Lovethis phone!
I love how big the screen is and everything i can do! The cameras are awesome i can open numerous app in split screen mode, like 5 at a time! And it's flawless and easy to operate. if I were more tech savvy I could do so much more with the oper with the operating system and using all of the apps together more seamlessly mostly along with the camera the AI updates are top notch and very convenient and so helpful in everyday life. Battery lasts way longer than expected. The screen is more tough and durable than expected. I can turn on power mode and it lasts an additional 3-7 hours depending on my usage. I can turn down the screen brightness if I need to make the battery last even longer. Watching videos along with just reading articles are so helpful with my declining eyesight and the overall screen being dramatically larger. the function of it folding over twice amazing and it's not as bulky as I expected it to be but I do slim down for Samsung starts perfecting the trifold trifold function where where whereas the bifold was bigger to begin with and then it slimed down with the was bigger to begin with and then it slim down with the full seven is the smallest is ever been I think Samsung really perfected the bifold function of the fold seven and I'm excited to see what they have for the trifold in the future ! !

Not super durable but it is really cool!
This thing is really cool in like the way a gadget on a sci fi film or showing cool. Not super practical if you just want to call and text, but the features for anyone wanting to do anything. For a phone this thing is incredible and the things you can do with it are endless. If you have a big imagination and you want to try to.build something from a phone. This is definitely the device for that. Seriously endless things you can create and accomplish from this device. However, it is light, thin, and has a large internal screen. It doesn't matter what metal and glass this thing is made of, if you drp you4 phone often, itwn last long. That i can guarantee.

I like the phone's design combined with Samsungs OS and how seamless they work together as a foldable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the battery life. I expect a phone that promotes multitasking to be able to handle multiple apps running in the background most of the day

Great phone overall, lacking ability to warranty
Love this phone already. I used this phone to upgrade from a Galaxy Z Flip 7. I wanted the bigger screen to see things more clearly and I cannot complain. I do wish the sound was as loud as my flip 7 but its not deal breaker. My only real overall issue is that Samsung care will not allow you to get a warranty for this phone. With how much I paid for it this should be something we can buy. Especially because I cannot easily replace it at best buy or elsewhere.

I put my hands on it today at the Galleria Mall in Houston and it is very impressively thin and well made.. the 10" inch inner screen is bright and has vibrant colors.. photos do not do this tablet smartphone justice.. you need to use it in person.. even when its closed its not much bigger then my fold7 with the case on.. definitely a must buy but still out of stock..

Best phone I have purchased in a while. It is very expensive and hard to get so I understand that not everyone will be able to experience this but opening a regular phone to a 10 inch tablet is breath taking. Watching media and gaming on this device is next level. Only thing I worry about is durability but I have been babying it so far and no damage has occurred. If you are able to afford it and can find one available, id definitely recommend getting it.

Amazing and great phone/tablet hybrid
This is an amazing phone. I ordered it during the surprise special pre-sales sent out on January 29 instead of January 30 and I got it today. Its an amazing phone. Yes ,I do wish they sold it in 1Tb, but I am still happy.
It is very durable and functions amazingly well. The interface and battery already go along way. I will not be disappointed by this.
Yes , it is a bit thick but I get 3 bright panels and its is easy to hold whether fold or unfolded. If you can get your hands on one, really get it.
Please Samsung, offer it in 1Tb and accept trade-ins for this. Thank you.

A Near-10” Display That Still Feels Like a Phone
Samsung’s new trifold device is an impressive engineering achievement, offering a near-10" display in a form factor similar to the Fold series. It feels solid, refined, and durable, with excellent battery life, brightness, and outstanding speakers. While the software is polished, productivity could improve with more flexible panel-aware modes and keyboard layouts. Overall, it’s a confident first step into a new category that has the potential to replace both a phone and a tablet with future refinements.

