120 hz refresh rate. Im smoking people in call of duty. Now I find out its a hub for my smartthings. It controls my smart home. Im obsessed. I couldn't ask for more!

The reflection handling is great with good shadow detail. Its clarity and detail are top notch. The quantum dot colors are rich and natural, the TV’s motion handling with minimal blur is very good. It also has multiple ways to stream games via Game Hub. This great TV model is thin and stylish design and it comes with a sturdy pedestal stand. After one year, it performs like new… Awesome!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not intuitive in the slightest.... Compared to our 2000 1664 inch Samsung Our 20 2485 inch Samsung is just OK. Everyone in my household feels that the quality has decreased fairly significantly. The navigating in the TV is now complex and convoluted compared to easy and straightforward in the 2016 model. Before this TV I would've highly recommended Samsung over any other brand. Now I think the picture quality is comparable with everybody else in the navigating system is worse. I would recommend shopping around for other TVs before settling on a Samsung.

Other brands always looked clear and vibrant in the stores but when I got them home they were a disappointment. Samsung always looked like it was vivid and clear as displayed. This TV has the best side viewing angle I have ever purchased, when sitting on the side of the TV you can still see everything very clear. Also the glare resistance this TV has is immaculate. I have over 20 windows in my living room, dining room and kitchen area with tons of natural sunlight on this TV and it does not affect the visual quality at all. Very impressed with the TV and will be sticking to only Samsung TVs in the future. Thanks

Once I turned it on and used it for a couple of days, I realized I had been missing an opportunity to view such an outstanding picture. All the settings were perfect, so I did not have to make any adjustments. Prior to getting the TV, I purchased a Samsung soundbar with Q symphony. Setting up the soundbar to the TV was easy. The sound is fantastic, using both the soundbar and TV speakers at the same time. Watching sports programs makes it look like I am on the ice at hockey games, on the court playing basketball, standing on the putting greens next to the pro golfers, etc. I am very pleased with my new Samsung TV and Samsung soundbar.

The picture quality is breathtaking—bright, sharp, and full of detail whether I’m watching movies, live sports, or gaming. The colors are vibrant without looking artificial, and the blacks are deep and true, giving it an almost OLED feel but with higher brightness. Gaming on this TV is a whole new level of immersive. The low input lag and smooth motion make fast-paced games feel seamless, and the 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything buttery smooth. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely STUNNING picture quality I've had Sony and Samsung TVs exclusively over the last 25 years. It falls down to the software and UX and Samsung has my heart. The brightness is unreal...absolutely needs some adjustment to mute the color a bit and tone the sun-like brightness down. Overall it's pretty straight forward and a few hours and different content and I'm amazed at the leap from my Plasma back in the day. Software makes connecting devices for casting or steaming stress-free. The biggest issue I have...THE REMOTE ...I had a 55" curved 4k Samsung from 2016 and the remote is LIGHTYEARS ahead. Even my Plasma had a touch pad to allow cursor control. BRING BACK THE CURVED REMOTE!!! The touch controlled mouse was something my Plasma had in 2012...common Samsung ??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture Quality is great Got the 85” and it was a lot bigger than expected which was great. I upgraded from my 55” Samsung, so it was a big difference. Streamed my streams right away to see the picture quality and it was amazing. I even plugged in with my previous Samsung soundbar and it was pumping out sound just as it did before with no problems. The only thing I will say is you do want a little bit darker of a room to avoid glare completely. It isn’t annoying, but just noticeable. I also found it a little harder to navigate to different input devices. Overall though, very happy and can’t wait to have family and friends over to share the experience!

