It’s super compact (like, smaller than a car key) and feels really sturdy for how tiny it is. I toss it in my bag, and it doesn’t take up any space or feel fragile. What I love most is how fast it moves files. I’ve used it to back up photos, transfer videos between my laptop and phone, and even carry some work projects. The transfer speeds are quick enough that I don’t sit there staring at a progress bar forever. It plugs right into my USB-C port, so no more flipping the drive around to find the right side, which is such a small thing but makes it so much easier to use. It also works on my phone and tablet, which is great when I want to clear space or share big files fast. Bonus: it’s water-, shock-, and temperature-resistant—basically, built to survive real life. Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT Storage & AWESOME Safety & AFFORDABLE I got this product, The USB TYPE-C FLASH DRIVE 64GB, for Christmas & I love the amount of space that ot has. It was SUPER QUICK in transferring my videos from my phone so that I could delete them from my device & have more room for more videos & they're now in a secure place--no need to worry about loosing special & (some) private parts of my life, or someone having access to them if they get into my phone (theft or being TOO nosey!). It literally took SECONDS to get over 2hours worth of recordings transferred (& there's room for up to an hour more)! The videos are in 4K, which kept them clear & the talking or music speed sounds perfect--mo lagging. My videos are mainly rather short, 2-3-5 min clips. Although I did have a FEW 10in clips. It didn't matter how short or long the clip was, the transfer was less than 1min. I also was able to tranfer over 8,000 photos!!! And guess what, it STILL ONLY TOOK SECONDS! I was glad to get so many photos & videos off my phone, in their correct format, without any trouble. It makes it so much easier to pop the USB into my computer & then be able to select & edit, crop, delete, &/or even photoshop some of the photos &videos that I want, without having to worry about messing up due to not having a lot of finger space (pressing wrong buttons is easy with you have long nails or chubby fingers or go to fast & I tend to have/do all!) & I have more software on my computers & laptops in order to do more things with both my photos & video's. I have several older phones that I am going to use the usb for once I clean up & clear out the items I don't need & more than likely, I'm gonna spend a few more bucks & get one of the USB'S with a higher capacity. I trust this brand, as I've owned several Samsung phones &TVs. I've bnever had ant problems with Samsung! I LOVE that it is WATER PROOF & TEMPERATURE PROOF (I've left a few in my blazing hot car before & things have spilled on my backpack or purse before & in the past, items have been effected). I appreciate that it is magnet proof because I've had items stop working & been ruined after coming in contact (somehow) with a magnet & I've lost information (documents, photos & videos from my whole day exploring in Freeport, Bahamas at one of our port stops on my first & only cruise--bummer BIG TIME) SO THOSE were GREAT additions I considered! I'm happy with this product. And the color is cute. Looking forward to new colors & designs. I usually add some stickers or personal drawing of my initials or the year onto the case.

I assumed only devices without expandable memory (microSD slots) would benefit. Totally wrong was I and so gratefully when my SD card got stuck in my phone for a while!!! Faced with a PLETHORA of options ... an endless sea of gadgets looming before me... it was definitely my past experience with Samsung combined with the size, the reviews (and the customer support with issues expressed there) that made my decision an easy one. I'll need to upgrade soon though! And now... Can't wait to try the fit next. Storage the size of a dongle? Sign me up!!!

I thought I was going to leave my phone for a bit transferring 50 gb from phone to this storage stick but call of duty hadn't even finished loading up when I looked over and it was done... I triple checked because I really couldn't believe it.. and no I'm not gaming on dail up when it comes to internet I will always get the fastest for my gaming addiction, and now that I can transfer my gaming videos quicker than I can restart cod I'm always going to use these usb c memory sticks.

The only issue I have is that sometimes the fit is too tight to use when my phone has a case on it. I wish the connector was just a little bit longer. Overall, though, it's a great product.

The speed of this drive is incrediably fast when you are reading and writing data with it. The speed of my phone's data downloads are quite impressive compared to other brands that would have the exact same specs and cost a lot more. I can transfer 4GB of my files in a few seconds (literally will transfer in seconds). I highly recommend purchasing this flash drive if you are looking for a reliable, fast, durable, and compact flash drive for a very reasonable price. This unit is very well built in terms of design, quality and durability and for the price is a no-brainer. Samsung once again you have created another great quality product for a reasonable price. I have started to purchase the majority of my electronic products and devices under the Samsung brand and I will continue to as long as you are producing quality products for a reasonable price in these times when you are not able to find quality electronic products anymore. The big brands that I have purchased for years are not even reliable anymore. It moved around 243 photos and videos in under a minute, so I believe that's pretty quick. The only feature I wish it had was some way to keep the cap attached. Maybe have a magnet in the cap and in the bottom of the drive so that way they'll click together. But other than that, no regrets. ??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performance Metrics are Misleading when it says you will get 300 mb/s transfer speeds i'm just letting you know right now that you won't even come close to that. the thumb drive does hit 300 mb/s read speed but that means nothing when it comes to transfers. best i got out of 3 tests on a usb 3.1 usb c connection directly into my motherboard was 36.62 mb/s write speeds. pretty bad i bought this just because i needed something cheap to use the rest of my promo money but if you want performance look elsewhere. also if you plan on using this with a phone that has a case on it i would look elsewhere as well. i have a slim spigen case on my s20 ultra and the wide base of the thumb drive hits the case which isn't a narrow cutout.

By downloading said files, we know that they are safe in our own safe. We do not have to worry about any data breaches whereby files can be copied by any hacker or be concerned with being locked out and being held for ransom. The flash drive is easily stored as it takes up little space. It also can be taken somewhere it is needed without worrying about vulnerabilities during online transfer or while being accessed remotely online.

This has been a great, well designed, easy to use product and the quality is better than any othher flash drive I have purchased or used from any other brand. I will be using Samsung from now on when it comes to storage/extra memory. BEWARE OF THE COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS THAT ARE OUT THERE!! They look identical, but are not the same. It can actually be quite dangerous if you use them when it comes to data security and the security of whatever device you plug it into, even if it is brand new/straight out of the packaging.
