My last tv only did 4k 60hz or 1080p 120hz, so this was night and day difference. The HDR had a some highs I had to adjust with the settings but after it was perfect. Also this is only tv brand that has every app I needed xbox, max, netflix, spectrum, and best of all samsung tv.

The sound is amazing with the Q-symphony. Also I have my cameras on the smart hub. I have a camera on my tv so that I can use my Google meet on my tv. I have my Samsung stove and dishwasher on my tv smart hub with I can control. I am still exploring and learning all the features my tv has to give. I would highly recommend this tv.

The apps and bluetooth work every time especially with my headphones. The Samsung TV was a surprize bonus, was not expecting that. Remote is a snap to use compared to some other fruit-based units. Should have made the upgrade to this TV sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture at a budget price. I needed to replace the TV we use in the master bedroom and after some research I settled on this model. I'd heard good things about Samsung's QLED line so I was excited to try this one. Our bedroom TV is mostly used for morning news, streaming my wife's reality shows and watching an occasional movie. We usually reserve big movies for the living room where we have a huge TV with huge sound set up. This TV was extremely easy to set up using my Samsung phone but don't worry, even without one the set up is simple. When I was up and going I was immediately impressed with the quality of the picture. The colors are so deep and crisp especially when watching 4k content. I've always used my TVs with a sound bar so can't comment on the built in speakers. Over time I've found the software to be a bit buggy resulting in the occasional app crash but I use it with a 4K fire stick so seldom use apps on the TV. The remote is solar powered and also manually rechargeable, which I found to be a nice touch. Sound adjustments are plentiful to find your ideal sound. My old sound bar did not measure up to the impressive picture so I replaced it with a newer Samsung 5.1 channel system which proved to be the icing on the cake. Since getting this TV we watch more movies in bed because the picture and sound is so good that it rivals the living room set up we previously favored. Overall, I highly recommend getting this TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV with great features. I recently upgraded from a thick 60hz 4K TV to the slim and sleek Samsung QN85C 55” TV and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. The picture quality is outstanding thanks to the MiniLED based QLED HDR technology, which brings out the colors and details of the content I'm watching, making it feel like I'm right in the action. The built-in 60w Dolby Atmos speakers are impressive, especially when I set the Audio mode to "Amplify" and enable "Intelligent mode". The sound fills the room and adds a deeper level of immersion to the viewing experience, thanks to the Object Tracking Sound technology. I'm also excited to try the Q-Symphony 3.0 speaker pairing feature with a soundbar to enhance the audio even further. The smooth 120hz 4K performance via HDMI without any lag or motion blur is a welcome upgrade, and the Neo QLED HDR display works great in both bright and dark rooms, delivering dynamically bright, vivid, and lifelike colors. As someone who values sustainability, I appreciate the solar panel integrated SolarCell TV remote. It's a small but eco-friendly feature that saves me the trouble of buying batteries for the TV remote. The battery life on the remote is also impressive. All in all, the QN85C 55" is high-quality TV with a range of features that pulls me happily in to watch and enjoy more whether alone or with friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bright picture My old TV was a LG OLED. The picture was never bright. After a few years, it developed burn-in where patches of green shadows appeared. LG was no help. We have had a smaller Samsung for years in the bedroom with no issues so decided to get a top of line 55". We are very happy with picture quality and the brightness.

Sports, Soap Operas, Movies and TV series occupy a lot of our free time. We watch record and watch later. Not into games or puzzles. Morning, noon or night you will find us in our easy chairs watching what Good TV has to offer.

I don't see how they could make it any better and the picture is awesome. Hope they made it to last a long time, because I love everything about it. I hooked mine up to a Yamaha receiver for 7.2 surround sound, so I don't know much about how it sounds on its own, but that picture B) WOW !!! I have a 3 seater sofa and 2 rockers , one on each end of sofa on an angle and TV is beautiful from all those angles. This TV rates as one of the best I've ever had. Great job Samsung.