With her blessings, we purchased an 85” Samsung TV for our basement. We share TV in the evenings and so enjoy watching programs and people come alive right in front of us on the screen. She loves Hallmark and HGTV, while I watch sports and other shows which gets us into some TV struggles. It’s mine when she takes a nap! We moved a non-smart TV upstairs to our living room, but the Firestick dint do a great job supporting UTUBE TV. Had to buy another Samsung 65” for my viewing and enjoy it almost as much as the big one downstairs. We really could not be happier with both TVs which are clear for Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and Paramount+ as well. Our FLA home has a 65” Samsung as well, and I’ll be making a new purchase there soon! You can’t go wrong with a Samsung TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like the TV, but... I am really pleased with the picture and sound quality of my QN90D Samsung Neo QLED 4K TV. It is definitely a two person job to hang the tv on a wall mount. The set-up was fairly simple and did not take too long. That said, the remote for this tv is simple horrible. The volume button and directional button are not user friendly. The volume button is very small and somewhat recessed. The directional button requires you to be very specific where you place your finger to use the remote. If you are using a streaming service and you want to forward/reverse the program, good luck. Luckily, I have an old Samsung remote that has raised buttons that I can use on this tv and the old Samsung remote resolves the aforementioned user issues. Again, really happy with the picture quality and sound.

After reading a lot of reviews on the Qled, I thought I was getting a good TV, but boy was I wrong. I love Samsung TVs, but I think this is a real disappoint for as much money I spent on it.

The picture is astonishingly bright—daytime soccer matches keep their punch even with the blinds open—yet night-time black levels stay convincing. HDR movies look gorgeously three-dimensional, and motion handling is silk-smooth; for my gaming kids, the 144 Hz panel makes fast-paced games feel responsive while keeping blur to a minimum. Tizen’s interface still buries a few settings deeper than I’d like, and there’s faint blooming around subtitles on very dark scenes, but those quirks are easy to forgive when everything else—brightness, colour accuracy, viewing-angle improvements, and overall immersion—feels like a generational leap. In short: if you’re debating an upgrade, this set makes the decision simple.

Let me just say that in the few short weeks of having this TV, it is exceeding expectations. The colors, the HDR, the brightness.....WOW! I have it paired with a Q990F sound bar and the Q Symphony works great. Little to no set up for the TV other than adding and configuring streaming Apps. I use it for streaming shows/movies and PS5 gaming. I also have the Hue sync app and light strips that run seemlessly with the Samsung TV. So far Samsung has blown me away for how good the TV and whole ecosystem works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great new TV Our old Samsung TV died after years of use. It was only a 65". We chose to upgrade to the 85" and it is GREAT to see. The picture is clear and crisp, and the sound is just right for us. It has been easy to set up, very similar to the last set. The remote is solar powered, so we have to remember to move it to a room with a window periodically because our TV room has no windows but that is way better then buying new batteries all the time. A new feature that our old set didn't have is the recent watched on the home screen. That makes it so easy to pick up where we left off when we watched prior, rather then signing into whichever app we were using at the last watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is pretty user-friendly! I sometimes am on "overload" with the quantity of features and perks that come with this TV. I like the "Recent features", as I can just click there if I want to go back to what I was watching earlier. The only negative, and this has nothing to do with the tv itself, but all the channels want to peg you into the same hole. I was recently annoyed because I found that after a certain amount of time, the tv would shut itself off, and I would have to turn it on again. I found the "Timer" setting and changed it to when I wanted the tv to turn off, but you should really have that info available when the Geek Squad sets up the devices for clients. Another quirk is the sleep timer. I cannot seem to set it the time I want. I go into Settings, click over to where I want it, but it always defaults to "180 minutes". That's ok because it's at night, but still, I would like to control that feature.

This is actually a very good TV, but I have to be honest, and unfortunately, artificial intelligence doesn't interpret the image from each of the streaming services well.What I mean is that if, for example, I'm watching content on Netflix and the image doesn't look good, I go to settings and make the necessary adjustments so that it looks good. But once I switched to another streaming service, then the image looks different I have to go to settings and tweak again until I get a good image And it shouldn't be like this, this is where Samsung should work its magic, the less the user has to intervene in the settings the better. Many people want a good image in everything they watch but don't know how to adjust the settings. And we can say that the problem is the source, that is, the streaming service, which can't agree on having a standard, but it will never happen. I repeat, this is where Samsung needs to work its magic.

