Almost impossible to talk to a human to get tech support. I’ve given up. Very frustrating. These companies that think they’re saving all of this money by not having tech support are wrong. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointment Overall the picture quality is fine but there are a few very annoying issues with this TV that I've never had with any other set before. One is that it turns on by itself for no reason and the second is the sound quality is not only subpar but gets very loud compensating for any show that has an audience clapping or even when a firetruck goes by the building. I've always trusted Samsung products in the past but would definitely not recommend this one.

Also even after several fixes there is frequent stuttering a refreshing issues that area happening with the old Toshiba in the same room.

After struggling with the registration process, updates and the App for 4 hours, multiple registration and hard reset attempts, we returned the Samsung unit to the store and bought another Vizio. The interface, app and procedures with the Samsung have been and still are the worst! Unusable, and known software issues. The Vizio experience and picture quality was once again fantastic and painless.

We put the works box in the wall behind the TV , and put a picture over the access panel , the installation was a lot smoother than I thought it would be ! Mounting the bracket place , the FRAME up on it , and snap it to the wall ! The remote is recharged by solar power or micro USB , very convenient ! I bought the burl wood frame , and it matches the wood trim in my house , I enjoy the FRAME very much !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bit disappointed well I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the picture my previous TV was Samsung Crystal I thought I was getting an upgrade in picture quality but frankly I don't see any difference between my qled and the Crystal LED oh in both TVs it used to be that the back button allowed you to toggle between two different channels through Samsung TV Plus that is no longer the case.

As all of the Samsung products I've owned to date, another winner. Not the highest model, but for the bedroom, it's perfect. Absolutely no complaints. The quality is fantastic, I couldn't be happier. The resolution is great, more than enough brightness control, good contrast capability. The settings are understandable.

Still in good working condition, but I was frustrated with it. So I started shopping and reading reviews. I was already familiar with Samsung and knew I could not go wrong with this device. I really love it. It is really an outstanding TV. It is so much more than what I had. This TV is a keeper and I would highly recommend it to anyone out there looking for a new set. The picture quality and sound is great. The manual is easy to understand and I know if I have problems Samsung Support will be there to help me.

The picture quality is superb with good vibrancy and excellent black rendering. The biggest surprise is how well the speakers sound, which only makes me want to try the Q symphony setup more. All the apps I want aren't made for Tizen, so back to my Nvidia Shield again. This will be the last Samsung TV I buy. If you did this with your phones too, then I would switch to another brand. Tizen is garbage!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frequent restarts. Two too many. We've had several Samsung TV's over the years. This is the first we've had problems with. We're Cable tv watchers. We are still learning how this TV works. So far, in the 2 weeks or so that we've had this TV it's been necessary to unplug it to reset it twice. The first time when we tried to turn it on it would not respond. The screen remained black. We had been away for a couple of days. I googled the problem and it said to unplug it and plug it back in. Well, it worked. A few days later when we turned it on everything was green, as the tint was out of whack. I tried adjusting that in the settings to no avail. Then after powering it down, I unplugged it, plugged it back in and it reset itself back to normal. Right now it's fine, but I have reservations about keeping it. So, tell me what to do now. Walmart told me I needed the box to make a return. We broke that down to recycle within the first week. I am not my parents. I don't keep boxes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is another Samsung Masterpiece This television is absolutely amazing in my opinion. The color really pops out of the screen at you. The color is vibrant and one thing I love is how good cartoons look on this television. I also love how it works hand in hand with my Samsung Smartphone and my Samsung Galaxy 7+ Tablet. My Google TV Streamer works very well on this TV and so does my PlayStation 5. This Television was built very well to handle the colors and frame rates of video games. I had no desire to buy the PS5 Pro console because I believe that the Television made my regular PS5 made games look as if they were being played on a PlayStation 5 Pro. The sound this TV has is well above average and the AI sound is even better. The AI sound self adjusts according to the environment and my volume habits. The Intelligent viewing mode is amazing as it automatically adjusts according to what you are watching on TV. If you're watching a movie it adjusts for the way movies should look, the same goes for watching sports. This TV is so chock full of apps and games if I were to explain it all here I might as well write a book about the television. All I can really say is that it's the best Smart TV I have owned to date. I bought one of Samsungs first line of 4K UHD televisions back in 2014. It was also a 3D tv and at 60 inches was amazing. I still have that TV and I watch that TV just as much as my 8QF TV. It still holds up today. That is why I will continue to stick with Samsung's electronics for the rest of my life. I'm excited to see what Samsung puts out in the future. Maybe dive into the world of gaming? That would blow my mind if Samsung were to build a console for the ages. I forgot to mention 1 thing. My Q8F TV's interface is also second to none. It's actually quite slick and is very intuitive. The resolution for gaming though is my favorite aspect of this tv. I love Samsung's products! They're built to last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh How I Love Samsung ?? This television really brings brightness of colors to life. I mean they really pop out of the screen at you. The Q8F's contrast compliments the screen brightness very well. I wish I knew more about setting up the contrast and brightness levels.Both levels are cranked up to 50 and I'd like to learn how to adjust them myself. The settings are quite easy to figure out and set everything up until your heart is satisfied! The HDR is a big help with shows that have a good amount of color like cartoons or any sort of animation. Luckily at 48 years of age I'm still a lover of channels such as Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon too. The Q8F's resolution is just right and is perfect for gaming. I love ?? that this television is built so very well for my Playstation 5. I don't need to upgrade my Playstation to the Pro model or even the PS6 which is being talked about like crazy on YouTube. It's supposed to be out soon and very expensive. The interface on this TV is wonderful and I am totally fine with it the way it is.Samsung has always made it very easy to figure out the ins and outs of their middle of the road Q8F Smart TV. I wish that I could afford a really top of the line high end Samsung TV along with a nice high end Samsung Soundbar with surround sound that is like cotton candy for the ears. Someday I hope to have a nothing but Samsung electronics home. I already own my first Samsung phone which is the lower end A16 model but I think it works great! I own a Samsung Galaxy 7+ Tablet which I'm hoping has a few more updates left in her. Then there are the Two wonderful Samsung Smart UHD 4K model televisions ?? that I own. I own a 2014 UHD 4K Smart TV. It was one of the first models of it's kind back then and it even has 3D as a nice addition. I admit that I never took advantage of the 3D but it's still nice to have.I also own a 2015 model Samsung Ultra HD and Blu-ray player which is still in great condition. Both the 60 inch 2014 Samsung Ultra HD 4K 3D TV and it's counterpart Samsung Ultra HD Blu-ray player are showing their age. The settings are old school and I don't know if buying an evolution kit for the TV is worth it anymore. I'm amazed at how well my older Samsung TV still works and the color and resolution still look amazing, holding up to 2026 model TV's. I bought the Q8F a bit smaller at 50 inches for playing my video games. I need a Samsung speaker system and I'll be set for a while. I hope you consider this review as a winner. I never win at anything. Oh well! I'm so very grateful for Samsung and the products it makes. It's just that everything is so very expensive in across the board, from groceries to my favorite streaming networks, and yes, electronics too.I used to love going to best buy for everything. Nowadays, everything has changed too much for me. I'm a Generation X child and I believe we are the last of the old school generations. It's the 80's and early to the mid 90's that shaped most of my world view of things I've learned to assimilate to these Ultra modern days we live in now. I sure love the way televisions and speakers, all electronics have evolved the day's. Especially, anything made by Samsung.

