Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interface is Difficult Overall we really like the TV. But the interface is a challenge. It’s not intuitive and there’s no support. We find it hard to find and load apps. The volume is also a challenge. It suddenly will get really loud when there’s a round of applause from a tv show or similar outburst. Then it gets whisper quiet. As a result, especially when kids are in bed, we turn captions on and keep the volume low. We are annoyed by the dialogue syncing. No matter what app or show, the spoken words are not in time with the mouths. It’s like watching a poorly dubbed foreign movie. Luckily the remote is easy and rechargeable. It takes just a little patience to figure out what each button does since they are vaguely labeled. But it’s well worth not having a remote with 75 buttons on it!! We do not have a sound bar or DVD attached so changing inputs is not an issue. The FireTV allows you to have family photos be the screensaver. Apparently the Samsung does not.

Despite multiple light sources in our family room, the TV operates flawlessly with a non-glare screen and excellent picture. My wife and I are so very satisfied with this purchase as the performance has exceeded our most optimistic expectations. Would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in a quality TV offering non-glare viewing and excellent performance.

Customer service is designed to be a gauntlet of redundant processes. 8 different representatives none with authority to resolve the situation. finally told they have no solution and they have no replacements or anything similar. The software and new wave remote takes a bit to get used to and integrating our Denon receiver and speakers took a bit of tweaking to get the audio settings right but overall I am happy we replaced our old 47" Samsung LCD with this one. It is a major step upward from most TVs. So good and bright it tires your eyes sometimes so we just reduced the brightness slightly. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tv This TV is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for bright colors mixed with perfect dark colors. Samsung managed to combine the brightness of their panels and Incorporated it into a OLED panel. This in turn has provided a perfect combination when viewing the TV when watching movies or TV shows and gaming. To provide more satisfaction, the anti-glare screen this TV has, is by far a perfect touch. Samsung managed to create a OLED panel that still provides the wonderful colors while keeping glare at bay. I highly recommend this TV to anyone. The only caveat, that I did not like about the TV, which isn't a deal breaker, is the one connect box. This TV would have been perfect if they managed to include it completely into one unit. Having the one connect always causes issues when trying to use different types of brackets when mounting to wall and including a soundbar. But still manageable and my TV is still mounted on a wall with the soundbar attached underneath.

Showing my age with this next comment - the remote control is a total PIA.. what happened to being able to key in a channel etc.. so much easier, especially when voice control is still spoty and isn't accurate to what you ask or tell it you're wanting. And the easedropping it brutally annoying! The little talk visual pops up in the bottom left hand corner randomly and messes up the sound of what you're watching. If you gauge it just as a television - it's crisp and bright! take this all for what it's worth to you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, what a picture! This thing has the clearest picture that I have ever seen and there is no glare even if the sun is shining through the window. When you first turn it on you get the home screen and from there you can maneuver to whatever device or network you like. Furthermore, the screen is so thine and light plus the power box that drives the TV can be mounted on the back or even in another room out of the way. I can say that this TV was about the easiest TV to setup right out of the box with easy-to-understand instructions. I could go on but then people would think I was a TV salesperson.

The colors and pictures on the S95 are spectacular, but this is for a living room with 6 windows and track lighting. Any time of day or night, this screen SWALLOWS direct sunlight or bright incandescent. You'll never appreciate it until you experience it.

