Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around value for quality TV I'm not a huge gamer or a live sports fan -- I just wanted a relatively high quality good value TV. I replaced a ~7 year old 50" Samsung with this 55" 4K Samsung and have been very satisfied so far. The ease of setup and picture quality are great. I was surprised with how light and thin the unit was. It took me a bit to figure out how to disable all the built-in software (I don't like the "smart tv" features, and instead prefer my Apple TV), but once I did it's been smooth sailing.

As a lifelong samsung consumer, any device i get never fails to live up to quality standards, and i expect no less when it comes to technologies like Smart TVs. A crips sharp 4k display quality with the greenest of greens. With an audio receiver that brings a near theater-like experience to you, it makes Gamedays even more fun like youre on the field! Then when it comes time to catch up on shows i missed, i dont need extra devices, the smart tv has all the apps! And it brings out the best performance ive ever seen for my xbox as well. Full 4k hdr display with seamless 60fps shots makes the gameplay that much more fun. This tv will keep me in awe forever, and i cant wait til my next purchase in the next leap of technological advances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love all Samsung products! I absolutely love all Samsung products and rarely do I ever buy a different brand. I bought this TV because of the new Playstation 5 that is out. The picture is outta this world and I've never seen such vivid colors on other TV's like the colors are on this one. I mainly use my TV for gaming purposes, as I'm not really a watching TV kinda person. But when I do I stream Netflix, Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, Xfinity On-demand or HBOMAX to watch movies on. Sometimes I swear the people in the movies look like they are so real. As I am a gamer of Sony's Playstation 4 and 5, my games look unbelievable and so real, that sometimes I'm just waiting for a zombie or a monster from one of my games to come popping outta my TV at me. I am a loyal customer of any and all things Samsung. I also currently have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Note Ultra 5G phone, a Samsung S4 Tablet and I've recently ordered the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus 5G tablet just the other day. I'm awaiting it's arrival as we speak and I'm very excited to see what it looks like and also finding out everything it can do. If your looking for a great TV whether it's to watch regular cable or movies on or you happen to be a gamer of any console and are looking for a TV that is well worth the money it costs but is also gonna last you years and years and years to come, this is the TV for you. If it gave an option to rate it 1-5 stars, I'd rated a 100 stars.

The most disappointing feature is the remote control. Sometimes we have to put the channel in four or five times before it picks up the numbers correctly. It also cuts out the sound sometimes. I am not sure if it is due to the cable connection or the TV. Some good features, some not so good.

It's amazing how it stuns with high brightness on sunny days. The TV can be used for any occasion from watching sports to movies to kids shows. When the quality of the show or movie is good, the TV really blooms!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic color I won't lie, I was bummed to find a dead pixel when I received the unit. However, with a screen this size, some dead pixels are expected. And from a distance, you don't even notice the pixel. Now, with the bad out of the way... Wow! This TV has been fantastic!! I even paired it with the Q800A Soundbar and the Q-Symphony is amazing! The picture clarity and the HDR10+ give this TV a beautiful and deep picture. Then, to top it off, it has HDMI 2.1 so you can game on the new consoles at 120fps at 4k. Unfortunately, a lot of the new games don't take advantage of that display. But, it still looks beautiful!

And it is our very first “smart” tv. Quite happy with our choice. Have bought before and will but again. Nice quality product.

The picture quality was remarkable the way you can still see the TV screen whether you are to the far left or the far-right that the screen was amazing. Seamlessly connected to my phone on my laptop I can stream movies easily. The hookups and connectors in the back of the TV more simple and there were a lot of them so I can hook up my surround sound and many other features to the TV. For a 55 inch it seemed very light and much bigger then just to 55 inches. Overall I was very pleased with the TV I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 55” Q70A I do a little bit of everything on this tv as some of the best streaming apps are already pre-installed like watch YouTube, Netflix, Hulu etc. Occasionally I play video games and with this TV’s 120Hz refresh rate the picture is UNBELIEVABLE haven’t seen anything this clean/clear anywhere not even at displays in stores. This TV is actually thinner than a 1 subject notebook which looks incredible. The remote is actually insane with tons of features I’ve yet to even try out, some cool things it can do is solar charge or plug in so no more batteries, voice commands, and you can also map your own buttons with some apps. You can even go as far as using your own cell phone to control your TV by simply downloading the app “Smart Things”. I’m truly enjoying everything so far and would truly recommend to anyone who asks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful picture Absolutely beautiful picture and you can see it from all angles. Negative is that the TV now has an almost constant ticking noise after it's turned off. I'm not happy as it can be loud. I'm in the process of discussions with the retailer I purchased it from as it's not been 30 days. I like that it has the Samsung App and that I can load the app from my TV provider Spectrum. What I don't like is that because I am using the APP I don't have a Cable or over the air provider so the TV defaults to the Samsung control page. Apps are slow to load. I started to use the AppleTV App which was great till I realized I can't load a premium channel Viki to it that way, where I can to an physical Apple TV or on my iPad Pro Apple TV app. Thus I purchased a physical Apple TV 4 K. Remote is great in that it can also control my Apple TV 4k and vs versa. I like that there is cable management but the ethernet and HDMI cables are either too small or too big and there should be channels in the TV for where the cables go from horizontal to vertical. I'd buy it again provided the nose issue is rectified, if not I'm not going to be a happy camper

