I used to insist on going to the movie theater to see certain movie genres. We bought the Samsung 85 inch TV and put it in our family room. Now everyone comes over to watch action movies and football on the Big Screen.

This product has great features and while bixby is stupidly annoying, all other features outshine the price and performance of comparable LG and SONY offerings. Warranty is practically useless and this TV will stubbornly continue to work until cows come home.

I love not only its size but everything that comes with it. The sound quality is great, the picture is super smooth, less bright when I need it, and adjusts by itself when my room becomes darker. I can pair all my devices in an easy-to-use smart interface with a great selection of apps. I have a pleasant experience when I'm gaming. Overall, I am super happy and satisfied with my purchase.

This is a excellent TV, too many functions to list in one small post. I will say we have several large windows in my living room, however the screen still provides rich colors and deep blacks despite the lighting. I never have an issues if I'm gaming or watch a dark movie. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this TV

I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1) The Tizen OS is not smooth. It lags sometimes. 2) While I don't care for it, but upscaling isn't the best. Overall it's a great TV. I bought two of them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice picture but lacking in the software. When I first got the TV I loved it and I still do love the picture quality. However after some time the TV has failed to connect via the EArc port. This caused me to have to reset multiple times and try to reconfigure settings over and over again. (Literally spent over 10 hours trying to fix the issue!) The main problem is that the remote that came with the TV does not control the sound bar volume because the EArc port is not sybcing with it. (BTW When I first had this TV the remote worked the sound bar fine.) The other problem is that I have to go in the sound settings and manually change the Auto EArc to off and then back on every single time I power on the TV.(see photo) I wish I could give this TV more stars but Samsung is lacking on the software updates to fix this commonly known issue for multiple different TV's. According to some forums I have been on There are hundreds, if not more of other people out there with the same issues.

Two months out of year warranty and I have black bars across the screen and they want to charge me 140 to come look at it and say yes black bars, nothing we can fix. We are an integrator who does AV installations throughout Ohio and Michigan, and bought these for our own internal use. Very disappointed in Samsung, and will absolutely stick with other brands in the future for both ours sake and our customers.

Connecting to the internet is easy and fast and there are countless apps available. It is a perfect size for a large living room and just looks beautiful. I would buy this tv again without a second thought

I do have a Chromecast connected but never have a need to use it. Picture quality is amazing. I love watching 4K abstract videos from YouTube on this TV as a background. The blacks are really black. The remote is very simple and I love that it's rechargeable and solar powered. Great job Samsung.

When using it for streaming tv will freeze and go black. But as long as you don't use there smart tv function it works great. I fixed the issue by buying a Google cast plug in . This way I could use the tv. Actually very disapointing because I am a diehard samsung fan with everything I buy electronics is samsung.

Like the Samsung TV and the ability to add applications off your choice. But disappointed with the picture quality. I expected crisp colors and brighter jump at you picture. Some of the notable features I've been continually pleased with: fast start up, when the screen image is completely dark it is indistinguishable from the TV being off, TV receiver is actually impressive in pulling in HD digital stations with a cheap antenna, rich rich colors, and the easy-to-navigate interface. It integrates well with my stereo speaker system via the eARC-HDMI for complete surround sound. It allows for you to use your phone via Samsung app to control the TV, but I stick with the remote control, which is intuitive and simple. The remote control works at a very long range (I didn't get this info in any reviews) and has solar cell recharging on the back, but I'm not sure if it even works. I think I've only recharged the remote via cord once in the entire year, and I don't think it even needed it. One of the reasons I selected this display type was for its reputed resistance to burn-in and expected longevity. I'm definitely pleased with this purchase.

I have a Sony 75, which barely picks up streaming so maybe the Samsung has a better receiver on it? And the clarity of the sound is so much better than the Sony.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 85 inch wonder I use my Samsung 85 inch for all formats, HD-DVD, Blu-ray, streaming and internet. The picture is clean and crisp as well as customizable. I also have a Samsung soundboard that works well giving me Dolby sound. I check for software updates regularly. It has built in malware protection. The TV works great, my only wish was that the wireless adapter was in WIFI 6. The speed is adequate if you're watching Netflix or Prime because their compression features are good, but I have yet to stream any 4K programs. The size is great as it really makes a home theater.

The graphics when you're watching movies or sports and also playing games makes you feel like you're actually involved. I love the slim remote control because it fits perfectly in my hand and also how I can control my TV with my phone as well. The audio is crystal clear and it's not muffled like other brands are and I bet it'll sound even better once I hook my surround sound system up to it. I love the movie theater experience it gives when you're watching the latest releases, I wish it was in 3D or had 3D capabilities. Buying this TV was a great decision and it doesn't disappoint and I can't wait to explore all that it has to offer.

The colors are vibrant and the sound quality is great. The remote control is super effective and allows to change the channels from far off distance. The sound bar came on the expected date while the TV was delayed due to an issue which didn't allow it to ship. So we decided to call Samsung customer service for an answer. Note no one reached out to us about the problem and it was 5 days past the expected date. When we spoke to customer service they said the TV had a problem and didn't ship. They advised us to place a new order for the TV and THAT THEY WILL CANCEL THE ORDER THAT DIDNT SHIP. So we did that... fast forward to present the first order was still charged to my card. When I received the TV for my second order. They shipping sent me the TV for the first one as well that was canceled. Now I am trying to tell them I canceled the order and wanna return the TV for the first order and get my money back they are giving me a hard time. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS WEBSITE.

I decided to switch and upgrade to Samsung and I am most definitely not going back. Definitely recomend for gaming as well since it has an HDMI specific for gaming which transforma the gaming experience. I paired it up with the Soundbar Q990C. Perfect match!

I love the fact that the provided apps allow me to stream content from my cable provider and not have to rent a box from them. Soooo much better than my Vizio that cannot do this. I love all the provided content as well (fireplace log). Installation was pretty straight forward. I love the rechargeable remote. It has 3 HDMI inputs which makes it super easy to hook a source up to it. It is the best choice for my home theater.

Definitely worth spending a little bit more and buy the quality stuff that you won’t regret to have for years! I originally had a 75 inch but upgraded to 85! I love watching movies on it and I have my friends and coworkers wanting to come over to my house to watch movies and games! This TV also has great responsiveness for gaming as well! I had one small issue with my previous Q80 75inch TV’s screen but it was covered under warranty and really a painless process! Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT STREAMING Great features are colors and you can calibrate tv colors. Fast streaming with no buffering. Samsung should improve and have a feature to watch movies in full screen for the movies who has black border lines on the sides.

I am a Samsung product user. I have all of their products, phone, watch, tablet, sound bar etc. And have not been disappointed. I recommend this TV.
