The worst z fold ever
The worst z fold ever seen. I used to use z fold 3 and decided to change to 4 and now I'm using in for my business which i open and close it more than normal, the screen you can tell gets bended and looks like is gonna crack. Battery life is horrible and i have to charge it 2 time a day. Not Worth it, And NOT RECOMMENDED

I traded in my note 20 ultra for this and regret it. The front of the phone (screen when closed) is too small, and it's inconvenient to have to open it every time to have a bigger screen. When I use it in tablet form, social media apps do not look right on the screen. The battery drains faster. The talk to text feature does not work. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because it does work as a phone. I've had the phone 2 months, but Verizon only has a 30 day return/exchange policy so I'm stuck with it.

Many more pluses than minuses.
I know phones. I've had at least 60 going back to the 90's. I usually keep them a year or less before replacing them. So, I think I'm qualified to express an opinion.
My last two phones were an S21 Ultra and an S22 Ultra. Nice phones, but boring. When Samsung offered a $1000 credit toward the Z Fold 4, I went for it, even though I was concerned the phone would be too bulky and too heavy.
Here's what I like- First, the aforementioned form factor. The phone is very very easy to handle when folded and swipe typing is easy and efficient. Yes, the phone is a wee bit heavy, but I am very comfortable with the size and dimensions. I don't feel like I'm carrying two phones in my pocket at the same time. I love the narrowness of the phone. It fits into my hand beautifully. The processing power is more than adequate. There have been no hiccups or stuttering. The battery has been lasting throughout the day and into the evening with about 30-40% charge left. That's good considering it is a 5G phone. If I was able to connect to 4G, like I did on my S22 Ultra, it would be even better, but Verizon does not allow that. The display screen is simply beautiful and videos look lively and sharp. When unfolded, the seam is not distracting. If you want a foldable phone, you'll have a seam. Period. Fortunately, Samsung has done a nice job concealing it as much as possible. I really like the fingerprint reader on the on-off switch instead of under the glass. It works fast and consistently. On my S21 and S22, the under-glass reader was erratic. I read some reviews that said typing on the outside screen was difficult with two thumbs. Maybe so, but I discovered that typing with a swiping motion was easy and with fewer errors than I expected. The camera is fine. If I showed you a photo taken on a three-year-old phone and one taken on the Fold 4, could you really tell the difference? I don't think so. This is the least important factor for me since I use a digital Nikon for serious photography.
Here's what I don't like- There is no S Pen use on the cover screen. This is a major disappointment since I love the S Pen. The phone is slippery. A case is absolutely necessary or you run the risk of dropping this very expensive device. I'm sorry there is not a slot for a micro-SD card. That extra storage is inexpensive and would come in handy since this phone also works as a tablet with stored videos.
I highly recommend this phone. I’m very happy with my Z Fold 4. It’s not the least bit boring!

The best mobile experience in recent years
I bought this phone about a month ago and he's the best experience I've had with a phone in a long long time. It is enabled me to do so much when it comes to productivity and as absolutely blown away any other competitor's phones. The integration with Google and with Windows PCs is unmatched. The fact that I can unfold the phone gets way too much attention sometimes but that's a welcome side effect.

Solid build quality, much better software experien
It's been 3 months since originally received my zfold device and it's been great. I was hesitant to make a switch to this device due to the folding mechanism; however, I've had no issues at all, the build quality has been very good, and samsung UI is way better compared to the old ui interface. Much faster updates, and very responsive.

I bought my phone a week ago and so far I love it. So far the only thing I can complain about Is how difficuIt it is to write with the S Pen. You would think with the screen being bigger it would make things easier but all it.does is let your hand get in your way. Overall I give it 4 stars.

One month and really enjoying my phone. I haven't been using my tablet since the phone is pretty much a 2 in 1. I am very impressed with the outside and inside screen. If you are worries about the crease, it disappears as you watch your favorite movies and shows. The multitasking is amazing and the outside screen is just the right size for one hand use. It is a must buy.

I upgraded from an iPhone 13 pro max. Safe to say I'm never going back to Apple phones. Once you get the convenience of a phone and a tablet you'll be spoiled. The fold 4's cameras is also great and sharp!

Much snappier, Better cover screen, overall GREAT!
I traded in my ZFold3 with the ZFold4 (Unlocked). It had no issues being recognized by my carrier, T-Mobile. I find ZF4 to be much snappier, faster, overall more responsive than my ZF3 most likely due to the upgraded processor. The battery life is bounds better than the ZF3. I often am on my phone for many hours during the day, muti-tasking between web browsing, watching videos, doing cloud-based work, and I find the ZF4 lasts at least 3 -4 hours longer than ZF3. If you're a poweruser/multitasker and use your phone often, the ZF3 to ZF4 upgrade is well worth it.

this phone is the best i have ever had, i was so worried it would be hard to use due to it being a fold phone but it has been so easy to get use to. i will never go back to a reg phone again. the screen is beautiful and when i dont need the tablet i just use the smaller screen which is big enough to do all i do on big screen just on smaller scale. i had all the note phones and went from the note 20 ultra to the s22 ultra so i thought i would miss the awesome cameras but really didnt miss at all, this phones camera is fine even without the zoom on the other phones i only used that feature to take pics of moon so i dont miss at all. if you are looking for a awesome phone then look no further this is it.

