Don't trust Samsung direct to respect you as a consumer. Buy from the big box store and have peace of mind knowing you can return the device if needed.

The only thing keeping this from a five star rating is the inability to download some streaming apps. The Big 10 Network and other sporting networks are among those that are not available on Samsung TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Samsung Frames I now have 3 Samsung Frames TV’s. I started with the 65”, then added an 85”. I just purchased a 55” for our quasi exercise/office room (converted bedroom). We love the Frame, because in addition to the quality and features, it also provides a “framed” art piece, and isn’t just a large black rectangle hanging on the wall. I did notice the most recent Frame had features which apparently are not available on my previous Frame TV’s, namely the Daily +, which provides exercise routines. This works out for our purposes, but since it is likely software/links, I am not sure why it is not available on previous versions .

I wish it had a bigger metal frame on the outside when watching TV as it looks like a poster board right now. And the only other thing is, I wish it had a better sound system or add-ons we could’ve bought with it to enhance the sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a real letdown I was so excited for this tv. As a designer, the aesthetic quality of the room always felt compromised by the large black rectangle on the wall. The Samsung Frame was supposed to change all that. But the picture quality is just terrible. It's very blotchy in the black values and the color balance is so bad. I've messed with nearly every setting, read the forumns and have called customer service many times for help, but its never been successfully remedied. Wondering if I got a lemon...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture Quality Alwats Top Notch The only reasons I purchased and kept my Samsung Frame 55" TV. 1) Samsung TV, are quality TVs. 2) Picture Quality always great clarity. 3.) I have purchased Samsung TVs for the last 16 years with excellent success. My first was purchasewas the Hisense Frame 55" TV it was on sale and less expensive. I don't regret the Hisense purchase, due to the fact this TV had a better long remote with a back light for night and a beautiful color remote and comfortable to hold. The Hisense accessories were better, no additional cost for the art, and the frame included. Also included a two year warranty. The Hisense TV picture quality was the deal breaker for me. I'm spoiled by Samsung picture quality. The Samsung Frame 55" looks smaller when the frame is attached. The Frame 65" maybe a better choice for size and looks. The Samsung art is yummy to look at, I sit with a glass of wine and feel so relaxed and serene just watching my art display. I love when my TV is turned off, my family room is divine with the art displaying. (Samsung I really feel you should please send me a 65" Frame TV, to include a frame the teak wood and I would be most grateful. ( "You don't have, if you don't ask".) The title of my email to write this review "Sharon tell us how you really feel".

Our living room is pretty small and tight and being that this is a very thin tv it doesn’t take up any extra room. We still haven’t purchase the frame decor yet but hopefully we will soon to tie the room together

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Product and Horrible Customer Service The remote is almost non-functional. I always had to often stand up and get closer to the TV to make it work. Just after a year, it completely stopped working. After spending literally 3 hours on Customer Service chat, there was no resolution besides you can buy a new $100+ remote. To add insult to injury conveniently, the chat would always error and close when I asked to have a way to escalate my claim. There is a phone app that you could use instead of shelling out $100 for a remote that will likely break again based on others reviews, oh wait, you can’t set it up without having a remote. This entire experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth that this will be the last Samsung purchase I make. Worst customer experience I have had in memory.

When building our retirement home, we decided early to install a Samsung Frame TV in our Gathering Room to enjoy it not only when watching TV or movies, but also the rest of the day through rotating art. What a joy this product is! Our home is beautiful, but it's the Frame TV which our guests always notice and rave about! The picture is such good quality, that guests quite often believe they are looking at a real piece of framed art...and then the art changes...surprise!

Imagine the (buffer) color wheel on a Mac book that never ends and that’s the Samsung Frame. The gimmick of the “frame” itself with art projection is minimal quality and average at best. I suggest looking at an LG for much faster reaction times, much better picture, more features (outside of the frame feature) at a much lower price point.

I didn’t want our TV to be the main focus of our living room so I love that the wood-look frame and matte screen gives it a less “techy” appearance. While I don’t think this tv is fooling anyone into thinking it’s really framed art, I do love switching out the artwork based on the season or upcoming holidays, my kids love it as well. It was a bit tricky to install, deciding on where we wanted the power unit (whether in the wall or in a cabinet) was difficult. We tried for the wall but it my older house the studs were a mess and the unit gets very hot so the thermostat on the other side of the wall was thinking our house was 90 degrees! We ended up putting it in a cabinet. Over all I’m very happy with my purchase! I would love to replace all my tvs with frames!

The Frame TV is above the wooden mantle of our stone fireplace. Any other modern style TV would look out of place. This TV works perfectly with our antiques and portraits in our living room. The high tech functionality and convenience features of the TV are an added plus when we want to turn our artwork into entertainment mode. Overall, we are very pleased with our wonderful Samsung TV!