Really? Don't be ridiculous. But I can't lie . . all other features being relatively equal . . the TV Plus sealed the deal for me. Embryotic cord cutter here. Moved to a new state and was searching for something new. Discarded DirecTV and said hello to Samsung apps! The picture is sensational and I haven't experienced any bugs referenced in online reviews. Life's been pretty perfect with the TV these past three months. I stream movies, tv shows, docs. Airplay from my mac. Interplay apps on a regular basis. Paramount+ misbehaved once. I deleted and reinstalled it and all's been well. That's it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broken product. i was excited to get this tv, when i got it and open the box their was a line on the screen, i plugged on the tv and it was broken in the top. i was furious, called customer they told was very nice sent the return label and told me when they get the tv back they will refund my original paymeny method...nope... when samsung received the product i got an email saying i will get my refund in 10 business days after they complete their investigation...10 days i have to wait before i can reorder a tv that i got broken.

I remember when we first got it it took a few weeks to get used to the picture it was sonreal looking. Last 3 TV's we bought have been Samsung. We like to be able to sync with our other Samsung products.

I find the quality of the clarity of the picture very good, but there is some serious need for major improvements in both the audio and the remote control!! Audio is very uneven in the levels of volume during a movie, fluctuating far outside of the spectrum of the video feed. Often having to move the volume control to 100, just to hear a program when the tv is 5 feet away from my head! Then, when a commercial comes on it practically blows the speakers and I must quickly 'mute' the volume until returning to the program!! Additionally, your computer only recognizes a select group of optical audio external compatibility. I personally use audio headsets for part of my evenings programming, but your computer chip doesn't recognize intentionally acclaimed external equipment like "Sennheiser" headphones!! As far as the remote control, it is poorly designed from what I have experienced so far in usage! How poorly alone is the fact that ALL volume functions are controlled with one very small lever device, that will likely be junk within a year!!!!! Additionally, your remote design reduced buttons by placing multiple functions within select buttons. This creates multiple misapplications of functions while attempting to watch programming. I will admit that I am still a beginner at mastering this units capabilities and functions, but I'm not exactly pleased with instructional documentation, 'without' using a voice command computer to dictate my usage or programming.

Bought thru Amazon and followed Amazon’s fix recommendation, but to no avail. Have reset TV multiple times! Netflix loads on three other Samsung's in house, so obviously a Tv issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The qled 4k hdr is amazing! I use the q70a for everything gaming, watch TV shows or videos, and have done work on it as well. For using a qled for the first time I made the right choice with this TV. The 4k hdr has such great quality the brightness and vibrancy that comes off the TV provides such amazing picture quality. For gaming this is the TV you would want it has such low refresh rates, 120hz, vrr, and hdmi 2.1 all the things you would want as a gamer. It plays games really smooth while providing amazing pictures. The viewing angle of the TV isn't bad either. Overall this TV is really good and worth the buy.

And surprisingly, although similar specs everything about it feels and works better than the tv is replacing. The remote control is probably the most aesthetically pleasing design I have seen and its functionality is intuitive. Thank you for a great product, looking forward for years of entertainment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal TV Upgraded TV purchase from a 2017 MU6290 This TV has been easy to setup with my Xfinity Flex box, Soundbar with eARC and Xbox Series X. I never experienced HDR looking so colorful and bright before till now. I've heard the Q70T had issues with HDR but looked in depth. The HDR on this TV with games and movies (Netflix) has been incredible. Upscaling has been awesome to witness as well on local TV content like the news and even apps like Peacock for movies and wrestling. I think the only con I had was turning on VRR on my Series X and had some flickering issues but it only occurred in Cyberpunk during the black screen cutscenes so I'm not sure if it is a game issues or VRR from the TV. Regardless, I feel like it is effective on 120Hz games and still feel like the color and resolution pops in this mode after proper calibration in Game Mode.

