Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS TV!!! I bought this TV from Best Buy on 29th Sept. On 2nd Nov, the TV tripped the breaker and wouldnt power on. After one week of back and forth with the Samsung Care, they sent a tech who knew before coming in about the issue and straight away replaced the power board on the OCB within 5 mins. This has made the TV to work again but I am worried that its going to happen again as mentioned in many reviews here. So please DO NOT BUY this TV until Samsung comes up with a permanent fix. Until then, us existing customers who are stuck, will have to keep going through this painful process until our warranty run off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My S95D OLED I really enjoy my new TV, the picture is great and the matte screen works really well at decreasing any glare. The only issue I have is the TV's processor seems like it could be upgraded. I often have lags while changing channels or apps. Another issue is I have to perform a hard reset about once a week due to the lags becoming freezes with no response from the tv. Again, the picture quality is great, but if the other issues could be fixed, I believe it would be one of the best TVs on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 3 months! The tv did not start after three months. Performed check with Samsung technical support online for over two hours. A company hired by Samsung came to inspect the tv, said the power source in the black box is not working due to not receiving any power.Ordered new part, to be installed in few days. The company hired by Samsung will not unmount the 77 inch tv so I had to pay $162 to Best Buy to unmount it. Once tv works, I will have to pay Best Buy $273 to mount it again. Samsung should reimburse me for these costs and inconvenience.

That eliminates the need to spend extra for benefit on streaming services like Netflix. We are very satisfied with our TV and the Samsung soundbar integrates the TV speakers with the soundbar for terrific sounds, particularly in movie mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad 77” TV Purchased a 77” tv. Highly recommend by sales guy at Best Buy. After a month out stopped working. Best Buy replaced it. Two months later the replacement stopped working. I was told by Best Buy that I now had to deal directly with Samsung. I had to wait a week for a service tech and he couldn’t fix it. He called Samsung and explained the situation. It’s now been over 7 weeks without a TV. A shipping company is supposed to pick it up on Tuesday July 8th. I then have to take a picture of the bill of lading and send it back to Samsung. After a couple of days they are supposed to send me e- coupon for the $3,499.99 I paid for the TV. Then I order a new tv from Samsung and wait for a delivery. I also will have to call Best Buy back so they. Can re-install it at a cost of $250.00. Now that really sucks.

Samsung uses 3rd party vendor to make repairs and it takes forever to have the TV looked at. I don’t know if this failure to work problem is common to this model or we just got a lemon. Explore options is all I can say.

The brightness is a game changer for OLED TVs, and the non-reflective service is like magic. No more seeing reflections of windows and lights. The upscaler is terrific; even old programs in a 4X3 format look new and great. Color is always spot on and naturally saturated. This TV simply produces the most realistic images of any set I have ever owned.

Today, I m turning it on and just won’t. No powering on! Tried all day, all the troubleshooting from your website, google, YouTube, etc and unfortunately did not resolved the issue. I called Best Buy, referred me to Samsung for support! Now, with this almost new product I’m under the mercy of Samsung! I shouldn’t be going through all this with the amount of money I paid and with the TV you said are excellent. Crazy and unfair, thus losing my confidence.

The matte screen solves the problem and super thin as well. Was not able to place the control box where all the connections are made behind the unit as my wall had extra studs.

It took two weeks for it to get repaired. The tech installed a new power board into the box that controls the screen. The picture on the tv is great, but for the high cost of the tv I would have expected it to not have problems at 5 months. I reached out to Samsung to see if they would extend the warranty due to this issue and I was denied. I am the owner of 5 Samsung tv’s with this being the highest quality model. I’m hoping I don’t have any issues with it in the near future.

The non-glare screen makes a big difference when there is a big window opposite and the sun beats in. The colors are outstanding and sound is amazing. The one connect box makes the wires easy to hide and makes for an ultra clean install.

The picture and anti glare are awesome, but the quality is extremely sub-par. I'm disappointed in this this purchase as I'm a long time Samsung fan and have several products.

Well, this is what would be for the last one?? 4K resolution contents can any better these days? I wonder. This TV was very controversial due to Anti Glare coating. I worried when I ordered cause critics said something about it. Honestly I got no problem with it. When it was running you don’t see the glare at all cause it is so bright. I noticed 4K-OLED TVs have been gotten better than ever. More so in brightness and APP contents. 4K is as 4K has been…. I don’t see my self upgrading this for a while unless 8K contents are available more. I had LG OLED and it developed Burn in which bothered me. Samsung had good sales on this 2024 model and couldn’t passed it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture with a bad OS. The TV was easy to setup and I liked how many options it gave me to with the TV box. The pictures quality is great. The only issues i have with it is the speakers on the back and the operating system the TV is running. With all the speakers on the back I felt like it should be able to have more deep base. The home screen and how they have their "app store" is horrible. Its hard to find anything you want and easy to find stuff they want you to find. Thankfully its something they can send an update over the air but I doubt they will.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing when it works This TV is, by far, the absolute best looking TV I've ever seen. Nothing, including the Bravia 8 ii comes close. However, mine died less than a year later and getting it repaired/replaced had been a nightmare. First it was "we'll send a technician." Then it was "theres no one who can fix it in your area so we will send you a new S95F". Then it was "oh nvm theres no warehouses in your area so we will give you a refund". Then it was "actually there IS a warehouse in your area so we will send you a replacement again. Please wait two days for approval." Two days later the replacement is approved and they tell me it'll take 21 days for delivery AND my warranty doesnt re-up with the new TV. Which would be fine except for a whole month of my warranty I won't even have a TV AND a month to get a replacement is absolutely insane. Then now, after another 3 days of waiting for a replacement I get a phone call. I answer it, call immediately drops and I get a text saying they actually CAN'T send a replacement and to call them back. So I do, and get told theres no way they called me today because theyre actually closed. Bro what?? So again when it works it's the best TV ever made. But the support surrounding it is absolutely atrocious and I won't buy another one. Nor will I get another Galaxy phone, or Samsung sound bar, or appliance.