I wonder why the first time I push for the “home” screen I always get the art choice Home Screen. And then need to toggle over to the sidebar menu to get the actual Home Screen for TV viewing. My only other issue is that the art I chose does not always seem to “stick”, and I see different art the next time I turn the TV on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible product The TV refuses to stay connected to the cable, no matter how many times I’ve programmed it — I’ve done it at least 20 times. I’ve changed the cable, switched HDMI ports, and every time the TV is turned off, I have to reprogram it all over again. It simply doesn’t retain any of the settings. On top of that, the TV turns on randomly, sometimes on “TV,” sometimes on “Display,” completely ignoring the programmed inputs. The interface is clunky, the user experience is anything but seamless, and the customer service has been absolutely horrible. I’ve only owned this product for 3 months, and despite the ongoing issues (which I’ve reported repeatedly), I’m now being told that it’s no longer covered under warranty? I’ve been calling for months. This is by far the worst product I’ve ever purchased. Never buying Samsung again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything depends on use case. Software SUCKS! Samsung really doesn't understand it's customers in the TV market. Their software has been abysmal on TV's for the last 15 years at least. The Frame is no exception. The "art" interface feels clunky and unintuitive, making it a hassle to navigate artwork options. It also lacks integration with typical photo platforms, restricting customization. Instead, it pushes Samsung’s subscription-based Art Store, which frustrates to no end. Even using the "home button" on the remote doesn't always get you where you need to be. When used as a TV, it shines, but NOT with the built in apps which are rarely updated, and often don't work or don't provide full resolution.

It is the best! Slim & flush with the wall, so it fits exactly like a a mounted photo or picture. When having an image up on the screen it looks exactly like a painting above our fireplace. We love the option to choose different images too to go along with the holidays or ambience. While hosting people to our home, we have found that they really thought it was a painting above our fireplace. The image quality & sound while watching the news, shows & movies is perfect! We are so happy with this TV that we have plans to buy a second one for our entertainment room in our basement. We are so glad we waited & did our research for the right TV to purchase. This one was worth it! It is by far the BEST!

It's never been the smoothest functioning TV....glitchy at times (screen freezing...unresponsive to remote, etc). Then about 4 months ago, the entire right half of the screen lost color balance. Today, the remote stopped working despite charging overnight. Theoretically it's a cool tv...but not good quality.

I like the built in streaming services and Samsung TV's network of channels. I did have to hire an electrician and a handyman to mount and wire a box into the wall to achieve the completely flat mount, so be sure to include that into your budget. Several people who have seen it in my office have purchased one for their home or office.

My main issue is that when "turn off" my directv, the TV turns off completely and does not go into art mode (like my units from 2 years prior). Then whenever I go to turn on the tv, it often takes multiple attempts. It's strange, but in further research, this is a common compliant. But as far is picture and sound, the TV does a good job and no complaints there.

Moreover, the artwork available is stellar and wide-ranging. Finally, the picture quality, viewability, and universality of adding use as a computer monitor, AppleTV/ROKU, etc., just work elegantly and with no intervention.

Unfortunately, the sound is substandard and made worse by the tendency of the volume to suddenly amplify for a few seconds before going quiet. The fix requires navigating a labyrinth of settings and “advanced” settings required each time you turn it on! Seems like Samsung knows about it but does not provide a software patch. Ugh!

I love the elevated feature of art. It is so fun to change out the artwork for the seasons. My husband and I are baby boomers and sometimes have issues with techie stuff, but we have been able to navigate through set up, operation, art mode etc. with no problem. Wish we hadn’t waited so long to get one!

This feature sets it apart from other televisions on the market. the picture quality is outstanding. Colors are vibrant. I really like the anti-reflection screen, which effectively eliminates glare and allows for clear viewing from any angle, even in brightly lit rooms. My only complaints are regarding the customizable frames. They are quite expensive, and because I have the TV on a swinging arm and move it frequently, the frame sometimes comes off.

I play a lot on xbox cloud too, and this TV has a built in xbox app that let you play your xbox games with the game pass. I couldn't dream of a more perfect tv for me.

What sets it apart from any other television I’ve owned is its dual purpose—it’s not just a TV, it’s also a piece of art. When it’s off, it looks like a framed painting or photograph thanks to its slim design, customizable bezels, and matte anti-glare display. Mounted flush against the wall, it blends seamlessly into the room’s decor and feels more like part of the furniture than an electronic device. The Art Mode is a game changer. I can display curated artwork from Samsung’s Art Store or upload my own photos, and the matte finish makes them look remarkably realistic. Guests often think it’s a real print until I switch it on. As a TV, the Frame delivers excellent performance. The QLED panel produces bright, vivid colors with great detail in 4K, even in a sunlit room. HDR support enhances contrast beautifully, and the anti-reflective coating makes a huge difference. It may not have OLED-level blacks, but for everyday viewing, movies, and sports, the quality is outstanding. The One Connect Box keeps cables hidden, and smart features like Alexa/Google Assistant integration make it convenient. Sound is decent, though I paired it with a soundbar for more depth. Subtle note that’s more specific to me but there in no NBA app for NBA League Pass. Maybe that’s a Samsung thing? Not sure but now have to screenplay from phone to watch which is annoying. But just in general it’s a slow TV and not worth the trade off of having a “cool” tv that puts up art (that you have to also buy a subscription to in order to truly control the art displayed) when you’re not using it. Would much rather have just gotten a more operable TV. Samsung usually has good products…just not The Frame

I really loved the ability to put my own photos on the tv. But the 55 inch does not allow me to get the aspect ratio correct for viewing. I am very disappointed in this part of the tv. The tv itself is great.

