Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shame on SAMSUNG! I love how the moment that I give a one star review and I am asked to call 1-800 SAMSUNG if it’s a service issue. It is definitely a service issue because I have no idea Showed up damaged. It was returned to SAMSUNG on August 31, 2026 and they have yet to send me a replacement. So I have absolutely no idea what this sound bar actually sounds like. Shame on SAMSUNG for absolutely horrific Customer Service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bluetooth and remote work very well. The sound quality is ultra clear with the subwoofer giving deep rich bass. It brings the movie theater sound to your home. The pieces do not take up a lot of space and there is no lag time (bluetooth works perfect). Using the provided template, mounting was very easy. The remote is easy to use and works very well. Just as a side note, my TV is also Samsung, picture quality is absolutely insane.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connection options are low... The main concern is the limited connectivity options, specifically the single micro HDMI ARC port. This design choice severely restricts the ability to connect multiple devices, forcing users to rely on the television or switching inputs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality, Design, and Performance I have been using this product for a while now, and overall I am very satisfied with it. The first thing I noticed was the clean and modern design. It looks premium, feels well made, and matches my Samsung device perfectly. The fit is accurate, and everything lines up the way it should without making the device difficult to use. The quality also feels durable. It does not feel cheap or flimsy, and it seems like it can handle normal daily use without any problem. The materials feel solid, and I like that it still looks good even after regular handling. I also appreciate that it does not add too much unnecessary bulk, which makes the device comfortable to use and carry. Installation was simple, and the product stayed in place well. I did not have any major problems with adhesion or compatibility. Buttons, ports, speakers, and other important areas remain easy to access. Sound quality is not noticeably affected, which is important to me because I use my device for calls, videos, and music throughout the day. One of the best things about this product is that it combines protection, function, and appearance without making the device feel awkward. It does what I expected and feels like a good match for my Samsung device. So far, I have had a very good experience and have not found any major issues. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for something that is easy to use, well designed, durable, and compatible with their Samsung device. For the quality and overall experience, I believe it deserves a full five-star rating. I like that the product feels thoughtfully designed for everyday use. Small details make a difference, and nothing feels out of place. It gives me confidence it will continue performing well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing features I have been very impressed with the Samsung HW-S800D. The first thing I noticed was just how slim and clean the soundbar looks under the TV. It has a very modern, understated design, but the sound it produces is much bigger than you would expect from something this thin. Dialogue stays clear and easy to understand, even during action scenes, and movies have a surprisingly wide, immersive soundstage. Dolby Atmos does a great job adding a sense of space and height, especially with a good Atmos soundtrack. The wireless subwoofer is another strong point. It provides deep, powerful bass without overpowering voices or the rest of the soundtrack. Setup was simple, and I like that I don't have to constantly adjust the settings depending on what I'm watching. Adaptive Sound does a good job balancing movies, television, and music automatically. Overall, the HW-S800D delivers an excellent combination of sound quality, bass, features, and design. It gives you a much more immersive experience than TV speakers while keeping everything clean and unobtrusive. If you want strong home theater sound without putting a large soundbar in front of your TV, I would definitely recommend the HW-S800D.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just put a cash such great sound and low profile as an audio enthusiast and completely love this product as it it has such low profile that is it is not a nice one which my wife loves to get at the same time it has as much thump and clarity to it as a full surround sound system would as I replaced on full size receiver tower speakers and satellite surround sound for this low profile slim sound bar that compliments my 65-in frame TV without it being such a nice or when watching movies or to visitors when they come and yet they all love the sound and wonder if it's just this small products that's doing it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bout that bass Bump bump bass in the place. Surround sound systems offer an immersive way to enjoy movies, music, and games. They create a sense of depth and realism by distributing audio from multiple channels. This technology aims to place you right in the middle of the action. We hope this provides a helpful overview of the subject.