That’s when I miss all the conversation and have to rewind 25 second to make up for the delay. VERY ANNOYING!! Secondly, the picture quality is not good at times.

But now this TV did the very same thing on Oct. 30th and so we are now waiting to have Samsung either fix it or what??we really loved the picture and the features but just frustrating that the same issue happened again. hope this can be resolved cause i have always been buying Samsung products for many years.

Now, it is stable, but sounds muffled… like holding cups over your ears. Picture? Amazing. Flawless. Quality for price? Meh, I guess I’ll take Samsung off its pedestal I’ve been resting them on for 20 years. Oh well. Good thing Sonos is around to fill the sound void.

This isn't just an upgrade; it has fundamentally transformed my living room. The picture quality is pure sorcery. The Quantum Dot OLED delivers explosive, vibrant colors I didn't think were possible. The best part? The blacks. They are truly perfect—inky, absolute, and deep, making every other color pop with breathtaking contrast. The Glare-Free screen is a total game-changer! My living room gets a ton of afternoon sun, and my old TV was basically a mirror. I was skeptical, but this is no gimmick; it's pure magic. I can now watch the darkest movie scenes in the middle of a bright day with almost zero reflections. This feature alone is worth the price. For gaming, this TV is a dream. Fit well into our space as we replaced our old projection big screen we ha been using for years. No more cave with the smart TV. We can watch what we want. We love having family and friends come over to enjoy sports and movies. Still learning so many things to make it better. We love it!

I wish I would have done more research into this specific model and size before purchasing. Hopefully Samsung issues long term solutions because this shouldn't be happening on flagship models. I can only imagine the issues that will pop up on the S95F.

Tizen os is 95% ok sometimes a little laggy amd i wish there weren't sudo ads built into it. One connect box makes it easier for super clean install. Another pretty cool feature if you have a compatible galaxy phone is you can do a color calibration with the phones camera. Overall very satisfied with the TV sometimes felt left out vecause no dolby vision but HDR10+ hopefully will become more widespread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TV....HOWEVER, the OCB may have design issue Before reading the issue below, please understand that Samsung was PHENOMENAL in addressing and resolving the issue. They reimbursed more than my purchase price to ensure I had enough to cover the cost of a new unit at retail cost. It was a check good as cash, and not a product voucher. The process from initial contact to receiving check was about 4 weeks, much of it was due to not having local Samsung staff near my zip code. Purchased original unit from local box store, it worked for about 60 days then it did not. We were watching with no issues on a Saturday night then Sunday morning it did not. Red light was off, and it was never determined whether it was an issue with panel, or the One Connect Box (OCB). I was disappointed that Samsung could not send me OCB to try; therefore, the entire unit had to be returned to Samsung since it was out of the box stores 30-day window. The tv has a great picture, and the non-glare screen is a help in the brightly lit location it resides. The OCB is a nice feature, but it is a single point of failure, I mean the 77 inch is extremely heavy and the tv is dead if the OCB fails. Since Samsung took the resolution, they did, I had no reason not to purchase another of same model with a 5 warranty from in online resource. The tv arrived, it worked and then just an hour later it did not!! Same issue, no red light. The online retailer had an OCB for me to try. Received that in just two days and it worked. The OCB Model is SOC5003D

The first breakdown occurred within 2 weeks when Samsung replaced the TV, and the second incident occurred 6 months later. This time, a technician was sent to replace the main controller board. It was a common issue and was resolved with the new design. We are now two months into using the latest power board. The TV is great when it works! Great colors, and it works well in our bright living room.

Unfortunately, tv purchased on 11/29 died and will not turn on as of August. Unfortunately that was overshadowed by the first TV not working after 4 days. NO redlight, no power. The TV was replaced on warranty, but it took VERY long, over 4 months. This TV lasted 6 weeks, then the same happened. Coming back from vacation, no red light no power. I can't express enough how disappointing this is. No I have to go through the same tedious, super slow and annyoing warranty process to get a replacement. Its probably just a simple fuse in the one connect box that fails often but they have to replace everything, a huge 77 inch TV that is installed on the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands Down the best TV I've ever owned! This TV is the center of our living space! At 77" visible throughout our entire main living floor. Whether it's playing video games, streaming apps/ or old school UHD discs this tv just delivers. The Brightness and Glare Free effect has been an absolute game changer for us. It was almost impossible to watch our old tv. With over 9 windows allowing in tons of sunlight and recessed lighting and bright LED light fixtures there its virtually no reflections to be seen at all with this model. At night with the lights off the picture becomes even more unbelievable as blacks virtually disappear. As in aren't lit which is amazing the see a movie play in its intended format without lit black bars above and below the picture. It's as if the tv changes shape. I can't express how much of a treat it is. The upgrades to video games visuals has also been an unexpected surprise. Games on my PS5 have never looked so breathtaking. I didn't know what I was missing. Through minimal adjustments I found it very easy to find what picture settings worked best for our family. Daytime vs night viewing we do prefer to change picture modes. For good reason the brightness is just incredible for a oled which is great for my daytime viewing as listed above, but a bit too much when viewing at night. This is why these settings are there. I genuinely love this tv. I would advise a professional to mount as its a lot bigger than you think.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from highfilover I currently have two S95D OLED 4K TV (2024) one in a bedroom and another in a theater room, both 77 inch. The S95D use the Tizen smart TV platform. I wish it has an APP for my Xfinity TV service. Other than that, the TV has a spectacular color and brightness. The Dynamic picture mode can be a little overwhelming in a dark room but works great in bright spaces. I like the movie mode the most, it is just like being at the movies.

A little disappointed in a $5000.00 tv to lack reliability.