When I called regarding the order, I was told the frame was not included. I have always had exceptional service from Samsung. I was extremely disappointed with my latest experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Television This is my second Frame 55”. The first one only lasted about 6 years but I loved it so much I bought a new one when they went on sale. Truly enjoy adding my pictures and this model is much easier to navigate that. Beautiful clear picture and no glare. Wish the hanging brackets and magnetic frame I purchased for the other one fit this one but oh well I guess not.

It does a really good job reducing glares from light and it's made a noticeable difference. The mount is a little strange and takes a minute to get used to, but once installed the TV sits nearly flush with wall leaving really nice final display.

I’m still impressed by how close it sits to the wall to look like a picture. The colors are great and it doesn’t have a glare. IF I had to say one thing negative, it’s the mount. Whoever decided it should be two separate pieces- what were you thinking?? I was mounting the TV between two windows and it was impossible to center it between the windows and mount it on the studs because of the mount. I had to buy a third party mount that was one single piece.

We loved the idea of being able to have various artwork displayed rather than a blank TV screen when the device was not being used. The variety of art available was surprising, we've selected some favorites to rotate through. The picture is amazing! Great detail and in the daytime, you can't tell it's a TV. The picture quality extends to viewing it as a TV and we're happy with that and the amazing sound quality. We had toyed with getting the soundbar for it but it wasn't needed. It's a bit more complicated to use, and likely just the learning curve with all the options and configurations. We use specific streaming services and getting those installed in the home screen has been difficult. We often just use search and select them from there. Overall, we're quite pleased!

It provides the most clear and crisp images I’ve ever seen for a home entertainment system, and the colors are eye popping. But best of all is what I call the ‘art feature,’ which is when the television goes on sleep mode, it provides a picture-image-painting of your choice; from a wide collection of contemporary or classic masters. So, if you frame it on the wall, your television transforms into a work of art. All of these features plus the fact that the screen prevents almost all glare, gives the best home viewing experience I’ve ever had and relaxing nights that I look forward to with my beloved.

I basically purchased it for the frame feature and it did nit disappoint. I used the free pictures and dowloaded my own. Maybe thousands more through subscription if interested. As a regular tv, it is also great for daily use. The menues and settings require a learning curve. Overall, Im very satisfied with this tv.

Love the ease of use of the menu and the teak frame. Pretty cool having the remote use solar power to charge. Also, easy to airplay from phone which makes streaming games or music really easy. It's a great tv!

I have to say we have several Samsung products in our home and love them. The picture on this Frame TV isn’t as good as we hoped. The color quality is a bit lacking and not as clear as we expected it to be. Great exterior design and easy to install but wish the picture and sound quality was a bit better. We are still fans of Samsung and will continue to support the brand.

Only downfall that I find is we sometimes have issues connecting to the network (xfinity/comcast) It is always able to connect to the server but we find it sometimes has issues with the connection. Aside from this though we love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beware Samsung do not honor their policy I have purchased many Samsung's products including tablets, washer/dryer and refrigerator. I have been looking at the Frame TV for a while and bought it when the price was $959.99. Three days after delivery, the price went down to $779.99. I asked for a price match with Samsung agent who submitted the refund after reviewed Samsung policy and stated that I qualified for the price match. She ask if I could wait for the email from the backend team. The email never came. I waited and finally contact Samsung customer services who now stated that it was denied because the reviewed team saw no price drop. Despite having proof of the price drop from a new order, chat records from the agent who submit the ticket, Samsung refuse to honor the price match. First, they say that they could not resubmit because it is outside of the 15 days delivery windows. Then the agent say that the reviewed team did not see price drop. When I ask that if the reviewed team take 2 days or 2 weeks to review, of course the promotion will end. Then the agent say the review team did not see price drop at the time of request. If that is the case, then why does the agent submitted it in the first place. Samsung has no honor, why would I ever buy from them again. Beware of their price match policy, they will say what ever they want and reject your request.

Misleading and greedy. I bought a Frame TV recently as a gift. However, the new one does NOT include any paintings for art mode (only screensaver animations), which is the best feature of this TV and why it costs so much. The paintings cost an extra $5/month. The older model I already own has free paintings. Samsung's corporate greed is laid bare in the living room as they try to squeeze out even more money as a subscription to the "art store" from an already expensive TV.

