This product was recommended by our builder during a full re-do of one of our properties - the design is tremendous and in many cases, thought to be a piece of art; the screen operates flawlessly and is extremely easy to navigate. I have recommended it to 3 neighbors who are also during construction updates and all have purchased the product……different sizes. Could not be more pleased!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Expectations! We are loving our Frame smart tv. Not only is there NO GLARE on the screen, the depth of the colors ands blacks is impressive. We have a living area that is mostly glass on two walls and we have NEVER been able to see the picture so well. Should have purchased this years ago! There is a slight shudder during rare moments in a movie or series if a person is waving an arm or running at a clip, but it’s rare. Installation was amazingly easy and it looks great in the room. We have it paired to a sound bar and also headphones in case one person is working nearby, which is fabulous. Only issue is the sound control doesn’t show you where you are at regarding volume when you turn the tv on. This can blow you out of your chair if you are not expecting it to be loud in the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise, can’t say enough about how great it is. Very impressed. We hope it lasts us many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I’ve had this television for a year with no issues at all. This is a secondary set in my bedroom so it is nice that it is set to art most of the time. I subscribed to the annual art thing and there are plenty of good options. It hangs perfectly flat against the wall with the included hardware and it was no problem putting the little tech box in the record cabinet below. Looks great, I got a cheap tube kit separately to hide the cords in the wall and my relatively handy husband was able to install it in an hour with no issues. The kids love to switch up the art and surprise me. They were also sneaking in to watch YouTube which is an no go in our house and I wasn’t able to delete it because it’s part of the required package or something but it did allow me to put a lock code on it so that the app can’t be accessed which is nice. Crisp image, perfect colors, sound is excellent, everything I’d want from a tv. 10/10

I have extremely accurate color vision and no other developer has matched Samsung's dedication to accurate and vibrant colors, as well as giving me the full breadth of options to customize the display properties how I like. The closest competitors? They just buy parts from Samsung.

I said ha, that's my new TV called the Frame. He laughed and said amazing, completely fooled me. I'm very happy, it fits on the wall perfectly. The speakers are also great along with a nice screen. Really like the mat finish on the screen as there is absolutely no reflection. People really like how it so much not like a TV in the room.

I also really LOVE my Art Option; It really brings adds the peace and tranquility I needed in my bedroom. The TV screen also is extremely distorted for someone's over an hour, then mostly clears. Initially loved the idea and design, but it really hasn't been worth the cost. Also limited to the amount of pictures you can upload to the artwork in the TV - there is not much space available and I don't know if you can expand storage ...

I love the tiny, almost invisible cord and the quality of the picture is amazing. It really can be mistaken for artwork. I usually have it set to change images every few minutes.

I utilize it at a 3rd screen occasionally when I have a meeting in my office, watch some news because of its a smart tv and when I don't need it to be a monitor or a TV it becomes art. I have no complaint as of today with the quality of the TV. I had the TV professionally installed which made my experience even better. This TV really makes me happy and when others visit my office or see it on zoom calls it makes them happy too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Distorted colors in Art Mode I just had the 50” installed. I purchased it specifically for the Art Mode as I rarely watch TV. I am very disappointed. The colors in art mode are distorted. What should be white is some shade of pink/purple. I have done a factory reset which seemed to help very briefly, then went back to the distorted colors. The only thing that has helped some is to set it on brightest settings and change the color to the most yellow setting. That helps it blend better for my decorating colors but still nothing like the originals and it’s way too bright that way. I am very disappointed. There is no way I can remove it myself to return it. I paid a lot of money to have it installed with the wires and one connect box hidden. If I remove it I’ll have a huge hole in the wall to have to cover with something else. Wish I never would have purchased it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great colors but screen could use improvement The displays colors are bold and vivid and look absolutely astounding. And I love the matte coating for that picture effect and because it greatly reduces glare so the tv can be used in direct sunlight without the glare. However, I've seen this issue with my TV and many other frame tv's on the "The Frame" subreddit that have a problem with uneven blacks, whites, and grays. But mostly blacks. The panels aren't perfect and have imperfections that cause them to not be completely flat, they're warped, which means the display will sit closer to the backlight in some spots which causes light splotches. Please fix this. I know it's a "lifestyle" tv. But it's still a good chunk of change. Also, I don't understand why the frame has no local dimming, it doesn't make sense to me.

I was skeptical at first, but the contractor came by the other day and said he loved the print above the fireplace!!!! Turns out it was the TV! My only complaint would be that the frames are very expensive, especially if you want a larger one. I ended up making one for a fraction of the cost, but other than that am totally sold!

