And im on it constantly and I used it for everything... as a drive a hyundai the smart key goes hand and hand with the phone. The camera is great, and so,is the display... things just work and that why I came back to samsung from Google . Would recommend a good case though, it is pricey even with a trade in. But I love it truly.

Only a few changes I would make which is the battery size and match the entire camera lineup on the ultra phones. At this price compared to its Chinese competition the entire camera system should match its ultra phones and battery capacity should be larger. With that said, android 16 combined with one UI is also unmatched by any other OEM. Anyone getting this device will not be disappointed.

Laggy just browsing on chrome, the front is still too narrow to type and the horrible spell check on Samsung keyboard means I'm Laggy everything I attempt to type over and over again. Inside screen resolution makes all apps look comically ridiculous trying to torn into a square when it's meant for a rectangle. Just a mid, damaging taking advantage of us kind of phone. Gone the serving the s26 ultra drops. Also front screen still too narrow to be useful for a man with man hands. Stop telling Samsung this is a great phone or this is the mid level stuff they'll keep selling us waiting for some other company to innovate. *costs 44.99 to return

It took samsung almost a full month and countless calls to customer service to finally get it replaced. I was on the phone for hours speaking with supposed supervisors and managers. If it doesn't break, the phone is awesome. But if it does, good luck! I was out of a phone until they gout around to having it replaced. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Its annoying as it will not move laying flat. I called support they gave me an email text how to fix it. I don't know all that talk that's the complaint I have. Its pretty big I would think. Also my stelo sensor they are not even updated to this version of android so I lost money since stelo or any dexacom is not compatible with this phone. Watch that if you have those products.

From what I’ve seen, there are really only two major issues people bring up: the lack of S Pen support and the fact that Samsung used the same battery as last year’s model. Most of the other reviews don’t even relate to the phone itself. I can understand the frustration around the S Pen—it would’ve been nice if the phone supported it, especially at this price point. But personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal. If you really need one, you can always use an aftermarket pen. Now, as far as the battery goes, yes, they should’ve upgraded it. But to be honest, the performance is still impressive. I streamed for about eight hours straight with the phone fully unfolded and still had around 40% battery left before plugging it in. That’s better than what I’ve seen from my eye phon. The 120Hz refresh rate is smooth, the speaker quality is great for such a thin device, and the phone feels surprisingly durable for a foldable. One thing I appreciate is that they removed the under-display camera. You don’t even notice a camera hole now, and you get slightly better image quality in return. All in all, I’m really happy with the phone. I think anyone spending more than $400 should definitely get insurance, especially with a foldable screen. If anything happens, having that coverage makes replacing or repairing it way easier.

I traded my z fold 6 but after 2 days of use, the internal display has 2 horizontal lines and display is broken. I liked it but will return and keep my 6 in which I think is more durable. I never dropped the phone

The fold in the unfolded screen is almost not there. It is very fast and the charge lasts more than all say. The cameras are fantastic and better than the past Folds.

Not even my old pens for my other Z Folds will work I purchased my other Z Folds so I could take notes at meetings when electronic recordings were not allowed. So now there is no longer a need to but a Z Fold ever again!

The build quality is phenomenal paired with the slimmer size. People will legitimately be shocked that it's the new fold. Snappy interface and processing power. Camera is also excellent. Beautiful displays and the phone is surprisingly awesome to use in the folded mode as well. First day I found myself forgetting I could unfold it! TO EVERYONE FREAKING OUT OVER THE DARN S-PEN: It's not that big of a deal when you can still use a normal stylus to type, draw, or what I do, day trading. I bought a 10 pack of fine point styluses for 5.99 on Amazon. They work great. The Bad: Samsung did not give me all my discounts stated on the advertisement. Samsung did not send a box to send in my trade in device. Samsungs 18$ screen protectors, both in my box, have huge scrapes in identical spots on both protectors. It's perfectly in the middle halfway downn the small screen and won't buff out. My wife wondered if it was already used on a flip 7... which it oddly looks like tbh. Will request new ones be sent out. I'm also returning the Samsung case with the backstrap. Horrible case that's ridiculously overpriced. Spigen has 3 full coverage options. I went with their "strongest" one and it's incredible fornthe price. Aside from peripherals I'm disappointed in the battery life. Lasts like 8 hours. Also was outside for like 5 min watching YouTube and charting on Tradingview when it shut off YouTube and said "multi-windows unavailable dur to overheating". Literally can't use the big screen in the sun will make me return this if that's the case. I may have gotten one with a bad battery. I don't like that they hide developer mode. I don't like that my big screen apps don't transfer to the front screen when I fold it. I don't like that you have to enable all ram to get full power. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE PLACEMENT OF THE SELFIE CAM ON THE BIG SCREEN. IT IS IN THE WAY ON EVERY FULLSCREEN APP. Figure that out for the next gen and give us an option for an aftermarket Bluetooth stylus pen.