I have it mounted above the mantle on my fireplace, making it easy to showcase artwork or watch my favorite sports teams with just a quick click of the remote. I've even uploaded family pictures from my phone to display on the Frame TV. Without hesitation, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a television that also looks like a piece of art or a display of family photos above their fireplace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely poor quality TV, worse customer service. I received this TV 5 days ago and upon mounting it I noticed that the screen was warped within its enclosure. While talking to customer service about this the screen physically cracked, presumably under the pressure of the bent screen. When I contacted customer support they said that physical damage like that wouldnt be covered by the warranty, even though it was clearly a manufacturer defect. They said that fixing might cost the same as a new TV. Steer clear of the Frame for quality issues. Steer clear of Samsung in general.

I put it my hotel lobby and guests are amazed when the artwork changes. My only complaint and only reason it doesn't get five stars from me is that the one connect box has a constant buzzing noise. I have read online this is a common problem and I hope Samsung comes up with a solution.

Eventually I got a chat that was agonizingly slow with over five minutes per repsonse often making clear they didn't even read what i wrote. Eeventually they said someone would contact me. I got a generic email that they would work on it. And then nothing. I have disputed the charge on my card. They or awful!

But the hanging to the wall was not flat (the old frame 50" TV was no gap on the same wall) and I was thinking the thinner new TV was a little bent.

The visuals look amazing on the Samsung frame, and having the box to connect everything is easier than having to connect it all to the tv like on the TCL. Minus 1 star because on the TCL you don’t have to pay for the art work display and on the Samsung you have to pay a monthly fee. Also, I don’t like how Samsung’s remote channel and volume buttons are. I keep pressing the center, trying to push up or down, which takes me elsewhere and it’s pretty annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Annoying that screen savers don’t work Tv is great but i find it really annoying that if i get screen savers off etsy they need to be manually resized or the will have the fake looking matting Samsung provides. My old frame tv didn’t do this. Please fix it Samsung. Also when going to new places in the interface it is extremely slow. You just sit there staring at a blank screen for 10+ seconds. In this day and age seems like they could fix that.

Since we bought the first tv it has been almost 2 months without a working TV. I can’t give an accurate review on the actual product other than assembly was easy and it looks beautiful. But the customer service has been slow and it’s such a process.

If for any reason you need to make a return outside of this window, you spend hours on the phone with no resolution. They transfer you from department to department for hours. No supervisors can make exceptions. Samsung reps have no authority to facilitate basic things like returns. Do not buy!

It is very elegant and thin and its matte screen helps a lot when there is a lot of light. I really liked this concept of television that is shaped like a frame. This is the third generation of the frame that I bought. and visitors are always surprised with the art mode.

After spending many hours on the phone getting passed from one person to another I received no resolution. They allowed enough time to pass that I can no longer return my Tv's. I now need to pay an additional several hundred dollars to hire someone else to hang these TV's

Still haven't mounted it to the wall yet, but it comes with the wall mount in the box already. It's super thin and with the wooden frame attached to it, it looks like a painting when in art mode. Will be nice to get it mounted to the wall and have the TV blend in when not in use. Has a great selection of ports too, including an antenna input to watch over the air TV! (Which not all brands have) Playstation works great with it. Even using Samsung Buds 2 Pro to connect to the TV over Bluetooth is good, and it doesn't appear to have any noticable bluetooth lag for me so that's pretty cool.

I have the Smart Things App and it is connected to the TV but won't upload my pictures. I have called and texted with Samsung several times and it is still not fixed. I would have given it a rating of no stars if I could have as the only reason I bought the frame TV was to be able to put my own pictures on it.

Matte finish is elegant and in artwork mode adds variety and posh helping you to achieve that "oh so sophisticated!" milieu perfect for hosting cocktails and dinner parties to impress your bourgeoise friends and associates.

You have a museum like theater in your home. Samsung has better color than all other Smart TV. It is a better energy efficient tv. Samsung has a beautiful design it looks like a beautiful piece of artwork having from your wall. This smart TV has brightness sensors to reduce the glare. It has premium picture performance it's like your looking at another person right in front of you.

After reviewing lots of options I decided on the Samsung Frame. This is a highly visible area in the home and does amazing as art in the wall. It also often doubles as a fireplace, music player, or general amsr video device. I am a fan of the huge amount of features included. Including the simple and elegant solar charging remote. I have many Samsung devices but this is definitely a favorite!

Anti sun glare has been a particularly big bonus due to the placement of our TV having the sun shine through the window directly on it. You don't even notice. The choice of paintings are fantastic and it does look great in the room. There is lots of options and add new ones all the time. The only reason for the 4 stars v 5 stars, if we don't use the TV in a while the OS system tends to run slow for several minutes and is frustratingly not picking up the wifi at times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic idea, needs a slight redesign. I love the Samsung frame TVs. I have 4 total. This is the newest addition. The remote change I did not like at first but after using it, I no longer grab the remote upside down, so I’ve learned to love it. As many other reviews have stated, my tv came severely warped, about a 1/4”, so much so, it took 2 people to plug in the one connect box as the back panel of the tv was bowed out to a point it blocked the connector. Also, the paper template for the mount is insulting. I know this is a mid range cost TV but how much would it actually cost to put a 1 piece template for the proper size of the TV in the box. Taping it together isn’t a huge deal but definitely makes it hard to get it perfect. I will buy again, but as a loyal customer I hope the quality of the manufacturing improves.

