Unfortunately, there is not enough brightness to make the set useful for watching TV or playing dark video games. I believe Samsung knows this is an issue because the unit came with the Brightness level maxed out as a default. I'm exploring returning this unit because of this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This TV is absolutely remarkable!!!! I put the 75" in my game room to enjoy my sports as well as movie night with the family. Its remarkable and we absolutely love it. Its as vivid as it can get and so sharp and clear its like your in the game or movie. It has great sound that comes stock with it, but when I hooked up sound bar and surround sound you definitely feel like you are in the movie running from dinosaurs. I love that it is light weight and was easy to mount on the wall and no worries of the kids running around and it coming down. We hung black out curtains in the game room and the color is so great even when the lighting in the movie gets dim we can still see perfect as to what is going on. I love the sleek design of it and it definitely screams i belong in the man cave, even though I call mine "game room" so my wife feel left out. Now when it comes to playing video games on it, well once again absolutely remarkable. No delays in the movement on the screen and I love racing with the steering wheel sitting right in the middle of the I feel like in the car. All around great product and definitely Recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Picture & Sound! Poor Interior Design¡ TV made a low zinging noise out of the box. Picture was amazing and everything worked great so I mounted it and didn't think anymore of it. For the next 9 months or so this TV gave me such beautiful gaming and viewing experiences. Then one day I turned it on to find internal damage had occurred to the panel. I'm the sole user and never had any physical interaction to cause any damage. There are no blemishes, indentations, scratches or any visible imperfections on the screen nor the outer factory plastic that would suggest physical contact. It is a heavy TV so maybe there was a pressure from inside, or perhaps the panel or other left the factory compromised. Not to the degree to fail your process, but enough to be a faulty product that would prove an inability to provide a decent shelf-life. Out of the millions and millions of products Samsung makes surely there will be some defects, but the only response I got from chat was "there is physical damage." 1 year warranty starts from when your distributor bought your TV, not you. No manager, no ticket escalation, no progression leading to a solution. Instead I found multiple agents that work for you with an agenda of their own. Phish info in an effort to scam unsuspecting Samsung customers. I don't mind I received a defective unit, but when I reach out for help and find a portion of your "experts" with no desire to help me but the desire and intent to steal from me, you can imagine how that makes me feel.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a TV that looks amazing. The only thing I wish it had was no bezels because I have monitors that have no bezels and it would look much better with no bezels but that's the only downside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great brightness, perfect for my living room I use this TV mostly for watching 4k movies and YouTube. Every now and then, I'll play some XBox One X games on it. The main challenge I deal with is how bright my living room is. The entire 28 foot back wall is nothing but windows. Even with the blinds down there's a crazy amount of sunlight lighting up the room. So, brightness is important to me. Without brightness, I can't see the TV in the day time hours. This TV excels at that. It's plenty bright, and the colors are really good. Some really picky people would probably point out that the blacks aren't as deep as some TV's, and I would say is accurate. However, it matters very little if you're using the TV in a well lit living room like I am.

I've had several tech come take it apart, new motherboard, software updates. Every tech blames the previous tech. Remote stopped working shortly after purchase and they wanted to charge me $60 for a new one. It's a shame that I spent so much money on this thing and have had so many problems with it.

The remote puts you in control with all the fun buttons you want to push & can! Voice command is effortless & seamless, works just as good as my phone a Samsung 21 Ultra! Pairing my phone to my TV was almost instantaneous & opened up a whole new world when it comes to streaming. It's sleek & sexy looking. For the price we got it we couldn't pass it up! I've never went wrong with a Samsung product!

It stands out from the tv that was showcased, the display is bright and your eyes wont get strained. What I like the most it how it displays the screen even if the area where it was displayed are so bright! the screen of the t.v is like eating the light outside and it still retains it brightness without affecting the picture being displayed. You wont also be needing another speakers for this because its already loud and sharp! i recommend this for everyone or get the any Q series.

