Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I waited Have wanted a flip or fold phone when they 1st came out but never really felt comfortable with the previous 6 generations of these devices. The FOLD 7 totally changed my mind it looks and feels like what a phone should be (congrats Samsung) if you havent checked out the Z fold 7 you dont know what your missing have had this phone since Thanksgiving and besides the normal waiting for updates to fix a few glitches this phone is a Beast highly recommend if you been on the fence before check this version out and decide if it's rightfor you. Nothing I write will persuade you to making your decision all I will say I feel I made the right choice for myself and my wants and needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone - It doesn't feel heavy despite being a foldable. - Doesn't get hot when you run games. - Both screens have good brightness color accuracy and fast refresh rate. - I like the back end cameras but I miss the better optical zoom compared to the ultra. - The speakers are nice and are loud enough for me. - The wireless charging coil on the back should have been a little lower, some charging pads have trouble because of the camera bump. It works well if you buy a mag safe compatible cover and charger combo. - The wobbling because of the camera bump is an issue but it can be managed by a good cover. I have the Nillkin Iceblade CamProp. - The RAM, CPU and GPU are fast enough to run the graphically demanding games I like to play like Genshin Impact. - I find the battery life sufficient for my workflows, but I wish they could support faster charging speeds. Great phone overall, I love it !!!

Its slimmer, so it fits nicely in my jean or stretch pant pockets. The camera is great!! and it's easy to take group photos with my Galaxy ring. I only wish that it had an Spen. I kind of miss it. This phone is a beautiful multi-tasking powerhouse, and like any other Samsung phone I've had, it just feels good in my hand when hold it ?? I would recommend upgrading from any phone to a Z Fold 7. Its the best thing out there right now. Makes me want to upgrade everything in my life to match the caliber of this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice upgrade...but needs camera moved. 4.5 stars actually... Hats off to Samsung on the redesign...love the thinness, weight reduction and wide profile. So far so good. Battery life is yet to be determined.. but so far I have no gripes with the battery...if it's not worse than the Z Fold 6, I'll be happy (heard more efficient than ZF6). My only gripe is the inner main display camera size and placement... no UDC.. Which I can live with no UDC, but needs to be moved over to the far right edge like the new pixel 10 pro fold, would be less distracting. Stylus support...hmmmm..that's sujective to the individual like anything else... for me I can use my finger or try a soft stylus tip to jot notes...thankfully we still have Samsung notes. I don't use the stylus enough, would rather have a light phone and be thin. Now with that being said, I dont want to see the phone go any thinner, It feels fragile enough and dont like paying more for less feautures (stylus)... Haptics feel good (vibe motor)..was actually worried it would be faint. For me thats a premium must on a expensive phone. Good feed back, don't want it to feel like a motorola or $200 phone everytime i type or press a button. Love the Silver shadow color also...bring it back again next year. Bottom line..Keep up the good work Samsung. Love the phone.

The "con" to the fold5 was that after 2 years, there was a bubble in the middle of the screen. The Fold7 has been upgraded with a slimer case and no bubble in the middle of the fold screen.

I was delayed in unpacking the phone due to the holidays, by the time I learned that this tiny dot was an issue with the pixel I was out side the return windows by a couple of days. Samsung has not agreed to take it back, they transferred my call to a 3rd party repair center. A new phone should be flawless upon receipt. I could understand if I had purchased an open box, or a refurbished phone, but i purchased a new expensive phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lack of competition kills innovation The out screen is much more usable however I believe that it should be as large as the S25 ultra or I will always feel like a down grade when using also that camera bump on just one side makes it feel like a rocking chair when laying flat. Did anyone test that phone prior to putting it on the market or because of the lack of competition in North America? There is no beauty in the design it is not stunning. The blue is so dull. Lack of competition makes a company lazy. Have you seen the phone that are available in China? We are being abused here in the west.

My only gripe with the Fold 7 is that the battery life and charging speeds need improvement, as they have remained the unchanged for the past several years/models. I would gladly sacrifice some weight and thinness for an improved battery life and performance.

Worth the upgrade – best Fold yet I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 7 for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly the best foldable Samsung has made so far. I was coming from an older Fold model, and the improvements are noticeable right away. The phone feels much lighter and slimmer in hand, which makes a big difference for daily use. The hinge feels solid, and opening/closing the phone is smooth. The inner screen is amazing for multitasking, watching videos, and reading — once you get used to it, it’s hard to go back to a regular phone. The crease is still there if you look for it, but it doesn’t bother me at all during normal use. Performance has been excellent. Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and I haven’t noticed any lag even with multiple apps open at once. Battery life has been decent for a foldable — it easily gets me through a full day with mixed use. The camera takes great photos, especially in good lighting. It’s not a huge leap over recent Samsung flagships, but it’s more than good enough for everyday photos and videos. The only downsides are the high price and charging speed, which could be faster. That said, if you’re buying a foldable, you probably already expect to pay more. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. If you’re on the fence about foldable phones or upgrading from an older Fold, the Z Fold 7 feels polished, powerful, and ready for everyday use. Highly recommend.