By the time I got back and installed I noticed it arrived with a cracked screen. I tried to get someone to return it but I got the massive run-around from Samsung...transferred to multiple agents and nobody could help me. I tried again and again and finally they said my 3-week return window had closed so they would not take it back. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AND IF YOU DO, THEN DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE!! BUY FROM A SITE THAT WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU WITH A RETURN. SAMSUNG IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST TO DEAL WITH SO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Set up near the windows, it makes the living room look much more refined than having a normal TV. It always looked terrible with a big black screen in the middle of their artwork. Now with the Frame TV the wall looks great. They’ve chosen the artwork they enjoy and it blends in perfectly. They also were pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and set up. I also have the Frame TV in my house with the matte finish on the screen I’m able to enjoy watching all day long even with the sun shining through the windows.

When mounted on the wall, it truly looks like a framed picture, adding elegance and style to any space. The QLED panel delivers vibrant colors and sharp clarity, making everything from movies to casual browsing look amazing. The no-gap wall mount and One Connect box also help create a clean, minimalist look that really sets it apart from traditional TVs. Art Mode is one of the best features, but also the most frustrating. While the display beautifully mimics real artwork, navigating the Art Menu to access and manage personal photos is clunky and unintuitive. Uploading new images feels overly complicated, and high-resolution photo handling could be better. It’s a missed opportunity in what is otherwise a brilliant feature. Another small downside is nighttime brightness — even on the lowest settings, the screen can still feel too bright in a dark room, slightly breaking the illusion of a natural painting. Despite these minor flaws, I highly recommend The Frame for anyone wanting a TV that seamlessly blends into their home decor. If Samsung refines the Art Mode experience and adds better dimming options, it would easily be a perfect product.

When it’s off, it genuinely looks like a piece of framed artwork thanks to the matte display and slim wall-mount design. I love that you can customize the bezels to match your space. The picture is vibrant and clear, perfect for streaming and casual watching. I tried some gaming on it and the high refresh rate made everything super smooth. It’s such a cool feeling having guests ask what gallery the art’s from. If you want something that looks as good off as it does on, then this one’s a winner.

My first reaction is one of astonishment over how close this TV sets to the wall. With only 3mm separating it and the wall, it truly looks like a piece of art! We had our TV installed by a professional as the the recessed electrical outlet needed to be relocated to permit the Samsung bracket to be installed in a specific location. Once the brackets were installed, hanging the TV was a breeze. Once hung, the only other setup item was connecting the One Connect Box. Setup using the SmartThings app was very straight forward and easy. I was a bit hesitant about having a wireless connect box, but after several days of usage, there has been no connection or latency issues. This box is a game changer! All inputs plug directly into the One Connect Box, and it is transmitted directly to the TV!

Remote pros: Easy to select and move between pre-programmed streaming apps Remote con: Lacks numeric keys and the ability to type in favorite channels - must scroll through Menus in streaming apps BIGGEST CON: Samsung compatibility with our local streaming platform (Xfinity Stream). I like to watch local news in the mornings and evenings. From day one, there have been problems streaming this downloaded app. When working with tech support from both companies, Samsung claims the streaming app to be at fault; streaming company claims it is a samsung software problem. Bottom line, after having a technician from our local internet provider visit and numerous resets to refresh / reinstall streaming app causing issues on the Samsung Frame TV, I need use a different TV in a less comfortable room to stream local morning & evening news. Very disappointing. If there were not streaming issues, I would give the Samsung a 4+ rating but inability to stream local news brings rating down to a 3.

Samsung sent 2 techs 2 different times to replace screen and both times they said sorry they won’t replace it . Why did they come ? Why did I miss money at work to come home early and they said they can’t fix it .. Samsung won’t give me an answer just that they don’t know why ticket says don’t replace after the tech gets here..was told a manager would call me still no call and still with a tv that’s hard to watch and definitely can’t show art on!!!

Samsung install team didn’t have to tools to properly install when they arrived and asked to borrow a drill. I foolishly let them and one guy started using the drill handle like a hammer. Since they clearly had no idea what they were doing we told them to leave. They left over a dozen holes and damage on the wall they had to be repaired. The wall mount brackets were bent and ruined by the install team and Samsung only offered $50 credit to replace the $140 bracket set so we lost $90 for their horrible install crew. After the new brackets were ordered and the wall repair was done Samsung sent a second install crew and they actually got it installed but put it about 3 feet higher than we told them to put it. Ended up having to remove the TV again to patch holes and damage. We didn’t even bother contacting Samsung this time and hired a local company to do the install. It took them maybe 15 minutes to install it exactly where we wanted it on the first attempt. We will NEVER allows Samsungs installation team install anything… assuming we buy Samsung again. We have been loyal Samsung product users over the years but this experience has really turned us off from the company. Here is my tip for Samsung should anyone ever read this - stop offering free install too and sending inexperienced installation teams. Just give a credit towards the customer hiring their own installation crew.