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great soundbar and subwoofer. I've had this soundbar and subwoofer combo for a few months, and I love it. I live in a smaller apartment, and the sound is perfect for my living room. Connected to my Samsung Q90F TV with Q-Symphony, the sound fills the room. Deep bass, and clear highs. Either, music or watching TV, it was the perfect choice. It connected seamlessly with my TV using HDMI/Arc. Playing video games is another plus. I haven't heard my games this clearly using other soundbars. This soundbar was a definite upgrade from my lower tier Samsung sound bar and subwoofer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim Design, Big Sound - a Great Samsung Soundbar I'm very pleased with my Samsung HW-S800D soundbar. It has a sleek, low-profile design that looks great with my TV without taking up much space, but the sound is surprisingly rich, clear, and immersive. Dialog is easy to hear, music sounds full, and movies have much more impact than with the TV speakers alone. Setup was simple, and it pairs beautifully with my Samsung TV. Excellent sound quality in a stylish, compact package.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable sound in a slim soundbar I recently purchased the Samsung HW-S800D Dolby Atmos Soundbar and Subwoofer, and I couldn’t be more happier. It is ultra-slim and elegant and it delivers exceptional, room-filling, clear sound that transforms my TV viewing experience to a much higher level. This the slimmest Dolby Atmos soundbar available and I am very pleased with the size and quality. The Dolby Atmos performance is outstanding — I can actually hear sound moving around and above me, creating a cinematic, 3D audio effect that feels immersive and lifelike. The wireless subwoofer produces deep, rich bass without being overpowering, perfectly balancing the crisp highs and detailed mids from the soundbar. Due to its small size, it can be placed in a place to have a minimalist look of your room. Together, they deliver a beautifully layered audio experience. Setup was quick and easy, and the soundbar integrated seamlessly with my Samsung TV through Q-Symphony, making both the TV and soundbar speakers work in together for an even more clearer audio. Most of all, I love the minimalist design, is stunning, sleek, modern, and space-saving. It blends perfectly with my decor and looks premium. I give it five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Family Oriented Audio Experience ?The Samsung S800D series soundbar has earned its spot as the ultimate audio upgrade for modern, family-focused living rooms. If you’ve been searching for a system that delivers truly rich, immersive sound without requiring you to reorganize your entire home or risk shaking the plaster off the walls, this is the one. ?Perfect Harmony for the Family Environment ?For many families, the challenge with premium home audio is the sheer size and aggressive bass of high-end systems. The S800 completely solves this. Its standout feature is its ultra-slim profile—at just about 1.6 inches deep, the soundbar practically disappears under your TV, especially if wall-mounted (it’s a perfect visual match for The Frame TVs). This sleek aesthetic keeps the focus on the screen and your decor, not on bulky equipment. ?Rich, Room-Filling Sound That Doesn’t Overpower ?Despite its diminutive size, the 3.1.2 channel configuration and dedicated wireless subwoofer are engineering marvels. The soundbar delivers crystal-clear dialogue thanks to a dedicated center channel, which is crucial for watching movies or TV shows with kids. But where it truly shines for a family environment is the bass. ?The compact wireless subwoofer provides that much-needed low-end rumble to make movies feel cinematic, but it is impressively clean and controlled. It offers a rich layer of depth. We love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound Love the sound from this thin but mighty soundbar using Q-Symphony. My tv is hung from the wall, and this soundbar works perfectly for my situation where I have the soundbar hung under my tv using a soundbar mount that connects to the back of the tv. My only gripe would be when I needed to do a firmware update... Out of the box I was getting hardly any bass from the woofer. I called support and they suggested updating to the latest firmware