This is my first ever Samsung product! I've had the zfold 4 for about 2 months now. Wow! Came from an iPhone 13 PRO MAX. Man I wish I would've switched sooner. I will never go back to iPhone again. Everything about this phone is literally amazing . Love the ability to multi task with different apps open at once. The camera is incredible. Sound is loud and clear. Perfect combination of a phone and tablet . The front screen is just the right size for easy use when on the go in public. When open it's incredible. Great mini tablet. When in bed makes a perfect mini TV lol. Love this phone. I recommend to everyone

Most Versatile Phone I've Ever Had
Bought the fold when it was released as my eyesight was being taxed by the Note2. I'm very pleased with the unfolded screen size as it greatly reduces the stress on my eyes reading files at work. It is also a great boon to my photography that allows me to showcase my portfolio! Given the capabilities of folding it and placing it in my pocket is even better. It doesn't disappoint playing music or videos with its screen size and sound capabilities. Playing games on this small tablet is a great past time when traveling! Beware... people will want to handle it if you have it out!

Fold your screen and amaze your friends
I bought my Fold4 for the same reason anyone does. I want to this folding screen. I've seen older versions and was disappointed by the obvious fold and division of the screens into two. To my elation, on the Fold4, unfolding the phone is like seeing a magician for the first time. The screen unfold and is seemless. The OS operates fantastic keeping menus on one side and the open programs on the other. Windowed apps are smooth and easy too operate. Expanding apps to full screen show no fold or dimness. I love it.

I've always been a Samsung phone user. I have always used Samsung Note series. As the Note series was discontinued, I switched to Galaxy Z Fold. I love my phone so far. "Samsung is trying to help the environment by not including a wall charger." LOL!! Samsung needs to be more honest about wanting to make more money by selling the wall charger separately. "New Samsung users will need to purchase a wall charger to charge their new device." You will need to purchase a wall charger even if you're paying almost $2,000.00 for a new phone

Just got this phone 2 weeks ago and so far its been flawless. Battery is excellent and it zooms through everything. Photos are crisp and beautiful. A bit expensive but well worth the money. Size wise it is heavy and thick, but a beauty when opened up like a butterfly.

I have been using the Z FOLD4 for a few months now and it has been a great upgrade to the previous model. I did have some issues on the 3rd generation but they seem to have been resolved and improved upon greatly with the latest model. It it great for video and entertainment purposes along with work and school use. Whenever I pull my phone out in front of friends and family they are always excited to get info on how it works. I refer it to customers who love to watch movies and YouTube on their device.

For many years, I’ve been stuck in the Apple ecosystem, though it’s not a bad thing, It sure wasn’t only thing out there. For the last few years I’ve seen Samsung introduce some beautiful hardware showcasing their intuitive software. Samsung is a pioneer of feature rich phones that their competitors can only copy. Being original is what makes Samsung unique. I have the Fold 4 and everything about it is unique. Samsungs software engineers know how to make the users experience easy and fun. Let’s not forget about the best display in the market. There’s a reason why all other TV and phone manufacturers buy their displays from Samsung. Everybody wants to be the king or at least dress like him. In closing I am thoroughly happy with my purchase and I know that when I do upgrade my phone, I will be upgrading it for another galaxy product. Thank you Samsung for giving us a product that’s worth its price that’s something you can say about other phone manufacturers

Great feature set with minor quirks
This would be my first foldable. It is great for multi tasking. Almost my laptop replacement for video, music , great for meetings.Excellent battery life almost a day with decent usage.
Only issues I have with phones both screen resolutions front one and folded ones are not a standard one so a lot of websites and apps are redenered eithered stretched or squeezed

I'll be sticking with the "Fold" series!!
I look forward toward every August as that's about the time Samsung intros the new Fold series. Now, I'm not a super/power user but I do use my phone quite often for work and the Fold gives me the ability to use it as a tab & a phone w/o having to carry around all kinds of gadgets..laptop, phone, tablet, etc. In fact since I've been getting more and more familiar with the features of my Fold I find myself using my tablet less & less.
I'm glad Samsung has taken the lead on the foldable device market. I've been with Samsung now for approx. 14 years and when the initial fold device came out I wasn't too impressed. I thought they were just trying to carve out their piece of the pie...but, with every new fold series comes drastic improvements. Although, I do believe this is going to be a "big year" for Samsung and foldables. The jump from the 4 to the 5 is going to have to be big. Only 1% of foldable "belong" to Samsung so this will be when more people will find out exactly what this device can do and how it can make your life "easier".
I could list all the specifics about memory, processing speed, etc. If you research your device prior to purchase you're going to know all this ahead of time and what the phone can do anyhow.
What I like about the phone is that a beginner can use it comfortably as well as the expert. You don't have to have huge hands to hold onto it with the inside screen open or "unfolded". You don't have to use five different steps to open a program and use it. That was my biggest issue when I started using the Note series. I felt as if I didn't "know enough" in order to use it. It was like I had to study in order to fully take advantage of the features. I've never felt like that with the Fold devices.
The feature that I use constantly is the split-screen mode. That not only makes my use of the device F.U.N. it makes my work life so much easier.
I could go on an on about the different features and that you don't need a PhD in order to take full advantage of all that the Fold device has to offer. You'll figure that out once you take the step and make that purchase!

Love the phone, a lot of nice features but come on Samsung you are getting cheap. You keep charging more and more for your phones but give us less - for example a C to C type cable but no plug for a wall outlet or USB adapter. You have to purchase that separate for another $15. You also don't give us a pen anymore unless we purchase your case for more money - on sale it was $45 - don't know what it was regular price. Love your products but may have to rethink buying your brand if you keep taking things away. I've always purchased the Note phones for the S-pen but you've taken that model away too.

I was unsure about a folding phone at first especially with the durability but so far after 2 months and a few falls it's still in amazing condition. I have 3 kids and they use it to draw on, watch videos and so on and it's held up. I only have 2 issue and that that the S pen isn't inside the phone ans that is doesn't have the same camera that are in the S22 Ultra.