Full Motion Slim Wall Mount (VESA: 600x400) this mount is not compatible with this tv. incase you buy this tv don't buy the mount samsung is scamming people by selling their defective mount. your mount will get delivered early and tv will get delayed and then samsung delivery guy will tell you that this mount is not compatible and afterwards you'll end up throwing this $200 mount as it'll be out of return window! Save your money samsung's customer team will not help you. It took them 3 months just to deny my return request. Save your money please.

I'm sure an OLED is still better with the greys and deep blacks however this is still an outstanding TV (especially for the price difference) and undoubtedly is better with glare/reflection than an OLED. Make sure you are using 4K HDMI cables. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase but again, there is some pixelation with the darker greys and blacks at times. I was re-watching some of the newer Star Wars movies and was blown away by the clarity and refresh rate. FYI an OLED was out of the question because our living room has a lot of windows and the TV faces double sliding glass doors and the lake beyond. Way too much glare for an OLED. We purchased the 85" version of this TV and is the perfect size since our seating is about 17 feet away.

Overall satisfied with the TV (which is why I’m willing to give the review even a single star), but purchased installation services as well which has resulted in one of the biggest headaches and easily the worst customer service experience of my life. RXO (the company that was supposed to do the mounting/installation services) delivered the TV and said that was all they were supposed to do. My wife who was home at the time told them we paid for mounting services which they ignored. I’ve since made approximately a dozen phone calls and sent multiple emails between Samsung and RXO. Initially it was to get the service I purchased performed, but I ultimately gave in and did the installation myself because of the lack of response from RXO. I’ve since been trying to get my refund for the mounting services and the enormous amount of time and frustration I’ve spent on the phone with a half dozen different service representatives from either Samsung or RXO and have yet to achieve a resolution.

I was happy I got a good price on this QN90D 85 inch. Based on this and the other features I wanted, I decided to go with this TV. I had been looking at all of the other top brands that also had good pictures. There are a couple of things that could be improved like the operating system and the remote. It’s takes a little time to learn how to navigate and get to the settings. I am not impressed with the remote, it feels cheap for such a quality TV like the QN90D 85 inch. The other top brands have nicer remotes. This TV has a great picture, this is even more so when you fine tune the settings or perform expert settings. You just have to play with the settings until you get the picture you are happy with. But so far, so good up to this point. I will update in a couple of months.

We had a Samsung 63in and not only is it bigger but the picture is so clear. Case in point, the cityscape scene are so clean and crisp. Action scenes are great. Sports are good but any issues usually come from networks using 720p (via YTtv on a fire stick).

I then ordered this TV online for about 2/3 the price of the electronics store. It was delivered by a freight company, unpacked and setup in about 15 minutes. Setting up the apps on the TV was seamless and I had the TV working as expected in less than half an hour. The small remote was easy to understand and it even operates my blue-ray player and cable box.

The reflective screen works better than advertised. The Neo QLED picture is in my opinion better then the OLED, with no fear of burn in. When I saw the 85" Neo QLED offer in my inbox, I knew I didn't need it- but I just had to have it. The monitor fits my tv stand perfectly. Not only is the picture gorgeous and the sound crisp, the size of screen is huge. I couldn't wait to show it off to friends. I'm planning on many nights of gaming, streaming and sports viewing enjoyment. As a loyal Samsung customer, I look forward to adding some sort of home theater hook up in the near future. Thank you Samsung for delivering an awesome entertainment experience.

Samsung did tell me when I ordered it back in Dec 2024 that it would not be delivered until 02/28/2025. I understand when you have a great product at a really good price that a backorder is a possibility. However, you would think the people that came up with the discounted price for this TV would have enough insight to order more than usual to account for the amount of orders. Then to make matters worse they were having a sale on their TV's before Super Bowl. I wonder if they guaranteed that the TV's would arrive before Super Bowl. One last point, I did call Samsung and asked them if I would have to wait until 2/28 for my TV. They said there was a good chance that their orders for this TV might arrive in Jan of 2025 and that my order could be filled sooner. Well it is now 02/05/25, do you think I will get the TV sooner. I doubt it.