which did fix the problem, this is something that I thought I had already done through the SmartThings App. However the latest firmware update SmartThings was not recognizing, Samsung sort this out! This also happened on my previous Samsung soundbar. Next problem was this soundbar comes with a USB-A port, who does that! Luckily I still had a usb-a drive lying around in the back of a drawer however then I realized there is absolutely no way that ANY USB drive is going to fit where they have placed this usb port, totally dumb design, I had to purchase a USB extension cable that would connect from my usb drive to the port in the corner of the soundbar. Whoever designed that should be fired, such a dumb design that you cannot directly plug a usb drive to the port because of the corner that it is placed in, and a USB-A port as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I recently purchased an Ultra Slim Sound Bar, and overall, I have been very impressed with its performance. The first thing I noticed was the sleek, low-profile design. It fits nicely underneath my TV without taking up much space, and it gives my entertainment setup a much cleaner and more modern appearance. The sound quality is much better than I expected from such a slim unit. Voices are clear and easy to understand, which makes watching movies and television shows much more enjoyable. The sound also has a good level of depth, making action scenes, music, and sports feel more immersive. It provides a noticeable improvement over the built-in speakers on my TV. I also really like how simple the sound bar is to use. Setup was straightforward, and connecting it to my television did not take much effort. Once connected, it was easy to control and adjust the volume while watching different types of content. Another thing I appreciate is the compact design. It doesn't dominate the room or require a lot of space, making it a great option for someone who wants better sound without installing a large home theater system. For the price, I feel this Ultra Slim Sound Bar offers excellent value. It looks good, sounds good, and is easy to set up and operate. If you're looking for an affordable way to improve your TV's sound while keeping a clean setup, I would definitely recommend giving this sound bar a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth your money Overall Impression: "I am incredibly impressed with this soundbar. The ultra-slim design is exactly what I needed to blend seamlessly into my living room decor without blocking the bottom of my TV screen". Sound Quality: "The audio quality is awesome! It delivers a rich, immersive experience with clear dialogue, especially thanks to the dedicated center channel and Active Voice Amplifier feature". "The wireless subwoofer provides a nice, deep bass that really makes movies come alive". "I love the Dolby Atmos support; the sound genuinely feels like it's flowing above and around me". Connectivity and Features: "Setup was a breeze, and I appreciate the range of connectivity options including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi". "The Q-Symphony feature is a great bonus when paired with my Samsung TV, making the speakers work as one unit". "The built-in Alexa is also a convenient touch". Minor Drawbacks: "While it sounds great for movies and TV, I found that music playback was a bit of a letdown compared to the cinematic experience". "I also had a couple of intermittent connectivity issues, but nothing major that ruined the overall experience". "Overall, I highly recommend this soundbar for anyone looking for a powerful, yet discreet, home theater audio solution."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waste of Money It randomly stops outputting sound every few months and it only plays the background sounds of a tv show/movie when I can reconnect it. I have tried every way to troubleshoot the system in the manual, resetting the entire thing multiple different ways and even checked for updates. I finally gave up and just use the TV speakers. This was a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect companion for my Neo QLED TV My old soundbar bit the bullet so I replaced it with this ultra slim HW-S800D. I needed a slim soundbar to sit below the TV which is wall mounted a little too low and my old soundbar would partially block the lower part of the screen. This ultra slim soundbar is perfect! The sound is crystal clear, the bass is deep and powerful. While I was at it, I upgraded my TV to a QN90D. These two work in perfect "Symphony", i.e. Q-Symphony mode. Very spacial sound. I highly recommend the HW-S800D, especially when paired with a new Samsung Neo QLED TV!