Samsung is the way to go for multiple products, not just TVs, and I don't think I'll purchase another brand of TV again. After watching something on this TV I can't watch the same thing on any other TV because of how clear the picture comes through on it. I stream shows and movies, and when I rewatch something I've seen before on a different TV again on this TV, I can't believe all the things I didn't notice before, from simple things in the background to details about the character's faces or clothing. I would highly recommend getting this TV if you're looking for an upgrade!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product concerns Set it up and enjoyed for 2 weeks. Picture and anti-glare screen was great. After the 2 weeks, picture would not show (black screen with sound). Customer service warrantied a service call roughly a week later. 2 technicians took the TV apart and tried to replace a large mother board (not sure of the name). Didn't solve the issue. Tech stated it was the entire screen. They scheduled another appointment for the screen in another week. Samsung customer service called a few days later and told us the part was on back order with no ETA. We asked for a refund. This was our 4th Samsung TV. The last 3 have been flawless. Hopefully this was just a lemon, but I am not to confident in the product right now. Customer service and the technicians were great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy My new 77” S95D arrived 3 weeks ago. 21 days later it would not turn on. No light . Dead in the water. Did all the typical troubleshooting with support. They schedule technical service for 7 day later . Nothing sooner. I started doing a lot more research on this problem with Samsung Oled TV and surprisingly found this to be a major defect issue among many buyers. Some after repairs made the issue reoccurred Samsung needs to fix this issue and provide new sets for all us that have been experiencing this. I will wait for the repair and see the outcome of my brand new TV which I was only able to enjoy 21 days.

Every time I turn the TV on, it's a minute or more before I finally can get to what I want to watch. If I had tried in a store first, I would not have bought it.

We bought this TV in October 2024 from a local business. No issues. Six weeks later it quit. Out of the blue just would not turn on ant all. Under warranty. Called and got into the biggest mess with their customer service putting our ticket under another customer in our area getting a refund. Would not let me get service and swore we would get a refund. Called days later to find out that wasn’t the case. Wanted to send service but based on their assuring we would be getting a refund we purchased a Sony. Working great. Won’t refund or help resolve due to their incompetence. Working with local business we bought from to sort this out. Please save yourself the pain and buy another brand. I will tell every know about this horrible scenario.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible picture for OLED tv! I bought this 77” s95d because it was supposed to be the best oled from Samsung. The picture is absolutely terrible. We previously owned a Q7. The Q7 had an outstanding picture. I thought that buying a 2024 Samsung S95D would be a big improvement over the Q7. It is not. I have reached out to Samsung 3 different times. Samsung doesn’t seem to care about there customers. They over no help. I am asking Samsung to help out in this matter. We have supported Samsung for years. The colors are absolutely terrible. If I don’t hear from Samsung I will return for LG G4 oled. Please know that if you purchase this tv, you will spend hours trying to make the picture look better. Even the Samsung rep at BestBuy said it would look bad out of the box. I should have listened. My advice is to buy another brand of tv! How can a company sell such bad tvs?

I have a house filled with natural light streaming through multiple windows, and my kitchen has bright under-cabinet lighting—but the S95D handles it like a champ. The anti-glare technology is incredible; no matter where I sit, the screen remains clear, vibrant, and distraction-free. The colors are breathtakingly vivid, with rich blacks and crisp details that make every scene look lifelike. Whether I’m watching a movie, catching up on sports, #RiseUp, or streaming a show, the picture quality is flawless—even during the brightest parts of the day. Hook it up with a applicable sound bar for the Q-Symphony effect. It's the anti glare for me!!! The sound is great and we almost feel like we are part of the show watching from the sidelines not through the TV, but in real life. There is no light reflection. The TV works flawlessly. I am enjoying watching TV more than ever before because of this TV. I can’t say enough good things about this TV. You just have to have it to realize it. My setup was complicated by the recessed opening behind the TV and aver the fireplace which I was trying to cover completely and keep the flat against the wall look. The one connect box sits level in the recessed opening and the 1/2" thick panel is all you see. I did add a sound bar as the TV speakers were a little weak and may have been impacted by the 28" deep opening behind. Tornado on Netflix and Amazing Beasts on Antenna TV were great!! Also like the glare free look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glare free TV 77". We wanted a glare free TV. The pictures I've shared speak for themselves. You can see how a gloss screen looks vs matte in the pictures after taking of the protective film. This is our main TV and it's in a room surrounded by windows. If we watched TV during the day, we were closing all our blinds and even then, the glare would be there in the background and the brightness settings couldn't always keep up. With this TV, just sit down and watch any time of day. It took a while to get the colors set where I wanted it for each "mode". I watched a few videos on how to do it. Spend the time to do it. The picture is worth it. The TV speakers (4) are actually pretty decent without a sound bar. Vastly better than any other flat-screen I've purchased. My Samsung soundbar does auto connect but needs a separate remote to turn it on. The TV doesn't need extra cables for the most part as everything's built in. No more Roku needed. Downloaded apps on the TV are in an simple layout. Bonus, there's no connectivity issues or additional remotes (other than my sound bar) but even that connects wirelessly. Built in TV tuner. Only thing wired is my Blu-ray player. On occasion, the internet doesn't auto-connect. It's the TV. I have to restart it several times. It's like it's stuck. Aside from it's cost, I'm very happy with the TV. It's very clear. There's a big difference in picture quality over a cheaper model. In the end, this TV is worth it especially with the glare free screen.

This was the best looking picture I have experienced and was super happy until day number 13!!! The TV will not even power up at all. I have called in support and having to wait another week for a replacement and pulling out the reliable $300 HIsense TV to watch again.

It has several modes, including gaming mode, which makes my Xbox series X even better. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extended warranty not available for S95D 77" OLED I bought this TV through the promotion directly from Samsung (getting a 65" tv for free). The TVs arrived yesterday but when I went to add Samsung Care+ (2 more years of protection), the system told me the TV is not eligible. I chatted with Samsung and spoke to Samsung care+ , but no one can explain why it is ineligible. My only guess is that I was sold a defective TV which they are not willing to warranty past 12 months. That was not written anywhere and SamsungCare+ is offered with the TV today. Very disappointed with the service. One of the people even suggested that I return the TVs and reorder. I'm not sure what I will do, but I am very disappointed that I can't get a straight answer from anyone at Samsung.

