Rated 5 out of 5 by from They are not the same anymore I’ve owned Samsung tv for the last 20 years and when my 12 year old Samsung finally had issues I decided to look into purchasing a new QLED 4K QN90D . Well I’m somewhat disappointed! First the picture quality is not as good as my old Samsung and trying to make adjustments in settings I found out that a simple setting like aspic Ratio is fixed and not adjustable on this model!!! Why ???? So a $1900 tv you have no control over. Don’t buy

Samsung would not honor the price on the new unit, so I had to buy one and wait 10 days to return the other, costing almost $200 more. The technology is great but the customer experience with Samsung, and Best Buy were horrible. I thought buying direct was going to save me the trouble of dealing with Best Buy but you contract your delivery with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, Poor Transport Infrastructure This review is principally regarding the delivery and return process; The TV itself is excellent (except for the Tizen OS, truly Dali's idea of a GUI). Unfortunately, I ordered this product around late November and it was not deliver until late December. I subsequently found a larger size of the same model for an unmatchable price at a local outlet and initiated a return, which was approved. The pickup for my area is only on Monday's during hours I am working; I am unable to change this. This fact has been repeatedly communicated, and pickups have repeatedly (perhaps 5 times over the last 2 months) been scheduled during this time, despite assurances this would not happen. I have spent hours on the phone. I am currently exploring further remedies and options for escalation, as no concrete timeline or process for resolution has yet been provided, despite my explicit request for arbitration as laid forth in the Terms and Conditions and offer to subcontract myself for delivery. While the products and prices ordering directly from Samsung are excellent, I would caution you to ensure you receive a detailed schedule for delivery of any products and not put any faith in the fulfillability of any warranties or guarantees.

I purchase the samsung Qn90D 11..21..24 a nice television overall, am slightly disappointed due to the unavailability of Dts audio pass thru formats therefore it is inconvenient since i have a collection of BD & Dvd's and finally the optical toslink is a bit awkward, a hassle to connect for lack of space and positioning of the port all the other ports are ok!! Regarding the remote we as customers we rather have a slightly larger and robust version!!

The anti glare feature was the primary reason why I bought this model over OLED technology and it is impressive not to see any reflections on the TV on a bright day or at night from ceilings lights. It was a pricy TV but it will last me for many years to come. Well worth it !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ?? After about a month into ownership, I can say that I really like this TV. Audio is better than I thought it would be. Sounds a little bit like having remote speakers at times, which is a nice feature. Screen quality is the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Tryed to adjust color for many hours, you absolutely cant get it right. I have an older Samsung, that remote is 100 times better than there new remote control. The old on screen menus was 200% better than the way new menue operates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UI and Search Function Could be Improved I got this TV two months ago, and while it’s definitely an upgrade from my old smaller one, it’s left me wanting more. The search function can be tricky when trying to find apps or specific programs, so I’ve ended up using the SmartThings phone app to control the TV and access things more quickly. The resolution is solid, but when it comes to ball sports (football, soccer), there’s a bit of frame loss at times. Alexa voice control is also not reliable enough given the poor search functionality.

Visual quality is fine but nothing that stands out in the market. Tried to return it but Samsung denied because it was not within two weeks.

In fact, the images are so clear it took us about a week to get used to the "like live" picture quality. I can't say this is a negative but the picture is so good our internet seems at times, to make action movements jerky. We are still fairly new to this television and watching QLED, but all in all tis is a terrific television.

I want to replacement but they insisted on return and refund so I have not gotten another one unhappy I would like to have good TV. Other than that I've not had any issues with any other Samsung products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QN90D Neo QLED 4K TV (2024) I recently bought the Samsung QN90D Neo QLED 4K TV (2024) and I’m really impressed. The picture quality is amazing – colors are super vibrant, and the contrast is great, especially with HDR content. The mini-LED tech makes the blacks look deep, and the brightness really stands out, even in a bright room. I also love how sleek it looks with the thin bezels, and the sound is surprisingly good for a TV, thanks to the Object Tracking Sound feature. That said, it’s not perfect. The viewing angles aren’t the best, so if you’re sitting off to the side, it doesn’t look as good. I’ve also noticed some backlight blooming in really dark scenes, though it’s not a huge deal for me and the Tizen OS, while offering a ton of apps, feels a little bit overwhelming to navigate sometimes. Overall, though, I’m really happy with this TV. It’s a solid upgrade for my living room!