The color, sharpness, and just everything is so much better. My only wish, is that the remote included, was a little more visible in dim lighting. Back lighting would be great. But it really doesn't matter to me since I use my Dish satellite remote, which HAS a back light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Doesn't Care I’m not sure if Samsung will post this. Their guidelines state they won’t post anything about shipping or customer service. That’s the whole point. Their customer service is lacking. What are they trying to hide? I’m not usually a quitter, but I’ve had to cede defeat to Samsung and their Samsung Cares support team. I would like to give a review on the picture quality or discuss how it interfaces with streaming apps. I can’t really comment on that since it worked for less than 2 weeks and has been sitting stagnant on my dining room table for the past 2 months. The television failed very early. The power automatically cycles on and off about every 30 to 45 seconds. The only way to get it to stop is to physically unplug it. There is a common review online regarding a software glitch that causes the unit to power down. This isn’t that kind of problem that can be solved with a software update. This is more like a short circuit that causes an abrupt stop. The screen flashes to a vertical line and shuts off. I suppose it’s nice that it shuts off versus continuing to be powered with an electrical fault, but it’s a little disturbing that it keeps trying to power back up. It feels like a cyclical self-destructive behavior. The QN85C appears to have some known issues. I can only comment on my experience, but I found several common examples online like the software fix mentioned above and let’s just say Samsung support didn’t sound too surprised that my television was powering down. But it’s an early failure, covered under warranty, right? It’s all good because after the failure it powered down and Samsung will make it right, they will follow through with their warranty, right? If you are still reading this, you probably figured out that it’s not that simple. The bureaucracy is strong with them. I worked diligently and methodically followed-up with the support team. I followed their instructions and provided them with all the information they requested. I was getting pretty good at it because they ask for the same information repeatedly. I think their short-term memory is part of their bureaucracy. Perhaps my story will serve as a cautionary tale to others, or perhaps you and learn from my experience and find a way to cut through their barriers to get what you thought you paid for. Unless you live in New York State, because they can’t replace televisions in New York. I’ll get to that. My first piece of advice for anyone trying to navigate the warranty process is to hold onto the broken television. Find a safe corner that you can store it in for a few months. Samsung won’t give you a refund or replacement until they take possession of the defective unit. Assuming you live in a state that does replacements. Seems fair enough, but I think this is their key defense. The longer they delay the warranty process the more likely it is for you to dispose of the broken television, or for it to be unintentionally damaged in some way that would void the warranty. For example, kicking it across the room in frustration after your fifteenth call to their support team. Be patient, be calm, and don’t make this rookie mistake. I naively started my journey by calling Samsung support thinking my claim would be processed and they would send a replacement in a few days. I assumed the damaged unit would be returned and they would help with the logistics. After all, I ordered it online and it only took a few days to be delivered to this very remote and desolate region called New York. That’s not how it works. First you must enter a ticket. Have all of your information available, name, name on account, email on account, phone number, address, model number, serial number. They will give you a ticket number. Keep this ticket with your information. You will need it. It will be on the quiz. And keep track of every call and action you take. Having a record of dates might help. Below is my experience. The wait times are what I was provided when I called There is a 2-day mandatory waiting period after the ticket is submitted before it will be approved. That’s 2 business days. For simplicity, assume all day’s reference below are business days. Wait 2 days and call them back because tickets aren’t submitted the first time. It’s sort of like the DMV, no one passes the first time, don’t take it personally. Wait 2 more days, it’s mandatory. After your ticket is approved, a new ticket will be dispatched to a service company after a mandatory 5 to 7 day waiting period. I originally thought this was a service level, but with my experience it’s become clear that this is a waiting period. A service provider will contact you after your dispatch waiting period. The service provider will schedule an appointment in 7 to 10 days. If you are paying attention, you’ve noticed that the dispatch waiting period was Samsung waiting to contact the service provider. Now the service provider has a waiting period. This could be an actual service level. I wouldn’t know because I live in New York and Samsung doesn’t have a service provider in New York. The purpose of this service is to confirm that your TV is broken and can’t be repaired (see software patch above). In principle this seems fair, except you are a month into the process and still haven’t