Well boy was I wrong! Not only does it keep up, it blows it out of the water! The Dolby surround sound coming from the soundbar along with the powerful bass from the sub gives you a real immersive movie theater-like quality. And the cherry on top is the clean look you have in your living room without all the speakers everywhere!

I had an older Samsung soundbar that worked great and still works great, we just moved it to the family room. The sound on the old one is great but on this knew one it is mind blowing,. You almost don't even need surround sound speakers but it's in my theatre room so I have them on order. My only problem with it is the alexa. It doesnt work even half as good as the echo dot. So much so we brought the original alexa back in. Everything g else is amaxing!

Movies now have a depth and immersion I never thought possible from a soundbar. Q900F places sounds with incredible precision. Dialogue is crystal clear, even during intense action sequences, thanks to the dedicated center channel. I no longer find myself constantly adjusting the volume to catch whispered lines. And the bass from the wireless subwoofer is deep and powerful, adding a visceral punch to explosions and music without being boomy or overwhelming. Beyond movies, music sounds fantastic – rich, detailed, and with a surprisingly wide soundstage for a single bar.

Was coming from a different premium brand that always had trouble syncing with my Samsung TV and Xbox, but as soon as I plugged this in that issue went away. The sound quality is great, and I think the rear speakers do a really good job of bringing the room together. I don't really have any complaints other than that I wish I had made the change sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest home theater systems for Samsung TVs I purchased the 900f for my new Samsung 65in OLED and my Samsung UST Projector and I'm glad I did as I was going to opt for a Stenhiessen System with a Macintosh 8k 11 channel A/V receiver for 10,000 more. I am just so very happy that I tried a Q symphony System before I made that mistake. Best sound with upmost clarity for such a low cost. I am sold as I already buy Samsung products exclusively except for my Sony a95 Bravia 77 inch for the formal guest room.

Ive had this system paired with a samsung 85" smart TV for alittle over a 6 months now, using the q-symphony sounds setting, flawlessly. No trouble setting it up, or pairing, found that the hdmi arc is superior to the optical due to volume controls, and sounds quality. Highly recommend all Samsung sound bars to all, generally for the smooth setup and application control interface when paired with wifi.

This is my first Soundbar and my first experience.I admit I wasn't looking for a soundbar because my TV QN90B already had good sound with 4.2.2 audio but this Soundbar and Subwoofer takes it to another level of immersion and superior sound.Even with some videos with 2.0 Channels it brings it to life which I didn't expect.Q-Series HW-Q900F 7.1.2 ch Soundbar and the included Subwoofer gives impact when needed to bring out the punch and bass during sound effects.I have tried the Q-Symphony feature which uses my TV speakers along with the Soundbar & Subwoofer and it does make a difference using the HDMI e-ARC cable that came with the Soundbar.Note Dolby Atmos only works with HDMI e-ARC not on Bluetooth sound output.The Samsung Tap feature is a new innovated feature that I also didn't expect.It allows you to connect your phone with just a Tap on the soundbar using the SmartThings app or you can click the Pair icon in the app.To unpair or remove,click on Bluetooth icon and then details in your phone.I turned Woofer(Bass) all the way up to +6,Treble +6.Bass and Voice Enhancement are both turned on.If you wish to lower the voice at night use Night mode,I have it off.Virtual only works via HDMI e-ARC not Bluetooth Sound output.I turned the Center CH for dialogue up.Space Fit Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro both on.I turned Audio Sync up to +50ms via app and it fixed a out of Sync issue I had via streaming.I got an error via the app on first setup,resetting the Soundbar fixed it.

For a small room it sounds awesome, more than enough, most of the times I use it for gaming and music and I have to put the volume level below 20 cause it sound really loud and rich without affect quality. It might be expensive but it worth it if you appreciate good sound.

Multiple times ive already had to unplug power for it to get back to working correctly. Frustrating when samsung is the only product I use, and that's all it hooked up to.

It had easy to operate buttons and the screen had enough brightness to see what you were controlling. The sound was balanced and I enjoyed the time I got to listen to music. Thank you for reading.

The Dolby Atmos support is no joke—it really does create a surround sound feel that fills the whole room. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or just streaming music, the sound is immersive and crisp. Dialogue is super clear, which was a big issue with my last system, and the wireless subwoofer adds some serious punch without being overwhelming. One of my favorite features is the Q-Symphony, which syncs the soundbar with my Samsung TV's speakers. I didn’t expect it to make a huge difference, but it actually enhances the soundstage and makes everything more dynamic. Setup was a breeze. The soundbar connected instantly to my TV via HDMI eARC, and the subwoofer paired on its own as soon as I plugged it in. I will say, if you want to dig into the more advanced sound settings, you might need to look up a few guides online, since the manual isn’t super detailed. A few things I wish were better: I’d love more options to fine-tune the sound profiles, and navigating some of the deeper features could be easier. But overall, those are minor gripes compared to the overall performance.

