I also use it for music listening as well. Only improvement i would suggest is wireless satellite speakers or longer cable cords.

Only negative is the instructions suck. They just don’t explain the process for pairing the back speakers with the main unit well. You’ll figure it out but not without some f bombs and a a YouTube video.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful sound, but the dialogue is out of synch I love the sound of this system. The dialogue is especially good. Music sounds awesome, almost theater-like. Biggest complaint is that the sound and video is out of sync, and I've tried following Samsung's directions to remedy and it's not working. Wish I could get some help. I'd give it 5's across the board if Samsung could get the voice/picture thing right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent speakers with few shortfalls In short these speakers provide value for money, clear sound and sound output. I have connected my TV and the speakers have improved overall viewing experience by improving the sound clarity. These speakers have multiple input options to connect and also provides built-in integration with Alexa. Now focus on it's weaknesses. It's not truly Wireless, rear speakers needs to connect with the wireless station via wire. This makes the setup a bit complicated and clumsy. System takes couple of seconds to connect with TV, it's annoying to wait for speakers to output the sound. It offers Bluetooth but it's highly unreliable and switched to hdmi to connect my TV. At times, it struggles to stay connected and need to switch input sources manually to connect back. Rear speakers are puny and sound output is barely audible in a large living room setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Like Concert and Theatrical Performance If you want concert and movie theater like sound, this is the soundbar for you. Did a lot of research before purchase. Considered true speaker system and was skeptical of "soundbars" as I had owned a Samsung 3.1 I got on sale, which was kinda meh. With speakers, what you are talking about is how structure affects sound tranmission. After a lot of reviews, research took the plunge and got this. Paired with a Samsung QN Class TV (have a bright room, so OLED was not a good choice). This system literally gave me and partner goosebumps when we listened to music at 1/3 volume. Things you will wanna know. 1. Set up was a breeze. 2. With Q-Symphony, incredible soundscape for film. 3. As someone hard of hearing, front channels and sound features are really thoughtful and easily customized. 4. Paired with TV like QN models with ATMOS, the 9.1.2 really becomes something more akin to an 11 channel system. 5. Was skeptical of wattage but at half power, it was riveting. 6. Audiophiles; some reviewers stated lack of more rich EQ is a downside. You could use receiver via HMDI-IN to tune. 7. Soundfit feature acclimated to unique Acoustics of our old home (plaster and drywall mix). Game changer at this price point. Downsides 1. More inputs! An extra HDMI/ eARC would have been nice. 2. Samsung really needs to extend power plugs in general (TVs too) 3. Would like to see better and longer term warranties. But I always do.

Every sound was crisp and clear, with music and surround effects coming through as if it was live. This was an excellent product and I already recommended my friends to purchase the same system for their homes (one of them also already bought one!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great soundbar, and goes well with a Q series tv. I purchased this soundbar specifically for it's ability to pair with a Q Series tv in order to have Qsymphony setup. While not fully necessary, the additional speakers do enhance the sound a bit. Some downsides are the rears lack upward firing speakers for Dolby Atmos. However, the sound bar is self is works well in our living room (13x20) space. The rear spearks would be the only downside to this setup, but it is much more costly to upgrade to the 930/990b setup which has the better speakers. Also, the UI on the sound bar itself is a bit lacking, and requires the Smart Things app in order to really see and configure the settings. Overall, a great value for what it is.

The front and side firing speakers fill the room with amazing sound. Dolby Atmos is great and one can really feel the sound in a Dolby Atmos movie. Watching Top Gun Maverick in 4K and Dolby Atmos was truly an experience. However, the experience with playing music on it is not that great. Look: Looks great. Sleek. The metallic grill certainly looks much better than the typical cloth fabric grill, and that adds to the build quality as well. Aesthetically pleasing. Build - very sturdy Rear (surround) Speakers: Unable to get the best of the rear speakers despite increasing the level. Understand that they don't have up-firing speakers, but they are not even powerful. Woofer: Not sure if I am something wrong, but it is not having desired impact - I did increase its level as well. Overall excellent experience, just a tad short of outstanding, wish the woofer & the rear speakers were as good as the center speakers...

