2018 One Connect is not compatible with 2019
The 2018 one connect is not compatible with the 2019 TV’s. A 15m one connect cable is not available for the 2019 format.

Great Solution Stop squeezing OneConnect behind TV
This cable is necessary for the installing the OneConnect box in a cabinet or rack that is not directly under the TV. The boxes are thicker this year because they include the TV power supply. Fitting them in an inwall box behind the TV is not always practical do to the overall dimensions.
MegP doesn't seem to understand the concept of OneConnect and why the cables changed from last year and by nature are proprietary. The OneConnect box both allows you to have your inputs located in an accessible location when your TV is wall mounted, and potentially upgrade capabilities in the future by upgrading the box. This years cable carries both power and all signals to the panel, the old TVs didn't do this so had a different cable. HDMI cables cannot do this. Samsung offers other models where you connect an HDMI directly to the back of the TV which make work better in certain situations. But you give up the upgrade ability. The cable is "expensive" because it is fiber optic, clear, and carries power. It is good value for what you are getting. It would be great if longer lengths were possible but the two sizes will cover most situations.

Where do I get more bending covers?
The TV comes only with one bending cover for the one connect cable. Where do I get more bending covers?

doesn't work with new 2019 TV
I bought this about 3 months ago, had my contractor install it behind the drywall they were putting up for the announced, and TBR refreshed model of the TV. Now the cable that goes from my TV location to my AV closet won't plug into my new TV that arrived yesterday. Samsung either needs to release an adaptor that works with the 2019 tv, ship me new cable ends that I can mount on the 2018 cable, or help some other way. From what I can find on the internet and on samsungparts.com there's not a 2019 cable released yet. They are clearly manufacturing the 5m cable that ships in the box.

The worst
Do not buy this tv. I made the mistake and returned my first and exchanged for a second. Wish I would have washed my hands and walked away. I love Samsung but this tv is like the cheapest product ever released...ever. Don’t be fooled by the “one connect”. They have NOT figured out this technology

Poor Quality
Stopped working within several months of purchase from "pressure" on the cable. Had to have technical team come evaluate the tv to tell me this. Gave it a 2 star rather than 1 since Samsung replaced the cable