The battery life is extremely poor compared to most other upper tier phones. I have an S24 Ultra, and I can go 2 full days with that phone with light - moderate use before I really need to start looking for a charger. This fold 7 can't even go one full day. The lack of spen support is a MAJOR set back. I pre-ordered this phone assuming it was going to have an spen like the Fold 6. Knowing that I'd have to settle for it being in the case rather than conveniently stored in the phone like the Ultra. But to find out after getting the phone that they removed spen support.... seriously what where you thinking Samsung? Such an absolutely terrible move. Especially with the cost of this device, and you are removing features? I don't care if the phone needed to be a little thicker. Making the "thinnest foldable" just to say you have the thinnest foldable without taking into account the feature set is just absurd. Speaking of the thinness, it is in fact too thin. I don't even have that big of hands but it is so thin that it is difficult to hold in a way that you are not touching the screen or feeling like you are going to drop it easily. The power button is a pain to press at times. For whatever reason they decided to make it almost flush with the side of the phone rather than protruding a bit like the volume buttons. Making it weird to press a lot of times. The aspect ratio on the internal screen is pretty meh as well. About the only content that really takes advantage of an almost square screen is reading. Videos are going to have huge black bars in whatever orientation you are in. And the result is often actually a smaller video than what I had full screen on my S24 Ultra. The speakers are also a huge step down from the S24 Ultra. The volume is fine, but the quality is pretty terrible. Anything above 50% volume sounds like a mess. The camera is yet another area that is a downgrade. Even though this Fold 7 is supposed to have a 200 Megapixel camera, the quality is worse. It also has the zoom limited to 30x. All in all, this phone is a definite downgrade from the S24 Ultra, much less an S25. Yet it costs over 50% more that the S24 / S25. That is crazy. I love the idea of a foldable phone to be able to have the bigger screen when consuming content that makes use of it. But sadly Samsung is going in the wrong direction in almost every category. All so that they could make something thinner.

I have owned 4 fold iterations beginning with the Fold 3 and in that time span, the advancement and refinement of supported features, software also hardware are incredible. Last year with the Fold 6, I had a feeling that things were about to change drastically. As soon as I held this Fold 7 in my hands, I realized that this device is what I was craving all this time. I've gotten used to many features this device offers, multi window, edge panel (all the way back to the Galaxy S 7 Edge), camera with hand wave activation, some AI features, Good Lock for customization, etc. This I love: how thin this device is, the display is incredible, the camera? Holy moly! The outside display? Welcome back bigger screen without unfolding! Cons? There's gotta be some right? The S pen? Nah, I bought it with my Fold 3 and barely used it. Mainly because the phone didn't have a place for it, otherwise I think I would've gotten used to give it more time. Since that was not the case, I do not miss it. The under the display camera feels like a step backwards on asthetics only. I am getting used to seeing it again after it being gone for a couple of years. Now that the display has gotten even bigger when opened, I think users with smaller hands might actually dislike that (my spouse is on the Flip boat for that reason alone) These are my takes on a day to day use of the phone. I don't get too deep into anything else because I'm trying to keep basic for what we truly use the phone for.

It's fast, doesn't feel like a brick in your hand and feels super sturdy! And after years I finally have a phone sized phone again (when closed) and not a TV remote. I also got a cheap but accurate stylus that makes up for the lack of spen honestly (just not air commands). I can definitely see my self keeping my new 7 until the next big form factor change!!

I was hoping for all this and that is exactly what the Samsung Zfold7 IS. It is the smoothest foldout double the screen size w.OUT the big black interruption in the middle of the fold. Its just about the same size as the S25 folded. It's so thin when it is unfolded. Phone feels solid built. The only thing I didn't like was when Tubing n I hit the full screen mode, I have to turn my phone's rotation. My boyfriend gifted me the best folding phone yet !!!

I can say that the few concerns I had with this concept are resolved. I love this phone in every way. I wasn't ever much of an S pen user even w my s22 ultra before, so I'm good with the sacrifice that had to be made to make it better. Its thinner of course, better typing on front screen. No more fat finger texts, battery life is still great, OS is very smooth. ETC....I got mine on preorder at a great price. Thanks for keeping the price okay enough. Well done samsung, well done!!

Also, the sound when listening to music is not as good as on my S25 Ultra. Some apps are not optimized, specifically Facebook and Instagram. I hope they improve the telephoto on the Z Fold and S Ultra, and the battery life and larger exterior screen of the Z Fold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why Samsung This phone would have been great but after upgrading from my Fold 4 I expected all the same features my Fold 4 has would be on the Fold 7 just faster, sleeker, better camera, the normal model upgrades. However, Samsungs decision not only to not include a S Pen, but to not even include S Pen or stylus functionality renders the fold useless. What is the draw of the larger screen, videos yes, other than that it is productivity, I used the split screen function countless times with my Fold 4, taking notes, pulling other screens in multitasking was the almost perfect on the my Fold. It makes little sense to have the Galaxy 24 with a S Pen, and not the large screen Z Fold 7. I will now have to find a different device maybe the pixel fold.

