Coming from a 10 year old hdmi smart TV to this for gaming is a godsend. If your looking for a new gaming monitor that's not to hard on the wallet give this one a try, you won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shipping damage and poor oem packaging too Expensive monitor was not double boxed and had a hole punched through where there was no padding between the box and screen. Terrible packaging to have a box with zero foam right in the middle of the screen. I do not know if I want to keep this because I'm not sure if it has been internally damaged. I am hoping it is just cosmetic. I'm very disgusted about how shabby I have been treated when it would only have cost $5 to double box it, considering the factory box does not have foam entirely protecting the face of the display, double boxing should be an absolute must. I think that I should at least get some kind of a discount for this. As far as the monitor goes, the anti-glare coating works better than any I ever saw for removing glare. Of course there is some degredation in image quality compared to gloss, but that is to be expected. The text is very clear, and a big step up from previous oled 4K versions. I am not sure I should keep this considering the hit it took in the substandard shipping box without proper protection. I would never have signed for it. Someone else did.

DO NOT BUY if you are planning to use this screen for more than once device connected. It will randomly switch from one source to another, then when you want it to auto switch by moving your mouse it won't. for a $800+ display that's unacceptable. It takes 15 seconds or more to switch sources bc it forces you through the home menu since this is smart tv and you need to see their ads every time you switch sources. I could go on... there are no workarounds. you can not buy a third party controller that has a source button on it or a quick switch inout somehow. I know its a lot to ask in 2025 from a $1200 screen,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best monitor I ever had. I love the monitor, it has an amaizing image quality. Display port 1.4 isn't a problem becase image quality with HDMI 2.1 and DSC remains the same. However it's unfortunate that it doesn't have the USB-C video output and KVM.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Oversight By Samsung This is an excellent monitor but it has some glaring weaknesses that never should have been allowed. The panel is capable of 4K 240 Hz but Samsung didn't put in DP 2.1 so it's impossible to hit that resolution and refresh rate without DSC (Display Stream Compression). Even the HDMI 2.1 ports only allows 4K at 144 Hz at most without compression. How this monitor was allowed to be so over spec'd but not have the necessary port bandwidth is a huge oversight. Which sucks because this thing is just about perfect otherwise. The matte screen helps with glare so much more than other comparable OLED screens. Everything is crisp and beautiful with the pixel density offered at 4K 27" screen size. If DP 2.0 can be enabled via a firmware update of some kind then I think Samsung definitely needs to do it. And also someday swallowing their pride and making their TVs and monitors Dolby Vision compatible. I'm still keeping this for now because it's a big improvement over my current IPS monitor but if another company released a matter screen with DP 2.1 I would be abandoning this monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek design top quality This monitor has the best design imo amongst the competitors. I especially like the metal stand, it's sturdy and flat, so you can still have the space on your desk. There really not much to say about the panel as Samsung is the dominating the space. I personally love the anti reflection coating despite many people on the internet hates it. I put my PC in a bright room close to window, and it's significantly better to look at than the glossy ones. One minor downside for the monitor is the ports. The DP port is only DP 1.4, although enough to drive to the max specs of the monitors with DSC, it still feels somewhat a disappointment given this is the latest flagship model. It also doesn't have usb C ports, although it's not common in gaming monitor, I think it's much versatile. Since you can essentially use it for both data, display and even power delivery. The usb A ports on the back are not useful, unless you buy a separate mini usb cable (not included in the package) and connect it to your PC to turn the USB ports as a hub. All of it would've been solved by a single usb C port. Overall, I really love this product and has been absolutely enjoying it.

I cant plug it in without all the ports pishi g inside the monitor and snapping Not happy about the poor packaging. For $1300 bucks this thing should be perfect. I recorded a video showing my issue. But it wont post. So i just took a picture of the input shield so you knkw what i am talking about