I was hesitant to buy a new TV because I really did not need one. Oh boy was I wrong! This tv makes everything look amazing. The TV is also future proof for gamers. It can run up to 144 hz at 4k! Consoles can only run 120 hz. So this tv won't fall behind when the new consoles lauch around the corner. My only wish is that samsung will add Dolby vision support. There is not much HDR10+ support and samsung either needs to fix it or except the decision they made and cut loses. On the next remote please include a source button. I get tired of having to click so many buttons to switch sources. Other than that this TV is 10/10 amazing!!!

I wish some of the buttons could be programmed to make switches between apps easier. At least this remote is flat and not curved. Yeah, my biggest complaint is the remote. The tv is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as good as my 4 year old TCL 6 series I bought this to replace a 4 year old TCL 6 series TV. The TCL has been a phenomenal TV but with advancements in technology and the reviews I've seen on the QN90D, I figured it would be a nice upgrade, especially since I caught a great deal on it. Well, despite all the great ratings I've seen, I'm underwhelmed with the performance so far. The picture is good but in many ways, I feel like the budget TCL 6 series was much better. In normal videos, they seem pretty comparable without any discernable advantages coming from the much more expensive, higher end Samsung. When it comes to darker content, the TCL seems to show much greater detail where as the Samsung seems to be too dark. Additionally, the Samsung doesn't seem nearly as sharp as the TCL. It may have something to do with the Samsung only offering HDR10+ support where the TCL has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. Additionally, although I've NEVER had a problem with the TCL TV buffering, this one will randomly buffer throughout streaming movies and it's so annoying. It's a good TV but not nearly what I was expecting. If I had paid full price for this, I'd definitely be knocking a star off. I'm still undecided on whether I want to keep it or return it and get something that has Dolby Vision. It really just doesn't do what the TCL did.

It feels like you’re in the same room as whatever you’re viewing on the TV. It’s actually insane to watch familiar tv shows or movies and see the detail in an actor’s face as if they’re right next to you and you’re looking at their wrinkles and make-up lines you’ve never seen before!

I really like how you can route the cables through the stand and have that clean cable management aesthetic. Love the better resolution. I don't typically game on a TV, prefer my Samsung monitors, but it's been real nice for some casual gaming!

Remote is tiny, not back-lit and poorly marked. Useless in the dark. Online reviews I've read indicate poor reliability with all Samsung solar remotes. Higher end TVS like this should come with real remotes and a nice owner's manual.

My wife commented that if feels like you could see around the edges. The interface between this TV and my Dish receiver is underdeveloped and frustrating mostly because Samsung remote control . It should be easy to switch between services Dish provides, and any other streaming service that Samsung supports. The thing we like least is remote that is provided.

The picture at times looks very unrealistic, and fake, at time the shadowing is blue on people. The sound while watching general tv shows and the news is horrible, the tv adds to much base and has a rumble type sound to it when there should be little to no base. It's difficult to understand men's voices due to the excessive base it gives them a very deep voice and not very clear. I tried changing the settings for the picture and sound with unsuccessful change. You missed it with this one Samsung.