I would personally like to see some rear speakers to help give the true surround experience. The subwoofer produces a nice rumble but you need to all but MAX the SW volume. Interconnectivity is flawless with Samsung...over the years I've found myself missing features that allow seamless casting from device to device...it is all but perfect now. WARNING...for some reason someone made the remote and IR reader impossible to line up even on a good day. Go back to centering it so we are always pointing dead center!! If I pair this with some additional speakers I'm sure it would be 5 out of 5 stars.

I bought the soundbar to accompany my new 98" tv but what really sold me on it was the Q-symphony function which allows me to play the sound simultaneously with the tv. I've always til this point muted my television whenever using a surround sound system to eliminate the echo sound the tv & soundbars would give off together. Those days are over! Those days are -----! See what I did there?! Eliminated the echo! Watching sports & streaming tv series & movies are so much more immersive with sounds & I'll honestly never go back to how it always used to be. I didn't need this soundbar as I had already owned a surround sound system but after this purchase my realization couldn't of been any more wide eyed & my ears are now playing tricks on me with how crisp I hear the more subtle sounds we'd never notice before while watching TV. I'm still not use to all the head turning I do when I don't realize at 1st that it's the speaker in background & not something or someone in my home or outside my front door. I love this thing & it has me reacting to different noises the same way my daughter reacted to wearing 3D glasses for the 1st time at the movie theater looking to the side as if something were there. I find it super cool! Just saying! Football season can't start back up fast enough! I'm always excited now to watch anything nowadays with the sound being as big to me as my big screen. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute Game Changer!! This soundbar is more than what I ever could have wanted from Samsung. It's clear, loud, bass boosted, which is the most important part in my opinion. Not to mention it has the perfect amount of volume control and looks so sleek and lovely for my equally outstanding Samsung TV stand. I have always loved Samsung products and these haven't changed my mind at all :) Thank you so much!

I bought this a few months ago and have been fairly impressed with the full and balanced sound, I didn't initially want a full surround experience, but have recently wanted to try it out. I looked for the 990f surrounds on the site, but I see they don't intend on selling them separately.... why? Just upsell them if you care to sell the 990f system so much. But for me personally, I didn't want the 9500s surrounds, as the 900f system is literally the same soundbar and woofer as the 990f. PLEASE update the software of the 900f to support the 990 surrounds. As of Sept. 29 the 990f surrounds I bought from ebay are able to connect, but play sound out of the wrong channels. This rating is no reflective of the 900f system performance, rather the lack of software support and illogical upgrade routes that avoid the official surrounds from the 990. Some people will regret not getting surrounds after their return period, and they will want the ones that come with the 990, not the 9500s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound from this soundbar and subwoofer I have this soundbar in a covered room. Using the HDMI eARC from my TV enables power on/off using the TV remote. Setting up the treble/bass as well as top firing speakers( atmos feature works great). Adjusting the tone and volume is best set after many hours of critical listening, still making minor tweaks to the sub volume control but this time is well spent as it really highlights the effort Samsung Engineers gave to this design. Listening to this system is pure joy. The sound is crisp and clean, with great bass that truly thumps. I like to listen to my music loud and this system does not disappoint. I have adjusted the top firing speakers such that the audio seems like it comes from the center of my 75" TV. This combination makes watching Music videos like you are in a private concert hall. So very glad I purchased this Samsung soundbar and subwoofer. My only complaint is with the resolution of the volume control as I wish the designers would have allocated 2 more bits to the control for subtle volume adjustments. This is certainly not a deal breaker as this system is truly outstanding. Buy it, you will not be disappointed. I listened to perhaps a dozen or so soundbars before deciding on this Samsung system. The Q series soundbars really puts Samsung squarely on the map for must listen to for sound system. I was pleasantly surprised. Great job Samsung. BTW the side firing speakers do a good for insuring there is not a bad seat.

This one I did not even need to look at the directions it was all very intuitive and hooked up very quickly and easily both to subwoofer and the main unit. The remote control is very straightforward and the main unit tells you what levels you are setting for your Bass trouble etc

Great surround sound for every item that is being watched makes you feel like your live or in the event your watching gaming experience for sounds is great as well. Samsung has not just evolved in tv quality but in sound as well. Can't say enough about the sound quality every time I watch TV always have sound bar combo up in volume for the great surround sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blown Away! I upgraded from the Q67CT (with rear speakers) to the Q900F/ZA, and I’m seriously impressed. Even without the rear speakers, the sound is way more immersive and powerful. The bass is deep, the clarity is amazing, and it just fills the room. The Q-Symphony feature is one of my favorite things! It uses both the TV and soundbar speakers at the same time, and it makes a big difference. Everything sounds bigger and more detailed. Movies, shows, even regular TV just sound better. It’s a total upgrade in every way. Super happy with it!