The brand new Frame TV stopped working hours after it was first turned on. I spent over 50 mins on the phone with tech support and they were unable to provide any meaningful troubleshooting. They were using Google to troubleshoot and the only thing they could offer was to unplug the brand new tv and try a different outlet. I waited a week for the first available Service Quick technician even though I asked Samsung to expediate fixing this since it is literally a brand new $2000+ TV. I had to proactively reach out to Service Quick twice to learn when my appointment was. A week later, the Service Now technicians were unable to fix the tv despite 2 techs spending more than an hour literally taking the tv apart. Service Quick was supposed to schedule another appointment on 7/5, but instead of scheduling the appointment they canceled the ticket and now I'm being told I have to start from scratch. Over the past week+ I have spent hours talking to Samsung tech support, the Samsung Service and Pending Management department and with Service Quick in an effort to get this situation resolved. I have been told conflicting information by different people and am still no closer to having a working TV. While spending over $2K on a brand new TV that doesn't work is bad enough, having to chase down Samsung and Service Quick for an efficient resolution is insult to injury. Receiving a defective brand new TV is bad luck, but receiving inconsistent and ineffective customer service and tech support from both Samsung and Quick Service has turned me off entirely from the Samsung brand.

About 30 minutes into set up and exploration the screen went black and all video and audio was lost. Three months and 3 technicians later the TV is still not working. So disappoingting after the amount of money I spent. Samsung refuses to accept the return and I am stuck without a TV. Although I appreciate the customer service and support, this will be my last Samsung purchase. Samsung you need to step up and make this right!

Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. From the very beginning, I noticed visible white spots during dark scenes, which completely ruin the viewing experience, especially in low-light environments. I’ve tried adjusting the brightness and contrast settings, changing picture modes, and even updating the software, but the issue persists. It’s frustrating to invest in a premium TV and encounter this type of problem, which I honestly would expect in lower-end models, not in one of this price range and supposed quality. This defect, which seems to be backlight bleeding or clouding, should not be acceptable on a TV in this category. Despite being a new model, I’m seriously considering returning it if no satisfactory solution is offered. Samsung, I hope you take these complaints seriously and provide a quick and effective resolution. This type of issue should not tarnish the reputation of such a renowned brand. Please deliver the quality you promise.

I needed to place the control box in a nearby cabinet. The tv came with a long cord that made it easy for my specific needs. Great picture. Love it. The remote instructions were somewhat lacking. However I really love the way this turned out. The screen has no glare which is great. I have an older Frame and I wish that had no glare and the updated software would be great. It is worth the $50 a year for me to enjoy beautiful art by real recognizable masters daily in my bedroom. I hardly watch the tv at all although it has wonderful clarity and quality, it is mainly an art display and for that it is amazing. I feel like I have a Keith Haring on my wall right now. I did have a problem keeping it it from shutting off unexpectedly so I taped up the photo eye at the bottom of the TV thinking it might be getting stray signals. I now only use the smart things app when I need to get into the settings. The TV has been operating reliably now for 6 months.

I really like the power save feature that turns the screen off when you are away ans starts art when you walk in. The main area for improvement is the user interface. I was hesitant at first, but this TV fits beautifully into the space. When it’s off, it truly looks like a framed piece of art, blending perfectly with my decor and not feeling like an eyesore in the room. The picture quality is outstanding, and it’s been wonderful to finally enjoy movies and shows with family right in the living room. The clarity and sound of this TV is excellent however the depth and breath of the Art library is truly outstanding and has provided us ready access to thousands of works of the masters and today's artist at our finger tip.

The one complaint is that the artwork for the whole "picture frame" concept is a subscription, which pretty much forces you to pay for it or else it's just a regular tv. Pretty disappointed they went this route after paying the premium for this picture frame feature. Great TV, other than subscriptions

It has a fantastic picture, great sound, is easy to use and we love how it transforms the room by displaying art! It is like having a piece of art in the room instead of having an ugly blank screen. You can change the art as often as you like which makes the room feel new each time! It really gives the room a wow factor! We love the flush mount and the customizable bezzle frame that you can choose to match your rooms decor. The room our television is in has a lot of sunlight, so we also love the anti-glare feature that you get with the matt screen!

Cable management is really nice snd discreet thanks to the innovative external cabling solution. Picture quality is excellent, I’d put it close to my previous oled screen. Streaming movies and YouTube content is a breeze a the UI is very simple and intuitive. It may fall short in a speck fight with flagship models but it makes up for it in asthetic appeal.