I have 20 thats right 20 windows on the back of my house. This TV is absolutely fantastic. I had a higher end qled in my house and the glare was unbearable certain times of day. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Anti glare technology. WOW!!!! The beauty of this TV is unmistakable. I have a serious light reflection problem from 2 ceiling fans with 4 bulbs per fan in my living room. Because of my TVs being wall mounted, the reflection caused by the fans is terrible. I have battled this problem for nearly 20 years with no viable option to fix it until now. I was in Best Buy browsing and saw The Frame TV. I was blown away at the anti glare technology. I then looked at the S95D and almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. The colors produced by the OLED screen is nothing short of amazing. All of the neon bulb's reflection in the other TVs were obvious, but the S95D seemed to just absorb the light. If that was possible at my house, I was sold and sure enough it was. I can barely see any reflection at all and that is me actively looking for it. The screen literally displaced the light reflection from 8 daylight 60 watt bulbs that sit from 10 to 15 feet way. It was an answer to my 20 + year old prayers. Also, the OLED screen is seriously impressive and the 120 frame rate gives you that feeling you are part of whatever you're watching. I upgraded my DVD player to 4K and also upgraded my AV receiver to 4K output. Yes, it an expensive upgrade but it is worth every single penny I invested. I am technologically set for years to come! Thank you Samsung for giving us, the consumer, this option.

Delivery was unavailable until January 20, 2025 which was crazy for the Christmas holidays. Had to pay someone to pick-up from Best Buy on a Saturday, someone other than (from Samsung) me scheduled install the next day Sunday at 8 am. I got up waiting for the 2 installers who never showed up at my home but instead were waiting outside in the parking lot of Best Buy 15 miles from my home. And oh buy the way the nearest Best Buy closets to my home didn't have it so the pick-up person had to drive ten miles further to the Best Buy that had the TV. Also Best Buy would not transfer it to the store near me. And Best Buy store locations in the US don't have phone access, so when you call best buy you have to speak to someone in Idia or the Philippines! The TV was installed the Tuesday. One installer was on time, the other was 45 minutes late. The one that was on time asked me to help him install and I refused. Worst delivery in that I've ever had. The TV picture is ok, but the built-in sound system is just plain terrible! The worst and not what I expected for a TV that retails for $4,700! I would not recommend purchasing from Samsung directly!! They screen reviews and probably will not post this review for other consumers to see the true from a verified purchaser. Of course, Samsung has offered no compensation for the experience I had to go through.

Purchased and delivered end of Sept. Went through all the efforts to calibrate, allowing all of the beauty in the TV to come out. Two days ago, I went to turn it on. NOTHING !!! NO power to the TV! I am thinking ok maybe it needs a reset. Plug, Unplug I call the vendor I bought the TV from. 2 hours of insanity spent on the phone. The last conversation was if it is still not working in the morning, call Samsung. I called 7 minutes after I hung up. THAT EXPERIENCE WAS EVEN WORSE. It's Sat 0530 am 21 DEC 2024, and the bottom line is no one can come before the 26th of Dec. I am in a BAD way this Xmas, No TV, NO NBA, NO NFL, nothing. SAMSUNG, I have purchased my last five televisions from your brand because I enjoy the project. The television has been in my possession for less than 90 Days, HOW do we FIX this ???? I purchased another 1 connect TV because I enjoy this technology. Three months, and it's dead in the water. Add insult to injury, the TV has been significantly reduced in price. I had a technician come out to my house to repair the TV once already and now I am having to request a second repair. This TV must have some sort of design or manufacturing flaw.

I was able to exchange it at Best Buy, but the second unit only lasted five months before experiencing the same issue. When operational, the TV delivers excellent performance; however, many users seem to be facing similar problems. Samsung employs a third-party service called Service Quick, which has proven to be unreliable in addressing these issues. They have made six visits to my home but have been unable to resolve the problems with the TV. Additionally, Samsung has declined to issue a refund, even though I do not wish to receive another replacement, as I am concerned that it would lead to the same outcome. My TV is sitting on my living room floor and pieces because “Samsung techs” refuse to put it back together because they know they are coming back to attempt another repair after many. Considering these experiences, I would advise potential buyers to exercise caution when considering this TV. While it has the potential to be a five-star product when functioning correctly, its lack of reliability and inadequate customer support from both Samsung and the service provider are significant drawbacks. SAMSUNG PLEASE DO BETTER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the matte screen I entered Best Buy thinking I would just get an upgraded LG 4k OLED to replace my 8 year old model, keeping the same 65” size. Then I saw the Samsung 77” OLED with an incredible matte screen option. My TV sits 90 degrees from sliding glass doors that open to the beach, east coast, and the glare is (was) troublesome. Problem solved, with no discernible loss in picture quality or brightness. Only issue is audio, not sure it’s the TV’s fault. Connected wireless to Sonos system, some channels come in way too loud since the switch from LG. No biggie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY - SAMSUNG PARTS FAILURE This TV worked fine for 5 months and then all of a sudden, no power. The One Box failed. Apparently this is a major issue expressed by numerous people on the forums and Samsung has not taken any action to issue a recall or proactively fix this. In fact, the replacement One Box ALSO FAILS. I have a dead TV now, luckily it is still under warranty, however, Samsung repair requires the TV to be unmounted for repairs (and they wont pay to do that). Even though the one box is a seperate unit that doesnt require the TV to be unmounted. Samsung needs to take ownership of this systemic issue and handle all repairs including any unmounting. I worry if they newer models after S95D have the same issue. Not Reliable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, unless the circuit board explodes Love my Samsung TV, not a huge fan of the native OS so I run a Google TV with eARC out to my DAC. Audio quality is great and I love it matte screen. However a few months into owning it the tv completely died and the red indicator light wouldn't turn on. Samsung support had to come out and replace the board on the one connect box. Crazy for this to happen on a $3k+ USD TV, Samsung needs to up their quality control when my previous Samsung I had for 10 years with no issues.

The "One Connect Box" has a defect and they quite manufacturing for them foe The S95D. I have been without a TV for two weeks and waiting to be picked up to get my refund because Samsung could not find repair for my area. Probably minimum two more weeks for my refund. So disappointed. Samsung in my opinion should refund the amount a new would cost and not penalize for discounts when purchased.

The colors are distinct and tremendously better than my previous Samsung TV. I do not do gaming but am enjoying the picture quality on the programming I do watch. The sound bar I already had was a plus. Do recommend the unit.

