Samsung has disappointed me for the last time.
I bought this tv less than two years ago, and about a week ago it shut off while my wife and I were watching it. Now the TV will no longer power back on and Samsung is not helping us at all. I have called multiple times for assistance because the website sends me in a loop while attempting to request repairs. After trying to speak with numerous associates of whom I could barely understand as their english was very poor, I was finally told to find my own repair person and that my warranty is expired so they will not be covering any of the repairs. I will not be purchasing any products from Samsung going forward. I say this because My wife and I spent over $16k on Samsung appliances when we remodelled our kitchen. When the time comes to replace those items, we will be purchasing from a different manufacturer. Don't buy this TV unless you plan to spend the extra money for the overpriced warranty. Buy a Sony instead.

Broke Twice in 6 months.
I bought this tv 6 months ago. It broke two months in. Power supply issue. Took two weeks for them to send someone out to fix it. Even the samsung technician said going forward to only buy LG since new samsung models have fallen behind and have multiple issues. Since it was repaired three months later it broke down again with power cycling issues. After talking to three separate reps they all said I was out of my three month warranty. I sent them the file showing I was in a twelve month warranty but they're still fighting back on fixing the issue. I would not recommend buying this tv or anything else new from samsung until they fix issues going forward. Its says a lot about a company when they wont back their products. Even more when their technicians are saying going elsewhere with new models.

Terrible after sales service. After 2 years, TV stopped turning on. Contacted Samsung, and the service providers who they suggested are charging 140$ even before making an appointment. Samsung associate with a better service provider for after sales issues.

DISAPPOINTED!!! TV broke down after a year.
This is my 4th Samsung TV. I bought this TV last year, and it broke down 2 days after my warranty expired. One connect box makes clicking noise and the screen won’t turn on. I went on call with Samsung rep, tried few troubleshooting steps, nothing worked. Now I’m just going in circles with Samsung customer reps, with them hanging up on me.
Save yourself the trouble, and looking for other brands. Samsung is not what it used to be!!!

This TV runs games amazing in 8K
Currently have my computer hooked up to the TV running in 8k with my RTX 4090.
All the newest games I run in 8k on max settings don't usually go above 60 fps which is what the refresh rate tops out at in 8k mode, so it works out great for me. I honestly didn't think I would be able to tell a difference from 4k to 8k but it makes a HUGE difference now that I've gotten to know it. Never going back down 4k as long as I can.

My tv broke within 2 months of purchase worst experince ever. Tv is not turning on anymore. It just died and red led is also not coming up at all. Even though this in within warrenty their service is very poor. Technician shows up but they could not fix the issue. It is been 10 days my TV is sitting like dead. I am calling them, but their standard reply they do not have the parts and they do not know when my TV will be fixed. I think now samsung is not holding their quality anymore. I will never buy their TV anymore.

BUYER BEWARE
Garbage tv made by a garbage company. DO NOT BUY 8K it’s not ready. Received this tv as a replacement for a 2022 model, which was repaired/replaced twice, and now this TV has died. TV just turns it self on and off and is unusable. The tv was manufactured in August 2023 but will not be warrantied because they are reverting back to the original purchase date. I’m not looking for a warranty repair on a 2 yr old tv I’m asking for warranty repair for a tv less that 12 months old. After an hour chat and phone 2.5h of phone calls I was told twice that it would be warrantied, but now I received a call saying that nope it would not be covered. Obviously from reading the reviews and researching the internet there are lots of issues with these tvs.

Love at first sight
I bought my TV as a gift to myself after a long period of job searching in an assumption to get an offer soon. However offer fell thru. But I fell in love with my tv there was no way I could send it back.
The display quality is just amazing. This is my second Samsung tv previous one was also good at it's time. However this is beyond. 8k content is rare However you can now watch a true 4k content on a large scale tv like 75 inch and above!
Sound is amazing. I am not using any additional sound systems. Tvs speakers are strong enough and so crisp I just love it!
I did not mount to the wall so can not comment how practical it was but I assembled the legs myself. It's a heavy part that carries a big TV. So I won't deny it's not a female weight to handle. Get help if needed. Thankfully following the asmbly my friends helped to lift it up :)

Samsung Neo Qled 8k Review
The "Samsung Neo Qled 8k Smart TV" is not only my first smart TV, but also my first Samsung TV. With that being said, this is by far the best TV I've ever had.
The picture quality is unbelievably good and so clear. When I turn up the brightness for things like really dark shows or horror movies, it doesn't interfere with the experience! The picture remains clear instead of getting foggy like other tvs that I've owned.
The sound quality is about what you'd expect from a TV in this price range, so nothing special to comment on there.
Durability, this TV is tougher than it looks. My 3 year old likes to throw things and he's why I have this TV now. I'm happy to say that this TV isn't going anywhere! We've had multiple things thrown at the TV ,but they bounce right off and don't even leave a scratch or dent.
Finally, the Price. I think it's well worth the price, it fit just within my budget, and it fit all the requirements that I needed in a TV. I don't feel like I've paid too much for it, so I have no buyer's remorse.