The picture quality is sensational and the non-glare screen eliminates any light reflection from all directions. The other great feature of the TV is Samsung TV Plus that comes with all of their TV’s. It can be combined with all of your streaming services so you don’t need a cable subscription any longer. I would definitely recommend Samsung TV’s!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of Samsung 55” OLED S95D TV Review of Samsung 55” OLED S95D TV I’ve been a loyal Samsung fan for the past 20 years, particularly when it comes to their TVs. My most recent purchase was the 55” OLED S95D, and it has impressed me in several ways. First, the picture quality is outstanding, living up to the high expectations I have for Samsung products. The glare reduction is especially impressive, as it manages to eliminate nearly 100% of the glare, which is crucial given that the TV is used on a job site in a trailer with lots of direct sunlight. However, there was one major disappointment: the design of the TV’s component box. Unlike many other setups, the display of the TV is separate from the components. The components are housed in a separate box at the back of the TV, which, unfortunately, makes it impossible to use a standard wall mount to hang the TV. While the TV does come with a nice cable that allows you to relocate the component box 4-5 feet away from the display, this solution wasn’t practical for my setup. I had to mount the component box in a less-than-ideal location—on a wall where it was visible and difficult to hide. The component box is also a bit larger than I expected, which led to it protruding from the side of the TV display, making it hard to conceal. To make matters worse, Samsung does not provide any mounting hardware or a mounting solution for the component box. As a result, we had to improvise and create a custom solution to mount it. In conclusion, while the 55” OLED S95D is an excellent TV with incredible picture quality and glare reduction, I would recommend avoiding this model if you plan to wall-mount it. The design of the component box makes it difficult to achieve a clean, sleek look if you’re trying to hide it or place it out of view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV but... I purchased this tv to replace my Neo QLED tv in my onsuite and I like the glare free screen and the separate set top box. My only major negative to this tv is the lack of the NextGen tuner that's included older models (QN800B, QN90A, QN90C). By living in a metro area, this feature provided a future proofed system that enhanced my experience and for the premium price, one would've expect that feature to be included. Other than this one major negative, the positive benefits of this tv are numerous; there's the small bezel, pure blacks and impeccable colors. I connected it to my samsung soundbar and the Q-Symphony sound effects provided a full immersing effect during movie watching. Overall I like this tv alot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stupid default settings First, I love the anti-reflective screen. That was the main reason I bought this particular model, and it is very effective. The overall user interface is decent, though there are some things I still need to look up in the manual or online. And while the picture is good, I feel it could be better and my first impression of the picture was harmed by the stupid default settings....it defaulted to having contrast at 100% and brightness at about 60%. The first thing I turned on was golf from sunny Florida and the contrast was just overwhelming, making the picture look bad. At first I wondered if there was something wrong with my set. I've turned the contrast down to 10 or 20% and the brightness up to 100% and it is much better but I still sometimes wish for a bit more brightness, especially in the darker areas of the picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic TV that takes some getting used to. The Samsung S95D OLED TV is a terrific TV, and if you can find it when it's often on sale, it's a great value. First, the picture quality is outstanding, with inky blacks and vibrant colors. Second, the sound quality is surprisingly good for such a thin TV (though you will still want to add a proper sound bar). Third, it is VERY thin. Fourth, it was packed with advanced features you'll spend months uncovering and understanding. The only drawback, and it's not much of a drawback, is that there's a lot to learn with this TV. Relatedly, you will scratch your head at times puzzling over how to achieve certain goals (e.g. you will want to turn off "Picture Clarity Settings" and "Interest-Based Advertising..." The Amazon Alexa integration, while welcome, also takes getting used to. Samsung makes high-quality TVs, maybe the best in the business, and this is no exception. The build quality is great and if it needs repair (it won't...when I donated my previous ten year old Samsung it was in flawless condition), Samsung has thought of that possibility, making the components accessible and affordable. I expect this one to last at least another ten years.

The vibrant colors really pop, making everything from movies to sports a visual treat. There’s no glare, even with the room lights on, which makes for a perfect viewing experience at any time of day. The sound quality is surprisingly rich for a flat-screen, adding to the immersive feel. Overall, it’s a fantastic TV that I quickly got hooked on!

I have many windows in my family room and it is very bright. I had a higher end QLED in there and at times the glare made the TV unwatchable and highly annoying. The matte finish on this TV allows me to watch it at any time. Even with the sun coming directly through the windows the screen is 100% watchable, even in dark scenes. The reviewers who complained that the light made the TV unwatchable are just going after clickbait. I have no dog in this fight, I am not trying to make money like they are, just a guy who wants to watch TV without glare. I play PS5 and switch games flawlessly. The picture quality and colors are bonkers good. When you get to these high end TV's the differences get subtle. Seems to render low resolution content well at 4k, so no complaints there.

This was a great investment with the extra bright color in a dark room and the glare free non glossy panel that makes it awesome to view TV in a bright room. I liked the new update Tizen OS which helps access all my apps instantly and it has a recently viewed section to access the most recent app utilized. The speakers are great and loud even though we had an issue with a speaker that broke (buzzing sound) after just 5 days of usuage. 3 weeks later the speakers were replaced. Overall, having a modern and stylish TV from Samsung makes my enjoyment of watching television and great experience.

One connect cable does not securely connect to the TV. I have made several service calls and don’t have an answer on getting a replacement for a TV that did not work out of the box.