I was familiar with Samsung products as I always had a Samsung phone and was very pleased with them. This TV was comparably priced with other brands, so based on the features offered, customer reviews and the price, I chose this TV. After receiving the TV, installation instructions were very easy and in no time I was watching my new TV which has a beautiful picture and a great sound system. The TV comes with a rechargeable Smart Remote which means no more batteries! Very satisfied with my purchase.

The picture is bright and large, the colors are good, the overall quality is good.. The sound-bar (A650) is excellent for overall sound and for clarity of voices; its bass is variable, even with subwoofer. For the TV, the picture, although better than past LCD's, is weak on shadow detail and on variable sharpness within a picture--the picture is often overly sharp, so movies look like videotape. Within a picture, there are often areas sharply focused while other areas are slightly fuzzy. This is disturbing. One wishes for greater control over the sound, and the colors, and the focus, which are, even within "expert", insufficient in detail. The biggest problem is the remote control, which is supposed to be all things but fails at its promise. Worse, one has to switch controls to control the entire set-up: the TV, the sound-bar, and the cable box. Switching controls is a vast irritation as is trying to remember all the items controlled by the remote but which are not obvious. In other words, there are too many "hidden" things the remote controls. Remembering them and how to get to them is a pain. A larger control with more buttons would be preferable, especially if it could be made into a universal control. This last is promised by the manual but is not realized in actual use. All in all, the sound-bar is a B+/A-, the TV is a B/B-.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good TV, Terrible Remote the tv is good for the most part. 4k and color is pretty much the same as last year's models, little darker maybe. when the screen is on but all black there are random grey areas, uneven panel possibly. 120htz functions. the remote is horrendous. this solar charged remote is junk, i've had the tv for about 3 weeks and had to charge the remote 5 times, it's not much but still 2 batteries would last way longer. buttons suck,wanna watch tv? it's up to the remote to decide if it will let you (power button works nothing else will). overall the only reason i got this thing is for 4k 120htz gaming and half the time i can't use it. not worth the money.

This TV is the best hands down by a long shot. Compared to others we have owned in the past. The sound is amazing , it almost makes you feel like you are in a theater, due to the directional sound system it has built in. Therefore making the sound as if it's all around you !! Even behind you on certain scenes! The picture quality 4K is absolutely perfect. The shows seem so realistic as if they are in front of you because the picture is so clear and crisp. It has a lighting and darkening mode that makes the parts of the pic stand out that should and darkens in areas that need it the most. We could not have picked a better TV, my only regret is not buying a bigger one than this one ! But that will be our next goal is a bigger screen size so that we will feel like we actually are in the theater. We host alot of UFC parties and Football get togethers so this is going to be the best year yet being able to watch it on our new Samsung 4K QLED 55 in the living room. Plus I have it set it really cute too so that is a plus for us ladies. Lol I definitely reccomend this TV to anyone.

I'll watch video seminars as well for school which I stream quite often. When it does connect to wifi it streams well but that only happens when I Hotspot it off of my phone it will not sync or link to my xfinity account for some reason

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is progress I got this TV to replace my 10 year old Samsung 3D TV. I use my TV for music, movies, sports and games. My friends and I both think that my old TV has a better picture. That TV pushed 240hz refresh rate.. crystal clear, even when something is moving fast across the screen. Although several websites said this TV did 240hz, It did not, only 120hz at best. Even worse 60hz while watching it in 4k. The menu is flat,boring, and hard to navigate. It skips back to square one every time you hit the back button. The very limited apps are in a straight line where scrolling takes longer than ever. Smart things needs to be able to connect with smart things. I should be able to adjust everything with an administrative login page on my phone or tablet without cutting completely out of the picture and sound that is being adjusted. When you set up a Samsung surround sound system in the ARC port it should Work correctly. My TV has forgotten how to control the stereo several times. The TV should be an extension of my phone and vice versa. If it wasn't for the Google Assistant, nothing would connect. Bixby would rather search for some irrelevant thing on the Web then play a movie from an app on the screen. My old remote had a back light on it and the buttons lit up, I loved that thing. Voice activation on this needs to work if that is the main improvement. I loved my old TV, I thought this new one would blow me away. Now I just ask myself if this is progress?