TV is in a two-story family room with lots of Windows which prevented me from getting an OLED before because of the mirror like finish. Hate seeing reflections of Lights of any kind. This TV is amazing for everything I needed to do. Colors are amazing and I get comments with a wow that looks beautiful. Of course unbelievable viewing angles great for watching the Super Bowl an impressing friends and neighbors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worthless TV This TV is worthless. I purchased it in December 2024 and prior to two months of ownership the power supply went out. I had it replaced with the same model. Once again after a little more than two months the power supply went out again on the replacement tv. After this I replaced this tv with a different brand. This is a known issue with this tv as the installers told me this model is replaced/exchanged more than any other tv they sell/install. It’s worthless, so do not purchase this model.

The picture is great when I can actually use the tv. The sound can be a little better. I like the anti glare however I will never purchase an expensive tv. I didn’t have any issues with the cheaper ones. At this point just take the tv back and give me a credit please

Brand new almost 4 thousand dollar tv and its missing the retaining clip on back of tv for the oneconnect cable - we had to have the tv delivered and then wait for install...... that clip is missing. Samsung is now telling me FOR A SINGLE PLASTIC CLIP that I have to purchase it instead of just sending me one. On a $4000 TV. Terrible customer service. Will not buy another Samsung product again.

I went with the S95D because of the anti-glare screen. My old TV the reflections were too intrusive. The anti-glare screen does raise the black levels on a dark scene but is more visible than the straight reflections on my old TV. The TV is incredibly bright and vivid even in the daytime with the anti-glare coating to the point where you don't notice. At night the blacks are perfect and the colors are great.

A short cable that measures around 1ft and a long cable that measure around 6ft. Both are short for my application which defeats the purpose of the One Connect Box. Now info on these lengths anywhere before you buy. The long cables available online are not compatible with the new OLED TVs. As a side note, the Tizen OS is terrible. Lots of ads videos that pop up while I am working on the settings menu. Somehow slow for a new expensive TV. I ended add with turning off the internet connection from the TV and use a TV box instead - another cost to consider.

First it uses a small amazon style firestick remote and it starts up on a samsung app before going to a live channel. Seems super redundant. The tiny remote is EASILY eaten by the couch. We dont need super smart tvs with apps opening before live tv. The picture is unreal...really the best available right now on the market. But.. Come on Samsung

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV...When It Works. Poor Customer Service The Good: Absolutely the best picture I have seen on a TV. It is truly stunning. The anti-glare coating is also amazing; no noticeable impact to brightness. I have the TV in a well-lit room, and I have no complaints with brightness - I was concerned, since OLED tend not to be as bright as LEDs, but this TV is very bright. The Bad: TV stopped working after a couple of weeks. I filed a warranty request with Samsung. It took a week for the service folks to come out, spend the morning replacing various components within the OneConnect Box, and ultimately decide they need to order another part and come back. Even then, it may still not work. So, here I am, with a premium TV laying against the living room wall, not working. It will soon be sitting there broken longer than it worked. I am very disappointed with Samsung's Customer Service. If they want to try to diagnose the issue (for QA purposes), fix, and sell refurbished, they can absolutely do that...on their time, but to leave me with a broken (premium) TV for weeks is shockingly unacceptable. (Also - the service folks had my wife and I unmount the TV. They watched as we struggled, for "liability reasons", to do it ourselves. Absolutely ridiculous). For this reason, I can't say I recommend the TV. If you end up with a dud...good luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, Horrible Support from Samsung and RXO D I recently purchased the [Samsung Model] TV and while the TV itself is great, my experience with Samsung's customer support and their delivery partner, RXO, has been incredibly disappointing. Delivery Issues: The TV delivery was delayed three times, leaving me without a living room TV for weeks. Despite these inconveniences, Samsung only provided a nominal $75 coupon code as compensation. Damage During Installation: RXO, the delivery partner, damaged the drywall and studs during installation. They failed to pre-drill before inserting lag bolts for the TV mount, causing significant damage to the 2x4 studs behind the drywall. Now, I'm dealing with the hassle of finding a contractor to provide an estimate for repairs, which is an additional headache I didn't anticipate. Customer Support Frustrations: When I reached out to Samsung to discuss the damage and explore options for returning the TV, I was met with more frustration. Instead of assisting with the damage claim, the representative went ahead and initiated the return process without my consent. This resulted in the cancellation of my included 2-year Care+ protection plan. Despite numerous calls and being bounced between customer support and the Care+ team, I have received conflicting information and have been unable to reinstate the Care+ plan without an exorbitant additional cost of $699. This is unacceptable, especially considering my clear intention to keep the TV and resolve the installation issues separately. Conclusion: As a longtime loyal supporter of Samsung products, I am deeply saddened and disappointed by this experience. The lack of coordination between departments and the disregard for customer preferences has left me with significant inconvenience and financial burden. Resolution Sought: I urge Samsung to address these issues promptly and comprehensively. This includes covering the cost of repairs for the damage caused by RXO, reinstating my original 2-year Care+ plan as initially promised, and improving their customer support processes to prevent similar issues in the future. In conclusion, while the Samsung TV itself is of high quality, the overall experience has been marred by inadequate support and poor handling of delivery and customer service issues. I hope my feedback prompts necessary improvements and ensures a better experience for future customers.

I contacted Samsung beforehand and they stated delivery and installation same day. They “guarantee it” per Samsung representative. Bought the tv, waited for delivery. Rxo calls to confirm date, also states they should be able to deliver and install. Date comes, they deliver tv to inside front door, basically a man and a teenage kid, states they do not install at all, and it is Angi who I need to call. So I call angi and they state they charge for installation service for Samsung. So I then call Samsung again, and they said rxo will call me. Wait few more days, rxo calls and says to set up for installation but the guy not sure if they can install into brick on top of fireplace or not, have to check. Waited again. Contacted Samsung again. Same ordeal. Got tired of this crap, paid a professional installer to install and mount the tvs. Advice: just buy the tv from your local electronics store like Best Buy or something with much much much better customer service than Samsung and their “affiliates” can offer. Would return the tv for crappy service if I didn’t have a an event needing the tv soon.