I had a problem when the volume control went haywire. I could not control the volume. I called Samsung and a gentlman walked me thru resetting the TV. Basically un plugged TV waited for a minute and it was fixed. Happened a second time, I just did the formentioned procedure and it was fixed.

The only problem is that apps sometimes work and sometimes do not and there's no way to shutdown the app and restart it when it fails to work. It requires a full TV reboot to fix. FIX. YOUR. APPS! (in particular PRIME! never seems to work consistently).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a perfect TV in the budget. I got this TV and installed in my living room and I use it for my day to day entertainment. Primary usage is to watch movies and Series in streaming apps. The OS is fast and the best thing I like with this is how samsung worked on to keep the devices in sync within smart things app. Since I have a Samsung phone, setting up the TV was very smooth. It just took all the personalizations from the app added TV to the ecosystem. The only hard part for me is to get the right colors for right content. It is a bit tricky to achieve this. The advanced personalization provided by samsung did good job in creating a color profile but when I watch videos in that color profile, the slow mothing videos are jittery. I may need to work more on this to understand the color profiles. Overall, I liked this TV so far for my daily usage primarily for entertainment.

The clarity, sharpness, color definition, and viewing angles, make this one of the best TVs ever. With or without my glasses, from over 15ft away. I am able to view menus, and selections quite clearly from a distance. Everything looks natural, especially people's faces. The graphics are so real looking, it almost looks 3D. Even without a sound bar, the sound is natural and easily follows movement. I had a 65" QN90, still do, actually. I replaced it with this 85" unit fir distance viewing. The venues are easy to use, and Samsung Plus is great. I gave up cable because it provides all the entertainment I need. From YouTube, Netflix, FreeVee, Hulu, the internet and device integration, there is little this unit cannot do well. Samsung TVs are built to last. Despite the price, I am so happy I bought this. It upscales shows not in HD into HD quality. The remote is easy to operate. I have multiple Samsung models in my home. All of them still perform well. Even the one I bought 20 years ago is still going strong. That is a testament to Samsung's commitment to quality and providing an exciting experience. It feels like you are driving a high end Sportscar and it will get your motor running. The QN90D does it all.

I am currently able to load all of my subscription apps on the TV itself and use all inputs from the home screen. Setup was fast and easy and the most optimized (not power friendly) settings are default, to give you the best quality out of the box. This is still not the newest technology available but I can already see the progress made in anti-glare and brightness. Glad that Samsung is still a leader in TV technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad TV The TV (QN85QN90DAFXZA) lasted less than two weeks after it was set up. It developed a six inch wide black vertical line on the right hand side of the screen. I contacted Samsung and after much back and forth text messages they agreeded to refund my money. The problem started on February 28th, it is now march 24th and they are going to pick up the old TV on the 27th. They will then issue a refund. We shall see!!!!

The TV also will calibrate the colors, and white balance etc. with the help of the Samsung SmartThings app, so instead of paying a professional to come out to do it, the TV has made sure you have the best movie experience it can give you at no charge. Was expecting delivery on 21 November. The delivery company called this morning to let me know that there would be no delivery today because Samsung had not provided the product. Went online to the chat bot and they said will be a couple of more weeks because of production delays. How about reaching out Samsung and letting the customer know it may be a three week or more wait for the product? ** UPDATE** Received a call from Customer Service. Notified me that due to production problems delivery may be delayed until 1 January. They offered an additional $150 an already super price if I didn't cancel my order. I accepted their offer. I see now they are upfront with new purchasers that it will not be available until 16 January. I give credit to Samsung for letting these negative reviews to be posted. Will update again once TV is delivered.

Customer service first response was "we don't know" and when I pushed hard they indicated January. The best part is, they charged me for the TV. Nice little loan for them.