Once all of our streaming apps were set up, we were able to use it immediately. It updates its operating as needed, which is great because we never think to do that. We have Samsung and Vizio tvs all through out the house, 5 total. My daughters both have one and really like the Screensaver or sleep mode -they use it as a nightlight.

Uses same recieve signals as all samsung tvs. So it powers on when you turn another TV on. Or if you trigger su. Menus on one it does on the other. Paywall art. No google cast. Non existent hdr. If all you want is meh, and you have a flash drive of your own art and don't own another samsung tv. It's 4k it's passable and if arts the focus and you physically possess art you can upload to a flash drive I'd give a go.

It really does look like art work due to the matte finish. The TV adds to the design of my living room. This is my second Samsung TV and love them both.

However, lately the art work we've set will turn off sporadically, sometimes after it's been set for only a minute or so. I've followed the trouble-shooting instructions in the E-Manual but the issue has not been resolved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful size & picture. A ton of smart features. This tv is amongst Samsungs finest. Truly wonderful picture great dynamic settings. The sound is fine but it is what we have all grown to expect from such shallow boxes. Get a soundbar, Samsung makes great ones! The only issue I experienced was with all of the smart and intuitive features on the tv gets a mind of its own and develops “habits” that cause the tv to not display the correct volume, brightness, turns on automatically at times we did not want it to, etc. After a few unsuccessful attempts at calibrating these items I did a factory reset and turned off all of the “learner settings or smart settings” and the darn tv works just phenomenally. To Samsung: great job! This television is ahead of its time and such a great value for the price.

For watching TV the picture is fine, just not wonderful. For the money, I was expecting to be blown away by both.

We installed in our corporate office to show picture of our HQ and commercial and marketing material; recently, we have also purchased the museum picture feature and, during lunch time, we projects beautiful picture. The team is enthusiastic. If we did not say it was a TV, they were thinking it was a painting. We are planning to use this for presetting promotional material, showing satisfyingly images and, why not, watch the World Cup!

But, the fact that it looks like a piece of art when not on television mode is the best! It has upgrade the look of our entire living room! We are having fun displaying our own photos and art (watercolors) that I have created. We even surprised our daughter and new fiancé with their engagement picture on the wall (tv) when they came by. Also enjoying the free art and will be looking into an art subscription in the future. I have shared the tv with some friends and one has purchased their own and another is considering.

They can’t believe it’s a TV because it looks exactly like a framed piece of artwork. I would recommend it to anyone who loves art and color and prefers that over a black screen on the wall!

What we loved the most was how easy it was to use. The kids had no problems. Other smart tvs we would have to set them up. Not with the Samsung tho. Great TV. Only thing could have been better was more hdmi ports

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WANTED 2022 With New Features i wanted a frame tv over our new led fireplace since we bought this house, but had to remodeled first. after great reviews for new 2022 frame, i waited for it. ordered 2nd day it became available. i went to work to get it exactly placed on fireplace wall. one connect box was different size (larger) than expected. instructions are terrible. saw several youtube videos. measured twice and drill once. knew where studs were but couldn't get mounting brackets positioned. by grinding out 1/4" they fit. mounted brackets and made all connections. nothing worked! no lights on anything. again back to youtube for help because there's nothing in box to help with startup or troubleshooting. did everything suggested and success with no thanks to samsung. love the no glare screen.

