The best mid range OLED on the market by FAR
This TV. Is amazing …. A huge step up from the s90c …. The processor is huge step up I don’t think I have seen this big of an upgrade from a processor of a 2 year old tv from any tv I have owned …. I had all types of issues with motion and flickering with my s90c that is all gone now … the brightness is another huge step up and I recently owned the lg g4 for a short period and rivals that brightness …. I don’t like the matte screen or I would have gotten the s95f but this QD-OLED is amazing

Absolutely loving the new Samsung S90F OLED! The picture is insanely good — super deep blacks, vibrant colors, and great brightness even in daylight. Movies and games look amazing, and it handles fast action really smoothly.

Brilliant color
It's a great television enjoy it at my house. The plan was to buy an Xbox after my wife picked her new TV. I went with her told her that I wanted the s90f she liked it as well. Brought it home and found out Game Pass is available app as are many others. I didn't even have to buy an Xbox best deal of the century. I actually think Game Pass run so smooth even better than on my computer.

Disappointed With Flickering on a Brand New TV
I purchased this TV with high expectations, but it started flickering on the left side of the screen the very first day. The vertical flickering is noticeable and makes it difficult to enjoy the picture. A new TV should not have this kind of issue immediately after setup. I expected a problem-free experience, so this has been very frustrating.

My wife and I went tv shopping at Best Buy. We were confused , OLED or QLED , the best buy salesman was not very helpful. We decided to leave , get some lunch, we decided to go back to best buy and get the OLED S90F. The best decision ever, great for watching movies and sporting events. Good tv, with some catches
Good TV overall, would prefer of the it had more responsive interface, easier way to select source. I do love the remote, but voice search through bixby is not something useful. Anyway, samsung need to make sure it setup bixby on tv to look for tv content , sometimes it struggle to understand that im not looking for web results or youtube videos.
The cable connections should not be hidden, hope they can figure out a way to make it easier to connect input cables even when TV mounted on the wall. It is a shame I have to unmount if i need to change a cable or anything.
Also the TV does very poorly if you connect it to a streamer. I had google streamer abd the picture was so bad, in all aspects, color, motion handling, contrast. Took me a while to figure out that actually I should watch through the TV system directly. Which is a shame- considering I would 100% prefer Google TV interface.

Software is fast. Picture quality is amazing. The Ai for sound with a sound bar and sub is crazy how much better it sounds. It knows when you are watching a movie and makes it sound like full surround sound. Blacks are completely black.

Awesome overall TV. Got it on sale for a decent price as well. The OLED panel really accentuates the colors and to he honest some seem more saturated than others, which i think could be a settings issue with which I am still tinkering with. The TV works well with any game systems and you get that sweet 120 fps as well. Some issues I have is the TV doesnt like to switch inputs when using console commands, as I mentind earlier some colors seem more saturated than others and the interface location although nice leaves cables going down the wall if mounted on one.

Okay let's just start off with this is probably one of the best TVs I've ever owned! The picture quality is amazing The lag is amazing with no lag at all Love watching football games streaming on this TV is amazing. I would absolutely buy this again The brightness is amazing. And I have it in a really sunny room. There is no glare at all. My kids and I love watching movies on this TV. I would totally recommend this TV.

Got this as a gift for my mom and she prefers this over her 85" from another 4k TV brand but led backlit.
The overall picture quality is noticeably better in terms color accuracy, which somehow makes the picture look sharper and smoother during motion or when displaying slow cinematic scenes.
This TV also alerts her when her laundry is done or if she happened to not fully close her fridge door which are also Samsung devices. Looking to upgrade mine to a current OLED or even Neo QLED soon!

I love how bright and vibrant the screen portrays videos. No lag. Mirroring my phone is a breeze. The quality is super crisp with dark blacks even during the day. Settings are super easy to navigate. Built in bixby AI assistant allows for use of voice commands for changing channels or increasing volume without needing to have remote in hand. Even low resolution videos are transformed to fit on this high resolution screen.

washed face/oversaturated red issue on s90f 77" tv
I bought this TV and it was delivered Monday 2/23. For 2 days it worked great and was beautiful. I calibrated to the Rtings settings for both HDR and SDR content. Wednesday night i was watching a movie on prime HDR10+ and i noticed the colors were really off with orange and red being obnoxiously loud, especially around the face and lips. I tried other apps and it was happening there too. I found a few threads and tried the full turn off and on by holding the power button, didnt work. I factory reset and that did the trick. Now i am paranoid when watching that it will keep reoccuring based on other people with the issue. For how much money i just spent on this TV this seems unacceptable. It is apparently a known firmware issue/bug and not a TV issue. Has samsung said if they are going to be releasing an update to fix this Bug? It looks like it has been around for close to a year now. I am on the newest firmware and this a brand new TV...

