I use to like the quality of Samsung but they went downhill since my last tv, I guess I'm sticking with lg from now on , I had no problems with my lg TVs for the last 5 years.

The size fits our wall perfectly, and the overall setup blends seamlessly into our modern space. From the moment we powered it on, I knew we made the right choice. Setup was incredibly easy. The menu walks you through everything step by step, and getting apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ ready took just minutes. The remote is simple and intuitive — no clutter or overcomplication. What really stands out is the picture quality. The colors are incredibly vibrant and lifelike — honestly, I’ve been rewatching old movies just to experience how different they feel now. It gives them this almost 3D-like depth, where foreground characters seem to pop off the screen. Even SDR content is upscaled beautifully. The blacks are true black, and there’s zero blooming, which makes watching dark scenes feel cinematic. The image I’ve attached shows a live NBA game, and it gives a great idea of how sharp, punchy, and clear the display is, even in a brightly lit scene. The action is smooth, colors are rich, and the contrast helps separate every detail on the court. Build quality feels premium — solid construction, thin bezels, and the screen has a refined matte finish that reduces glare effectively. Since our samsung was installed, our viewing experience has been nothing short of amazing. the picture quality is mind blowing; sharp, bright and vibrant. the interface on the main menu; it’s easy to read and follow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st TV Warped, Replacement Good Ordered from Best Buy the 83" and they installed it - noticed center had excessive warping of the screen which was easy to see given the highly reflective screen (which is listed in specs as anti-reflection, which it clearly is NOT!). Took a while for Best Buy to replace it and to a reinstall. But all is good now. Picture adjusted to my liking (fussy about that) and looks great. Paired it with Samsung sound bar with Q-Symphony for great sound. My personal disappointment with Samsung (which I have many Samsung TVs) is the lack of a "full" apps library. There are apps I want, but cannot get from what is available on the TV itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good - tuner bad Hi, I use my tv for evening watching, just normal tv shows. However, when I first turn it on, it is very blurry. It takes about 5 minutes for it to eventually correct itself. Then, it has to reset itself another 5 minutes after viewing. I hate that it does this after changing the channels. It's like it has a bad tuner, right out of the box. Ugh!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No complaints This is prob the best TV I've ever purchased. Picture quality is magnificent. Most non 4k shows/movies are still pretty clear. Still trying to figure out how to get my 4k firestick to come thru as 4k and set up universal remote for firestick and having it stay connected is still a challenge but ill figure it out... ? Only problem i have is the remote is volume and channel buttons are very soft amd will change to Samsung TV so easily (sometimes just setting the remote down upside down to solar charge--- or just looking at the remote lol). Otherwise great visuals

IT is now October 19th and they still do not have an update other than it haas been approved and new one has shipped. No tracking, no communication. Just lies about it is ready to go, it has been shipped, it is waiting to ship, it will ship soon. Always another excuse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zero stars needs to be an option DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH!!! Known power issue will have you saddled with a broken TV that won’t power on. Samsuck’s service is garbage. They won’t tell you it’s a known issue, but do your research. There are many reviews detailing sudden power failure. They conveniently have no techs to fix, so they offer to replace with the same garbage. And that is only after they send a flakey trucking company to pick up your black screened art. By the way, you must remove the aforementioned black screened art from the mount yourself. All in all, if you decide to buy a boat anchor for your living room, plan on month+ long interruptions to enjoying it!

We chose to stay with Samsung because of the ability to flip easily between channels…then there was a software update and the ability to switch back and forth directly was eliminated making Samsung as unwieldy as all the other brands. Would be 5 stars otherwise!

And just 2 months after the warranty luckily my insurance is gonna take care of it but im reading now that this is a kown issue now so I probably won't be getting the same tv again

Sound is Ok so we added a Samsung surround sound speaker system. The “universal” remote is lacking. As a search engine ok but does nothing for our spectrum receiver. Tried third party remote but have not found any that will recognize the tv. Lack of instructions is also an issue.