User interface: Mehh, I am still getting used to it. I use The Frame in an office setting. Clients often assume it is only artwork... until I share a presentation on it. I love that when it is "off" it doesn't just look like a black rectangle on the wall. It is just what we were looking for in our office!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Frame TV exceeds expectations Our 50 inch Samsung Frame TV replaced our older 32 inch Samsung TV and the difference is night and day. The crisp quality of the picture in high definition is far superior to our prior model. Coupled with that is the Samsung TV options to stream television show and movies by simply having the TV connected to the Internet - no cable or satellite required. This is an extra we didn't even think of when we purchased the TV. Lastly is the Frame TV features itself. It allows for a picture to be displayed on the wall rather than just a blank screen. Haven't figured out all of the options on that yet but the included library of images has been a great start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save your money I am so disappointed in this TV. The $200 Insignia TV in my garage functions better than this thing and I paid over 10x as much for my Samsung. Where do I start? The Smart things app never works. It consistently tells me that my tv is offline when it’s not. I run the diagnostic test and everything looks ok but then when I do the next test for connection, it never finishes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and deleted the tv from my devices and started over. Streaming apps are hit or miss on the tv. Some days Hulu doesn’t load, some days it’s Netflix or HBO. The lag time with the remote is about 10 seconds sometimes when using the arrow keys to browse. Sometimes longer. If I’m binge watching a show, after a while the picture and sound become distorted. What I mean by that is the sound doesn’t match up with their mouths when they're talking. I have to continuously unplug the box, wait and plug back in to “reset” the tv. This isn’t ideal when the box is stored in the wall behind the TV as the TV is flush to the wall. I don’t understand why all these issues. I have another Samsung (not frame) from probably 10 years ago that I have a Google chrome plugged into so it’s always on and has art on the screen. I’ve never had any issues with this tv despite it being on constantly. The art function of the TV works fine, looks great. If you’re just looking for that function, this tv is great. If you plan to use it as a TV, go with another model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Buy 2022 Model - Terrible Dull, Dark Picture loved my 2018 frame tv, and when it died (< 4 years old) liked it enough to buy again. was excited about the new matte feature on the 2022 (supposed to reduce sun glare), but the picture is dull and dark -- even after manually adjusting the brightness and sharpness to the max. also: very poor selection of "complimentary" art; poor packaging and user documentation; and the samsung too cheap to include the usb cable required to charge the remote.

I grew up in a home without tvs in every room, and my partner did not so when we moved in together, I was not thrilled at the idea of a huge tv in our living space. They’re generally huge, ugly, and black eyesores in my opinion so when I found the frame I was super happy to invest in something that would blend in with the rest of our decor when not in use.

The picture is great and we have have had no issues streaming Netflix, Amazon or through DirectTV. Almost as important, the Frame looks great. The TV is located in our family room and several people have said they had no idea that it was a TV at all. That is, of course, the exact reason we purchased the Frame instead of another model. Additionally, the Frame was very easy to install. Good friends of ours liked it so much that they bought one for their family room as well.

The matte finish always blows me away when I see photos on it, but the TV is just as clear and 4k as any TV. Planning to buy a few more! Can't wait!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frame TV - don’t believe the hype this tv looks like a big conputer monitor with a screen saver. the only thing that makes it look like a picture in any form is that it’s thin. i had hoped to not wall mount as i have plaster walls, so i purchased an easel. it just looks like a normal tv on a camera tripod. the bezels to “frame” it that cost $150 are cheap plastic and just look like normal edging of a typical tv. you’re better off buying a less expensive tv and having someone crafty build a frame for it. the only reason i have yet to pack it up and return it is the sheer time it will take to do so and the fact that the delivery experience was awful, so i can only imagine how horrible the return experience will be. genuinely disappointed in this product. also tried to add a photo as proof but this site isn’t mobile friendly.

When my toddler threw a Duplo into our old Samsung TV in the basement family room, I knew it was time to move the old TV in our upstairs living room down to the basement and upgrade the look of the living room above the fireplace. The mounting system for the Samsung Frame TV is excellent. It's adjustable, strong, and light. The composite cable that runs over to the box was easy to run, although the large pre-terminated connectors need a large aperture to run through. The picture on the Frame is crisp. I'm very pleased with the user interface. We used a Roku before - which we were happy with, but the Samsung interface runs quicker and is attractive, intuitive, and configurable with an excellent app library. The biggest surprise is the sound quality. I ordered a sound bar, expecting the sound to be poor on such a thin screen. The sound is so good that we decided to return the sound bar. The teak wood frame snapped right on and looks great too. The one thing I'm disappointed with is that it isn't readily clear how to use my own photos in art mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Friends and family have asked where the TV is I love the art feature. I've had multiple people comment that they thought we'd moved our TV. I love how it sits flat on the wall and you can dim the art feature to make it look more realistic. The picture and sound are great. We got a 50" and the picture is actually larger than our old 50" tv because the border is so thin. I don't like how Samsung's "home" automatically pops up when you turn on the tv, and xfinity cable is hard to navigate through the samsung interface. This isn't frame-specific but applies to all current sumsung tvs.

After experimenting with not owning a television, we decided to get the Frame because we love the option of turning the big, black rectangle on the wall into a piece of art. Little did we expect the excellent picture and audio to boot. And the interface, ah the interface. The remote makes it a dream to navigate between apps. The design is art itself. The thin, clear wire was easy to hide and all our other devices plug into the hub making it clean, neat and easy. We ordered the bevel frame to make it match the mantel above our fireplace and we love surprising visitors when we turn the artwork into a fully functional TV. Don't let the slightly higher price scare you away. It is SO worth it for the thin profile, the easy mounting, the art mode, the easy-to-hide hub and the deluxe remote experience.

