I use the latest Samsung soundbar 11.4.1 with sub and Samsung Symphony so it uses all tv speakers and soundbar speakers. It's legit!

Now the ui/menu is a bit annoying since it requires a bit too much navigating and maybe could have been simpified a bit since some things take too many steps to actually do with the menu. Now the whole bluetooth thing works fine not a person who thinks that's an amazing feature for me but hey at least it's there

The size one was ab upgrade, changed from 63 inch to 85 inch. With the clear pictures I can see everything on the screen, crisp and clean too. I use the TV for a variety of activities. Most common would be streaming Netflix and using Xbox One for video games and 4k movies. Plus HDMI 4 is specific for gaming. The TV memorizes devices, which I have hooked up my laptop for workouts, ipad for music, and headphones for when my husband is sleeping.

My grand kids love watching their shows and they play games as well. They are trying to take over the tv. I placed mines on the wall but you don't have too. Family members say wow and that they want one. I really love samsung products. I'm a Droid my cell is a Samsung. Lol. Don't wait any longer its worth it.

Unfortunately the tv did not meet the expectations. The tv is extremely glitchy. The software/ operating system is slow and not the most user friendly. I’ve had several apps crash, start over, be u responsive. Multiple times per week. Picture quality is good but of no use if it’s difficult to use the tv. And for the price I expected so much more.

This is the fifth Samsung I have owned and will only buy Samsung’s as I do have other products the QLED has me hooked. The Q symphony option when paired with a sound bar that supports makes all the difference. Sound from everywhere ensures you never miss a whisper, shuffle in the dark, call on the field, crunch of a bone, you name the sound and you are hearing it. Also the colors pop on every show allowing to truly enjoy the full 85" inches of viewing pleasure no matter what angle you are sitting at. Phenomenal TV and great purchase!!!

When we walk into an electronic store with several TV's running, it is easy to compare pics side by side. I always gravitate to and choose the Samsung. Their pictures are just so clear! The QLED has many options, we like this one because is it full array. If you don't know what that is, google the options and do the research. It makes a difference when you see them side by side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny This is used in a large rec room with skylights for general viewing day and night as well as movies, usually at night. I was going to buy a simpler version, but wanted good daytime viewing as well as fairly wide viewing angles. The controlled, distributed backlighting makes this worth every penny. Motion artifacts are minimal, even watching sports or serious CGI movies. I'm glad I upped my budget, as this TV is amazing! Watching in the dark is so lifelike you have to recalibrate your mind to what you're seeing. And watching in daylight is excellent, even overcoming reflections on the screen! There is not a ton of 4k content yet, but the upconversion to 4k is not that different from native 4k. Even the sound from this beast of a TV is amazing. Although the TV itself is less than 100 pounds, the stand adds around 15 pounds, and the box as shipped says it weighs 167 pounds- it feels like more, lol! It is about a foot larger than the TV vertically and horizontally! The packaging alone is a wonder to behold, but you definitely want 2 people to move the box and remove the TV and assemble the stand or a mount.

I performed a self diagnostic and reset, it got better for a while, but is bad again. I called Costco (I bought it there) and they said: its been 90 days... you need to call blah blah blah. I am so sad. I am a very loyal Samgung customer since 20 years ago and this is my first lemon....

Whe the curved 4k TV by Samsung was released I thought no way will they top this in quality boy was I wrong then they released the 4k QLED and its honestly a much better improvement next I want to get an 8k QLED, I recommend the Samsung 4k QLED great video quality, slick design very easy to mount I love this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Times You Can't Go to Theaters My family loves going to the theaters to watch the latest blockbusters and since the pandemic limited us from going there to enjoy those movies, having this TV in our home meets and even surpasses that itch. We even now have regular movie nights to watch movie premieres. The main thing I love about the TV (aside from the size) is the amount of settings you can do to really dial in the picture quality. There are so much settings that it can overwhelm someone new, but one could just put it on Filmmaker Mode for a pretty good base and stick to that. It's very sharp and playing 4K/UHD movies are great specially in the dark. Make sure you turn off the Power Saving mode though so that it doesn't mess with your TV's brightness settings, (I do this with all TVs). The sound is decent and very good for a TV, but if you're serious about movies, consider getting a decent soundbar with a good subwoofer. There are a lot current streaming apps included and probably more that will get added, so you don't really need to get an external streaming box/stick. All the apps play in native 4K HDR (where available) which is great. There's a picture in picture which you can configure to be a split screen or PiP window. There is a game mode for video game enthusiasts that supports the latest 4K game consoles. The best part of the Smart TV functions is probably the inclusion of Samsung TV Plus, which is just free TV with a truckload of entertaining channels. Overall and Conclusion: I love this TV

It is magnificent! The big blank wall is now fulfilled with the Samsung 85! It was a small challenge to put up on the wall Mount , but viewing any type of show is breathtaking. The colors, crisp, and lively, the sound is superb.

The specs don't lie 3) Stop reading reviews and buy one 4) No regrets

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a well made TV we didn't notice there was an issue until we watched a movie at night in the dark. in black scenes, there were gray blocks and even during very white scenes there were still gray blocks. picture is good except for the grayish blotches, we just couldn't live with it for the price we paid. also, it's pretty bulky, not a thin model, not sure if it's because it was the 85".

The Bluetooth transmitter works fantastic with the 1Mii Lavaudio HiFi Bluetooth 5.0 Music Receiver for Home Stereo Long Range Bluetooth Audio Adapter with Audiophile DAC, aptX HD and LDAC for AV Receiver or Stereo Amplifier - DS200Pro. I love that my Xfinity remote can now control the volume of my PA Systems (used for Theater-like Surround sound)!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV is big but th colors are faded I use my TV to watch TV, movies, animal shows, sports. I am very satisfied with the size and sound of the TV but I am not happy with the color sharpness. I expected the colors would be brilliant. The colors appear to be faded. Even trying various setting adjustments doesn't improve the sharpness. The concierge is not very helpful. For the price we paid, we expected a great picture and we are very disappointed so far. I also have trouble using the various apts. I wish there were better directions and instructions.

The picture is so clear for such a large tv. We have all Subscription options for anything we could possibly want to watch and with the easiest access. We Love It!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Buy So I have had my new Samsung 85inch Q80A for about 2 months now and was a up grade from a Samsung 75inch UHD. Let me tell you, I'm glad I upgraded. I use this tv for everything, from watching all my streaming services, watching Blue ray movies, sports to gaming on my PS4 Pro. I can see my color more deep and vibrant with the perfect amount of brightness. When I watch sports, I don't see a lag in the fast moving content. When I game my HDR kicks in and the color looks great. Also response times are great too. Now I'm a big sound person and compared to my past Samsung TV's I have owned, Samsung really improved drastically with this Tv. I can here more of the voices clearly as well as the sound effects better with out having to turn my sound almost all the way up with past Samsungs. If you want even better sound get the new Q950A 11.1.4 soundbar as I did and you will fall in love even more, it really is theater like sound. I also love the newer interface, it seems more streamline compared to the 2019 model big bulky icons and speaking into the remote is also a very convenient feature. This is a must buy if you watch tv the way I do. You won't regret it

The color and clarity is like a shiny new diamond. The features are second to none. Downloading the available apps is simple. The setup is simple. In short.... WOW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I Need I use my TV for streaming, gaming, and watching movies. The graphics are phenomenal. The ease of being able to navigate/toggle between apps and gaming, fast and never have I encountered a glitch. My family now own two of these televisions and and love it.