The picture quality is unparalleled, the brightness is doesn’t ever seem inadequate. The contrast is also mostly there. The picture is sharp and smooth. I have not seen AI upscaling closely but seems like it works really well too.

Great screen, for three days.
I'd be glad to update this review as this situation unfolds. Right out of the box, I loved the software, streaming, and the brightness of the screen. It is clearly a much higher quality TV than the Crystal UHDs I've had in the past. The price reflects that difference too, and it's the most expensive TV I've bought. I'm also a big fan of Samsung products, as all of our mobile devices, TVs, and monitors are Samsung products.
However, only 3 days after installing the TV, the left side started flickering in a four-inch vertical strip. I've contacted warranty services and am hoping to get this resolved quickly. We had to wait a week to get an in-home appointment scheduled, as taking it down and out of the house is more than I'd like to do. It is a large TV!
We're hoping for the best, communication has been good, and I've been able to submit the needed information easily.

Great OLED TV, improved Tizen OS few issues
I am fascinated with my first ever OLED TV. I chose S90F out of recommendations from RTINGS. I immediately noticed these improvements over my older 2021/22 QLED Samsung TVs:
1) Much brighter, sharp and outstanding brilliance in dark room
2) Much better and faster/improved Tizen OS
3) Lots if bells and whistles. However, I only wanted to use it as a display for my Apple TV
The cons include:
1) Out of the box color calibration was incorrect specially for faces that looked orange. I needed to google for it and luckily found a way to fix the HDR color issue after attempting a custom gamut setting to BT.2020 and even a factory reset
2) The factory reset muted my Dolby audio from my Apple TV. Only recourse for now was to set it to Stereo. I am confident that TVOS 24.4 and/or a future Samsung update beyond 1203 should fix this one

Amazing Samsung S90F 77" OLED!
This TV is absolutely amazing! The 77 inch screen is perfect and the picture quality is outstanding! Coming from a 65 inch plasma to a 77 inch OLED takes a little getting used to due to the brightness and contrast but after watching some of my favorite shows and movies the picture detail on the OLED is by far the best that I've ever seen. The picture is super smooth and the upscaling is really nice. I can honestly say that this is one of if not the best OLED TV on the market today!

Great colors, awful panel coating
I was super excited to get this TV as the centerpiece of my living room. Set up was quick and easy, and the contrast and color saturation of the panel is great. However, the screen coating on the QD-OLED panel is absolutely awful, it is the most fragile coating I have seen on any consumer product. Not mentioned in many reviews is just how fragile this coating it is. Any spec of dirt on a microfiber cloth, a quick glance of a fingernail, or worst of all a curious cat.
I have had many TVs before this, and none of the screen coatings were as fragile as this. In super dark environments the scratches are not noticeable at all, but in even indirect room light, the scratches are super visible when displaying dark content. Unless you can guarantee nothing ever touches the screen, I would recommend getting a non-QDOLED panel/TV.

Life changing home theater upgrade
I’ve been using the 77-inch S90F daily and the picture quality is excellent. Brightness is strong for an OLED and HDR highlights really pop. Contrast is what you want from OLED, deep blacks with great shadow detail. Sharpness in 4K content looks clean and natural. Upscaling does a great job with lower-resolution streaming, keeping faces and text clear. Motion is smooth in sports and fast action with minimal blur.

Upscaling 1080p is near identical to native 4k when streaming. Game mode delivers a fantastic experience when using Xbox or PC. The brightness and contrast levels that this panel can produce easily make it a great TV for bright rooms. The AI enchaned sharpness and smoothness makes it exceptional when gaming or watching sports, I don't think I've ever been able to see the puck so clearly while watching hockey. If you were lucky enough to see this TV on display in store next to its price competitors you will see that it easily outclasses anything in the price range.