800C: Best Picture, Best Sound & Features
We've owned four Samsung products over the years and each served up the greatest entertainment value for the price and times. The reviews of competitors products couldn't come close in 99% of the cases. Now that we are retired and love our movies, the 2023 800C exceeds all of our expectations. The engulfing surround sound on top of excellent video that pulls you into the action (day or night) without any reflections. Our Q-Series soundboard compliments the entire system. Our grandchildren taught us to stream and now it's a full-on family affair on weekend movie nights. Plus the added benefit of seeing our grandchildren more is fantastic! Thank you Samsung. From setup to array of plug-in options to style, we continually get complements. The 8K along with billions of colors and the way the screen delivers what we believe is the true director's vision. Thank all the Samsung engineers and staff for providing us with an entertainment center that we deserve.

Disappointed…Bad TV
Spend money elsewhere. Samsung has really dropped in quality after being one of the market leaders. Purchased this TV a year ago direct through Samsung and it’s already broken. The TV screen won’t turn on and the TV is in a perpetual cycle of turning on and off again. Complete waste of money after only one year of use. Also, the design of the TV makes it extremely delicate and prone to breaking because it’s just one large screen without much support or place to grab it. Overall, for the price, save the money and buy a different brand.

Bout this TV 2/18/24 and it had been a great tv with amazing picture and easy to get around in except for getting the screen to split to watch two games at once. Then on 8/31/25 it wouldn’t turn on. Contacted Samsung and of course warranty was out on 12/31/24. We were told on the phone after going through all the unplugging and ect. they make you do that we would have to pay for a service representative to come and take a look at it!! Guess what there is no service technician in our area!! So now we have an almost $4,000 TV that lasted 1.5 years as dust collector!

Great $5000.00 PS5 gaming monitor, not a great TV!
The only reason I bought this TV is Motion Xcelerator Turbo+, but anything walking or faster is a blur or juddery. It's like a blurry outline of anything walking or moving faster. Especially legs or a lot of them. Bottom line, the busier the scene is the blurry the TV is. I bought all new HDMI cables and that did not help. Great gaming, still & slow picture truly stunning. My Plasma broke and I never had any problems with blurry & lagging fast movement. Now after close to $5000.00 for a TV and sound bar, I have to live with blurry TV. One more thing, the TV makes a sound radiating from the back. It sounds like crinkling tin foil. Features are ok. It recognized my PS5 for about a day in the game hub. I had to manually name the input PS5.

A great PS5 display not a great TV!
I tried everything Samsung Brand Ambassador wanted me to try, and with no glory. TV still cannot handle busy scenes. Animals running to people moving their hands and walking, they all leave traces or pixelation. Why can we get a TV that has a refresh rate of 240 or above? 60 or 120 just doesn't work. I miss my Samsung Plasma. There still is a weird sound coming from the back of the TV. You have to put your ear to it, but it sounds like a clicking sound or tin foil.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your QN800C TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode. Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. Is the sound coming from your speakers, or is your TV connected to an external audio device like a soundbar? If so, please make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device. For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information If the sound is coming from the back of the TV, the expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction, and the TV is safe to use. You may also want to run a Sound Test by going to: Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test For further help, you can always contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Specialist

The best TV I have ever owned
Bought this as replacement for a living room tv that was end of life. Did a lot of research and found Neo 8K to be logical for the price compared with high quality 4K tvs.
Decided to get this TV mounted on the wall with the Samung low profile Bracket and I love how snug it sits to the wall given that it is a very thin TV.
Love the Samsung One Connect feature and the single thin cable. Very happy with the size as I was debating 65 vs 75 inch.
The connectivity was a breeze and the smart TV features are intuitive.
The picture is bright and the darks are deep. The screen is glareless and I feel like I am in a premium movie experience in my living room.
Overall the right solution for our space. And everyone in the family is happy.