Every single one of the things we watch is beautiful and stunning. It makes going to a movie theater irrelevant and really makes you thing about if going to a sporting event is worth the hassle! It’s Cristal clear and colors are stunning. The 90D is the best 4K TV out there. No one can compare to the vivid picture of a Samsung tv. The ai upscaling even makes older movies and none 4K content so crisp. It really is worth every bit of its price tag if you want a true to life color reproduction with fluid motion.

Upon reading reviews and consulting online sales rep they recommend this Neo qn90D over the QLed Q80D. I am very disappointed about its anti glare capabilities. I have to close all my blinds to be able to watch properly during the day because of all the reflections from the background. I have a older version of the QLED q80 on my loft and that one does a really great job rejecting reflections at a cheaper price. If only returns are easy I will return this product and go with the QLED Q80 instead.

November 27, 2024: I reported the TV’s image issues (excessive blooming, flickering) via Samsung Support, providing images and videos of the problem. 3. November 29 or 30, 2024: I called Samsung and requested a replacement. The agent confirmed that it would be “taken care of,” yet no follow-up occurred. 4. December 6, 2024: My return window closed. 5. December 11, 2024: I contacted Samsung again as the same issue persisted. Troubleshooting was repeated, but the fix was only temporary. 6. December 14-17, 2024: I was transferred between agents (Chelimilla and Ice) via email, where I repeatedly sent screenshots and described the problem again. I was promised escalation for a “return extension,” yet no progress has been made. Going through the menus can make you a bit frustrated but if you are using smart things app it gets better. Took me a while to figure out picture settings that Iiked but I once I git it setup, I am very happy. Q symphony is superb because I paired it with Samsung soundbar. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a large screen TV

Waited patiently and the terrible logistics company RXO cancelled the delivery. I was told to reschedule. When I tried to schedule RXO said earliest date was December 31st! This was unacceptable, as the difference would be 2 months. After talking Samsung and RXO more than 20 times! RXO called me and said "Good news, your TV has been scheduled for delivery for the 27th!". I was happy, again waited patiently. Ok guess what? On 27th, Samsung refunded me the TV without my consent!!! I talked with Samsung customer support and said that I don't want to lose the deal on TV I was promised. So, I repurchased the TV with the same deal applied. Now the delivery date shows January 11th!!! Btw, the soundbar is sitting idle in the living room without a TV! Is this how you do business Samsung? Deliver a TV after 3 months? How is this acceptable? I even started to doubt that. Maybe you will cancel the delivery date again, and I will receive the TV after 6 months?

I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get responses from samsung care, who obviously do not care and do not back their products. My tv is less than 1 month old and within 10 days of it being hung the back started pulling away from the frame which to me is a manufacturing defect. Samsung told me they will not help me and that I am on my own to find someone to repair it and pay for the fix myself. I will never buy samsung ever again! For the price paid for this and a company to not back their products is ridiculous!

I purchased this 85" Neo QN90D because my living room area has a lot of windows including vaulted ceiling glass and is very bright, especially on sunny days. Viewing my older Samsung 55" was very difficult in such bright conditions (including when blinds are drawn). I am very pleased with this TV as viewing is no longer an issue in these bright conditions, I so much enjoy the optimum brightening, minimum glare, clarity, vivid colors and the internal sound system.

Intelligent picture feature is good, when paired with samsung q symphony soundbar (i purchased that at the same time as TV)- they both really work very well together. sometimes I had observed that TV does not turn on using the remote (as if it is stuck in standby), and I have to do a power recycle (power on/off).

Not to mention going to an 85" with a good soundbar gives you that movie theater experience. The only thing I can say somewhat negative is. This TV claims to be anti-glare, but it really isn't I get a pretty bad glare from the windows on the other side of the room. So I still have to close the curtains on a sunny day.