I couldn't say enough positive things about it. I'm still learning how to use it, especially with Android 16. The AI is pretty cool as well! One drawback: the fingerprint scanner is in the power button. I have not been able to find a case that doesn't block it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Beyond anything I expected. This phone blows me away. I've the the 2,3,4,5 and 6. All great phones but Samsung nailed this one. It's light, thin and super premium. The bigger screen is a game changer. The most impressive thing has been the speed. This thing moves a light speed. I really can't see where they go from here. If it was any thinner the usb-c cable wouldn't fit. I have yet to find any flaws with the device. My only gripe is with Samsung service and support. Their tech is 5 years ahead of Apple but their customer service is weak at best. The conversion is better than it was but still very difficult and time consuming to transfer data to the new device. It took me several agonizing hours to make everything perfect. It's still the perfect companion!

I really like what Samsung did when they designed this phone because now you don't really feel obligated to open the phone all the time. You got a perfectly size cover display that will be everyday all day main use case display. But you know, you have an 8-in display that can offer you everything that cover display won't even though you get a mediocre small battery. The way Samsung has implemented their UI skin on top of Android has really made it so efficient that you can actually pull a full day out of the phone depending on the person you are and what your use case scenario is the only thing I did find disappointing but it wasn't a factor when I upgraded from my previous device was the lack of S-Pen because if you're the kind of person that spent time on pen up And did a lot of artwork you share with the community. You really got to think if it's the right device for you or not. Besides that the device is finally the way most of us wanted thin Light that you don't even notice the weight of the device and you are finally getting that 200 megapixel camera from their flagship phone. Also, one of the greatest things any foldable offers you is the multitasking and in my opinion. No one does it better than Samsung from watching YouTube to answering comments at the bottom or having a social media app while watching the video on YouTube. The possibilities are endless and the Z fold seven will not disappoint you it's a device I myself recommend and if you really want it go for it. Samsung always has great deals to trade in an old one for This Magnificent device. You won't be disappointed.

Because the phone is new, no one will warranty it because they don't don't how to work on it. Parts are nation wide back order. Samsung will want you to send it im mail it in and you will be left left with out a phone.

Put in for Samsung warranty and they denied me besides the tech telling me he's seen several with the same issue and same marks on the inner display. Battery is also disappointing, as it barely last all day and that's with me not being a heavy user. Phone is thin though, not that it matters now that they don't stand behind their products. I'll never buy a Samsung product again, as they are leaving me with a two thousand dollar paper weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If I were you, I would consider the Pixel It's decent but the camera quality is worse than my previous note24u, and now the competition has better cameras. The paint or coating color or whatever it is on the phone next to my power button has peeled off a bit, which has never happened before on any phone I've ever had. If you're a gamer, YOU WILL perform worse playing fast paced strategy games because the inner screen is too tall and un ergonomic and tbe outer screen is too narrow compared to a s24u that had a good width to it for games and fitting in the hand. Have to charge 2-3 times a day as a heavy user, the display is less crisp than my previous phone which is ok to deal with but the inner screen attracts gunk way differently than a typical glass screen for some reason, making it much dirtier more often and needing to be cleaned. Durability is a I'm not sure, i really have to baby this device and be extremely careful because Samsung cancelled my Care+ device insurance after I payed for the order and won't reinstate it. And even if im careful, its not dust resistant, and dust is literally everywhere and it accumulates so I would imagine its going to eventually fail which i was ok with happening since I got insurance, except they removed it from my phone without compensation. Its part of the reason for this rating and its impossible to not pair that with this phone because its a part of the phone experience. If you primarily only want a foldable for dual app using or business, you'll overlook a lot of problems, but also again, if you're only wanting the foldable for dual app use or business, you have other foldable options to pick from and you could potentially avoid a nightmare situation where Samsung cancels your insurance due to a system error on their part, which means you can worry less about any future headaches if you need a wider phone screen for work. Plus the Pixel is more durable. I'm already sunk cost into this, you don't have to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy zfold7 Got on release day, the phone lasted 2 months. I was using the inner display then closed it reopened it a minute later and half the screen wasn't working. After opening and closing it a couple times it stopped working altogether. Sent it in for repair thinking it was covered under the 1 yr warranty and they denied it saying it was physical damage. It is the last samsung product I will ever own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgraded The battery lasts way longer than my previous phone which is mainly why I upgraded to this phone. But I love how thin the phone is, I'd say the only downside is how far the three cameras stick out but that can be fixed which a case and then you won't even notice it. I used the liquid glass screen protector and I'm not sure about it yet so here's hoping it actually works. I went from an s24 to this phone. Its a big leap. But this phone is way better. Its worth the money. Its faster, stronger and I even saw a video of someone trying to break one on purpose and the screen didn't Crack when he bent the phone backwards which was what really sold me. Clearly this phone is strong. .

The camera takes stunning photos, and the battery life is just phenomenal. Plus, the speed and responsiveness are top-notch, making everything super smooth. I can't imagine going back to anything else after this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No s pen Bad bad bad. No S pen. S pen only worked on the 6 when the unit was unfolded. Hoped that could use s pen when closed. Really hoped would fix on the 7 but instead they ditched the s pen entirely. I have to work with gloves on all the time so no s pen makes totally unusable. Come on Samsung!