Solancell minimalistic remote is very easy to operate and mentainance free. Inbuilt speaker quality, sound clarity is exceptional good. Galaxy phones can be easily connect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but wouldn't by OLED again I bought this 3 was ago. I had the Geek Squad do setup. I bought OLED for the incredible picture inside the store. I was unaware that there are not alot of 4k programs available on Cable. Had I known, I would have saved 1k and bought the QLED instead. I hate the remote. It is not a user replacement battery. It is ridiculously tiny and difficult for seniors to use because a few buttons do every thing. No way to punch in channel numbers. The sound bar is a huge disappointment...the set up is too difficult and there is zero output from the big speaker. I can't afford to hire Geek Squad for each issue as it is discovered. The Geek guys placed the sound bar too high on the stand. I discovered this after losing pairing on my DVR cable remote constantly. I finally noticed a red light underneath the TV was blocked by the sound bar. Once I moved the sound bar lower, the remote pairing worked and stayed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful customer support and infancy failure TV had stellar image and sound quality. Design was sleek and it “seemed” well made. However, 26 days in the power supply malfunctioned and damaged the mother board. Samsungs solution was to evaluate it 2 weeks later then say “we will order parts but not sure when you will have them.” Alternative 2 was equally awful of a return via pickup but also “several weeks” with the refund being a Samsung website credit not a refund of cash. This means I would have to spend more to get the same tv back once I factored in all costs. I got lucky with an extended return window from Best Buy due to Christmas time but this made me salty enough to buy Sony for the first time in my life. A $4000 TV should get better customer service period.

The first one lasted 1 day when the HDMI hookups shelled out causing a blue screen with no sound. After that one was replaced our 2nd one did the same thing briefly but hasn't done it since. Currently the TV is randomly shutting off while watching ( blue screen comes up and says 'no power' ) and will randomly turning on (it must be listening)! I intend to call the retailer where we purchased it, it's under warranty. We love Samsung products and will continue to purchase them, I'm just wondering if this model has some issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Failed to follow through for my Rakuten rebate. I’ve had the TV for 2 months. I only upgraded and bought a more expensive TV because Rakuten offered 15% on my purchase. The denied my $495 because you (Samsung) have not varied my purchase with them. They’ve requested proof of purchase and sent you several letters for it. You have not responded. I spent an extra $1,000 for a better TV knowing I’d be getting half of it back. Totally disappointed. Why make agreements with other businesses like Rakuten if you don’t follow through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT PICTURE! Initial setup was a rather involved process, but otherwise great. Picture quality is excellent, and it pairs easily with other products. I would recommend syncing this with the Samsung Q990C (or D if you need 2.1), the plug & play setup is quick and easy, Q-Symphony sets right up, and the sound is absolutely incredible. Cannot say enough about this TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Apathetic Samsung (customer service) Purchased a 83" Class OLED S90D online when I open and installed the tv it did not work. The frame was bent and the tv did not work. I contacted Samsung directly and asked them to help me make necessary repairs at my cost, they said they would but later contacted me by email and said they could not help me and the case was closed. I am out of the money of the tv ($3300.00) and absolutely out of support from Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won’t Power On After three weeks this thing tripped the breaker at 5:30 AM and won’t power back on. A $3300 TV should not brick itself. These models need to be recalled and manufacturing needs to address the power issue. Prior to dying the picture quality was great.

However, we’ve had it seven months and already need to replace a power unit. This seems to be a common issue with Samsung TVs, according to internet research. This TV was too expensive for this type of problem to show this early.

The refresh rate, response time, and input lag are amazing. I have it in my basement close to some windows and I have no trouble with glare or brightness.

I love That we no longer have a “black hole” in our den, but now have lovely artwork that we can change to whatever strikes our fancy. This TV offers so many free channels that we decided to cancel our satellite service and only watch the Samsung channels and whatever streaming app we choose. Love the we are saving $$$ The picture is beautifully clear and colorful. Very pleased with this purchase.

The OLED technology on top of everything else Samsung's technical expertise put into this product makes this the TV to compare all others when it comes to imaging. The only disappointment is the mediocre sound, but a SONOS Soundbar took care of that with full immersive sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful TV, but... I'd love to give this a 5 star and would if only rating the quality of the picture. It really is fantastic. It's bright, responsive, sleek, crystal clear, true blacks, and has the right adjustments available for what I want. Reason to knock a star off: 1) It can be buggy. Random shutdowns, freeze-ups, and other unexpected glitchy behaviors. Not frequent, but enough I can't ignore it. 2) Alexa stops working occasionally and forces me to go through numerous steps to fix. They're not even always the same steps. It runs the range of simple reboot, full reboot by unplugging, and/or going through settings. Sometimes those settings are set correctly and still need to be turned off and on again. 3) User interface is meh. It might be good for some but not us. It would be simple to have this user customizable, they should. Let me hide the stuff I don't use and put front and center what I do. Or if not that, at least send the designers to a human centered design class. Overall we still love it, but there are some frustrations.