Quite Possibly the Coolest Piece of Tech
In short, the best phone I've ever used. It's heavy, bulky, and I could not care less. I am coming from a Z Fold 5, which I absolutely loved! But the thinner (width) cover screen made it a chore at times to type on, and the inner screen, while extremely cool and fantastic, had a lot of wasted real estate for viewing purposes. Enter the Trifold. Only 50 or so grams heavier than my Fold 5 and the same thickness! Absolutely incredible. Android is as phenomenal as always, but there are some kinks with folding and unfolding with aspect ratios being goofy at times with applications. That said easy workaround, just close and reopen and you're back in business. With time I expect these software kinks to be ironed out but for a first run? I could not be more pleased software wise. Battery life coming from the Fold 5 is outstanding, lasts much longer for my use cases. Nearly double the charging speed as well is a massive plus. The camera leaves a bit to be desired but is still an improvement over the Fold 5. Would love to see flagship cameras on this but I understand R&D cycles on this more complex technology so at least for this first iteration I'll give it a pass. I do wish the carbon fiber case it came with had a kickstand, or that Samsung sold a kickstand case in the US at all, as I've had to go third party for that and there are definitely some shortcomings in those offerings but again, I suspect with time that'll sort itself out in regards to both Samsung's offerings as well as more 3rd party options. One issue I had was the device is so new that using an eSIM with my carrier day 1 wasn't possible as they did not have it in their system yet, and I read about other carriers having the same issue. I do wish Samsung had been in communication with all the major carriers to have that sort of thing ironed out before releasing it, but a physical SIM worked just fine and once again I know this will be ironed out shortly. The price is insanely high yes, but that's every first generation of tech. I still own a 1080p 55 inch first Gen OLED tv and at the time that price was egregious, much like this, but you absolutely get what you pay for, especially considering you just cannot get this mix of cutting edge tech and stable software anywhere else.
In short, if available and the price tag is feasible for you, I wouldn't consider any other phone. This is it.

Fold Into a New Era of Possibilities
I absolutely love this device. I have always enjoyed the Galaxy Fold product, so when I heard about this one, I had to make sure and get it the day it came out. I'm not going to lie,e this thing is amazing. The fact that I can go from a normal-sized phone screen to something that is the size of a tablet is astonishing! This thing is a powerhouse; everything runs so smoothly. I know I'll be able to take this on business trips and not even need to take out my work computer; this phone does it all. As far as the battery goes, I've been playing with it nonstop since I turned it on, and the battery has barely been affected. If you're not sure about getting one of these, don't be! I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do.

Samsung nailed it for the right user!
I use the Tri Fold primarily as an extended display with my MacBook Pro, and it’s been a game-changer. Writing Outlook emails, reviewing documents, and multitasking feels seamless and intuitive.
The connection is stable, the interface is effortless, and the folding design makes it far more versatile than a standard tablet or portable monitor. It doesn’t feel experimental - it feels finished. I would recommend for business/high travel users: A foldable keyboard (the Nillkin foldable w/mouse and number pad is an absolute must) and if you are pairing with a MacBook Pro at least a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable - dependent upon use. I have in multiple instances used this a small laptop that quite literally, device and accessory, in my pockets or backpack.
Samsung absolutely got this right.

Best Trifolding Phone on the Market!
This is the coolest foldable on the market! Samsung is already well known for their ever improving foldable phone technology. My first foldable was the Galaxy Fold 3 and it opened my mind to a world of new possibilities one can have with a Samsung Fold.
This new trifold is amazing. It folds differently from The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in that it is G shaped fold not a Z shape fold, which I prefer as it keeps my additional screens safe while I'm using it folded closed. The main display is a good size too, It's unfolded display is enormous, and the battery is the largest battery capacity at 5,600mAh with 45w charging. It has a very advanced processor the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, it has 16GB RAM and has two different storage sizes (512GB/1TB).
This new Samsung Galaxy Tri-fold is by far the best phone to come to market in a long time. I'd highly recommend checking it out!

Impressive First-Gen Trifold With Huge Potential
Samsung deserves real credit for this device. I’ve owned and used the Z Fold 5, 6, and 7, and the fact that this trifold still feels very similar in thickness, weight distribution, and overall hand feel to the Fold series is an impressive engineering achievement. Packing a near-10" display into a form factor that still seals and carries like a Fold 7 is honestly surprising. I also still own a Z Fold 7. Since trade-ins weren’t available for the trifold, it ended up becoming my backup phone, not the worst outcome, but Fold owners would definitely appreciate a smoother upgrade path in the future. In full tablet mode, the size is immersive and great for media, but it does feel just slightly tall for comfortable typing or long handheld use. A two-panel (two-thirds) mode would be ideal for everyday productivity, especially in public. The split keyboard works, but feels a bit awkward at full width — something that could be improved with more flexible layout options.
The software is stable and polished, but this form factor would really shine with more panel-aware modes (using one, two, or all three panels intentionally). Being able to choose left- or right-biased layouts or a two-panel productivity mode would make this an even better daily device.
The hinge and folding mechanism feel solid and clearly designed with longevity in mind. It doesn’t feel fragile, and the way it closes and seals feels very refined for a first-generation trifold.
Battery performance has been solid so far given the display size, and the screen brightness is excellent , usable indoors and outdoors without issue.
The speakers are outstanding. Loud, clear, and surprisingly full, easily among the best I’ve heard on a mobile device.
Overall, this feels like a confident first step into a new category. With a few refinements to software modes and ergonomics, this could genuinely replace both a phone and a tablet. I’m glad Samsung is pushing this forward and I’m excited to see where future generations go.