Warning - Expensive TV - known Defect
I purchased one of Samsung's 75" premium 8K televisions, but I've been facing issues with it since the beginning. I'm still struggling with the customer service department to get it repaired. They treat me like I'm a criminal because I want my $3,500 television, which is still under warranty, to be fixed instead of settling for a known defect.
After installing the TV, it would consistently overheat and turn itself off and on and made a terrible buzzing/rattling sound when low-frequency sounds (deep voice or music) were played in a movie scene. Despite having reset the system and installing factory updates, the problem persisted. My initial thought was that maybe old HDMI cables were the culprits, so I had them replaced but this did not resolve the issue. Even after replacing the cable box, the problem persisted, which led me to seek Samsung's service.
A Samsung repairman visited my house, observed the issue, and replaced the circuit boards in the TV. Upon removing the old ones, he asked me to smell them, as they had a strong burnt odor. Replacing the circuit boards resolved the on-off problem. However, the buzzing and rattling noise persisted, which the repairman identified as a separate issue. He suggested that Samsung would only authorize a repair for this problem with a separate ticket.
I called Samsung's customer service again. After being transferred to several representatives and being asked to explain the problem repeatedly for an hour and a half, a ticket was finally created. I waited for over a week for the scheduled service appointment, but nobody showed up. I called Samsung again and spent another hour on the phone to find out that Samsung had canceled the appointment without any explanation. When I asked who and why the appointment had been canceled, they said they didn't know.
When I asked to reschedule my service appointment, the representative told me to reset the TV and install updates. I explained to them that I had already done this three times with previous techs I spoke to on the phone, but they insisted I do it again in order to receive service. I went through all the troubleshooting steps with the representative once more, but unfortunately, it did not solve the issue. I was told, "That should have fixed it, only 2% don't get fixed because those had double stick tape accidentally applied over the speakers which caused them to buzz". I suggested that mine must be one of those bad ones because it still buzzes terribly and asked if it could be replaced with another TV. They didn't agree to that and said if another technician was sent out and he didn't agree that the buzz was a factory defect, I would have to pay for the service call. I was appalled, shouldn't the top-of-the-line Samsung television not rattle like one of those cars that drive by with a tremendous subwoofer blazing inside? Then it seemed like they were accusing me of not having an issue with the TV at all, and said I had to "send them a video of my TV buzzing" so I did. Never heard back from them. Just before calling them back a couple of days later, I got an email requesting a receipt to prove I bought the TV legitimately. I sent that in too and am now waiting for some other hurdle to jump over.
I purchased the most expensive TV in my lifetime from Samsung (I'm 60 years old) and just want to enjoy it. I want to be able to turn off the subtitles on my new TV but can't because the audio is so distorted that one can't understand a lot of what is being said. I don't want to be treated like a criminal because I want to have my new TV repaired rather than just settle for a defective one. Do I have to purchase a Sony, LG, Vizio, or some other brand to enjoy watching a movie with my wife on date night? Shame on you Samsung!

Amazing how crystal clear this TV is!
I have had this TV, the 75" QN800C, for two days now. I was skeptical, but the screen really is razor sharp and crystal clear. It's also exceptionally bright, for those who are concerned with daylight glare from windows. The "black" screen is actually black, not dark gray, faded black, etc. I'm using an Onkyo-6100 receiver for surround sound and the eARC & CEC work flawlessly right out of the box for the TV sound to be "off" and the tv remote controls the receiver's volume, so in other words, the integration between the two is seamless, even though they're different brands. The Samsung TV detected this and set it up automatically. The initial setup was a breeze using the app on my S23 phone. My only gripes would be the "elf-sized" remote because I have big hands, and the lack of internet connection speed when you look at the network status screen. It shows the IP address, and says "connected" but does not show at what speed, which seems stupid. I played back some 8k videos I recorded of my son's basketball game and the clarity is unreal. So I would give this tv a 10 out of 10 overall.

Beautiful
If you want a TV for beauty, great picture ease of setting up? This one is for you. Either wall mount or use the stand it comes with, either way this tv is great. However I only gave it four stars for how much heat this thing puts off. Maybe it’s because it’s an 8k TV but I’ve never noticed heat with my 4k tv that I have. Other than that it’s wonderful and feels like it upscales everything including gaming.

Dies just after warranty
Stopped turning on 8 months after my one-year warranty expired, Samsung's attitude on this $4,300 product is "tough luck."
Warranties are meant to cover parts that were faulty at the time they were manufactured, and somehow didn't get caught by quality control. I understand that's why they have a limited timespan. However, my TV stopped powering on 1 year and 8 months after I dropped a huge amount of money on it, and because it was out of warranty, Samsung basically told me to fix the problem by giving them another $4,300 without question. If you calculate how much it cost me to use this TV, that's over $215 per month I owned it. Samsung if you are going to build a new product, when it turns out to have reliability issues beyond the warranty period, you should still cover those if you want to maintain any sense of customer loyalty.
It also has a dark screen. Even though it's QLED, it was often hard to see darker images, even with the room darkened and all other lights off. This purchase was a huge self-treat and I regret it.

Believe the bad reviews
Don't buy! Like all of the other reviews the tv stopped working. Sounds like mine lasted a little longer than others, standing at 2 1/2 years old now. Turned off while I was watching TV and never turned back on and now when I try to turn it on it keeps clicking and never turns on. Complete garbage.

Almost made it to 5 years
Well, we made it longer than many reviewers. After nearly 5 years the LEDs started to go out. Maybe it is just me, but I expect a TV in this price range to last at least 5 years. I checked the warranty and it is only 12 months. That seems crazy that a TV is only expected to make it 12 months. for the next one, I am going to shop around more thoughtfully. I mistakenly thought I could count on the Samsung brand.

Samsung Does Not Stand Behind Their Products
So after buying many Samsung TVs and being very happy with them I splurged on the 75” 8K variant. After almost 24 months it developed a line on the bottom third of the TV. The line is exactly 1px tall across the entire display.
I called Samsung and paid the $150 to have a technician come out since it was out of warranty. He said it would be $2000.00 to repair the product as they needed to replace the entire LED panel.
He also said the only way this could have happened is because of a manufacturing defect since the led lines are printed by a computer.
I have escalated this a few times within Samsung and they refuse to help fix the problem or compensate for a new TV.
Buying a $4000 tv should come with more than 12 months support and a company like Samsung should support their product.
It’s a great TV other than then line but cannot recommend based on the poor support.