Samsung fixed it but it broke again the very next time I used it. Samsung reassured me that they would send me a brand new tv in 7-21 days but even after over a month of waiting, they somehow can’t find another unit of their flagship television. Even a few weeks is a long time to not have a television. They are now only offering me a store credit, but the store credit is about half the cost to cover the new TV so I would still have to pay for the defective TV that’s under warranty. The most irritating part is that they said they can’t find me the replacement TV but suggested I buy one from their online store. I’m not sure why they can’t just send me a new one if that’s the case. Long story short, I’ve never even been able to watch this tv once and Samsung is not attempting to resolve.

The one issue we have is that despite the salesman telling us that it would be compatible with the Art Cast app to stream artwork on our TV. It was the one feature my wife insisted we have. I called Samsung and was told this TV is not compatible with the Art Cast app as the pixels will burn out or something to that effect. I would like to know if this is really the case or not. Or, if there will be some sort of software update to allow screensaver and Art Cast to work.

January 9 they delivered the new Replacment TV they dropped it off at 0900 the driver said they just deliver, then it was another hassle to get someone to install on the wall. It would come on by its self in the middle of the night when the cabel box re booted. We had to turn off the HDMI-CEC on the TV and the cabel box and so far no more problems.

The TV during both instances is nonfunctional. Its an expensive item to not work properly. Not happy with the performance. When it works its great but they need to fix it, as right out of the box it has not performed well.

The One Connect box is great very easy to organize your devices, although I use an AVR so technically there is only one cable going to the TV. Bit heavier than i would have thought. This TV has good sales also hint call Samsung directly when purchasing they will give you some good bargains, I got like 3 year extended warranty included, that is what sold me over the Sony Screen.

They said there is a problem with this model and they will contact a service company for possible repair. Tried to return to Best Buy but they said can’t return because it’s after the 60 day return period. So here I am waiting 3 weeks for Samsung! We missed the Super Bowl and our shows that are starting the new season. We made a huge mistake purchasing a Samsung. We always bought Sony TV’s. Should have again. Please beware

Both times took at least 5 days to get the part, then get a technician in to fix the device. I do not find a product, that is this expensive that failed twice over a three month period acceptable. Time will tell if the fix, a board replacement, will work for the long haul. I hope it does. The picture is fantastic when it works!

Works well with my meridian 7.1 sound system. Only gripe. Remote leaves much to be desired. Needs to be back-lit and more user friendly. I use a universal remote instead.

I’m so happy we chose this one because our home get a lot of light in the family room and the anti glare screen is the best. Colors are vivid and 4k content looks as if the characters are in the screen. We chose the Sonos sound system which takes the TV and music experience to the next level.

The tv also has anti-glare. We can watch with lights on, or windows open with no unsightly light glare on the tv. Wife states that any further tv purchases will have the anti-glare. Also combined it Samsung soundbar, which enhances the viewing pleasure. Watching The Americas is stunning.

The picture quality is absolutely stunning , vibrant colors, perfect blacks, and incredible contrast thanks to the QD-OLED panel. What sets it apart from other OLEDs is the bright anti-glare screen, which performs exceptionally well even in sunlit rooms. Samsung’s Tizen OS is fast and packed with apps, and the One Connect box keeps cable management clean. The built-in speakers are decent, though pairing it with a good soundbar makes the experience even better. If you're looking for a premium OLED that combines vivid HDR, excellent brightness, and gaming performance, the S95D is worth every penny.

The back button seems to go to strange destinations from the remote. Not sure what that is about. I often wonder why am I am I looking at this when it wasn't the intent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad power box I have been using Samsung products for the best part of the last 20 years or so and have been very pleased, especially with their TV's. This has changed with the new TVs on the market. I usually do a lot of research before buying and typically want the best of the best. This TV was rated as one of the bests last year, so I took the plunge and purchased a 77inch OLED from Samsung and had it delivered via Best Buy. So far it has been an excruciating experience. I have never had a problem with a Samsung TV until this one. We didn’t have the TV mounted a week before it stopped working. No picture, no light, no nothing. It just died. Called tech support and set up an appointment for them to come look at it. Tech support shows up and proceeds to take the back panel off the tv to replace the mother board which did NOT fix the problem. He then replaces the mother board in the power supply box and gets picture. The Tech then reinstalls the TV back panel and we put it on the wall. It has a picture! Then Tech leaves and as I was watching TV, I noticed that there was a half-moon black spot on the lower edge of the TV and low and behold there’s a crack in the screen. Call tech support again and set up an appointment for them to come look at it again. While waiting we started getting the black screen at regular intervals with a red light blinking which is supposed to indicate that it is a power supply issue. Tech support shows up and confirms the screen crack and was authorized to order a screen. Now I am waiting again for tech support. In the meantime, I have a giant screen on my wall that we can use and are paying for. This TV should be replaced, not fixed and for anyone that reads this and the other reviews, skip this TV. This is the worst one I have owned to this point and cannot recommend. We will see what Samsung does to remedy this issue if they even care these days, money talks…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not be happier. I've been looking at a new TV for over a year now. Waited till the new 2025s came out but always had my eye on the S95 series. When the price dropped to $2999 for the 77" and I found out the new S95F of the same size was $4500, I jumped on the S95D. The picture pops, the blacks are awesome, sound is great. Glad I had the option to go with the older model and still have a super awesome picture. Plus, the light diffusing screen goes perfect in my well lit living room. Had so many issues with my last TV because of windows & interior lighting.

Very easy to set up, clarity is great, transitions are smooth, and the best attribute for me is the near total lack of glare! Both from sunlight coming in through windows during the day, and from various lights around the room, glare is no longer an issue! This makes the TV worth the price for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stops working after 14days, really? I ordered this model couple of weeks ago, because it said it had a glare free screen and outstanding picture quality. It turned out to be all that and I would have given it 5stars, however...and I was a little apprehensive at first since many last year reviews mentioned the TV suddenly stopped working and does not turn back on.... exactly that happened to me as well, after exactly 14days. One would think Samsung is able to figure out the problem and fixes it, but apparently not. Surely, waiting for the repair another week is not making it any better. Dear Samsung, this is a fairly expensive device now dead in my living room and I only hope by now the repair crew knows what the issue is and can repair it... because if not, why don't you replace it right away?.. perpetually every two weeks?