Great picture, subpar remote.
The picture of this TV is great. The blacks are very deep and not faded out. The only issue I have is the remote control. The remote is small and does not have backlit buttons. I found it is hard to see the buttons when the lights are low and I have to turn on a light to see it.
I have tried to connect to a universal remote (Sofabaton U2) but this TV model is not in their programming library. I tried to get the remotes to "Learn" from each other and this also did not work. I contacted Samsung and asked if they have a universal remote with backlit buttons that will work with this TV and was told they do not. Samsung, please give the programming info to third party universal remote manufacturers so we can use a better remote control.

Don’t buy this TV
This TV’s quality of picture in low light scenes is beyond bad. Movies and some TV shows that have low light scenes are barely visible on this set. To be clear, you can’t even make out the people in the scene or anything else in it. I purchased 2 sets for my house and returning both of them. We watch TV in a darker room and thought that the OLED would be best. I guess I was mistaken! I am checking into QLED or may just revert back to using my 10 year old sets that had perfect pictures still. I have always been a Samsung user for my TV’s and am very disappointed in this set.

Only issue I have is that it is too difficult to clean the screen even with the lightest touch and best practices, even a light fingerprint smudge is difficult to clear. It leaves an after mark which takes time to clear. Screen should not be that sensitive or difficult to clean

We have two identical TVs. One in Scottsdale and one in San Diego. We bought the first 77" TV in Scottsdale. Then we replaced our new 65" TV in San Diego with the same 77" model we have in Scottsdale.

The TV is superb in all ramifications!
I would have truly regretted it if I hadn’t purchased the 77" S90F OLED TV. This TV outperforms every other set I’ve seen in brightness, sharpness, and color accuracy. The picture quality is flawless, with no visible blemishes at all. Choosing the 77" model was absolutely the right decision, and to be honest, I fell in love with this TV.
It made our family Christmas celebration extra special—we enjoyed watching the Hollywood Christmas Parade and the Disneyland show together. It was well worth the investment, especially thanks to Samsung’s sales promotion. No regrets at all. Samsung really got this one right.

Display and resolution
I purchased a 77” tv model FAFXZA 4K OLED. I am not getting the same resolution at home as compared to what I saw in the store.Tried adjusting the brightness and contrast but didn’t observe much change. I do have Dish network box hooked up to the tv. I looked for ways to download Dish network app so that I could compare output from the Dish box with streaming but the option doesn’t exist to download the app.

Exceptional Picture w/HORRIBLE TV Stand and Remot
I reviewed third-party TV ratings, which are a great starting point; however, I feel your eyes should be the determining factor when purchasing a new TV, so I visited my local BestBuy and compared Sonys, Samsungs, and TCLs. In my opinion, the Sony Bravia 8 II has one of the best pictures on the market, but curiously, the screen sizes are only available in 55" and 65", and it comes at a steep price (I was able to purchase a 77" S90F for less than the price of a 65" Bravia 8 II).
The Samsung S90F has an AMAZING picture that is brighter than the Bravia 8 II, which is an important factor if you want an OLED in a bright room. The upscaling is superior, and this was a factor I did not consider when I purchased my new TV (some TVs do not handle lower quality images well, and the picture quality can suffer greatly). In-store, I didn't notice a big difference in picture quality between the S95F, S90F, S85F; however, the S90 Series is considerably brighter than the S80 Series. Gaming is great on the TV and there is little to no lag when switching between devices. With limited interaction, the Google interface feels speedy; however, we use an Apple TV. Lastly, I was able to purchase a 77" S90F for less than the price of a 65" Bravia 8 II (around Black Friday).
The TV stand is ABYSMAL!!! To install the stand, I had to lay the TV screen on a soft surface, hoping I would not break or scratch the screen (shout out to Sony, which allows stand installation while the TV is still in the packaging). The TV stand is made of cheap plastic, attaching to the TV via plastic posts, and is ultimately held in place by the weight of the TV (NO SCREWS). Additionally, the plastic TV stand did not easily secure to the TV, requiring some finagling, in hopes of properly securing it. I still worry that my new TV will come crashing down in the middle of the night. Ultimately, this is not the quality or ingenuity I would expect from a premium Samsung product.
A few other things to consider about the TV stand: it is centered in the middle of the TV, and it does not have a height adjustment (Sony), so depending on your setup, this could interfere with your soundbar placement (I personally prefer TV stands on each end of the TV to accommodate soundbars).
Lastly, I find the remote small, cheap, and lacking functionality; however, it does have a solar panel on the back to keep the battery charged. Possibly due to my age, I greatly appreciate larger remotes that are backlit with several button functions (Example: TCL QM7K remote), and I would expect an intuitive and functional remote on a premium Samsung TV.
Pros:
- Amazing picture (Great for movies, sports, & gaming)
- Very bright for an OLED
- Superior upscaling
- Pretty good value for a large (77”) premium TV
Negatives:
- ATROCIOUS TV Stand
- Small Remote with Minimal Functionality
- Remote is not backlit
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the picture quality of the S90F and feel it offered a good value at this price point. Additionally, my issues may not translate to most uses, especially if you are mounting the TV and plan on using a different remote. I give this TV a 5.0 for picture quality and responsiveness; 0.0 for the TV stand construction and installation; and 1.0 for remote quality and ingenuity. Hopefully, in the future, Samsung will pay closer attention to the smaller details that would give their products a premium look and feel, specifically, the TV stand quality and installation.