This TV really has a great picture and sound quality is tops. I have some hearing and my hearing aids connect directly to the TV using an adapter that was purchased separately. We do a little streaming and it is super simple to switch from TV to and from a streaming source. Did I mention that you can control the TV using voice commands on the remote.

When programmed into a Xfinity remote or the Samsung remote, the remote turns off the auto power sensing on the soundbar! I need to have the Vizio remote on standby to override it! Love the picture though!

I've had a 73" projector for years and it was a good TV unless you count replacing the bulb every year. A friend recommended Samsung TVs he's had one for a couple of years, and he loves it. So I broke down an bought me one for my birthday. The picture is so clear, sound is exceptional. I do miss the 73" but in reality the 55" is more than suitable for the size of the room. And to be blunt, I should have bought a Samsung FLatscreen a long time ago.

The picture is just as crisp as it was the first day I turned it on with absolutely no degradation. It's thin, was easily mounted using a generic wall mount, but best of all has to be the speakers. After my last thin TV I was expecting to have to buy an additional sound bar, but no. With my previous TV I was regularly turning the volume up to 75+ out of 100 just to get normal sound. This QLED 4K, despite being shockingly thin, has amazing speakers. I regularly play movies and music at 15 out of 100. On a rare occasion I might turn it up to 30 but at that point it's almost too noisy. Never have I listened to this TV with the sound above 60 out of 100. The remote is intuitive to work one-handed and has great battery life. This is an absolute must buy.

No lag and easy to navigate. Samsung tv is a nice free feature to be able to watch live tv as well. As far as gaming goes, the HDR works great and the clarity is good. I love how the tv automatically changes to game mode once it's changed to the proper HDMI. The blacks are dark but with some distortion. So that could be a little better and the frame rates for gaming are good but not great. Overall a good well rounded 4k tv for most everyone.

After a long hard day at work we unwind in front of the sharpest beautiful picture we've ever had. Along with the Samsung sound bar the entire viewing experience is second to none. We stream movies and watch popular programming but what our tv does mainly lately is allow us to view all the old black and white westerns that my husband loves clearer and more in focus than previous brand televisions. The controls and settings are easy to use & allows me to customize my screen just how I like it.

The picture is sharp and the contrast allows me to watch the tv whenever I want day or night. The only real negative is the sound quality, the tv itself does generate great sound so I recommend a sound bar. I purchased mine along with the TV (also a Samsung). But the functionality doesn’t always allow for a great sound or the music plays a lot louder than the voice. Still playing around with the settings to improve. Again Picture is great and connectivity is also good over wifi or hardwire connections to other devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cumbersome to use The only reason I bought this tv because I needed one with a stand in the center since the piece of furniture to place a tv with 2 end stands is not wide enough.That being said, I can not stand this tv as it is not user friendly at all. There are so many APPS to get through that come up on the screen when the tv is turned on. It is impossible to just scroll up and down on the remote to choose a new channel - you need to press home and go to the guide, as there are no numbers to input a specific channel on the remote So cumbersome and time consuming. I have 3 other Samsung Smart TVs in my home, but this one is filled with too much stuff on the screen that I would never use. A big disappointment for my needs. .

The fact that it has a mode designed just for gaming is what made me say I'm definitely getting this! It supports my new console and makes my games run as smooth as possible! Another cool feature is how easy it is to cast something I'm watching on my phone onto the TV. I knew the picture was amazing before I took the Q70A home but what I did t know was how easy the setup would be and how awesome it would integrate with my home theater/smart home system. The entire experience has been seamless and intuitive inparticularly when I brought Smart things into the mix. I have two Samsung TVs in the same room with the Q800 Soundbar (I won't even get into how amazing the theater quality sound of that is) and I can operate each device effortlessly from my phone quickly and efficiently. I normally have buyers remorse after spending money on something but I can honestly say I have none here.

