Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful Life less than 1 year i bought this tv in nov-20 ( 1 year and 4 months ago) and the tv suddenly stopped to work. the tv turns on and turns off immediately and it also has some green stripes on the screen. as i bought it and moved out of the usa and the shipping just arrived in april/21 this product was used no more than 9 months. this is a horrible useful life for a product that costs more than $1.5k. the samsumg technician came to my house today and found 128 errors in the panel but he cannot assume that this is a factory defect, but for me this is the only option as this is a quite new product. i do not recommend it.

Awsome image quality, with the dual led the colors are really good, sensitivity with the 120 hertz make the image go smoothly and no blurry spots, also the sound it is great and all settings have a Expert mode where can be adjustable for your convenience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a let down I bought this tv just over 2 years ago. I was extremely happy until about 5 months ago. Several areas of the screen were showing signs of light bleed in almost every moderately dark scene. I just turned the backlight down and it helped a little but it was really starting to degrade the quality. Then, all of the sudden last night 11/27 the tv shut off and now will not power on. It just power cycles over and over. I tried every booting/hard booting procedure samsung has available with no help. Pretty disappointed that a $2200 tv from a supposed quality brand only last 2 years. Hopefully the repair bill is reasonable or this $2K purchase is going in the dumpster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality concerns let me start by saying i currently own 4 samsung tvs so i had been pretty loyal to the brand. but my experience with our q70 has been both disappointing and frustrating. i recently noticed wide, static vertical bands of discoloration that distort the picture (e.g. any image within these bands is tainted a dark yellow). it’s not an input or connection issue because it’s most obvious in the setup screens and ambient mode, where there is a solid background. once you notice the discoloration, you can’t un-notice it so my viewing experience on this set is totally disrupted. the really frustrating part is that the tv has barely been used (it’s in a room that we are still furnishing) and is now one month out of warranty. beware quality issues and planned obsolescence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV Power supply failed 2 months after warranty i have had this tv since october 2020. i have loved the tv for its great high def display and gorgeous color depth but unfortunately my manufacturer warranty ended october 31st 2021 and today 1/19/2022, it seems that the power supply has failed. i have reached out to samsung and received no support. the build quality does not match the $3000.00 price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV stopped working the tv was difficult to set up. it keep booting us off and disconnects from wi-fi constantly. the sound would cut out periodically since it was new. no correction was found even with assistance. on the last month of warranty the tv stopped working completely. screen is black and flickers randomly. no sound and the menu won't come up on the screen. tv attempts to power on but just cycles on and off. can now only shut the tv off by pulling the cord from the wall power. we do not recommend this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot Make A TV That Lasts More Than 2 Years chose this tv under the best buy extended warranty program after my samsung - 75" class - led - q7f series - 2160p - smart - 4k uhd tv with hdr died with a black screen. that one was purchased on sep 4, 2018. this one was purchased on mar 7 2020 again with the best buy extended warranty. now this tv has a black screen - sound but no picture. it amazes me that a product of this type lasts only a few years or less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective tv, corner backlight bleeding i know what acceptable backlight bleeding is. i have a lower model samsung in my room with backlight and brightness on max and it is no where near the crap im getting with the q70. it is defective but it is getting settled as normal by samsung twice. they note they receive lots of calls for backlight bleeding, well maybe if you didn't remove local dimming from the q70 line you wouldn't habe angry customers. 1500 bucks you expect a decent mid range tv. im going to vizio this is horrible

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing screen. Disappointing case and housing. The television looks absolutely amazing. However, the case is flimsy. The screen actually flexed when I plugged in a cable behind it and developed vertical lines on the screen right in front of the HDMI ports. After an hour of trying to figure out if the issue was the cable or the screen, I moved the television to remove the cable and box the television back up then the case flexed again and the lines went away. If Samsung spent $0.13 less making this television, it would never even power on. Disappointed. I bought a very expensive mount for this television but I don't even want to move it now. Manufactures today should focus on making something that will last instead of trying to stay ahead of the bleeding edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective Product we bought this samsung tv and when we took the protective corner foam off, the right side of the screen literally peeled off from the tv as we took it off exactly as directed! you can see the backlight from the side and the front! even with the tv off you can see where the screen has lifted. to this day i'm not sure how a tv such as this one wouldn't be considered defective if the screen comes off with the foam corner protective layer! this would have been a nice addition to our home with all of it's features - however we will have to now replace it with a competitor. we will not use samsung products for any other home improvements due to the cheap manufacturing quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this TV beautiful picture. black levels and screen brightness are a++. i have had this tv to about two weeks and i'm still smitten by the picture. the only complaint i have is when watching hdr on netflix, hulu, disney and prime. the normally bright and beautiful picture is washed out and dark. no matter what there is no way to disable the hdr. in a bright room watching hdr content very disappointed. please add a way to turn off the hdr processing on the streaming platforms. samsung, please ad this feature so i can watch streaming platforms without the hdr processing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crap this tv crapped out after 3 months right before super bowl. than the piece they need to replace was vack ordered. than they wanted to swap it out but took forever and than they daid they would refund as an ecoupon... took 3 months without a tv before i got a coupon to replace the tv there customer service was crap. everything about getting just a coupon was like pulling teeth. they never followed up with me, i always had to call them to move forward every step and now i have to get another tv from samsung ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality TV i only wish i had ordered the 82 or 85 after i saw how much room i had left on the wall. to the reviewers who said the remote was not so good, it is great. it don't have all the bells and whistles with all the buttons, but one you get use to it, it is much easier to use especially for my wife. as far as 4k goes, very few stations use 4k. i knew that when i bought it. when i do get 4k, it is very clear. even without 4k it is very clear. i really wanted to upgrade to a samsung sou one other thing. i saw reviews that the shipping company samsung uses is not so good. they were outstanding. samsung gave me nothing for my review, nor i expect anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture Poor Interface we have had this tv for a few months. the picture is great. however, using the smart software and especially hulu stinks. the tv constantly freezes and is resetting. when i reset and try to go back to watching the live show it goes to the beginning. it takes 2 to 3 attempts to get back to the live program. watching a live sport event is problematic. great picture, poor software.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stands the stands that this comes with is terrible. they struggle to hold the weight of the tv, they are wobbly, and causes the base of the tv to split. if the stands break because of its dumb cheap design, samsung will not honor the warranty.