My problem is with the subwoofer and rear speakers. You can hardly hear the rear speaker. The subwoofer sounds distorted. I have moved the subwoofer to different locations in the room, but it still rattles and is distorted. I purchased for the full surround sound experience. Disappointed that I'm not getting that experience.

I am pretty happy with how they worked together, which also made setting up the sound bar pretty easy. The TV basically detects the sound bar and start setting it on its own. I am pretty happy with the sound it produces as well.

I've owned the Q910B for about a month and it sounds great, especially with the soundbar top mounted with the up firing speakers closer to the ceiling. I was a bit dissapointed that the rear speakers did not have up-firing channels as claimed, nor could I find any compatible. I thought it strange considering "rear" and "top rear" channels were adjustable in the app. I then updated the firmware and the "top rear" channel option disappeared. It specifies 9.1.2 channel but also implies .4 surround is possible. My guess is the product originated as 9.1.4 but they changed their mind and forgot to correct it the marketing literature.

It has exceptional sound separation and clear dialog so you won’t miss a thing. One of my go to test movies "Godzilla King of Monsters" gave me chills like in the theater. The key to amazing sound immersion is not being distracted by too much or too little sound from all angles. Out of the box it sounded great. I made a few minor level adjustments to my desired taste using the SmartThings app. If you're an Audiophile and want to hear some music, come to life, play Dolby Atmos music on YouTube and delight in that sound produced. I'm a tech guy with a 9.2.4 full separates home theater and years of experience with pro audio. I can recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking for an immersive experience without a lot of hassle, the price mid to high side but it has a stylish look and solid components. I purchased this item at a discount for my honest opinion.

I’m not sure which settings are best and some I don’t even know. Overall pleased but biggest con is that the woofer comes in and out no matter what I’m watching? Not sure how to fix that.

However once I did finally manage to get it set up, I was quite impressed with the bass and sound that it produces. The rear speakers add an extra dynamic as well. Provides clear crisp sound and a great movie watching experience. Really like that I can sync my phone to it as well and listen to music through it using spotify or pandora if I'm not watching TV. To any looking for a good Home Theatre system that won't break the bank like Bose or others out there, I recommend this one.

Solid sound quality, very loud with great bass, connected via eARC to the soundbar and wireless sub and surround. The biggest problem I have is with the surround sound speakers. Heavy distortion which sounds like a metallic clicking noise. Checked the connections multiple times and determined they are solid. No reason these speakers should be making this sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great System w/ a Couple Minor, Fixable Downsides this whole surround sound system is fantastic. it connects quickly and easily and sounds amazing. the only downsides are that the system seems to stop working when everything connects for the first time and that the rear speakers are very soft by default. but, both of these are super easily remedied. do a factory restart of the system if it stops outputting audio and it will fix it, seemingly permanently. up the rear channel a few levels and it will fix the softness of the rear speakers. i'd recommend samsung look into fixing these issues by default for future iterations, but the system deserves five stars nonetheless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not support Alexa multi-room audio if you're like me, you're looking at this premium soundbar because it promises to integrate with smart home ecosystems like alexa. well, it does, but not very well. for whatever reason multi-room audio integration with the alexa ecosystem is not supported. it's a huge bummer, as the ability to play music throughout my home, in addition to having great sound for my tv was a primary driver for this purchase.

Surround sound that just put the icing on the cake. Iam so happy with these products from Samsung. It's like being in the hi-fi theater. The most clear and best sound from every where in the room. My bedroom is a 28×25 and can hear sounds from anywhere in the room. Like being in the movies. Highly recommend these two products..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great device, great sound That Samsung has great TV's is known, I did not yet know how good their soundbars are. I am really so satisfied with my soundbar. Not only is the installation super simple also for non technical customers, but also is the sound perfect to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this system I love this soundbar. It was easy to set up, it takes up very little space, and the sound is amazing. I have to admit that every once in awhile it kind of freaks me out when I am watching sports and I can hear voices from the surround sound coming from behind me. It almost feels like you are in the crowd the way that the sound engulfs you. It also has bass for movies that makes the floor shake. I love it.
