I assumed this would the the ideal connection but it's not. There's a delay between the device and the tv on start up that confuses the tv on every startup. The sound quality is pretty good for a sound bar. The surround sound stage is pretty adequate for the small space we have. The subwoofer adds enough punch to the lows without overwhelming it.

I especially love the sound and percussion it resonates when playing music or streaming music videos. The best for parties and gatherings. You can even use ot when you're public speaking in front of an audience the sound carries clearly over 7meters no one will have an excuse they missed or couldn't here your presentation

I really appreciate the ability to enjoy Dolby Atmos audio with the up firing speakers. The Q-Symphony lets me make use of the TV built in speakers which improves the sound stage experience. Being able to do all this wirelessly over wifi was great and made setup simple. Just plug it in - smart-things app told me it had arrived and then handled the whole configuration in just a few simple steps. I am pleased with the quality and value.

Adding this HW-Q800F was like turning on a bright light in a dimly lit room. After install and connecting the using the HDMI eARC between the TV and the sound bar, the TV recognized the sound bar and immediately knew to configure the Q Symphony feature. What a difference. Even though the new subwoofer is smaller this year the bass fills the room and is tight without being boomy. The sound stage is wide and crystal clear. I could now hear details in music content and speech like never before. The only thing I regret with purchasing this sound bar is that I didn't do it much sooner. I highly recommend this product for anyone who relishes a good home theater experience.

Our old $250 soundbar was fine, but it didn't deliver the immersive experience I was hoping for. This new one is a game-changer. We opted for the refurbished version, which was a smart move - it's indistinguishable from new, and we saved a significant amount of money. When watching Andor, the sound quality was incredible. During a camp scene, I could hear the subtle buzzing of bugs and felt like I was right there with the characters. The volume never needed to go above 40%, whereas our old soundbar was often maxed out. The subwoofer is phenomenal, filling the room with rich, ambient bass. Setup was a breeze, and we used the Bluetooth connection for a completely wireless experience (except for power cords). I'm so impressed that I wouldn't go back to my old soundbar. If you're considering a budget-friendly soundbar, I'd highly recommend this one. In fact, I'm replacing my old one with this fantastic new system!

Explosions, jets flying, alarms going off, and have always looked for the best picture and audio. I believe this device offers what I want, with some restrictions: A 7.1 (or 9.1!!) system would be much better, the price is a little high, if we compare it with other devices from other brands, with the same or even better features.

And it's thebest quality products atm in market. I have all electrical equipment are Samsung brands. Even i recently bought the phone and ultra galaxy Samsung. It delivers a truly immersive audio experience that far exceeds typical TV speakers. Setup is very simple — the soundbar and wireless subwoofer connect quickly, and the system is ready to go within minutes. The sound quality is impressive. Dialogues are crisp and easy to hear, even during loud or action-packed scenes. The surround effects are very convincing thanks to the 5.1.2 channels and Dolby Atmos support. Overhead and side effects feel real and make movies and shows much more engaging. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sounding product Im a big fan of sound especially from Samsung. Im a proud owner of a Samsung TV and multiple devices from latest phone to tablets. But regardless this sound system makes you feel like you're at a fine theater. The sound will blow you away from your seat or bed the rumble from the woofer and the side speakers are amazing. I've never had a set up like this. My kids love watching movies and have them experience a personal theater at home is the topping on the cake. Quality behind the product and manufacturing is at best hands down. Price isn't cheap but it's worth every penny trust me. Thanks to Samsung I have the opportunity to share my experience.

I have it paired with my Samsung 85” tv and it’s a great pairing!! I’d advise if you looking for something with a punch and surround sound. This is it.. great with gaming on the ps5 as well.

Okay, so let me tell you how this Q Series 5.1.2 Soundbar + Subwoofer almost had me calling 911 — not because something was wrong, but because I thought I was in the middle of the movie for real. I hit play, and BOOM… that subwoofer dropped the bass so clean and deep I had to pause and look around like, “Wait, was that in the movie or in my house?” The surround sound is crazy. I have all my speakers hidden and we were watching a car chase scene, and I swear I heard tires screech and a bottle had burst behind me. I ducked. My girl laughed, but I wasn’t taking chances — this thing is crispy, i mean THAT real. Movies, music, video games — doesn’t matter. This soundbar makes everything sound like a live experience. And the setup was too simple. No arguing with wires, no weird connections. I was done before I even finished my expresso martini! Bottom line: If you want your living room to feel like IMAX without the sticky floors, this is it. The Q Series doesn’t play fair… it wins.

I originally planned on getting the Q900 series, but after hearing it I realized that 800 series offered exactly what I was looking for, for less money. It doesn't have as much obviously, but I have vaulted ceilings in the room I'm using the new system in and it's not ideal for that many speakers and sound itself. So the Q800 was the chosen and not even a little regret. I can hear things I hadn't heard before with my Denon receiver and Klipsch speaker system. I am trying to make my living room look less crowded which is why I am changing my entertainment system there. I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. I can also hear the dialogue much better, which is good because I'm getting older and my hearing isn't as good anymore. If you really want a great sound bar system, with extremely clear vocals along with incredible audio for gaming, music and TV, you won't be disappointed in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unfriendly soundbar We purchased a new Samsung Q95F tv and Samsung HW-800F soundbar hoping to get better control over sound. Many reviews and "instructional videos" led us to believe we could increase the dialogue volume and tone down the background music and special effects. After 10 days, we are probably more frustrated than keeping our 10 year old tv. Several of the tv sound adjustment settings only work when using tv speakers only. the sound bar overrides or blocks the adaptive sound feature. We have been unable to selectively adjust the "center" channels of either the tv or soundbar to try and enhance the dialog. The tv has a 257 page User Guide, but the menus and sub-menus don't match what is on the tv screen. Settings "names" have been changed and moved, combined or other. We are unhappy with our purchase and unhappy that many reviews don't match up with the current software version. It is either overly complicated, or the advertising is just misleading. The super simply remote is less capable than one with lots of buttons.