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 8 months Very disappointed and would not recommend this soundbar. Was decent while it worked but after 8 months, stopped working and Samsung support didn’t do much to help with a resolution. It’s a long paper weight, dust collector at this point. Look elsewhere if you want a soundbar you could rely on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great soundbar poor performaing subwoofer/surround I wanted a soundbar that matched my TV and decided to pair this due to the Q-Symphony. The sound bar itself is great. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sound bar design I paired this up with my Samsung The Frame TV (2022) via wifi and Smartthings. It is very thin and discreet in size that it doesn't give away my 65" "Painting" as a TV. The installation is flawless. I use the TV+Soundbar settings (Q-Symphony) and Adaptive sound. It was a total game changer. I experimented with Twisters, Top Gun Maverick movies to test the Dolby Atmos. Its was GOOD. The small subwoofer shows its weakness in a big room. But what can you expect from a 9" woofer. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS DEVICE IS GARBAGE—STAY AWAY If I could give a rating of zero stars or lower I would. This device was purchased less than 1 year ago. Sound bar will not connect to a Samsung 65” OLED television nor any other television. The HDMI function does not work nor does the WIFi. The subwoofer will not connect to my home network along with the authorized repair center where this device was purchased. About the only positive thing I can say is Samsung honored the warranty and I was told HDMI does work and they replaced the WiFi module. They sent a video as proof. When it won’t connect at your house; well it’s hard to verify. Stay away from this. Save your money for something that actually does what the company says it can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Sound! Quirky Alexa! Overall, I like this soundbar. The audio clarity and depth from movies and streaming content is very good. The connectivity with our Samsung TV and the soundstage feature makes a really nice room filling experience. The size of the soundbar is awesome and with a couple of 3D printed stands, it sits up off of the stand below the TV and looks purposeful. The one negative I have with this device is the built-in Alexa. This was something that made me lean towards this particular model and I have to say, it's less than stellar. The response is slow and it doesn't integrate well with the other Echo devices. For example, I have a group of devices that I like to play music on throughout the house. This device is our main one and I cannot integrate it with the Alexa app into this group. It's also on the older version of Echo's software so it has trouble with some of the automations I have set up for lights and outlets. This isn't a big detraction from how good overall the device is though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best speaker and ultrathin soundbar ever! This sound experience will take whoever purchases this subwoofer and soundbar from Samsung, straight to the movie theater! As far as quality goes, it literally will feel like you are right in the theater while you're at home! The ultrathin model makes it better for the overall look and design and easier to find placement for it and it looks modern so it doesn't stick out and look bulky or ugly in the home. There is no other sound experience like one from Samsung with this subwoofer and soundbar and you are missing out if you don't buy it right now! I can't believe they haven't sold out of these yet, to be quite honest!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great budget friendly soundbar I absolutely love this soundbar!! It comes with a subwoofer, and the soundbar. It sounds amazing! I have it syned up with my Samsung TV and love it. It was easy to setup, and really makes me enjoy streaming television shows. I use it for video streaming for movies and for video games primarly. I love how it makes it sound 3D and so much better than just having sound from the TV. The subwoofer also works great and you can feel it in your chest when the bass drops! I would also like to mention I love how light the soundbar is, and how little space it takes up! Take a look at the picture - it's a tiny size, but really performs when it comes to the sound quality. I would definitely recommend this soundbar - you can't beat it for the price and for the quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When it works, it is nice.m. but it often doesnt The wireless sou d often lags behind the picture or has a static quality to it. I have repeatedly had to reset the soundbar or television to sync. It works for awhile but with any glitch in wifi service, turning off improperly etc sends it right back to the same problem. Sounds good when it works. But overall, it is a lot of fighting to make it work. No one should have to delay their tv to sync with the soundbar upon powering on, etc to have audio follow picture.