We did our research and came up with the Q led Q70 from Samsung.boy were we surprised Q led had so many options it’s amazing.the picture is so clean and clear,the speakers on the tv sounded better than any other tv we looked at.the weight of the tv was less than the older 40”.very easy install and easy operation of all features.I’ve always bought Samsung electronics and have never been disappointed.we purchased a Samsung wireless sound bar with the wireless sub woofer as I previously said the tv has great sound alone but with the sound bar kit it sounds like a home theater in our bedroom.we even bought another Q led Q70 65” for the living room a month after purchasing the 55”.I’ll always recommend and buy Samsung electronics for our home.don’t be fooled by the competitors,buy Samsung for years of trouble free operation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV for the price! I bought my first Samsung TV in 2015 and loved it but this one is leaps ahead of it (obviously) being the 2021 model. I love the built in Samsung software with Bixby included and all the sleep mode features that turn the TV to a space for displaying art. I also appreciate the 4 HDMI ports with the gaming port that allows the TV to increase the refresh rate for better gaming experience. Most of the wearable products I own are Samsung and it's great to be able to control the TV through the Smart Things app. I will say though, Samsung adds a lot of features to the TV that I just don't use but thats just me. Picture quality overall is awesome for the series and I don't personally notice a lack of quality when viewing the screen at an angle versus head on.

Because I and other seniors like me have had eye surgery removing cataracts several years ago, this screen setup I've been able to make is nothing short of miraculous! The difficulty I always suffered with other screens had a lot to do with seeing darker scenes. I understand that this is a common problem with seniors after cataract removal. We need bright light to read a book and have trouble watching a show depicting characters portrayed in a nighttime scene. This problem has been resolved with the combination of settings available in this topnotch setup of available settings only found in this set. I know because I've tried many, many others. I highly recommend this Samsung to seniors!

The picture quality I think is better than any other TV in it's class and maybe a few larger TV's made by other companies. I have it paired with my Sonos system, so between the picture and the sound, I feel like I am in the movie or whatever I watch. A really great TV.

I had given up on TVs and had switched to a projector but I don't think I'll go back to a projector after using this TV the picture quality is so good

Especially with a xbox series x. I love the Samsung menu and apps. I also really enjoy the mirror feature, I can stream what's on my phone directly to the Samsung q70a. This TV is really all I'll ever need and the price is spot on. I try to buy samsung products whenever I can. The qualities there. I highly recommend it.

This replaces an 11 yo LG that was good but you can’t beat a smart TV. I also got a great price on a Samsung sound bar. I’ve had this a little over 4 months and I’m still just as excited as I was after the Geek Squad hung it perfectly on my wall.

No other devices in the house have issues connecting to the network. Fails to connect to internet about 80% of the time I turn it on and if it doesnt work after 5-10 minutes of trying, I usually just give up. Will be returning the product soon. I've worked with Samsung tech support 4 times and still having issues.

I see what I’ve been missing! The color clarity and sound is mesmerizing! I’m 46 years old and still an online gamer, in my spare time. The way this tv shows EVERY detail. Especially when watching live events or nature shows! The Wi-Fi/digital antennas are so strong, I ended my cable subscription. It streams so smoothly. I just watch Samsung Tv. Who needs cable with this tv? Even old westerns that my 70 yr old mother loves, plays clearly. The setup was as simple as turning on a pc. I haven’t found a flaw yet. I’m just a guy from the Bronx, who loves his tv. It makes my living room look so alive and inviting. Great job Samsung!!!

The picture quality for gaming is amazing...using an Xbox series x and have the 4k and game mode setup and man games are beautiful. Watching YouTube and movies is an experience and easy to watch for hours. Downside...to many pre installed apps and features I wish I can removed...not the easiest to get new apps...but otherwise such an amazing tv.

It gets fingerprints on it every easy they are not easy to get off. 2: Smart connect was auto connecting to my Samsung phone S20FE 5G everytime I moved or set down my phone. To the point where I had to turn it off. 3: The tv outside seemed to be weak around the edges. Could have had some kind of protection like stanless steal or carbon fiber. Just moving the TV when on the stand or I assume if it was mounted you could bend the 0utter rim in or pull it out. The Good! 1: TV plays in 120 fps on my Playstion 5 when I play fortnite. Feel like this will be asked alot with gaming. 2: The picture quaility is amazing. I have hsd this tv over 5 months and havent had any holes or lines in it. I game 7-8 hours a day on it for the last 5 months. 3: TV has smart features and the can download all the newest apps. You can also connect it to a lan cable. 4: The TV will look great no matter where you put it. The slim sheek look and black in color makes it easy to hide or show depending on your preference. 5: The price. I bought this for MSRP and it was a great price in my opinion. Especially for all the features and look. Plus its high quailty parts inside. Samsung never lets me down. This is coming from someone who always bought everything motorola. Overall it has its good and bad. But im happy wth my purchase.