My family room tv is directly opposite a bank of windows that have always made viewing during the day difficult. And now that is not an issue at all. Unfortunately there is a completely different issue with the oled. The picture is too bright!!!! My wife is sensitive to light and the white in the screen it very bright. The colors too! And just turning the brightness down doesn't make it better. It just over-emphasizes the colors! Why not provide a feature that just turns the whole picture down by 20% or 30%? And no, going to eco doesn't do it either. I have been to the dealer three times to ask how to adjust the picture and have gotten different answers each time, none of which work at all. For example I was told to just switch on "movie" mode. Sounded good in the store but my tv says that feature is not available! And so on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV but sadly myTv has issues The unboxing, and setup was great, and the TV looks awesome, but Unfortunately not to long after setting it up, I keep getting an intermittent high pitched tone that can sometimes times last for a minute, it happens when using the apps on the Home Screen, and on hdmi ports, even when the tv is muted. I LOVE the anti glare they really mastered that and the picture is pretty amazing except it does some times struggle with faces and hair/facial hair, it can sometimes make faces and hair look cartoony. Sadly I’m returning my TV because of the noise it keeps making but I would have loved to keep it. But I have had rough experiences with Samsung support in the past so I just decided to return the TV versus going the repair route. I’m tempted to buy another one and hope it doesn’t have the same issues.

We had not originally intended to buy this particular model. However, the lack of any reflections on the screen has been one of our most appreciated features of this TV. We have used several streaming services, and have been absolutely thrilled with our viewing experience. At the same time, we also bought a Samsung sound bar/system, and have been very happy with using this with the new TV. This TV (and sound system) really has been a game changer for us!

Our hope is that this model lasts longer than the other three competitor OLEDs we went through. The antiglare coating takes some getting used to, but seems to be working out. Hopefully this holds up as well as our Samsung Frame.

I was surprised when I saw the separate One Connect box that needed to be installed close to the TV. The TV was being wall mounted above the fireplace. The installer said I could purchase a longer cable in order to hide it in an entertainment cabinet. Only the 55 inch unit does not have the capability to mount it to the TV. I later found out that a longer cable cannot be purchased from Samsung or any other third party manufacturer. The cable supplied was only 6ft. There were software issues when connecting to a HDMI port with a ROKU streaming box. Poor design. Bottom line I had the unit returned and purchased a competitors product.

The interface of the TV menu annoys me because it's more complicated than it needs to be. I don't have any issues using it but I would prefer a simple interface that allows you to quickly switch between inputs and apps but I get around that annoyance by exclusively using my xbox apps. Overall, I love the setup

I ordered the S95D (65”)and the TV was delivered but at the same day I got text message that wall mount is delivered too but I did’t received it. When the guys came to install the TV they said it does’t have the mount. I paid for the mount but never received it but customer service says you have to figure on your own as 15 days are passed which is also not correct because the system mistakenly shows it was delivered on July 1 but it was’t because the order itself was placed on Jun 30 how can they deliver on July 1st. They are not even pretending to help. I never had experience such as worst customer service. I made a mistake will not repeat again. Thanks Samsung for helping me realize this.

The non-reflective screen is great for bright rooms or not wanting to see couch side lamps reflected in screen. Truly stunning color and almost painful brightness. Samsung Plus TV channels are a nice add on along with apps like Pluto, Prime Video and others. We pair ours with AppleTV 4K and an Integra 8.5 DRX entertainment system. It’s a great TV. Checkout Greentoe for a great deal too.. I saved a ton.

We live on the ocean where glare is an issue but not with this non-glare tv! The picture is practically 3-D. The sound bar we bought with it allows us to actually hear the dialogue in features with a lot of background music or noise. Thank you, Samsung for making watching tv enjoyable again!

Our viewing room has four windows and sliding patio door and when the sun ame in from the west, it was almost impossible to see the tv clearly. Now we have a perfect picture in the sun and also no reflection from the kitchen lights in the evening

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with HDMI-ARC Denon using 2 HDMI cables. The no-glare feature works as advertised. The images are clear and there is no blurring. The setup was not difficult but watching You Tube videos helped. The only big issue was connecting the S95D to the Denon AVRS920W receiver. There are no HDMI-eARC ports on the Denon. Connecting the HDMI cable from the HDMI-eARC to the HDMI output port on the Denon caused the audio to mute for a second after every minute. There were no instructions to correct this from Samsung or other sources. There solution was to connect a second HDMI cable from the HDMI #1 on the S95D to another HDMI-ARC input on the Denon.

After considering the pros and cons of Samsung and the other highly rated TV, I made my decision based on the one feature Samsung had that the other did not, namely, the anti glare screen. For years I have had to put up with the reflection of a lamp while watching. No longer! The anti glare works perfectly. Not being too savvy with electronics I had to call customer support several times to get help setting up the home theater: the customer support is outstanding! They patiently walked me through solutions to the full setup.