The sound quality is crisp and clear and never distorted. Very easy to use and easy to set up I'm planning on buying another Samsung soundbar for the bedroom and for my den. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing For The Size - Some Connection Glitches Having previously owned various soundbars and bookshelf speakers, I can attest to the significant improvement a subwoofer makes. While the included subwoofer is compact, the soundbar itself seamlessly integrates with the TV, virtually disappearing from view. In terms of audio quality, I genuinely believe it rivals my former Sonos Arc and other setups I've experienced. A key advantage for me is that, unlike the Sonos, this soundbar doesn't obstruct the lower edge of the screen. I appreciate products that blend into the environment rather than drawing attention to themselves. I have encountered occasional connectivity hiccups. For instance, when switching from direct Spotify listening to the TV, I sometimes need to power cycle the soundbar via the app to establish a connection, and the same goes for the reverse. I've attempted several resets to no avail, and while it's not a constant problem, it's a peculiar glitch. Nevertheless, given all its positives, I really have no complaints. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overall Sound I am extremely pleased with my new purchase of the Samsung S800D 3:1 sound bar. It delivers great quality sound that's perfect for watching movies or listening to music. The sound bar itself offers crisp, clear sound that catches every word, while the bass speaker never misses a beat, delivering just the right amount of bass that drops directly in the center of the film. The total immersion of sound offers a whole new feel to movie watching. With its built in Bluetooth feature, it make connection simple for enoying your favorite playlist directly from my cellphone. The built in preset equalizers modes for perfecting your sound was a huge plus for fine tuning. The sleek design proved to be the perfect dimensions for complimenting my 77in OLED S95F fitting just right when wall mounted underneath. Overall... this was a great buy. Samsung didn't miss with this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The overall review is that is impressive The ultra-slim bar flush under a TV. It's the market leader in this specific form factor. Despite its tiny drivers, surprise at its ability to project a wide and tall soundstage. Very powerful subwoofer. When paired with a compatible 2024 Samsung TV, it can receive a Dolby Atmos signal over Wi-Fi, completely eliminating the need for an HDMI cable and achieving the ultimate minimalist setup. If you have a Samsung TV, this feature is a major bonus. It syncs the TV's speakers with the soundbar's, creating an even fuller and more convincing wall of sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what I've been searching for To paint a bigger picture, I'm a college student. with this title, brings much stress to my everyday life. I find that life is such a precious thing that we all have, and so I always find ways to relieve such stress, so I can not only achieve all my life goals but also have a long lasting one. One of my favorite things to relieve stress is going to the movie theater. but with tickets becoming more expensive. it can't always be a regular thing, and it's a disappointment considering that my favorite part of a movie theater is the surround sound and it's realistic feeling when viewing a movie. My job offers discounts towards Samsung products and I was recommended to further explore my love for sound through a surround sound system, and it so happens that Samsung has the best options for just that. saving up for my Samsung surround sound has to be one of the best decisions I've ever made, not only do I get an amazing listening experience but also feeling like I'm at the movie theater. I deeply appreciate the effort and technology that has been put into these products, and I deeply appreciate the little moments I get to reduce my stress as I navigate this thing called life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great and small form-factor soundbar From a background perspective, I have had at least a half a dozen soundbara over the years. This model, however, is my favorite. Visitors to my house are always perplexed about where the wonderful sound is coming from. Certainly it can't be coming from that slim soundbar, especially the bass. I have the wireless bass hidden under a nearby end table, so it's not easily seen. And since it's wireless, there are no wires giving away its location. You can tweak its sound, which includes amplifying voices, if so desired. And don't let is small form factor deceive you, it can get quite loud. As I said in the beginning of this review, it is easily my favorite soundbar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent but has an annoying catch The soundbar doesn't stay connected when i switch to some of the streaming apps. Just wish I didn't have to manually connect it when switching to certain apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible product and Horrible Service Purchased and after 6 months it stopped powering on. Samsung said to send it to a repair company called TECHEIM, INC. I paid $25 in packing and sent it with the power supply (since the issue was powering on). Several weeks later it was returned and the power supply was not in the box. Samsung customer service says I have to deal with TECHEIM and TECHEIM doesn't answer their phone (the voicemail box is full). $600 plus soundbar that works for 6 months is not good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique Sound Quality My wife are movie fanatics. We want to keep the volume low but still get quality sound. That is hard to do with just the TV speakers. We did a lot of research and found the Samsung S-series bar to be what we were looking for. Great sound quality where you can hear every word, even whispers at any volume. But in those movies where there are car crashes or explosions you can feel the vibrations and feel like you are actually there. I am very pleased with my Samsung sound bar. It has brought a whole new enjoyment to our movie watching experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Audio Performance & Channels The Samsung HW-S800D (frequently designated as HW-S800D/ZA or regional equivalents) is Samsung’s premier lifestyle-focused soundbar. Designed to defy physics, it packs immersive object-based audio into an exceptionally slender profile Ultra-Slim Profile: The soundbar is remarkably thin—measuring roughly 1.5 inches square/deep and stretching about 45 inches across. It is built to seamlessly complement modern wall-mounted or stand-placed flat-screen TVs (especially 55-inch models and larger) without blocking the screen or infrared sensor.