At the end of the day, I can relax with my partner and watch lots of movies and TV series in amazing quality without ever disappointing.

I really like the free Samsung TV channels, they're good enough to replace basic cable. I like the intelligent sound and picture quality, and how it makes everything look like it's in HD (or tries to at least) even if it isn't. I only wish I'd gotten a bigger screen.

I researched online that it’s normal, something to do with the temperature, but it’s a bit annoying. Had to buy a small fan. But the TV looks AMAZING. I feel like I have a mini Cinema in my room with my 55”. Oh! And the remote is battery-less because it’s solar! Nice! I don’t really use it though because I use an AppleTv to control the TV and all my media. Thanks Samsung, you’re product is awesome…except for the minor crackling sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth the time this is the 2nd tv i ordered from samsung. i never expected two units to have "bent" frames. seriously, the frames were bent. i can't understand this. it's such a hassle to box these back up and you have to schedule a pickup to return and they have no clue what they're picking up. this new tv was not only bent but has dead pixels or dust in the screen. i have scheduled a repair request with samsung but believe this will only be another disappointment. the only way they can make this right is to come pick up this tv themselves, send me a "perfect" replacement as well as unboxing and hookup to my stand or just refund my money cause i am done with samsung. i know times are tough but this is very unprofessional and not what i expected. i will be looking elsewhere. buyer beware.

It has a much brighter and crisper picture than our old old and since it is for the bedroom we didn’t need a lot of bells and whistles. This one is working our great. It did take a bit to get it connected to our network but now that it is we are very happy with it.

I was very impressed with the colour and realistic lighting and contrast, the QLed 4k display really makes you feel like you're in the middle of the action! I use mine mainly for streaming movies, rarely for video games but still a given plus, it makes everything look amazing and the smoothness and automatic brightness adjustment frame by frame really slaps that "smart" sticker on Smart TV. It's made movie night an event to look forward to for the lady and me, couldn't be happier, CHEERS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV for price range Have enjoyed this TV. Easy to set up. I installed this on a wall mount, movable mounting structure. Setting up the TV was easy after getting use to the remote and the menu options. Sound quality was better than expected for the location. Great picture quality. Issues: I could not attach to my sound system. Unless you have a sound bar or a newer sound system that offers HDMI ARC, or possibly optical connections you may be disappointed. Tried Bluetooth with remote speakers, but latency was an issue and settings could not resolve so I removed them. Kind of sad moment. If big sound is what you want, plan ahead. Some searches for apps, streaming music was challenging at best. For one streaming station I finally attached our Roku. Also a bit disappointing for an otherwise great smart TV.

The picture is the BEST picture I have ever seen on a 55" TV and I upgrade my TV's every few years. My headphones sync with the TV when they are turned on, I just have to click one button to connect- So easy!

Streaming services work great. Love the Samsung channels. Works great with Apple air play from the wife's iPad. Am using the optical audio out to send to a set of speakers and works great for those action movies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right I purchased my TV about a year ago to replace my lesser quality 55" in my living room. This tv does everything I would ever need it to. I use it for gaming and to mirror video off my Samsung phone through smart view, while my wife loves the built in YouTube app. We also have our cable providers app without needing a box due to this awesome television being able to have sooo many apps installed. My ONLY true gripe is the need for a specialty mounting bracket to hang it on the wall. The mount I had for my last 3 TVs was the same but for some reason this TV requires a very specific mount for hanging. I decided to just sit it on our stand instead. Total recommend this amazing device to anyone looking for a new device.

Movie streaming, video games even as a monitor for my computer to show a presentation for work. The picture and sound is amazing. Everything super clear. A feature i truly enjoy is the smart view and the compatibility between devices making everything easily acceptable. Been able to do several thing with the double screen is also a plus. For instance, I could watch 2 different sporting activity at once. For the price range, this TV is a definite must have. I have not even touch the surface of this television. every day i find something different and amazing about it. I would highly recommend this TV to everybody. You would not be disappointed.