I can't find any flaws or negative features. My entire concern was the picture quality at first. That is perfect! Then I started looking at other features to criticize. None. Stunning! I've had it for an exceptional month now. I absolutely love it.

The internal app they chose will freeze for any videos playing. It's garbage. I bought the tv for the internet option and it's garbage. Update your internet app or allow for all applications to be downloadable. Kick, PDCTV, etc

This TV works wonderfully for all the glare in the room. The picture quality is also incredible. We have a different high end OLED model in our family room and this Samsung TV has quickly become our favorite. It is the perfect TV for our family, we love it.

Glossy finish will recieve scratches just from dusting off a single wipe. Even with a microfiber rag as well. However, the matte finish of this TV has more resistance to being scratched. Perfect bedroom TV!

I like the One Connect box as well being able to have the connections wherever I want is a nice feature. The UI and switching between apps is very fast and responsive. When I played a 4K UHD disc on my PS5 Pro it switched in and out of game mode on its own correctly. Very happy with this purchase.

The only draw back I'll give it is the matte finish is a bit muted with colors. I think the newer ones solves this but I still have no complaints. It's bright and insanely clear especially if you're watching shows with bright colors like anime. Do yourself a favor and watch Dragonball Broly with this TV or even watch Demon slayer on this TV. It's so beautiful!

Having attended NFL games for the past 25 years, I find the picture from this set comparable to being in my seats at the stadium without any of the drawbacks at live events. I found that this product became an integral part of my event watching time, that I purchased a second set of the same size, for my weekend home.

My only complaint is that, especially during commercials, the volume increases by four to six loudness levels. The increase in the sound level doesn't last long, but the shortcoming is annoying. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the Samsung TV. The picture is sharp and the colors are amazing. I plan to add external speakers at a later date. I would purchase this Samsung TV again in a heartbeat.

My only gripe is that I could not complete setup on my smart phone. I had to manually enter log in formation of a few of the apps.

The frame was less expensive but my brother has one and he said it was just ok. So decided to go with this one on Black Friday sale. It’s is really by far the best tv I have ever had. I enjoy watching nature shows as the picture is crisp and clear and I like how it auto adjust the tv based on the current lighting.

Picture quality and sound are clear and the connecting to wifi or reconnecting after network goes out is simple and smooth. It's like one action and the rest is done for you. Love it.

I also have a light thats behind the living that I used to hate when on while I was watching tv. Now I can watch tv with the blinds open, or if the light in the back is on. The glare is not a probelem anymore! The sound is good for factory tv sound but I currently use a soundbar surround system. I definitely recommend this tv for anyone in the market for a tv. I was worried about the brightness and choosing a qhd tv which they say is better for light areas. I chose this because the blacks are completely black and the qhd does not produce complete blacks.

This anti-glare panel was something that I want expecting at all to come into use. The latest version of Samsung Tizen OS and the anti-glare design was a huge benefit. As for the Home Smart Menu, you have different option menus to choose, like: Ambient (Window Screen Saver), Gaming (HDR/HDR10+, and a customizable Gaming Motion Plus).The audio system is completely different in design compared to my 7 year old previous model Samsung. It now has 6 individual round speakers on the back of the television located towards the bottom which has Intelligent and Amplify Modes which spreads the sound throughout the room. Overall, the Samsung QN55S95D 55" OLED television has vibrant colors, the 144hz gives it a better resolution with higher frame rates especially with gaming. The Home Smart Menu makes all your apps and devices easily accessible, but it takes some getting used to. The remote control is simple to use asks best of all, no lid cover to replace batteries since it's solar powered. In the end, there have been audio issues with the television, remote control direction detection issues, and the placement of component box on the wall.

But...I strongly dislike the trend toward tiny finicky remotes that don't have enough buttons. The OneConnect box is an excellent idea that just misses in the real world. I'm old and have a hard time hearing conversations on the TV. I purchased the Samsung audio system to help with the problem. Unfortunately, the sound system has not helped. It would be nice to have a video on how to setup the sound system and the TV setup.

I Live the TV but I Have a missing Pixel in the middle of my screen that’s an eye sore . I’ve called customer service to see if they can send someone out to fix it but unfortunately because of my work schedule they can not send someone out to me when I’m home . I’m going to have to take a day off of work and not get paid so Simone can come out to me .