The picture is super bright and colorful, and the contrast makes everything look crazy good. The 4K resolution is super sharp, and it even makes old stuff look better with AI upscaling. Gaming on it is epic with smooth motion and no lag, especially at 144Hz. The sound is really clear too, thanks to Dolby Atmos. Plus, it looks sleek and the smart features are easy to use. I have to keep telling grandkids to get off my coffee table because they like to be be 12inches from the screen! Lol! I think they like the feel of being immersed in whatever they're watching. I'm ready to replace the tv in my bedroom and I think itll be my largest samsung yet. At 68 my eyes aren't what they used to be and I need something where I can read onscreen text without squinting or getting out of bed! All my Samsung products (frig, dishwasher, washer, dryer, tablets, phones) have been well made and reliable and this TV was no exception!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent picture but UI Not Flexible I love this TV's picture. So clear at 4K resolution. Colors are great! The options and backgrounds for Ambient Mode are amazing! What I don't like is the UI provided on the various screens (Home, Ambient). I keep getting suggestions I don't want and I can't adjust these. The settings don't always work, that is, which screen or app to open on power on. I am required to setup Samsung TV Plus even though I don't watch it. Samsung should really make improvements in the OS to make it more customizable for users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable with Great Picture Quality The graphic and rate of motion on this model is very good. That cabling with the vivid colors allows for a greater viewing experience. The TV is light weight making it very easy to move around or mount. Fast networking capabilities allows for wavy connection and smooth upload/download speeds. I have not had a single issue with this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QN90D//QN55QN90 Samsung Neo QLED 4K TV (2024) I upgraded from a 43-inch TV to a 55-inch 4K model. The picture quality is outstanding, and it features a slim design with a bezel-less frame. It has built-in speakers with four channels and around 60 watts of power, along with Object Tracking Sound+ and Dolby Atmos, which are excellent. The smart TV apps are too numerous to mention (I have over-the-air programming), and I haven't yet tried the gaming mode on my TV, but I expect it to perform similarly to my desktop computer.

Switched to cable boxes and much easier to operate. Pricing was excellent and the picture is very good. Definitely recommend this model.

Every once in a while, it will have a glitch where the picture gets a little fuzzy but recovers quickly. The sound quality is awesome with the 60-watt speakers. Weather we are watching TV shows, sports or a movie, this TV has a bright lifelike picture. I would recommend this TV if you want great quality at a great price.

A couple of times, the sound completely stopped and I had to turn the TV off and back on then all was good each time. I also bought a Samsung sound bar, so not sure if it's the TV or the sound bar. As far as picture, cannot believe how clear and crisp the quality is. I really am glad that I spent the extra money to purchase this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Television as the main Family Driver Excells in a the sunlit room, imagine is still clear with light coming in through adjacent window, screen also does well rejecting overhead and wall mounted light fixtures at night time. Was/ am still impressed witht he sound quality, I thought I would need to get a sperate sound bar but the interal tweets work well. Interface responsiveness is good, very little lag switiching between apps. Where I wish samsung would improve is the cpu power and wifi antennae in the machine, Watching 4k streams off my home NAS, wifi 6e and the tv is the choke point, have to drop it to 1080p stream and even then the tv has dropouts, I dont have the opportunity to test is wired in however so take my point with a grain of sand. For high bitrate streams I need to use my nvidia shield pro. Bottom line - excellent televeision viewing experience

My wife's eyes are very sensitive to light, so having the TV auto-dim at night relieves the pain she used to get with our older TVs. We have been very pleased with the picture and features of our Neo QLED TV.

When watching UHD movies it really shows off the quality. The sound is also really neat as it moves on the screen with whatever you are watching, so it adds an extra layer to the experience. The remote was definitely a learning curve and I was worried about the rechargeable battery, but it has been perfectly fine with only charging it 1 time in the past year.

Switching between connections is easy with the supplied remote. Picture quality is great with very clean colors. For my set up the sound is good. I expect to get many years of use out of this product. I set up all the connections myself and it was fairly easy to do. I like the single center stand as it gives more placement options, as if your TV stand is not wide enough for legs on the ends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Customer Service - No Flexibilty I have been a die hard Samsung customer, I have purchased at least six TV's and three monitors. I love the picture quality and design. When I received my new TV I had 14 days or something like that to open the box to ensure no damage occurred during the shipping process. Unfortunately when the TV was delivered I had just undergone my second foot surgery. I have had terrible problems with my feet due to exposure to Agent Orange when I was in Vietnam. What I finally got aroound to setting up my new TV , there was clearly damage to the picture, several lines streaking on the screen. I called customer service to get it repaired and they informed me that I was past the time allotted to report a problem. Even though I explained my situation, I was met with NO and NO and NO again. So now I say NO to any future Samsung products.

The only complaint is that the sound sometimes is off- too loud/quiet and it happens abruptly. The video play is very smooth in play (My previous Samsung tv-8 yrs old, was jumping on some video plays). Great tv. I’m glad I bought it!!!