It was suggested to us based on it's performance in bright rooms with lots of natural light and it shows when viewing. Even during the day with tons of sunlight shining in the living room, the picture still looks sharp and is so much better that any other TV we have had! The features of all the countless numbers of apps, the Samsung TV channels, the ease of screen mirroring, etc. It is full of everything and is so nice to be able to have everything in one place, on one device and not needing any cables or cords to hook up to anything for all of your viewing, streaming, mirroring, or listening needs! Would definitely recommend!

The main reason I watch television is to enjoy a good story: comedy, rom-com (for my wife), novels as movies, and other genres which interest us. As impressed as I was with the built-in speakers of this tv, I wished to hook it up to my legacy stereo system. Alas, there was no RCA or headphone jack on this model. This meant buying a new preamplifier to take advantage of the Optical Output offered. The sound is stellar. I can experience the highest notes and, feel the lowest ones as well. This makes for a fantastic viewing experience. We love the Smart features of this set. It's easy to watch any type of show on any available network. The setup is seamless and complete. I feel like we are in total control of our television experience.

I love the ease of use and inter-activeness of the apps. Whatever problems occurred (which was the malfunction of two apps, i.e. Paramount + and Tubi, was easily fixed by deleting the apps and reinstalling them). And I like the fact that I don't seem to have a worry about the TV's function . . It is my first time buying a Sasung . . having purchased Sonys all my life . . and I feel more confident every day. I've had the TV now for three months and all's well. It's just that even though the picture is great . . I was expecting it to POP like a TCL I saw (but didn't trust the company enough to buy). Overall the TV is still the best I've ever had . . so there's that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 4K TV the 55" class q70a has what i needed: a central pedestal so i could clamp it to a rolling table, built-in wifi so i could stream wherever in the house i rolled it, and support for over-the-air free tv with an antenna. i'm happy with the picture, the sound, and the remote control.

That being I own Xbox Series X and Playstation pro these systems manage to be enhanced with help of Model 70A. The use of Stream services asPeacock,Netflix,Disney,Hulu,Apple,many others. I've enjoyed the viewing of shows of all kinds,movies of all kinds,concert shows as well as other related material that look stunning when viewing on Model 70A. The over all feelings here for me are the fact I could actually make use of internet in writing Samsung is kinda cool, the Solar remote is nice and simple to figure out. This is first kinda television to own in sometime the design looks well put together as well as many features leaves me continue to believe that success is, in strengthing people like that of myself know whole team individuals makes products that have imaginations to all of kinds of people wanting to see something different out here I did. The Model 70A is just a complete exprience viewing all forms of entertainment forms movies music so much I'm sold for all this than some thank you for sure.

Also it has many features, I use it for watch Blu-Ray & DVD’s movies, also connects to the Apple TV. One thing I don’t like is sometimes the picture too light/white & I can’t adjust to more black/darker.

However, this tv and his previous tv (also a Samsung) have the same annoying trait. His tv is connected to the internet wirelessly, and every other time he turns it on it wants to connect to a wired connection. It only takes a moment to correct but I shouldn't have to do it at all after the initial setup.

This TV with it's simple to understand remote, i.e. not too many buttons, makes the ever changing streaming service world easy to navigate. Set up was also easy and fairly straight forward.

Along with my surround sound this tv is amazing during movies too. You think your in the movie. We watched our first movie with it just hooked up tv only and the sound is beautiful my wife said. So i suggest to everyone go get one for yourself and see its an awesome tv. I am so glad i got it. Thank you to the retailer for this jewel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love My TV I bought this TV as a Christmas gift for myself. I did a lot of research and I decided that this would be a great value for my money. I have not been disappointed in the quality of the TV. The picture is clear and detailed and is quite amazing, especially for watching movies. I also bought a Samsung soundbar which makes everything sound awesome. The main issue I have with it is the remote control. I hate it. It is difficult to use and way more complicated than I have the patience for. I have also had difficulty connecting / using an antenna and figuring out how to cast from my phone / computer / chromebook. That's probably a "me" issue and not an issue with the tv but an easier interface for less tech savvy people would be welcome. Overall, I would highly recommend the Samsung QLED. It is a huge step up from my plasma TV and the details are great. It is exactly what I wanted for my living room viewing!

Only reason I give it 4 stars is because anytime the TV is black screen there are very visible white spots all over. Not sure if this is because of the edge lit or not but it I've never had this issue on low budget tvs.