I've looked up troubleshooting options and haven't found any resolution to the issue. Ultimately, i just keep reconnecting. The only time it doesn't do this, is when i play music on my tv, which goes throuh the earc thing. So workaround, not a fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing speaker Ultra-Slim Minimalist Design: I love how this soundbar is so unbelievably sleek and low-profile that it practically disappears when mounted under a TV, matching the aesthetic of modern displays like the Samsung Frame.Immersive Cinematic Sound: For such a skinny device, the audio experience is massive; the 3.1.2ch Dolby Atmos tech creates a really convincing three-dimensional soundstage that makes watching movies feel way more immersive.Crystal Clear Dialogue: One of the biggest wins is the voice clarity; the dedicated center channel and Active Voice Amplifier mean I can finally catch every word of dialogue without needing to rely on subtitles.Powerful Wireless Bass: Don't let the size fool you—the compact wireless subwoofer delivers surprisingly rich, punchy bass that adds a serious rumble to action scenes and games without needing messy cable runs across the room.Seamless Smart Integration: Setting it up is a breeze thanks to the wireless connectivity and Q-Symphony feature, which lets the soundbar and my TV speakers work together for a perfectly synchronized, room-filling sound experience..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Soundbar with a Sleek Look Awesome soundbar! I have the HW-S800D paired with the 9500s rear speakers and maaaan, this sound bar really shines!. The Dolby Atmos sound is amazing. You hear every detail coming from all angles even above your head. Everything works seamlessly with the Q-symphony feature from my S95C. I also had the S800B which was also great, but I noticed the S800D really sounds more crisp and detailed thanks to the updated eARC cable. I'm so impressed with the sound/imaging and resolution that comes out of this soundbar, so much so, I end up not watching TV and just listen to Apple music for hours. Listening to spatial audio tracks on this set up is mind blowing its like a 3D soundcoming from a concert hall. Micheal Jackson's thriller sounds like a movie coming from the HW-S800D. I can go on & on, but to sum it up! Worth every penny! Great, fun listening experience ! O and the bass thumps also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Hearing Every Word—No More Closed Captions I’ve been extremely impressed with the Samsung S-Series Soundbar HW-S800D. The overall sound quality is excellent—clear, balanced, and immersive without being overwhelming. It’s also sleek and low-profile, so it fits nicely into the room without drawing too much attention. One thing that really stood out to me is how well it handles dialogue. As someone who is hearing impaired, I often rely on closed captions when watching TV or movies. With this soundbar, that’s changed. The voice clarity is outstanding—speech comes through crisp and distinct, even during scenes with background noise or music. I’ve found myself turning off captions more often because I can actually follow conversations comfortably. Setup was straightforward, and it integrated easily with my TV. I also appreciate that I don’t need a complicated multi-speaker setup to get a rich, full sound experience—this all-in-one design does a great job on its own. Overall, this soundbar has made a noticeable difference in how I experience TV and movies. If clear dialogue and ease of use are important to you—especially if you have any hearing challenges—I would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Slim Soundbar is extremely impressive! The Samsung Slim Soundbar really impacted noise on regrading to hearing. Vocal language is very hard to hear on shows and movies. I do praise Samsung for the woofer that the Slim Soundbar comes with, it really impacts movies with a BANG! For living in a town home area the Samsung Slim really fills up the room with its up firing speakers! If your wanting to get this soundbar, the Q-symphony experience also adds an amazing taste. It looks aesthetically pleasing in a medium sized living room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with purchase Sounds great, especially with new movies designed for this type of system. I also like playing Sonos off my phone. Watching football is much more fun. Commercials can be a bit loud though. Overall, it’s not a high fidelity system or sound capability but for generally improving your TV experience, it’s well worth the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really love this sound bar I've had a number of different soundbars over the years . Yet, this one has been my absolute favorite. Even with the main soundbar having such a small form-factor, it and its accompanying wireless bass combine to make some outstanding sound. The bass is surprisingly strong, too. And it you need to adjust how the sound bar sounds, this is easily accomplished using my cellphone. All in all, this has been a great purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound System Easy to set up and connect to many devices. I absolutely LOVE the wonderful sound that makes listening to music, watching movies and series the most amazing experience! The only thing that made me give 4 Stars is the sound is not the same at the back of the room, and I thought it'd be more expansive. Maybe the room is too big for this set up and I might need to upgrade, and add speaks in the back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for a buck. This very affordable model doesn't leave much else to be desired. I have this unit attached to a 70" du7200d screen, sitting just below. By default Q-SYMPHONY is always running, making everything viewed intense. But if you want to watch something focused on speach, you will have to run through the settings to fine tune. This is what dropped a star for me, as I prefer pictures over word in the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultra-Slim Marvel: Samsung HW-S800D Delivers Big, The Samsung HW-S800D (Ultra-Slim 3.1.2ch Soundbar w/ Wireless Dolby Atmos) defies its razor-thin 1.5-inch profile with impressive, immersive sound. True Dolby Atmos height effects and powerful wireless subwoofer deliver rich bass, clear dialogue, and cinematic depth. Easy setup, Q-Symphony compatibility, and streaming features shine, though music playback is solid but not audiophile-grade. A game-changer for space-conscious setups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Quality I’ve been really impressed with this soundbar so far. For how ultra-slim it is, the sound is surprisingly full and powerful. Dialogue comes through super clear, which has made a big difference when watching movies and shows, and the bass adds depth without being overwhelming—even without a bulky subwoofer taking up space. The Dolby Atmos feature really elevates the experience. You can actually feel the sound moving around the room, which makes action scenes and live performances way more immersive. Setup was quick and straightforward, and it blended seamlessly with my TV setup without drawing attention to itself. Overall, this soundbar is a great option if you want high-quality, immersive sound without sacrificing space or aesthetics. It feels like a premium upgrade that’s actually worth it.

The sound quality is absolutely incredible — the bass is deep, dialogue is crystal clear, and the Dolby Atmos feature brings a true cinematic experience right into my living room. It’s sleek, easy to set up, and connects wirelessly without any issues. I especially love how immersive the sound is when watching action scenes — it really feels like I'm in the middle of the action. This soundbar has definitely improved my daily routine by making my relaxation time after work even more enjoyable. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality, and performance in a slim way. I use the soundbar with pretty much everything I watch now. It's surprised me a couple of times with how well the sound (especially actions) comes through. It's slim enough to be put out of sight and plays like a surround sound system. It is very weak and feeble in the feel of it, like you have to be careful when moving it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did not work with my TV I wasted my whole weekend troubleshooting this soundbar because it did not produce sound when connected to my TV. I used a variety of different Micro HDMI cables, different TV settings, different TVs, and nothing worked. The arc connection was terrible. I was severely disappointed because the sound was so terrific, the bluetooth was working fine. I wanted to buy the surround speakers that were compatible too but no. Nothing was working. I ended up returning it and got something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound quality The S800D ZA speakers have been a great addition to my setup. The sound quality is impressive, with clear vocals, detailed audio, and strong bass that makes music, movies, and videos much more enjoyable. The speakers deliver a good balance without making the sound feel too harsh or distorted, even when the volume is increased. I especially like the overall design because it looks modern and fits nicely into my room without taking up too much space. The build quality also feels solid and gives the speakers a premium appearance. Setup was straightforward, and connecting them to my devices was simple and convenient. For movies and TV shows, the dialogue is easy to hear, while the bass adds more depth to action scenes and music. For everyday listening, the speakers provide a satisfying experience without needing complicated adjustments. Considering the price, I think the S800D ZA offers very good value. They are suitable for anyone looking for an affordable speaker setup that provides good sound, attractive design, and reliable everyday performance. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants to improve their audio experience without spending too much money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flawless !! Perfect soundbar!! The clarity is amazing. I am able to turn off subtitles on my TV and just listen to the dialogue without having subtitles to watch. When I upgraded my TV to a Samsung Frame, I decided to stay with Samsung for the soundbar rather than use my existing soundbar. The wireless feature works flawlessly and it's nice to have fewer wires to worry about and try and hide. The sound of such a low profile exceeds anything that I have used. Installation and setup was easy. I am very happy with this soundbar and my new Frame TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for home Pros ?Incredible Profile: At under 1.5 inches deep, it sits completely flush under a wall-mounted TV. It gives a ultra-clean, minimalist look without a bulky speaker box ruining the aesthetic. ?Customizable Aesthetics: Being able to swap out the magnetic skin/bezel (like the teak or white covers) makes it blend seamlessly into the decor, especially if you have a Samsung Frame TV. ?Crisp Dialogue: Despite its tiny drivers, speech and center-channel audio are clear. The Voice Enhance feature works well for dialogue-heavy shows and sports. ?Punchy Included Subwoofer: Because the bar itself can't produce low-end bass, the included wireless subwoofer does all the heavy lifting and adds solid rumble to movies. ?Cons ?Micro-HDMI Only: Uses a Micro-HDMI port instead of a standard full-size HDMI, which means you have to use their specific adapter cable. ?Average Music Performance: Great for movies and TV, but music playback can sound a bit thin or compressed at higher volumes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommendable The Samsung S800D is a highly-regarded, ultra-slim 3.1.2 channel soundbar known for delivering surprisingly immersive Dolby Atmos sound, clear dialogue, and punchy bass from a compact design, ideal for blending with modern TVs, though its music performance is good but not top-tier compared to larger systems, and some features require a compatible Samsung TV for best results. Reviewers praise its sleek looks, ease of setup, and cinematic experience, making it a great choice for space-conscious buyers prioritizing movie immersion over audiophile music fidelity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I’ve been using the Samsung S-Series audio system and it honestly sounds way better than I expected for its size. The sound is clean, full, and fills the room without needing to crank it up. Dialogue comes through clearly, and music has a nice depth without feeling muddy. It’s not over-the-top bass-heavy, but it feels balanced and easy to live with — the kind of sound that just works without messing with settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product exceeds other products at its price. The product connects to Bluetooth very quickly and hosts great sound quality. The bass is phenomenal and the audio fills rooms from corner to corner. When used for digital entertainment and movies, it perfectly replicates sounds to a realistic level and distinctly separates the highs from the lows. The mids are very powerful and the highs are sharp with rich lows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful balance of sight and sound Perfectly pairs with the Frame TV. This combination is a practically invisible sound source that brightens the frame tv image with sound that fills the room I found that the mounting was more of a challenge than the frame tv mounting. A template would be much appreciated to aid with level and spacing below the tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enhances Audio experience I never really thought a good sound system was important until I got this. Bass is powerful, voices are clear and even my family members who are older and hard of hearing can clearly hear what is being said. It functions seamlessly with the TV I have from Samsung and set up was very simple and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seamless easy to use Works well, connects well, sound quality is a bit tinnie and not real quick to readjust to different rock sounds but is good working with the tvs settings. Overall a good one for 12 x 12 rooms

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great sound in vey small package I use my Ultra Slim sound bar with my Frame TV. A perfect pairing. I purchased this model with Q-Symphony in mind. It set up easy and worked well…until one day no more Q-Symphony!! It stopped working and I could not reestablish the connection. Samsung help was very helpful, but ultimately determined my system needs repaired. Fortunately it was in warranty and everything was covered, including shipping. All I had to do was drop it off at a UPS store. They packed and shipped it. It has been almost a week since I sent it off for repairs, I received an email today that the service center replaced a board, and is sending back to me today. Honestly I am not happy about this failure, but I have to hand it to Samsung they have great help and service! It matches the great looking products. I hope that this will remain trouble free for years to come.