There is no instructions and the user has to try to find how to download . The volume controls for the tv do not work with one “clicker”. The fios changes channels and the frame “clicker” does the volume and other options. The expert team could not solve the issue on a second visit. Why cant this be plug and play????

But to top things off, we already had an upstairs Samsung "The Frame" television in the main living room! No matter what area of the house we are using, we have the same great television experience! We can use "The Frame" to illustrate/view specific interesting picture scenes. Quite the atmosphere for guests as well. Enjoyed by many!

The picture isn't quite OLED accurate but it's that's a small price to pay to avoid burn-in from the Art Mode. Speaking of which, this truly changes the old big dark rectangle on the wall from an eyesore when not in use to a highlight in the room. You can change the artwork to suit your mood or the time of year or just pick an assortment from your favorite genre. It's truly wonderful and even educational as it's sort of fun to look and learn at artist's work that you've never had exposure too. I subscribed to the Samsung Art package and absolutely love that as well. This TV is a game changer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A "frame" tv should come with a frame. The TV itself has a great picture. My issues are with having to pay a good deal extra for the frame and for the artwork. It took a bit of work, but I was able to make use of my Fire TV remote. The Samsung Frame provides a healthy array of streaming sites, but the Fire TV has a bit more. Plus the remote is easier to use than the Samsung remote.

What is great about these TVs is how light they are and easy to mount, the base (PSU) can easily be hidden and all the wiring can be done to the base instead of running everything behind the TV and trying to hide the wiring. It’s a great design altogether and most definitely the future of TV designs, kudos to Samsung for always being on the cutting edge of design visually and aesthetically.

Coming from a UHD tv to this model is a massive upgrade. The picture is beautiful there is no glare what so ever. The viewing angles are awesome. The upscaling feature work a lot better than I thought it would. The colors absolutely pop and the blacks are dark with no wash out at all. We have not mounted this tv and it sits sturdy on the included stands. The artwork displayed is also quite immersing. I couldn't have asked for more expect i do wish the art display was not subscription based that being said there are plenty of pictures that display for free just not the ones I really like. Overall I would recommend this TV for all its features and the good looks.

The problem is in order to restart it. You have to remove it from the wall because the control box is behind the wall. I’ve since bought a different brand of frame TV and the box that needs to be built into the wall is not required for this brand same picture same quality easier to install.

A Samsung repair guy repaired it and it then died again within the first 5-6 minutes of watching it. A second repair person is scheduled to try and repair it. When it worked, I liked the artwork and picture quality.

Plus the live TV channel list is easy to use and allows recent channels to be pulled up quickly, I highly recommend the Frame TV to anyone looking to disguise tv screens as framed art.

The matte screen and form factor are gorgeous — no complaints there — but the actual Art Mode interface is either missing, inaccessible, or simply broken out of the box. No network issues, no login problems. The menu just doesn’t appear, and the remote shortcuts and SmartThings app sync fail to bring it back. Basic display and HDMI functionality work, but the "art" portion that sets this TV apart is unusable. Tried reaching out to Samsung support and immediately entered what felt like a scripted merry-go-round of transfers and generic suggestions. "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" was the recurring theme. The reps clearly had no training on Frame-specific firmware bugs or recovery steps — and instead of escalating, they just hand me off to the next person. No tech callback, no workaround, no ownership. For a premium product sold at a premium price, this lack of support is unacceptable. I now have a $1,500 TV mounted flush to my wall — and zero access to the core feature that justified buying it. Samsung, if you're listening: stop outsourcing support for niche products and fix the firmware issues already.

It was shipped fine, but out of the box it did not work correctly (some sort of software/circuit board issue), so technical support was sent out. Given Samsung's reputation, I expected the issue to be resolved quickly and without any issues. I was wrong. The first support visit was just to assess the TV - no parts or anything brought to fix the issue. Weird given I took the entire day off work. The second visit a single part was brought - that did not fix the issued, so a third visit was scheduled, and I again took off work for each of those visits. The repair person did not even show up for the third scheduled visit because the part did not come in. What? A visit is scheduled without the correct part being already in stock? The answer to that is yes - repair visits are scheduled without a guarantee of the part being in stock. So I took off work for no reason. The fourth visit was no better - a different part, TV still does not work properly, and I again had to miss work. Feeling like I should not have to miss work again, after the 4th scheduled visit, I requested a replacement from Samsung customer service - no dice - only the technical service folks can only resolve that request. What? How many times does the TV have to fail before it is replaced? Who knows. Today is the fifth scheduled visit, I still have not heard from the technician, so I probably just took off work again for no reason. Summary: I have now taken off 5 days of work, the TV does not work, Samsung will not provide a new TV, and there is no end in sight to this nightmare . I should have bought a different TV and I also should have bought that TV from a local retailer so I could have returned it easily when it was clear the TV was broken. The not so great side of it is that the actual tv isn’t the greatest picture. Probably bc it’s do thin, but my five year old tv before this one’s screen played so much better. I hear the new model is better. Definitely love it. The frames are sold separately so it’s a big commitment with cost.