We now have the curtains open all day. Instead of seeing window reflections you see a very subtle lightening of the picture. It is not distracting at all. I would definitely recommend this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Service Scheduling Issues Purchased the unit in November 2025 and enjoy the TV, however, the day after the Super Bowl the power supply board in the connect box failed and we were without a TV for most or the remainder of February. Samsung honored their warranty and the TV was repaired. However, the service company contacted by Samsung, Edward’s Appliance Repair while having excellent technicians, were a near complete failure in the area of customer response and scheduling. Their text based scheduling system is atrocious. One of the worst experiences we have had. Samsung did not help, however since their parts are similarly named and the attempt at repair was not completed due to wrong part brought to the site.

Tv was on my wall for 6 days and it burnt out ! 6 days , I called to schedule a appointment and nobody spoke enough English to even confirm my service appointment !!!! I had to wait over 14 days for someone to come out to fix this brand new 77 inch tv , so I returned it on top of the waiting games I tried my harder at to get someone at Samsung to give me a discount for a warranty since I was now concerned about the future of this set !! Nobody would help me they sent me on a gauntlet of different call centers for everyone to tell me no way !! I had the worst experience ever , fyi Samsung every tv in my house is a Samsung , and I will reconsider your brand the next time we upgrade !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too early for a legitimate review. We mostly bought this particular model, the S95D over the S90D to get the non-glare screen and that works very very well. The One-Connect is a really nice feature. In our case our TV is mounted on the wall and in front of 2 floating walnut panels. The cables run up behind the panels so that they are hidden. With only one cable the task of hanging our 77" unit on the wall was easier than with the previous 6~7 cables that were going to the 65" TV that this one replaced. Past that it is way way to early to be giving a legitimate review of performance and reliability. This TV has been in use for 4 days. But so far we are very happy with the what we are seeing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not ready for Prime Time I have 7 TV's in my house. All of them Samsung products. I needed a new TV and bought the Samsung 77" OLED S94D. It's an expensive TV. It didn't last a month before the box that contains the software (separate from the TV) blew. Under warranty, the TV was replaced and a month later the second box blew. That was enough, I returned the TV and bought a 77" LG OLED and have had no problems. Cannot recommend this Samsung product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s Junk I bought this very expensive TV in Dec 2024. It stopped working Feb 2025. After several calls to everyone, we finally got a technician sent to our house. He said the power board had went out and I assume it’s fairly common as they are on back order with no ETA. So, here we are with a gaint, very expensive piece of junk sitting in my living room with no apparent estimated time until it can be fixed. I would hope that Samsung offers to give us a refund to make this right, but we all know this won’t happen. I have been using Samsung TVs for the last 20 years and I hate that we are now here: Avoid this product as it’s not reliable.

Tech's came out and didn't have the part initially so came back several days later which put the TV out of commission for about a week. Not what you want for a TV that costs this much. I have had 2 technicians who replaced the mother board and power cord. They said it is "not fixable". Then, I contacted Samsung to see if they may be willing to stand by their product and give me at least a reduced price for a new one. They did nothing. I had an LG fridge that died after 2 years. The warranty expired, but they still gave me a 1,000 voucher to go toward my next fridge. Purchased July 2023

We mounted it over a fireplace, and placed the One Connect box in a cabinet to hide it. After 3 weeks, the power supply went bad and blew my circuit. We had a great experience with support who came and replaced the board. However, 3 weeks later, it happened again - the same thing. Not knowing what else to do, we installed a fan and thermostat so the cabinet isn't allowing the OneConnect to get too hot?? We're not sure if this will fix the issue, but would have been nice to know this would be an issue. So far, it hasn't failed again (we're about 6 weeks since the 2nd service visit).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avoid Samsung S95D - Breaks and TERRIBLE support Let me start by advising those looking at the S95D or any other high end/premiere Samsung TV's to look at other brands. I purchased an S95D in December. It worked great until 2 months ago when it would not turn on the following day. No standby light, nothing... dead! Reached out to Samsung who advised me they would make a service appt. That was about a month and a half ago and the service appt still has not happened. The place that services TV's has called to cancel appts 3 times and I'm still waiting for another appt to be rescheduled. When you search problems with the TV this is a common problem and most people require a new TV, but it sounds like it often dies again. Trying to work with Samsung customer support is very frustrating, as the associates all have very thick accents and are tough to understand with broken English. Regardless of how great the TV is when it works, you'll have a nightmare to deal with if something goes wrong. I now have a $4000+ TV that is useless and no one to repair or replace it. As I said in the subject, avoid all high end/premiere Samsung TV's. My other TV I a 55" Samsung frame that's 3yrs old. It continually shuts off/on when anything is attached to the HDMI ports. Again, Samsung was no help at all!

I bought it at Best Buy, and if I have been there once, I have been there 5 times, and they finally told me the TV isn't able to perform certain functions. It's a $ 4,000 TV, and it's like my old TV from 2015. I have to use two remotes and tasks that a friend's TV supports, but my exact TV doesn't. There is not no support

Again in July 2025 same issue would not power on. I thought Samsung was quality. This is a reoccurring issue with this model . On top of all this they have eliminated extended care thru Samsung because of all the claims.. Meaning you get one year warranty for a product that they know is in total defect .. They know this product is crap and in 6 month they have lowered the price by 1000.00 .

There is only one authorized repair shop in NJ area for TV of 77 inch size for NJ. Really difficult to reach them. Technician came after 2 weeks and told that the entire panel needs to be replaced and is scheduled to do the service next week. Looked nice while it worked. Really horrible experience when it broke down.

First one was bought from bestbuy and it would not even turn on straight out of the box. Back it went. Bought one from Samsung that lasted less than 4 months. Samsung support is a joke. It took almost a month for Samsung to get me a replacement. Samsung VIP advantage is a joke don’t waste your time or money.