I don't currently have a sound bar, but honestly I don't know that I need it. The sound is crisp and the picture is amazing. The smart features are snappy and are far above other smart TV's I've used in the past. There are some Apps that I've not been able to get, such as crunchyroll. Still have to use a chrome cast device to get that, but everything else has been fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Audio glitch trying to use native tv apps like youtube tv but audio doesn't pass through through onkyo home theater receiver using hdmi/arc, have to use separate roku device. have tried optical output and that doesn't work either. according to onkyo tech support, they have seen this issue before with samsung tvs. this is a such a simple feature and it's so disappointing that a company like samsung cannot provide it.

I was amazed at the thinness of the set. The only thing I have a slight problem with is that it goes on and off a few times when you start watching it. Once you are passed that there aren't any problems. I would have liked to have given it 4 - 1/2 stars but did not see a way to do that. I am sure I will like the TV more when I learn to use the Netflix and HBO features. I would recommend this TV to anyone, and Wow what a difference from the TV's when I was a child.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung 75" TV Bought this TV for my living room and was concerned about the size. Had a 50" and decided to go bigger. Best decision! It's a thin TV so perfect for wall mounting. The included TV stand is small enough so you won't need a large piece of furniture to place it on. The back of the stand is hollow so you can pass the cables through it for a clean look. The quality of the picture is bright and vibrant. I added a Samsung sound bar which adds an element of cinematic features to your viewing pleasure. Lots of features like multi view, ambient view the ability to display various images on the TV when not in use and Samsung Plus TV which has lots of subscription free channels to choose from. Voice controlled remote is thin and doesn’t use disposable batteries. It has a solar panel on the back for charging or by using the included USB cable. If you're looking for a quality TV you can't go wrong with this TV!

I used to repair TV’s as well as sell them and I am very picky about design, features & functionality and mostly picture ! Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Technology = Lesser Quality i previously owned a samsung un f8000 75" and it was, hands down, the best picture i've ever seen - better than any theater, including 3d and imax. when people walked into my house, their reaction was "wow! that tv picture’s amazing!" the main technological difference between that model and current models is the motion rate (mr). the un series had a mr of 1200. the highest mr in current models is 240. when my un model died, i was heartbroken. after months of research, i purchased the qled 80 series. what a let down!! it's like going back to the old console tvs my parents had. this picture, despite the "updated" technology, doesn't even begin to compare to the previous model. my advice to samsung: concentrate your r&d efforts back on the mr and all other things will fall into place.

I watch tv shows, movies and play a ton of video games. The sharpness and bright colors pop when watching in the middle of the day and is even better at night. Video games run super smooth and crisp like the newest smartphones. I would highly recommend this tv to everybody looking for the newest and best tech in an affordable priced tv.

Picture is sharp and bright, but when the content is a slow panning panorama the picture becomes jerky and updates in hesitant jumps instead of smoothly panning. This is a problem with the tv’s internal video processing. If you watch a lot of travelogues or nature films, this is not the tv for you.

It is an enormous asset to our meeting room capabilities allowing us to expand our communications to our entire service area and beyond. This TV has brought our meeting room to a new level of technological capability. It has a clear picture which is easily visible for everyone in the room to see and is easily operated by those conducting meetings. We are looking forward to the first large use this week.

Colors Vibrant. 75 inch is liking being in a Movie Theater without all the noise of others, cellphones, etc. The sound is very, clear. Love this T. Then decided to get the sound bar to go with it. WOW totally like being in a THEATER!!!!! Best TV and Sound bar ever. Very happy with my purchases and will never buy another Brand. Samsung is superior to all the SONY'S I have owned on every level. All that have seen, watched it are making Samsung their next tv and sound bar. A couple bought Samsung sound bars for their Sony's. Why??????? Samsung's are better. So far 1 has purchased this exact TV. Very very happy Consumer with Samsung.

We have always bought Samsung TV’s and every salesman we talk to says they are the number one TV on the market. I like that they make lower end models to high end models. Viewing our favorite series, docudramas and movies on large screen helps captures the experience. Love easy hookups for satellite, stereo, speakers etc.

Another great asset is being able to stream television due to the ability to download the Xfinity app (unlike my curved Samsung tv), goodbye cable box. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a new TV, yiur entertainment experience will get a boost.