I never liked the look of a TV in a fancy living room, but this one absolutely fits. I change out the artwork every 2 months or so. Everyone who sees it, thinks it is such a great idea. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleep Mode not Working in Art Mode I love the Art Mode on this TV. I have the TV set up to go into sleep mode after 5 minutes but it doesn't. It worked when we first set the TV up - it would go into sleep mode and when you walked in the room the Art Mode would start. Now the sleep modes isn't working. I have tried locating the motion sensors to see if they are the problem, but cannot find any documentation that shows where the motion sensors are. I have a slide show of 4 or 5 pictures.

The included wall mounts do the job of keeping it really close to the wall. I couldn't hide the wire inside the wall but the translucent thin wire to the console is not noticeable at all. All TVs that are hung on the wall should be like this beautiful frame. And of course.. the picture quality is absolutely amazing.

I submitted a ticket for support over two weeks ago and they keep saying they will get back to me with solution but currently no idea what is going on. Terrible service and support for an overpriced TV that does nothing special.

We've had multiple people stare at it and comment on our art and be very surprised when we tell them its a tv. Our remote did stop working after only 4 months, we were told by someone at Samsung we could send in for a possible replacement but it meant we would have to take it down and jump through lots of hoops to get it. We opted to buy another remote and save the hassle. We had our receipt and purchase order number. Frustrating they couldn't just look it up and send us a new remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent TV in Sunroom I use this Frame TV for streaming only. It does an excellent job and has an abundance of Apps available and preloaded. No issues with adding Apps from the directory. I was able to load a family picture to use in the art function. There are a lot of options on the art editing program. The remote works very well. Finding a location to store the control box can be challenging. I put mine in a decorative wooden lattice box on the floor against the wall under the TV. That way it gets ventilation and is easily accessible. Hiding the wires to the control box was not difficult as it would be the same as any wall mounted TV. The screen function which eliminates glare is great. I have this TV in a lanai type room with a whole wall in front of it that is all large windows. There are also 2 skylights in that room. There is no issue at all with glare and the quality of the picture is great. I highly recommend this TV and would purchase again without hesitation.

Always too high and destroys the aesthetic of a beautiful stone fireplace. We saw the Frame and agreed it to be the perfect choice. It looks like a picture of art (well it is) when not on. And the flush mount is truly flush. We were able to put the single wire connect in the walls before the home was finished so we have no wires showing. Great design, picture and function!

It shuts off 1 min. after turning off the tv. Spent over two hours with tech support that was absolutely clueless. Truly they knew nothing about the product. I am going to return the tv tomorrow. But I now have the hassle of hiring someone to remove the tv from the wall. The picture frame tv is a great idea, but the product is terrible!!! FYI: I did all the updates. Sent a detail email to customer support. Neither resolved the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remote Not Pairing Very disappointed. I unboxed and installed the 50" frame on 11/20. On Christmas day, the One Remote became "unpaired" from the tv. I followed the steps to pair again and again without success. On 12/28, tech support confirmed the remote was defective and would replace it and that I should expect to receive the replacement within 5-14 days. Today, 1/17, they confirmed the replacement remote hasn't even shipped. I already wasn't happy that the remote went bad 1 month in. I'm even more upset it's taking so long to have a replacement sent. In the meantime, we're using the SmartThings app to control the tv, but it's extremely unresponsive and only sometimes works. Customer service was respectful but not competent.

I love when I'm playing music that I will have a cool interactive screensaver to fill the room with a wide number of enhanced scenes, filling any room with live art that moves to the music. Everything on a Samsung TV is enhanced with crystal sharp images no matter what type of media I'm streaming and it just shows to be far advanced than any other smart TV I've had thus far! Hopefully to last for years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update 1520: Apple TV no longer activates Art Mode Update 1520 caused a compatibility issue with Apple TV and Art Mode. Prior to this update, the system worked seamlessly: pressing the power button on the Apple TV remote activated Art Mode without any issues. Also, Art Mode would automatically be activated 15 minutes through Apple TV power off settings. However, after the update, pressing the Apple TV power button or auto power off option no longer trigger Art Mode and instead prompt an error message. Furthermore, it is alarming to note that I had disabled the automatic update option on the TV to prevent potential issues, yet the TV was still updated the following day, rendering Art Mode incompatible with Apple TV. Despite extensive troubleshooting efforts, which included experimenting with various settings on the Frame TV, performing a factory reset and even purchasing a brand-new Apple TV, the only result achieved was the once-a-day activation of Art Mode by the Apple TV, followed by recurring error messages. During a conversation with Supervisor Christopher on 9/15/23, I was informed that the TV is deemed fully operational and that I would incur charges if a technician were dispatched to investigate the issue. Regardless of multiple attempts to find a solution through tech support, the created tickets led absolutely nowhere. Art Mode, the reason I bought the Frame TV for, no longer works as when I purchased the TV.