But TV does not handle pitch black scenes very well and produces a lot of pixelation due to low number of back light zones.

Although mmany tvs may advertise more local dimming zones and fast motion, this is only on paper. Samsung has been making TVs for a long time nice and the difference is a more refined picture with great colors and detail out the box and much smoother ans refined motion with objects staying smooth and clear without much artifacting and distracting blur. Build quality is also on point and is a good tv for all types of lighting environments!

The "adaptive sound pro" and Dolby stereo make the sound awesome even without a soundbar or surround set up, of course you won't have booming bass if you are watching and listening to music content loudly, but for movies and sports the sound is pretty immersive! My only real complaints are: 1) I'm an old fart so some of the fonts are too small to read even with adjusted all the way up, and actually the fonts that are the smallest and hardest to see the enlarge font setting doesn't make them larger or smaller no matter what the setting is which actually may be an app thing and not totally the TVs fault, I'm speaking specifically about when watching Samsung TV Plus and you go to the guide to select a channel/program and the shows description, rating, and channel info are in a box at the top of the screen and the names of the shows that are currently on each channel are below that and the font for both is tiny and I have to be about 6-7 feet from it to read it. The only way via settings to somewhat offset this is the magnification thing, but it's to aggravating and annoying to turn on to see the words then you select a show and have to turn it back off. There needs to be a way to adjust the font size everywhere, or be able to lock the magnification on every time you open the guide and then turn off once you leave the guide and select a show/channel. Only other thing is some of the features could be explained better in settings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shocking colors Yo, this TV is actually fire. I’ve been using it mostly for gaming and Netflix, and the 4K looks super clean. Colors pop hard, especially when I’m watching anime or playing Warzone. The screen’s big enough to feel like I’m at the movies, but it’s not too huge for my room. It’s got like all the apps built in YouTube, Netflix, Hulu so I don’t even need my Xbox for that stuff anymore. The only thing is the remote feels kinda cheap, but whatever, it works. Also, the speakers are okay, but if you care a lot about sound, I’d say get a soundbar. Overall, for the price and size, it’s solid. I’d give it like 8.5 outta 10. Looks clean, plays smooth, no lag when I’m gaming. Definitely worth it.

My Samsung devices have proved to be a force in reckoning, in keeping up. When it comes to Samsung TV, it comes with different style how user requires to access device settings. It is not easy to use. Bixby is good. I can see notification when JetBot cleaner start or stop. It is very nice to have from TV. But incorporating with third party applications to work with device TV, it turns out to be problematic, or even just sleeping or shutoff TV and leave the speaker on is such a complicate way to deal with. The OS from TV has many (too much) menus. Keep it simple please. Look at Google Andriod TV, no kidding!

The picture is fantastic and the audio is also above the quality I am used to. One feature that is very useful is the blutooth sound out to my headphone. This does not change the speakers for other viewers. Great option for movies and shows. Overall, I would definitely purchase this set again and would recommend to be on your list of best choices.

There were several good choices and a couple a little cheaper, but the sales person was very helpful in describing the various features of each! I choose to pay a little more for this tv because of the many new features. We have the tv in our living room above a fireplace. No we do not build fires under our tv! We replaced our old Samsung, due to backlight burning out. We are enjoying the QN90D very much. As far as cons with this tv, the only features we don't care for is the volume varies from softer to louder and back. I need to look at the sound settings, as there may be adjustments for this issue. The remote uses batteries a little more frequently, but that is not a deal breaker! Bottom line is we are happy with our purchase.

The image on the TV(s) still is crystal. I have two Samsung's (currently) . One in my son's room is a 2015, while his is impressive this N90D is leaps and bounds above in image quality. The sound is crystal clear all by its self but I paired it with an A550 and 9100S which is perfect for movies and when I'm shaking the house, streaming music! I still have brand xxxx in the livingroom which is next on the replacement list! Highly recommend *****(5/5)

I have a large window in my living room and I haven’t had any problems with intrusive glare during the daytime. This TV also fixed something that drove me bonkers for years—it doesn’t let my older Samsung soundbar shut off after a few minutes with no input. I’m incredibly happy with this upgrade!