We have enjoyed every minute of this new TV even though not as black as the QN90S, but since we are more streaming, watching movies and game a bit, it's the great addition/replacement to our home. We have been using the Samsung TVs over years and this option has been a very good ratio compared to others. It's more intuitive, and easy to configure and use specifically with our sound bar option 990D.

I have another 85” that’s around 4 years old and it’s starting to do same thing so I’m sure it’s going out. That’s not a good track record for Samsung so I’ll have to go with another brand when I replace the one that’s going out.

QLED 85” TV is mounted on a slim mount that could carry nearly ~200lbs on to two 16” wooden studs (4*3” screws) 2. It’s configured to turn on 10 external devices On/Off through Samsung Remote Power On-Off button. It does it flawlessly — it was extremely painful previously. I am surprisingly amazed that new generation TV is able to connect and control decade old devices flawlessly 3. Colors: Out of the gate, without calibration TV performs great from natural to vivid colors. That said I’ve carried out two different calibrations through Apple and Samsung for “my preference” 4. Whites: Brilliant white. For now, Apple calibration provides natural white sandy beach that I like 5. Blacks: This QLED TV outperforms by some noticeable margin compared to previous generation Samsung TV with micro-dimming 6. Ghosting: A very little ghosting is there especially in black, but one will have to look for. 7. Upscaling: Blu-ray 1080p to 4K is phenomenal. Streaming depends upon original content but I’m still in tweaking phase to my likes. That said, I’m 90% there 8. Gamma 4:2:2 & 4:2:0 works flawlessly. 9. AUDIO Built-In is nice, while I’ve 11.1.4 external speakers 10. AI is enabled for picture and is not a gimmick 11. SmartThings Hub: Connected ~40 Zigbee devices — Works great. Also nested to Bespoke Refrigerator 12. Source Dynamic Picture — This leads to black screen for a second. This is one very annoying thing, thus I’d to turn it off

I am a third generation Samsung tv owner and have never been disappointed. The sound is also an upgrade to my previous QLED model. The remote seems very basis but my streaming device controls most of what I do. The SmartThings app also seems to work better in this tv. It is always connected. I don’t do any gaming, but fast action scenes do well as far as retaining picture integrity. Overall, I am totally satisfied with this purchase.

It was rated right up along side OLED in picture reproduction and black levels. I went to store and took a look and was not disappointed. This gives you all the black level reproduction of an OLED but without the sacrifice of having to view in a dark room. Likewise I absolutely love the Q-Symphony integration for sound output. All in all a great TV and highly recommend!

Contacted Samsung for warranty and they passed me off to a service partner who has canceled on me three times. They diagnosed over the phone and said the entire panel and main board needs to be replaced. Samsung response was it does not qualify for replacement and their warranty program is “repair only”. Continue to get the run around when they should just ship a replacement. Consider other options..

Blu-ray to 4K up-conversion is stunning. Streaming up-conversion of SDR content to 4K is really good. Can tweak the picture to one’s like. Audio is okay-ish, while mainly use external device to for sound thus it’s a non-issue. SmartThings Hub works flawlessly that gets nested with other Samsung products. That said, I have calibrated both with Samsung AI and AppleTV 4K. Still in early stage, but I think almost there taking full advantage of all the bells-and-whistles this TV has to offer.

If you’re playing on a console and wired controller the game mode window will not pop up to toggle settings at all. The controller has to be connected to the tv . And even then the GUI pop up barely has functions to choose from.

I have a large living room so I went with the 85" and love it in this space. The Ultra Viewing Angle is one of my favorite features. While cooking in the kitchen on the side, I can still see the whole picture. And I considered a sound bar and chose not to get one. And DON'T need one! The 60watt 4 speaker system fills my living room with sound. If you are looking for a quality tv...this is it.