made any progress. After you determine that there is no service provider, contact Samsung again. Have your information available, you will be quizzed. In preparation for this call try to think of multiple ways to tell them that no service provider has contacted you, that you have no appointment for service. They won’t understand. The ticket has been dispatched and they are waiting for it to be returned with confirmation from the service provider. It’s on you to convince them that you still have a broken television and there is no service provider. They will submit another ticket. Call back after your 2-day mandatory waiting period. At this point you should be elevated to the replacement and exchange group that can authorize a replacement. Have your information available, you will be quizzed. I work in logistics and even I got lost at this point. The original television was delivered in a few days, but the replacement television has to ship from some remote warehouse to the local carrier who will schedule delivery. There is a waiting period to release the order to the warehouse, the warehouse has some period of time to ship the order, there is in transit time, and the local carrier has to receive the unit. At this point, the local carrier can schedule an appointment within 7-10 days. I have no advice for this section of the process, except to stay calm and avoid that rookie mistake. I managed to get one of the last attempted replacement deliveries in New York State. The carrier came from their warehouse in Pennsylvania. They drove across 2 states and arrived with a television that was speared by a fork truck. Somewhere in the above transportation process a fork truck missed the pallet and drove one of the forks through the television. I’m no expert, but I think it’s obvious that a television with a 4” hole isn’t going to work. We didn’t try plugging it in to test that theory. Damage in transit happens, but I can’t make up this next part. The carrier told me that they didn’t cause the damage. That it arrived at their warehouse like that. They scheduled an appointment with me anyways; 7-10 days later. They drove the television across 2 states to show me the fork truck hole. When I asked why they scheduled the appointment and drove all the way here, they told me it was part of the process. They ‘had’ to attempt to make the delivery… 2-days for the carrier to reply to Samsung that the delivery was not completed because the television was damaged. Call Samsung again, have your information and be prepared for the quiz. Be prepared to explain that your television has not been replaced, that you still have the paperweight on your dining room table. The safest place I could find, I mean, who uses their dining room table. They will submit another ticket. Wait your 2-day mandatory waiting period for the ticket to be approved and call back. Somewhere along this point Samsung will admit they’ve been having trouble with their service in your area and will attempt to authorize you for a refund. This might not be as wonderful as it sounds, but it’s probably the best you will get. I assume like most people I purchased my new paperweight while it was on sale during the holidays. I can’t get a replacement television at that price anymore. But the cost difference is less than the repair kit that’s online, and if you do your own service, you will void the warranty. So you must resist this temptation and just recover as much as you can. This is a life lesson after all, and they aren’t free. This is where I am. I can’t get an exchange and I don’t have a refund yet. I’ve submitted my request and I’m in my 2-day waiting period for it to be approved. At some point I might laugh at this, and I am curious to see how it turns out. This last part makes me laugh. I won’t get my refund after it’s approved. Samsung wants the broken television back before they issue a refund. Fair enough. At this point I’m willing to hand deliver it. I’m told the process is that after my 2-day waiting period they will dispatch, 5 to 7 days, a carrier to schedule a pick-up in 7 to 10 days. I will be provided with a signed Bill of Lading. I can then send them a copy of the Bill of Lading and they will issue a refund in one of 4 inconvenient ways; they are going to let me choose which option. The problem is, I still live in New York State.

I was replacing an older Samsung and wanted the best tv for a reasonable price so I finally, after driving myself crazy decided on the Samsung 55” Neo LED. So far I’m extremely I’m impressed with the amazing picture quality at a great price and very happy with my decision.

The display has rich and VIBRANT colors, with tons of input options for sources like game consoles, etc. It integrates nicely with the Samsung sound bar I have and has the ability to control the device remotely from a phone if the remote gets eaten by the couch monster! There are only a few minor nitpicky details about this TV that I share only for the sake of complete transparency. 1.) Game Mode gets stuck on sometimes which reduces the number of display features I can mess with greatly. Not the end of the world but a minor annoyance. 2.) There are a few times where blues look burned in from being over-saturated, but that is likely a result of my settings rather than something inherent to the display. 9.75/10 Buy this TV for sure!

Want to add a Bluetooth speaker and will look into if my TV can has Bluetooth and is,and is, to pair with the speaker. I love my new TV sooio much. Samsung products are beyond amazing. Getting ready to purchase and S24 Ultra too.
