It fits well in the living room which is not terribly large, has a great picture, but took some getting used to navigating the features. I would like to see more print information packaged with the TV to make it more user friendly out of the box.

I have been able to make use of my Roku but the TV OS does not fully embrace it. Seems that there's some bugs in the TV OS. Otherwise, the TV set is great. Thanks.

Initial set up was easy, but what impressed me was the technical service group that helped set up the more advanced features. They were extremely responsive and patient. They took remote control of the TV features, walked us through what we wanted done, and taught us how to do it in the future if needed. They stayed with us the entire way through. A great customer service experience.

I've had the TV for 6 months and I still have difficulty making adjustments to the picture. Some of the symbols are not intuitive and there isn't a written explanation for what they do. Remote does not control a non-Samsung soundbar.

Upscaling for HD content is sharp, and motion handling is very smooth, so action scenes stay crisp. The Tizen smart TV interface is responsive and easy to use, with plenty of apps and handy Game and Ambient modes. Sound quality is clear and dialogue stands out, though the built-in speakers feel a little limited for bass and immersion—adding a soundbar is a smart move for movie nights. Another minor downside: the reflective screen can show strong glares if you have direct light facing the TV. It also lacks Dolby Vision, supporting only HDR10 and HDR10+ for high dynamic range. Still, the overall performance, slim design, and responsive features make this a great premium TV choice for most home theater needs. If you want excellent contrast, fantastic brightness, and top-notch smart functions, the QN85D delivers—just be aware of the minor quirks with sound and reflections

Works well with Spectrum and wifi. The only thing I can say bad about the TV is the remote control is challenging. The buttons are so small and not very prominent so finding the right button at night in bed is very difficult. They designed them too smooth so you can't feel your way around.

We watch a lot of sports and this Samsung TV does a great job of keeping the action clear and detailed. We do dim the overhead lights as the screen has a tendency to pick up some glare. But other than that it is a great TV. We stream most of our viewing and this TV makes it easy to connect with the various apps we connect with. We get a lot of compliments about the picture.

I have 5 Samsung TV in my home and work shop, I wouldn’t have any other brand. My first Samsung is in the left of this photo, it’s 16 years old still going strong. Very satisfied!!!

You won’t go wrong making this purchase for yourself and your family (if that pertains). The clarity and even the internal speakers (which is never the case) even sound decent. I would highly recommend the model and the Samsung brand for TV’s for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, OS a little slow I got this tv from Costco it has great features, I love the 120hz to play the Xbox series x the built in wifi is great works at 2.5 and 5.0 ghz the dimming options are decent no better than OLED but decent, the q syhmpny with my sound bar works great after an update, the remote is dynamic meaning it does what it needs to do, it can also be recharged with it own built in solar panel, or you can charge it with a USB wire, the reason for the 4 stars is this tv has a lot of unnecessary "propaganda" or offers too much to purchase like movies etc, all this stuff makes the tv slow, Samsung should offer full control of what you need to see on your tv, and allow you to eliminate any apps you don't need, we need to do better with this Samsung, the other downside is when you set up Alexa or Bixby the tv get extremely slow, on the other side of you are a person like me that used a Samsung phone tvs sounds bars, smart watch fridge etc etc, with the smart things app you can pretty much controller everything, it is great!! This is a real review from a customer that owns this tv for a year and also owns other Samsung products!! Using Samsung for at least 15 years!!

Samsung’s Mini LED technology really shines here, especially in darker scenes where typical LED TVs can struggle. Whether I'm watching movies, sports, or just streaming shows, the clarity and depth of the image are top-tier. Motion handling is also impressive. Fast-paced scenes stay smooth with minimal blur, which is ideal for gaming or action-packed movies. The Game Mode, in particular, delivers low input lag and high responsiveness, making it perfect for next-gen console gaming. Design-wise, the TV looks sleek and premium. It’s thin, with minimal bezels, and it fits beautifully in a modern living room setup. The Tizen OS is fast and responsive, though I personally find the interface a little cluttered at times. The only negative ( my opinion) is the remote control, it’s very small, don’t like that it’s solar powered, would really have liked a larger size that’s battery operated , but don’t let that stop you from purchasing this t.v.

Fast processor for streaming and no lag when gaming on the ps5 also works great with the Samsung soundbar and switching automatically between TVs for one you need to play sound from a different one. Ps5 and Xbox show up in menu and automatically turn on nice touch compared to older 55q90

The one feature that was extremely desirable for my use was the non reflective screen. I live in the sunny south and my home receives ample and all day sunshine into my room where the TV set is located. In the evening lamps and lights are a non factor reflecting in the screen. Beyond this great feature the picture quality and brilliance blow me away. I looked at the top models from every manufacturer and was satisfied this Samsung model was clearly superior. Now that I have had this technical marvel set for a few months my due diligence is confirmed. The ability to control all functions and really personalize your viewing experience is unequalled. Movies, streaming and especially sports prove to be a very rewarding experience. This TV should be in the mix for consideration by any and all discerning consumers.

I would choose to watch any movie now at home over going to the theater. The vibrant colors and the crystal clear picture are beautiful. The brightness when needed during the day is amazing. I have no complaints whatsoever about this TV. Sports and video games look so clear even during fast motion scenes. The set up was super simple and I love the way the stand sits discreetly behind the TV and can be used to hide/manage the cords. I have no regrets purchasing this TV. Still look at it daily and comment to my family how beautiful it is.. LOVE this TV!

Having the picture be clear with a high refresh rate makes it the best tv for gaming, watching movies, sports and so much more. You feel the pictures come to life. You can see every detail, no matter how small. The other part is that it's viewable from any angle. No blind spots from anywhere in your home. I personally love the view. A bonus is also that it doesn't throw heat! No hot tv here! Others tend to get hot with the high resolution but this ones doesn't!

Bought another Samsung because it has intelligence option where it protects the TV from burn in, keeps your TV optimized. I'm so glad I bought this TV, would definitely recommend this to anyone!

My LG was an edge lit panel and I wanted to replace it with a full direct lit panel this time. I also was not a fan of LG Web OS and also did not want a Tv with Google TV operating system. I ended up purchasing the Samsung QN85D mini led TV in 65 inches with the Tizen operating system and couldn't be happier. The Quantum Dot Nano Cell technology is amazing and it is without a doubt the best television that I have ever owned. I plan on adding a Samsung sound bar in the near future to take advantage of the Samsung Q-Symphony sound system.

It's fairly customizable, though some areas of customization leave you scratching your head as to 'why not?'. And you cannot turn the TV fully off, you have to unplug it for that. I understand why they want to make it a quick start and keep it on standby, but if you go on vacation or just a couple of days out and you want to turn it off, you have to unplug it. This is odd and I don't get why they don't allow this. That's just 1 of the several 'why not' questions. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.