When I unboxed the TV, there was a noticeable curve in the screen as you can see in the pictures. I contacted Samsung, and the first two representatives agreed the TV should not be curved and would be replaced. However, the third representative I was escalated to over the course of an hour stated that I was beyond the 5 day window after delivery to return a defective device. I was only 7 days beyond the delivery date because I had not yet had the time to unbox and install this massive TV. I hope they would understand that installation is not a quick and easy task. And I shared pictures showing the TV was still in its original packaging. I can understand a time window so folks cannot return a product they damage after using it, but this TV had just been opened and never used. I can’t believe Samsung is not willing to understand that this was a manufacturing defect and offer a replacement.

Purchased this model to replace a similar Samsung model purchased less than two years ago that is failing to due a yellow blob that formed on the screen that is not covered by warranty. Unfortunately the new model was dead upon arrival and the only option made available by Samsung was to have the new model returned for a full refund. Despite numerous conversations with Samsung my refund is being held hostage for reasons outside of my control. The tv was delivered and removed the same day by the Samsung delivery team yet over two weeks later they now claim the tv was not received by Samsung. Be prepared to spend countless hours of your time dealing with customer service. Never again Samsung!

It was so easy to setup using Samsung Smart things app. It transfered all the relevant settings from our old TV to the new one. Up and running in no time. The picture is clear and vivid. We have an external 5.1 surround sound system that just pulls from the ARC HDMI out. Again, so easy getting the whole system up and running. Extremity happy with our purchase and would recommend to anyone that has the space to enjoy it.

This tv has all the smart features I was looking for and the NEO QLED picture quality is amazing. Whenever I have family over they always compliment my tv as if it was the first time they've seen it. Every time the are mesmerized! I paired my tv with a Samsung Q symphony sound bar and when watching movies the sound and picture quality strongly compares to a theater feel but at the comfort of my home. I would strongly recommend this tv to anyone and in fact I've recommended it to several people I know whom have gone on to purchase one of their own.

Surfing the internet looking for answers is not the best way. The single pedestal stand leaves the TV extremely wobbly. Purchased a much better dual post stand from Amazon. TV is now nice and solid. Best 35 bucks you can spend. With time and effort you'll have a very nice setup. At half price on sale it's a good deal. Good user manual is needed and a must.

We have a great room that has a great deal of daytime light, and this TV has The Best compensation for the brightness of the 3 TVs we have had in the room. If anything lets us down, it is the occasional issues from the streaming services, Never the TV. Internet browsing with the remote is quite the task, but we are getting better with time and practice. Mirroring from a phone or tablet works well with YouTube.Sound from the TV is good, but we use a soundboard with a subwoofer, which really matches the impressive picture. Very impressive television, highly recommended!

My main issue with the TV is that it gets glitchy with content from YouTube, not sure why the refresh rate is having trouble with some of the video transitions. Reach out to samsung and they did not provide a solution. They just had me play some testing videos. Issue is mainly with youtube but recently started with other networks as well. Great TV, quality is great and sound is great as well but it has issues with the refresh rate. A little disappointed since this was a replacement for our last samsung qled from about 5 years ago.

The tv set up was easy, walks you though everything. I have a sound bar, so I cannot speak to the quality of the sound on the TV. The TV is AI and has a built in speaker to wake up the tv and ask questions to, however it often has a hard time hearing or understanding even with a quiet room. There is also a mic on the remove and it works really well. When watching older shows the tv does improve the quality of the picture which is great. overall I would recommend this TV and I am happy with my purchase.

Had no issues on the previous Samsung model. But for some reason this one is very finicky with the e-arc. About 25% of the time it wont send the sound out to my receiver. Have to manually toggle the e-arc on and off for it to pick up.

Making our own drinks, popcorn, snacks and stopping the action to let the dogs out, run to the restroom, or whatever we need to do, whenever we need to. The picture is AMAZING! This was a great purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works flawlessly, using 4k streaming is beautiful The 85 inch is not too big, it looks and with q-series sound bar is very realistic. I'm very impressed. This is my 5th Samsung tv, and the second 85".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not installed yet. Arrived damaged TV was damaged and due to being a discontinued model had to wait 4 weeks to get replacement. Best Buy was great for the installation. No contact from Samsung acknowledging issue.