Like when you click settings while playing a movie, it's slow. Also, picture quality when I connect my mac to it , is not as good as when it is from the TV app e.g. Netflix. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broke twice , can’t fix, can’t replace This TV has failed twice. The first one took a week to repair the second failure took several months and they still couldn’t fix it. They finally decide to replace it , but four weeks later they changes their minds and couldn’t replace it. Decided to give me refund but here I sit two more weeks later, still no refund. It’s been months. I haven’t been able to watch TV on it.

The picture quality is breathtaking — deep, inky blacks, vibrant but natural colors, and HDR that makes every scene pop without looking artificial. Whether I'm watching classic films or modern blockbusters, everything looks crisp, immersive, and beautifully balanced. It handles dark scenes perfectly and still looks amazing in a bright room thanks to the new anti-glare screen. Motion is smooth, details are razor-sharp, and even upscaled older content looks surprisingly good. I paired it with a soundbar, but honestly, the built-in speakers are decent for casual viewing. This TV brings out the full magic of cinema — it feels like a premium theater right in my living room. If you love movies, this one’s a no-brainer.

The OLED panel delivers stunning picture quality with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent brightness that makes movies, sports, and gaming feel lifelike. Streaming in 4K looks razor-sharp, and gaming benefits from smooth motion and low input lag. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the interface can sometimes feel a little laggy, but it always catches up quickly and doesn’t affect the overall experience. Once content is playing, performance is flawless. Overall, this TV combines impressive picture quality with great features, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium OLED experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome purchase ! I am in awe of how this tv does in a bright room. The picture quality is 2nd to none, and the sound is not as bad as I expected, but pretty good. Family movie nights are definitely a major event now in our house hold. It’s just awesome all around, streaming, up scaling , and the gaming is out of this world. Extremely happy with my choice/purchase. Definitely telling all my friends how happy I am with this model.

The power supply was defective and stopped working.Now I have a 77 inch black box that does not work and to TV to watch. Called to get service it took 2 and half week to get a tech to change the power supply.It was boken as long as I own it.

After the TV was installed and we turned it on, I was amazed by the quality of the picture. The no glare screen prevents any shiny spots on the screen. It has an incredible picture and sound. 4K is like you are in the picture. The screen is ultra thin, but we choose not to wall mount it. It hasca special box everything plugs into, then one wire goes to the TV. It is perfect for all types of viewing, made documentaries, gaming and regular Tzv. It has its own 125 channel streaming app built in and watching it is free! Best electronic purchase I have ever made!

I already have an LG G4 OLED, which I thought was unbeatable, but ever since I set up the S95D, it’s become the TV I find myself watching the most. It’s that rare piece of tech that doesn’t just impress you — it pulls you in. The first thing that grabbed me was the brightness. This thing is unreal in a well-lit room. My LG G4 still looks amazing in darker environments, but the S95D’s new anti-glare coating is a total game-changer. It’s the first OLED I can actually watch in the middle of the day without closing blinds or fighting reflections. It stays vibrant, contrasty, and crystal clear no matter what’s going on around it. Picture quality? Absolutely jaw-dropping. Samsung’s QD-OLED panel delivers colors that feel alive — reds and blues pop like neon, but never look overdone. It’s the kind of picture where you pause a movie just to stare. Compared to the Sony A95L, I honestly can’t say it’s “missing” anything. The S95D’s motion handling feels a bit snappier, gaming features are better integrated, and the input lag is so low it almost feels like cheating. And when I hook up my PS5 or Xbox, the HDR tone mapping is pure perfection — bright highlights with shadow detail that doesn’t crush or fade. If you’re torn between the LG G4, Sony A95L, or this — the S95D hits the perfect balance between all of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broken Tv ’m very disappointed with this Samsung product. After only six months, it completely stopped working and won’t turn on. For something that costs this much, that’s unacceptable. What’s even more frustrating is the repair process. I reported the issue on Saturday, and now I’m being told I’ll have to wait an entire week just for a technician to show up. The certified service company doesn’t seem to treat it as a priority, and Samsung hasn’t offered any quicker solution. For such an expensive product, I expected far better reliability and customer service. Waiting this long for basic support is not what you’d expect from a premium brand. Overall, this has been a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this product to anyone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Died twice in first 3 months and needed repair 2x Using TV to stream TV, movies, sports and watch BluRay movies. TV picture is fantastic when its working. TV has died 2x in three months. 1st time was a board problem inside the TV. 2nd time was blow fuse in Slim One Connect Box. This is my second Samsung with the Slim One Connect Box that I purchased and both have problems. My 1st Samsung with Slim One Connect Box will not correctly play anything plugged into the HDMI ports such as steaming device or DVD player (the higher the resolution the worse the picture and sound gets and is unwatchable). Works great as long as I only use built in TV apps. In short, One Connect Box is a large power supply because non of the HDMI ports work so I moved it into my bedroom and purchased a new one for my living room. That one has died twice in the 1st three months. These will be my last Samsung TVs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This products picture is the best i have ever seen Originally I was hesitant about purchasing the Samsung S95D since it did not come with dolby vision like my previous OLED TVs from LG (C3) and Sony. However, I am glad i purchased this TV for it is the best quality picture I have ever seen on an OLED. The picture quality, along with the resolution and beautiful array of colors makes watching movies, shows, and gaming that much more of an experience. The AI features that the TV uses to upscale work great and I have had zero issues. The user interface is very useable, and allows me to use all the apps I want - even allows for streaming Xbox games from the cloud without using my Xbox console. Whenever i choose to upgrade in the future, I believe Samsung will be at the top of the list. I fully recommend this TV!!!!!!!!

The board is only warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. We bought a top of the line sound bar and are disappointed with the sound volume level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When it works Within a first couple of months, the one connect box stopped working. It was replaced under warranty. Now it appears to the one connect box went out again, just barely days out of a warranty. And being snowbirds we haven’t used it that much. So I’m kind of getting a running around to get the one connect box replaced under warranty.