This is my second gaming monitor I have ever own and love it. I use it for gaming of course and the quality is good, I messed with the settings for picture to adjust the contrast and brightness to make the colors more natural. I also use it to stream shows and anime of course. Overall an amazing Monitor and amazing picture quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value monitor so far Great colors and image after tweaking a bit and playing around with the settings on the monitor and windows/amd. Running this with a 7900xt and 4K gaming for the first time and it’s amazing. Freesync makes a world of difference I was worried I would have to lower my settings, but this thing is a beast. Runs cool and use it for productivity and studying and not worried about burn in because of it. Highly recommend, only downside I’d put is the IO panel feels easily breakable if you jam the connectors in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unacceptable matte finish I really struggle to understand how this product made it into the real world without anyone intervening. I own other Samsung screens, including an OLED TV, which has a glossy screen and is beautiful. With this monitor, however, they tried to use some sort of matte screen technology that leaves a very visible cloudy / smudgy appearance all over the screen. It is extremely visible any time you have white or other light-colored content on the screen, which for me is quite a lot. The whole purpose of buying a top-of-the-line OLED monitor like this for the excellent appearance of the screen, and yet this one looks worse than screens much cheaper. Unfortunately, I feel this one is a big miss by Samsung. Hopefully they learn from this, because I have a large number of Samsung screens and enjoy the ecosystem, especially the ability to calibrate the screens with my Samsung Galaxy phones.

Solid overall performance, but text fringing is noticable when reading text, but this is just inherent to QDOLEDs. Solid construction and feels premium. Looks significantly better than my ips monitor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it a lot This is my 3rd 27" OLED monitor and by far the best. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: First 4K 27" OLED panel with high refresh rate on the market. Finally no text clarity issues due to unusual sub pixel layout like predecessors used to have. It's thin and light and partially made out of metal therefore feels premium. Cons: No KVM that would be very useful for productivity. No USB-C to connect and charge your laptop with just one cable. USB type-A cable wasn't included in the box, that's unusual.

Low input lag is also important, but that's the case with most monitors. Having VRR support helps reduce screen tearing, and most monitors support common VRR formats. Lastly, premium monitors usually have incredible picture quality, so they offer the best of both worlds. Even some entry-level monitors have good picture quality, but these are less common.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has everything. The specs are frankly overkill. On DP1.4, the option of 10bit 4K 240Hz shows up, it looks fantastic. I haven't really noticed and FSC artifacts. The display is gorgeous, input latency is nothing noticable, and the pixel response time plus 240Hz yields the best gaming experience. Movies look fine once settings are dialed in. I do wish Samsung made it easy to get a mode where nothing more than the most accurate and true to the original picture was displayed.

It's been over 2 months and I still haven't been refunded my purchase. No offer to replace the defective monitor, told to file a police report, multiple hours on hold to be told "we're escalating the matter" and told "we'll respond within 3 business days" only to be dismissed. I don't know how to file a police report on something that is not stolen.

When it comes to PC Screens Samsung is the #1 brand to deliver crisp sound,immersive colors and visuals, glare reduction, and keeps a cool temperature to. The aluminum chassis gives the monitor a truly premium feel to match the gorgeous picture quality of the QD-OLED. Despite a matte coating it maintains great clarity and content looks fantastic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This monitor is great I am using this monitor mainly for gaming and it’s been a great treat. I had a non-oled 2k monitor, and the quality of this thing is beyond imaginable. The monitor does get a little warm with default settings, I think this could be caused by the cooling features where it tries and disperses heat. You should bring down the brightness as it’s maxed out by default.

The colors are very dynamic and the backlight on the monitor adds for a more dynamic/diverse experience. I like to use the backlight in sync with the picture on screen. Adjusting the monitor's height or tilts is very simple. This is a wonderful monitor and i highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 months in, couple major issues. Well, they got me. After tons of research on oleds, I decided to hop in. A month in, hadnt heard anything about my promotional headset. Contact support. We'll get it taken care of. Nope. Two weeks later. We'll get it taken care of. Nope. Now 3 months from ordering. Still hasn't been taken care of. Now three months in, I'm starting to notice screen burn in. I play a couple hours a day, when I walk away from the pc, I minimize anything I had open and have task bar set to hide. The main game i play that has a static hud, I hide hud in until I'm about to be in combat(World of Warcraft) AND have burn in protection addon which dims my screen to black if I'm afk for any more than a minute AND constantly shifts my UI, 30pixels at a time to random spots. Yet here I am, with my health bar burnt into the screen. Support says I'll be without a monitor til they fix it, which I obviously have little faith in, being 3 months into an existing issue. May just chuck it on marketplace and buy an asus, or question oled altogether again.

With that being said, coming out of the box, the colors are very vibrant and text when working is very clear. I play FPS and RPG games on this monitor and the 240 hz refresh rate is solid. I’m considering buying another one for my setup!

I not only use it for gaming but i use it for streaming and over sees phone calls for skype and wow my 360 go pro plays remarkable on it. It might be a little pricy but every penny is worth it.