The 4k and hdr creates a nice crisp and vibrant picture when watching TV, movies, and playing video games. The sound quality without a sound bar is amazing especially with the amplify feature makes it louder. When it comes to gaming this is the TV you want. With its 2.1 hdmi it can support the newest gen consoles and run them at 60-120hz. The latency is very low, can't even notice it and it's optimized gaming features are very customizable to fit your needs. The TV also works great as a second monitor with vrr enable you won't have any problems with your pc. Better colors, bigger size, and optimal work flow to fit your needs with the q70a. Overall this TV is a must get.

I also use it for gaming, and the 4K output is awesome. The only down side is that it doesn't have HDR12 or Dolby Vision, but it is a slightly older TV. When paired with a Samsung around bar it is even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TV for the Price I bought my Samsung tv for gaming mainly but I use it for streaming and movie nights as well, the picture is wonderful and it starts up super fast!! The best part is thanks to it's smart features it automatically detects what devices I have hooked up, be it an Xbox or Playstation or even my PC. The 4K screen is crystal clear and makes watching Netflix so much better. Even lower resolution shows are upscaled to look even better. And when I'm not using my TV for anything the ambient mode makes it match the rest of my room decor and it looks like a picture I've hung up. All in all it's an awesome TV and I don't see myself using another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Picture quality and features This tv is great. I had a previous samsung fail on me but these qled are much better. Basically this is samsungs version of Oled. Amazing lifelike picture, fast wifi, and tons of features. Apps work great and no lag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Use it every day and love the Google assistant integration. Interface and UI are smooth and getting to Netflix or any streaming platform is only one flick away. Colors are deep and vibrant. The TV looks beautiful especially when wall mounted. Looks like a very colorful flush giant portrait. Movies look crisp and the contrast is one of the best I've seen. Highly recommend!

MY NEIGHBORS THAT HAVE OBSERVED THE QUALITY OF THIS UNIT ARE ALSO IN AWE AND SOME ARE VERY JEALOUS. I SUSPECT THAT THEY WILL ALSO BE LOOKING MORE CLOSELY AT SAMSUNG FOR THEIR NEXT PURCHASE. THE TV HAS PRODUCED 'NO' PROBLEMS SINCE I'VE PURCHASED IT. ADDITIONALLY, I'M ALSO INTRIGUED WITH THE INTERNET CAPABILITY, AS WELL AS THE STATION LINE-UP'S BUILT INTO THE SYSTEM. OVERALL, I CAN CONFIDENTLY STATE THAT I CONSIDER THE BEST TELEVISION THAT I'VE EVER OWNED AND I'VE OWNED COUNTLESS TV'S OVER THE PAST SIX DECADES!!!!! It's crisp and clear. I also play video games on it as well and my games look beautiful as well. It has so many features that I explore on it. My favorite is the easy to use remote and the voice command. It is a all around good TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great midrange tv I bought my Samsung - 55" Class Q70A about 3month ago I got mine from bestbuy it was open package so they brought price down 680 from 950 at that time of purchase overall I've been very happy with the picture and especially the color I use RTatings suggestions for setting so far only my only real complaint is since this year they change it from full back lighting to edge lighting that in dark all black pictures there are some ghosting which wasn't there in the previous year model all and all for what I paid I'm very pleased with tv it's great for gaming and really anything you could want out of tv id definitely suggest the tv as I said only real downside is this year they made this tv side lite when last year model was full array back lite

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing tv with beautiful picture....! i upgraded from the 50" Q60 to the55" Q70A and i couldn't be happier.. more colors, more contrast, a user-friendly interface, great for streaming. I also like the stand in the middle as opposed to the two outer legs, I was able to install Yamaha soundbar and you can't even see the stand or the cables.. Folks, do not hesitate for a minute, I highly recommend this tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly one year old and dead pixels appear. I've only had this TV for a year. Picture is meh. I don't watch much television, so it didn't matter. Now, after just one year, there are a chunk of dead pixels. And it just fell out of warranty. I'm so bummed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sharp TV! This tv has a very sharp and clear picture. Set up was super easy with my Samsung phone. All I had to do was plug it and with the push of a button, the set up did it's thing. It also pairs easily with the Samsung soundbar. The settings and remote are user friendly. I do wish the remote was lit for better night navigation. Apps can be downloaded with ease. Great tv! (#SamsungTV2023Insiders)

I am an avid gamer and have android and apple devices and this TV easily integrates and interacts with most of them. I recommend this highly.