A True Cinematic Experience at Home
I recently bought the Samsung S90F 77 inch OLED TV and I’m honestly blown away. The picture quality is incredible. Colors are vibrant, blacks are super deep, and everything looks sharp and smooth, especially during movies and sports. The screen size feels cinematic without being overwhelming.
It also looks beautiful in the room with its slim design, and the smart features are fast and easy to use. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a premium big screen experience.

Best TV I've ever bought
Every color 'pops' with little to no glare and the brightest picture I've seen. Even my wife immediately noticed the HUGE upgrade in picture from our the LED tv the S90F replaced. The picture is just as amazing when I'm playing my Xbox Series One too! Worth every penny!!

Wait for movies daily shows it looks concerning and it’s really slim. You can really tell that it’s a TV when you mounted it correctly onto the wall it just looks really nice.

Best Price-to-Performance
Upgrading from a Sony KD-70X690E to the 77” Samsung S90F is a night-and-day difference. After thorough research, it is the best price-to-performance by far! The QD OLED panel delivers colors that actually feel alive. HDR impact, gaming etc. and it is bright enough for my living room during the day while delivering a cinema feel at night.

Burst of color
We have a lot of windows In our front room and the TV is very easy to see and view we have purchased Samsung televisions most of our adult life a few years ago we switched to a different brand one time and it was just not the same. We just purchased a new 77 inch
Samsung television because the colors are so vivid and bright. Samsung is by far the best TV I’ve ever owned. I will never switch again.

Great features and image, but problem with audio
The TV is great. Really sharp. On close-up of the news, you can tell that the anchor may be wearing too much make up or is about to need a shave. Never seen anything like that before.
Very happy for the most part. However, the lip movement and sound are not often synchronized. I follow the instructions and fix it for a while, then when I change channels, the problem comes back.

Excellent TV, very easy to set up if you follow the set up Gide. Picture is the best I have ever seen and if a better signal or resolution is available you get a box asking if you want to change, and the picture is improved.

Great picture but slow complicated UI.
Beautiful picture but the user interface is slow. Existing out of apps and going back home takes too long. Also has a complex user interface. It can be difficult to change sources. And finding apps to install. Menus seem complicated and difficult to navigate and find what your looking for. Also this tv does not control my samsung 4k Blu-ray player via hdmi like my older samsung did. Im still very happy with thus tv but my 8year old samsung still navigates faster

77 inch S90F
I have a very dark room and I was contemplating between the S90F and the S95F. Since the S95F is brighter I went with the S90F. I am very glad that I did. If you have a brighter room, I would highly recommend the S95F. As far as the darker rooms like mine, I definitely suggest you save the money and go with the S90F.

Deep dark black colors
This will be our 7th Samsung TV over the passed 15 years and this one by far has had the best picture. Its our first OLED but others that we've had has typically been there top end models. The blacks are dark inky black and the overall smoothness and sharpness has been excellent. Overall we've been very happy with the TV.

This is the most amazing TV I’ve ever seen!!!!!
We are thrilled with our new 77” OLED. We’ve never seen such brightness, brilliant colors, sharpness, contrast and clarity ! I knew I wanted this TV as soon as I saw it in the store. My husband was equally impressed and we are delighted with our purchase.