Amazing Displays
Amazing futuristic device. It is literally a 10 inch tablet that can fold into a phone and fit in your pocket. It is a bit heavier than previous folds which is to be expected as it has more tech packed in. The device feels premium and heavy which is a plus for me because you can feel the craftsmanship. Overall this is a solid beginning for Galaxy Trifold.

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold has finally arrived, and spot on—it feels like we’ve officially moved past the "experimental" phase of foldables into something that genuinely changes how we use a phone. The Ultimate Productivity Phone
I’ve been using the Galaxy Fold 7 for a bit now and honestly it’s hard to imagine going back to a regular phone. The biggest thing for me is productivity. It’s literally a phone and a tablet in one. If I want something compact, I use the outer screen. If I need to knock out emails, review documents, or multitask, I open it up and it turns into a mini tablet. Having that option on demand is a game changer.
The split screen functionality is fantastic. Being able to run multiple apps side by side without it feeling cramped makes it feel like a legit work device, not just a big phone.
The AI features are also seriously impressive. They feel light years ahead of the fruit-based competitor. A lot of it actually feels useful instead of gimmicky, which I appreciate.
Battery-wise, even though it’s not the biggest in the category, it easily gets me through a full day. I use it a lot and it doesn’t die on me. Overall, it just feels like the most versatile device I’ve owned.

Endless Features and Incredible Camera!
It took some getting used to for txting and things like that. The options to do things on this phone are absolutely endless! I dont even know where to begin about this camera! Mybrother has some $1300 nikon camera and I sent him some of my photos I took with this phone and he said he wouldnt be able to tell the difference on his photos from his Nikon and mine from my Samsung fold 6. By far one of the best phones ive had.

Overall great. Screen flicker and volume issues.
Only really serious con is that the screen flickers when it is fully open. Just the left hand side. Almost from the first week or two I had it. It does eventually load but much slower than the right side. I have small hands and it is just enough narrower than the s23 ultra so I can use it one-handed. That was the main selling point between upgrading to the s24 ultra or getting this. It's just as thin if not thinner than that phone when closed. I do find it difficult to use magnetic mounts because the magnet is situated just on one side and is it very strong so the whole phone tilts and spins when it's open and on any kind of a mag stand. The volume isn't great. I cannot hear it ring when it is in my purse. I can barely hear Gemini speaking even when the phone is right in front of me. Performance has been great otherwise. Processor is snappy. My other gripe is that the selfie camera could be a lot better. I'm pretty clumsy and I drop it a lot but all the screens have held up well. Some very slight nicks and scratches but everything is completely functional so I'm overall quite impressed with the durability. I'd definitely upgrade to the next one when it comes out. Also, I'm not really sure if this is a problem with the phone or something else but I was never able to get my Chrome bookmarks to synchronize. Even when uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome. I ended up not turning in my old phone even though I intended to because of that. I think the microphone or the software that interprets talk text could use a little bit of an improvement. I use Gemini daily and talk text and that experience could be a bit smoother. Biometrics and NFC chip reader are all really reliable and quick. The battery always lasts me the day unless I'm using Gemini.

Favourite phone ever
Most useful and amazing phone I have ever used. I've had it for 6 weeks now, and it is my daily driver. Interesting to see the review above that says that the screen cracked after 6 months. Too bad the phone has only been available for less than 6 weeks...
I have had zero issues with durability. The phone looks like new after 6 weeks of intensive use.
The ergonomics are great, much improved and use it a pop socket or handle to hold the phone when open.
I have experienced zero problems with battery life. It lasts me to the end of the day with heavy use.
Screen brightness is great on both outer and inner screens.

Great phone, typical battery life
Great phone with multiple uses. As per a typical smart phone the battery life dies over time.