It’s been a month and no artwork which was the whole point of buying it. Good TVs are a dime a dozen. My next phone call will be to the BBB. I’m not getting what I paid for!!!

I bought a new house at the same time and wanted everything in my brand new house to look modern and clutter free. I have never like the way regular televisions look, until now. My Frame has the simple brown frame on it. It looks just like a framed portrait when I display "artwork" on the screen. Most people dont even realize its a TV at first or at all. The picture quality on regular channels is incredibly sharp, with almost a 3D quality. Over all, the best TV I've ever had or seen.

The picture quality is a huge improvement compared to my last t.v., which was not a Samsung. While I felt the price was slightly high compared to standard TVs, so far I feel it has shown to be worth its value. While certain reviews claimed said tv to have a mediocre picture quality and contrast, especially in dark scenes, I would completely disagree. I did allot of research, comparing and contrasting before deciding on what T.V. to invest in. Although there are definitly limited viewing angles, one might argue that may be because of our tv's location and the size of room it is located in. So far, I am very pleased with said purchase and would recommend this t.v. as an investment worth one's while. Overall, I am very pleased worth said purchase.

It dissconnects the cable and other deduces multiple times a week - and they way it is set up, you’ve re configure the connection every time! I called multiple times, never got anyone that understood the problem let alone fix it. The control remote is crappy because it is super sensitive to any touch and you can’t really control the way you want it

We have selected 40 different paintings by well-known artists. We have them on a 3 min cycle and really enjoy seeing the art and not a black screen. Two suggestions: 1. include a sheet of step by step instructions for selecting and matting the pictures. It took me many tries to figure out how to set it up. 2. include more well known artists and their art: I found no Picasso art and no Carravaggio. Also, there is only one El Greco and one Tintoretto and one Andrew Wyeth and only one or two Georgia O'Keefe in all the collections.. Overall, we are most pleased with the 55" set, how it sits right on the wall, with a slim single wire - almost unnoticeable - running down to the connection box. We have placed a number of paintings around it which the art frame TV look just like an integral part of an art wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Samsung Frame TV We have been so satisfied with the Frame TV. We haven’t experienced any problems with picture, WiFi reception, or sound. We love how the profile is so slim and that it really hugs the wall. Having the Frame TV has made our entertainment area much neater due to the slim cord that attaches in the back and the power box that is stored inside our cabinet. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a Frame TV!!

It’s the only TV that doesn’t look like a TV, it literally passes as wall art until it suddenly transforms into movie night central. I use it for everything: Netflix, sports, Spotify, and even mirroring my phone when I’m feeling too lazy to grab the remote. The Art Mode is a conversation starter every time someone visits. Guests keep asking, “Wait, is that a painting or a TV?” (which, let’s be real, is exactly the point). The picture quality is crisp, the colors pop, and the minimalist design just elevates the whole space. I love that I can switch from a calming Monet to a Marvel movie in seconds. It makes the room feel alive, part gallery, part home theater. Never thought I’d call a TV elegant, but here we are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Frame TV exceeded expectations I purchased a new The Frame TV last month and my experience has been wonderful! The user interface is both robust and easy to navigate. The Home feature makes it easy to select from all my streaming apps and also go into art-mode seamlessly. The Art mode has lots of features to make it customizable. I appreciate the timer because I didn't want the 'Art' to display at all hours of the day. I was pleasantly surprised with the picture quality. The quality is rich and is up to the standard I expect from a Samsung product. I found the mounting instructions to be confusing, so I watched Frame TV installation videos and asked my local hardware store for help. Overall, I would highly recommend this TV to anyone as it provides unrivaled versatility and quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Frame is perfection Splurged this year on the TV. The Samsung Frame is incredibly beautiful. and is 100% noticeably better than 90% of TVs on the market. Love the matte display, and the art display options . The GUI interface on this tv can be a little bit clunky, and can have a little bit of lag. but overall works fine with the 3-4 apps in use on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful but wish it was customizable I love the look of this tv and frame. It’s beautiful and really looks like a piece of art. I have a huge complaint with the Samsung Home Screen. It is not customizable and has so many show suggestions and advertisements that I wish I could remove. There have been some very “adult” suggestions that my kids have seen just by turning the tv on. This is a huge deterrent to this tv and I probably would not have purchased it if I had known that I could not do anything about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't Be Happier The Art Mode is fantastic. We don't constantly use the TV, but it's perfect for displaying bright, vibrant artwork in our living room. The picture is excellent. The mounting hardware needs to be improved. It makes it incredibly difficult to adjust like other available mounts. The Frame flush mount doesn't allow for you to adjust the TV while keeping it level.. and you need to completely remount the brackets, if it is ever-so-slightly off.

We have it hanging over our fireplace and I have a frame that I purchased that makes it even more beautiful. The picture quality is fantastic. My husband especially loves the no-glare feature. I would highly recommend this TV.