So far lagging it's not a problem , refresh rate could be better (I used ps5) Image it's clear Sound it's sync The adaptive sound it's a little confusing, and working on that. But game pro mode it's good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing QLED display with a not-so-friendly UI It is a fantastic tv for gaming/sports/movies! And it's refresh rate is incredible for gaming. The Samsung TV UI has never been my favorite and it's always been slightly clunkier than other TVs UI. This can be remedied by getting another streaming device,but honestly, it's not completely clunky. It still delivers a great experience with a very much expected quality you get with Samsung products.

We bought the TV just in tike for the super bowl. The Q80 is crystal clear and makes you feel like you are in the game. Video games are lightning fast and feel so realistic. We are absolutely in love with our new TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional TV, Best in the 2021 Lineups I reviewed multiple of the 2021 TVs and got down to the Samsung Q80A and Sony OLED. After watching multiple reviews online I was still torn and went to my local Best Buy. Luckily they had both on display and it was not even close looking at them side by side. WOW the Samsung was gorgeous in person. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks and it is seriously an amazing tv. I have a PS5 and gaming is mind blowing, no ghosting or issues at all. 4K streaming is no problem. Sound has been great (no sound bar, just from the TV speakers). Only two cons so far… nothing huge, but can be annoying at times. 1) the remote can get a little wonky at times. The power button turns on/off but every other button won’t work. Normally turn it off, wait a couple minutes, turn it back on, and everything is fine. 2) it pauses live tv (YouTube TV) when you turn the tv off and when it turns back on it will try to pick up where left off. At times it will have a brain freeze trying to catch up and I’ll have to close the app completely and reopen a few times before it gets back to speed.

I didn’t expect to have such a dramatic upgrade in picture moving from a regular hdtv to my Samsung but I have been blown away. Not only is the picture great but the speakers are great too. They work so well you don’t need to add a sound bar to get great sound to fill your room. I would highly recommend this tv to everyone.

In my space, this TV provides a true theatre experience, with crisp vivid color and nice depth of sound. The Tizen is the best onboard experience that I've found... Intuitive and user friendly, with all of my favorite services available. The remote is an absolute pleasure to use, which seems like an odd feature to call out, but it really adds to the experience.

I use a 48gb HDMI cord and the refresh rate is flawless. It is also good for playing video games, EXCEPT on game mode... CONS: The TV causes a high-pitched whine on (1) game mode and (2) ambient mode. I first noticed it on game mode. It is UNBEARABLE. I do not feel the need to use either ambient mode or game mode, so I can live with it, but if I was in the market for a new TV, I would not buy this model or even a TV made by Samsung. What is the point of paying so much for the latest TV when you can't even use all of its features? Samsung better fix this quick because I am definitely not the only one who has had this issue--Google it for yourself.

The colors are so vibrant it seems like we went from a black & white to a color TV. The Q80 was very easy to install and set up was a breeze. TV's actually smarter than I am so that was important.

The picture is beautiful regardless of the light in the house, every movie we own has been revisited because it is like seeing the movie in a totally differt manner. The sound is excellent, we thought of getting a sound bar but after we used the tv we did not think the sound could be any better. This is an excellent purchase.

I spend alot of time playing games on my Xbox Series X, the 4k, hdr and refresh rate makes games look so much better than my last tv (Sony Bravia) I used to rely on a standalone Roku (or my xbox) due to my previous TV not being the quickest to pull them up and occasionally had playback issues, now that Peacock is available as an app, I dont watch anything streaming through either of the other devices. It's quick to load, responsive and I've had 0 issues out of playback. I still use a soundbar (I like the extra kick from having a subwoofer) but I was very impressed with the tvs built in speakers, but kept my soundbar from my old set. When/ if it dies I'll be looking to one of the Samsung soundbars to replace it. Can't say enough about how much I enjoy this TV... and as a bonus, had some friends over for beers and grub one night and they talked for days about how nice the picture was. (Which helped me justifying the price for it) lol if you're in the fence, give it a shot, I'm sure you'll not regret it.

She has fallen in love with the picture and sound of this Samsung TV. But as much as she enjoys the picture and sound, she really appreciates the user friendly smart TV interface and simple to use remote. She goes to the home bar and moves around to find all of her steaming services. When Momma’s happy and all that. For me I love being able to drill down to make tweaks on some of the technical features. The other thing I like is how well it plays well with my tuner amplifier.