It looks like art on the wall and looks beautiful in my living area… much better than a black rectangle on the wall! I can customize the screen for different events or holidays. For instance, I made a screen with a background of roses and the words “Will you accept this rose?” for a “Bachelor” viewing party. The tv picture itself looks great and doesn’t get a glare from our windows like our old tv did. Highly recommend!!

The wall mounting and set up was so easy. I have been using it the last couple of days and really enjoy the matte screen in our bedroom with large windows. I've called customer service twice with no solution and was told by customer service that this has been an issue they've been hearing a lot about lately. This TV is barely 3 months old now and, for the cost, it's very disappointing that there are already issues this quickly. A cheap TCL TV lasted longer than this!

Whether in art mode or watching tv, the colors are dull. The sound is constantly out of sync. Finding settings to fix it is impossible. The app is glitchy and poorly designed so that any attempt to use the advertised features is torturous and a huge waste of time. Plus, if you aren’t willing to share tons of information, including your precise location, you cannot use any features. Finally, I’ve tried to purchase an add on frame and studio stand but both are out of stock. Great idea but poorly executed and I regret my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slow, Glitchy, Obsolete & Overpriced I bought this tv just a month a go and its already struggling to function at a basic level and no way to get help from Samsung after 15 days. The remote just decided to stop connecting to the tv despite being fully charged and attempting the pair process countless time. Works randomly in 5 minute spurts throughout the day then doesn't work at all. Simply trying to navigate through the menus and applications even when the remote IS working is a slow painful glitchy process. Googling a solve left no answers from samsung but plenty of other frustrated customers dealing with the same thing without answers. I had a crappy old cheap tv before this upgrade and funny enough it worked so much better accessing the smart apps and HDMI connected devices I needed it to then this INSANELY overpriced piece of junk. ALSO keep in mind if you buy this tv for the aesthetics be aware that in order to get anything actually appealing or decent applied to this in art mode you will have to find, download, photoshop and upload your own artwork because the art subscription this tv demands is also overpriced which could maybe be forgiven if it had anything that wasn't incredibly tacky and ugly. Buy a glitchy slow tv with a remote that doesn't work after a month just to get the privilege of paying EVEN MORE to be able to have the option to display the most embarrassingly ugly stock art you've ever seen! Completely disappointing product, the "Samsung" name has fallen to mean nothing more than a corruption filled junk peddler.

The agency it provides in setting room tone and as a creative outlet is hands down worth every penny I spent. I’m leveraging generative AI to create custom art and it’s pretty cathartic to us it as my thought canvas. I think the SmartThings app is getting better but would love it to remember my visual preferences. The app is laggy at times but getting better.

The design of this TV is so great that I actually love it above the TV! It doesn't even look like a TV with its slick design. I bought the teak frame with it and when it's on the artwork display it really looks like a piece of artwork. I love that the mount it came with is super slim so this TV doesn't stick out from the wall. The connector wire is awesome too so I don't have a bunch of wires hanging from the TV. No google assistant No google meet features No Steam Link Impossible to remove all the preinstalled apps A lot of apps are missing as it's not using Google Store Basically the less smartest TV I've owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this TV We bought the TV because we wanted a nice size TV in our family room but didn't want the "look" of a big black hole when the TV was off. The Frame was exactly what we wanted. It really looks like a piece of art when the TV is off. The added features or auto on/off make it perfect. The picture quality and sound are great for what we use it for. I did add the soundbar as the room is big with high ceilings.

Our guests are always impressed and surprised it’s at tv! One of my favorite features is the anti-glare. We can see the screen perfectly, even in a sun-filled room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A New Experience in TV Enjoyment The Frame TV is an endless source of enjoyment. Not only do you have a wealth of streaming channels to choose from, but the Samsung Channel is a new discovery. That is available. The color and clarity of the TV itself is superb. It fits perfectly with my decor and media table and bookshelves. I love when I am not watching the TV there is a revolving panoply of artwork. I have seen many artists and their works I’m not familiar with. One can choose whimsy or well known art, it’s always a new find!