All I need to say is, WOW! I originally became a die hard Samsung phone and tablet fan. Samsung's tvs are now my go to as well. I can't say enough about the superior quality. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced old plasma - good move Excellent screen resolution and vibrancy. A perfect fit in our bedroom. Did not have to make any adjustments, just right ont of the box. The new style (new to me) takes some getting used to and I like the voice interface.

It works well with my pc, dex from my phone, or other devices and switches seamlessly. I also love the ai translation feature for subtitles. You can even have it search recipes for you. Huge upgrade from my last 5 year old model

I get so many compliments on this TV it's not only a TV it's an experience I've owned so many TVs Samsung for some reason has found a way to make a TV feel like art or feel like you don't mind spending the money on it I pretty sure I will never buy any other TV besides Samsung again in my entire life the whole family loves it can't say good enough things about it it's easy to use the brightness is perfect the color is always perfect no matter which angle you're watching it from it's easy to use the colors are always what they should be for whatever picture or movie you're watching at that point in time the brightness is always perfect. Menu is really easy to navigate Brightness is always where it should be for what I'm watching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mid-range, but doesn't compromise much. I particularly like the price of this product for what is packed with. The TV brightness, picture quality and contrast sits well in a brightly lit New York City apartment the sound is up to par with my older version soundbar oddly enough. I haven't turned the TV volume completely up, I haven't had the need to. My only drawback is that I have had an older TV from Samsung that's quicker with the menu as far as when it comes to the number pads. Maybe a future update will address this

I will upgrade my HDMI cables soon to see if the facial color improves or whether I need to adjust some of the color settings. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

The only down side I've seem is itbhas trouble staying connected when you try to cast via Google Chrome to the TV. There was to work about it but it can be a pain especially if you're jumping back and forth between 1 video to another. Would I but again? Yes, maybe get a larger screen but it's pretty good. You really can't go wrong with a vizio tv, I have never gotten a bad on. It is definitely a brand you can trust, at least to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New to Samsung Sits nicely on our entertainment center. Was easy to assemble and got an extension that fit the tv so it we didn’t have to drill new holes for power. My only concern is that I might not know how to adjustthe contrast because ot doesn’t seem as bright a picture as in the store. The remote is very tiny and you need to purchase charger separately. Overall am happy with the Tv and the purchase was extremely easy. We upscaled to a slightly larger TV. Really like the uTube and Prime buttons, very convenient.

Took me a short time to learn how to go from our dish network to the tv network and hooking up an external antenna when our local channels decided to leave dish was easy.

I want a normal control with key pad. Our house is pretty dark so it does not solar charge. This is worthless. Please make a normal remote that works.

A representative from Samsung told me the viewing angle had a max of only 40 degrees. He also said recommended reviewing distance if only 5 ft. I do not sit that close to the television. I would not ever buy or recommend this model to anyone.

It has a wonderful picture, and the controls are pretty simple and straightforward. I have watched many movies, sporting events (e.g. WOrld Cup, NHL Finals, etc.) and even some classic TV shows. No matter the content the picture is always clear and beautiful.
