Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stick with the Fold 6 Samsung missed the mark Same old, but worse. Who takes away functionality? I cannot believe they took away the S Pen. I never would have “upgraded “ from my perfectly working fold 6 to lose the one feature I relied upon DAILY. I’m an attorney so I buy this model specifically for the screen size and S pen. Major disappointment. Third party pens just do not cut it.

Having owned both the Fold 4 and Fold 6, I can honestly say this upgrade feels like a huge leap forward. The trade-in value was exceptional, which made upgrading even more worthwhile. And now that I have it in my hands, I can’t put it down. The technology is incredible: • The anti-glare display is unlike anything else on the market truly a gift that keeps giving. • The multi-window function works effortlessly with just a swipe, making multitasking smooth and natural. • The lightweight design paired with its portability makes it a dream to travel with. No other phone comes close to its features and capabilities, especially when it comes to camera quality. I previously owned the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and really enjoyed it, and while the Fold 6 didn’t feel like much of an upgrade, the Fold 7 has far exceeded my expectations. The display is sharp and vibrant, the sound is rich and clear, and the camera resolution is unmatched by any phone I’ve used. I don’t even bring my Galaxy tablet with me anymore—the Fold 7 handles it all. This phone is truly phenomenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Fold Yet Overall, this is a huge leap forward for the Fold series. The Fold 7 is ergonomic and well proportioned now. Gone is the skinny and unoptimized front screen, it now resembles and functions as well as a bar phone. Then, once you open it up, you have a mini tablet, and many apps are now optimized better to function better on it. The part that is lacking and the reasoning for taking a star off is for a couple reasons. One, the battery is unchanged in capacity from the Fold 6, and the phone barely lasts until after dinner. Not reassuring if you’re taking it on the go for the day, especially if you are using it in tablet form moreso. The second problem is the fingerprint scanner location and functionality. It sometimes works, if you can properly find it. Overall, a well designed device with a lot of pluses from prior models and updates, but also with some missed opportunities for upgrades.

Getting rid of the s pen makes sense as they've tried with the z fold 6 but ive seen more accuracy with my finger. Better off getting a tab with an s pen if you want that functionality or get an ultra. The thinner profile and wider screen are a necessity. I dont understand why people review bombed the other models. Samsung has one of the best trade in programs ive seen (thankful for that). Being a power user and having more space to multitask is amazing on this phone. I dont care about the battery size not being increased since it doesnt make a difference. My fold 6 lasted all day and this should be able to do the same. Id rather not have a brick in my pocket. If you like the phone, buy it. If you dont, look for another foldable or get a renewed z fold thats to your liking. The fact that folding phones have come all this way is incredible and this phone with the balance of its features plus the OS optimization cant be beat by any competitors.

You should have made another model for it for those that care more about thinness vs having a very functional tool for the tablet size. Most of initial fold owner im sure were note users. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied with phone but not CS I like my Samsung Zfold 7, however, I havebto search for how to do things on it. Such as, I looked pretty stupid trying to scan a QR code. Thinking that the camera would automatically catch this. Somehow there are settings in the camera that you must activate to have this done, which I still can't figure out bc when I found the setting I was unable to turn it on bc it says it can't be used in the current mode...what mode??? Also, when I paid to have my phone overnights it took way longer!! I called Samsung and was told the would credit me back. It has been over a month and I still don't see my credit!! Needless to say, their customer service may sound like they care but they aren't doing their job as well as you would think, as much as this phone cost....way too much!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good. It's cool. A couple apps don't like the dpi changes. But most apps work fine. When the fold is open Facebook market place stutters and does not scroll correctly. When the phone is closed it works fine. Great for multitasking and consuming content. I always had notes for my phone and then they changed the name to ultra. This is my first phone that's not a note/ultra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy fold 7 review As expected, God Samsung! The satisfaction is top-notch, and I think their technology is so good it feels like they beat it out of aliens. It’s the most complete device in every aspect, but it’s a bit disappointing that it doesn’t have the S Pen.
