They all have the same problem, the screen fails sooner than later and then Samsung will find any excuse to void the warranty. Stay away from this phones in particular and from Samsung in general.

However, with the flip7, I'll be sending it back. It is now just too wide and one handed operation is way more difficult. It does feel premium, but that's not enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Flip Ever Samsung finally got it right. This is my fourth flip and by far the best. The improved cover screen is much better but still needs work. You have to use Good Luck to access all apps. But the increase in size is way better the flip 6. Also when you open the flip if feels like a real phone for first time. The inside screen is bigger and new OS is great. Still needs faster wireless charging and camera still needs work. Can't access some apps on cover screen because of camera bump outs. Speakers are good and the silicon case with ring is the best. The crease in main screen is better but still needs work. The overall feel of phone is much improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery life and fast processor I love my new zflip7. The cameras quality has definitely improved and the battery was way better than the previous generation. Even though it didnt use the snap dragon like its predecessors, the speed is commendable. I do not have any issues so far. Also,I love being able to put more apps on the flip screens. I was able to respond to messages and open youtube without opening the flip.

Has a few more abilities and I love the fact of getting a wallet looking protective that's able to hold cash, ID and a couple of cards I use in the store to pay. I really like it's folding ability to make it smaller and adds even more protection of the main screen. Which it already has a built in protective screen too. The smaller screen just needs a protective screen. No biggie in buying and installing it yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone with a few flaws I've had every flip from the 3 up and I love how the bigger screen works. The main one i keep wanting on every flip is better zoom and megapixels on the camera(because I can't afford the fold and my jobs make it to where the flip is my better option). I also wish there was more features on the cover screen since it didn't change at all. The battery is remarkable and I've only had it get down to about 65% on a full charge in a day. I like that samsung finally made the whole phone the color you chose instead of just the back of the phone being that color and the crease is practically invisible now vs the phones' predecessors. But all in all, this is one of samsung's better zflips.

Did my research, but mentioned the lagging the overheating and the slower download speeds that this phone has. Knew it would be a bit of a step down, but this is 3-4 steps down. I do like the folding feature and it fits my hand well, but that's not enough to overcome the lagging and overheating. Make sure you do a better job at researching than I did before you buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I bought both the Flip 7 and the Fold 7. The Z Flip 7 is fantastic. I have had earlier Flips but this is the best yet. The phone open is as big as my old S25 Ultra. You cannot even see the fold in the screen. It us fast, it is awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great but also disappointing The phone was cute and amazing, and I was really excited to get it, but unfortunately when I got the phone the cover screen went completely black and unresponsive after the first day. Samsung wrote we shouldn't mention anything about the service in this text box, but I need to mention that when we contacted Samsung they literally told us they couldn't not exchange the phone for another that is functioning properly. They told us to bring it to an ubreakifix store instead to fix it. As a Samsung fan this really disappointed me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Set up nightmare The phone may be great, but who knows the set up instructions are non-existent and trying to use the smart switch app resulted in tons of issues and hang ups. I've tried their tech help and they barely speak English and have little knowledge of the zip 7. I was trying to get help with the cover screen and they didn't even know what good lock was. I've never seen such bad "support".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Screen Durability is Trash The screen is trash and they are finding ways to say the phone is not warranted. I have been a Samsung customer for years. I have been using the Flips since the 4. The Flip 4 was the best one they had as I had no issues with it. The Flip 5 had to be repaired several times because of the screen. I got the Flip 6 and as soon as I saw the same issues with it that I saw in the Flip 5, I traded it in for a S25 plus. I wanted a flip again so I traded the S25 plus for the Flip 7. Not 90 days in a the screen is messed up. Shipped it for repair and Samsung stated that it was not eligible for repair under warranty. I cancelled the repair. I just received my phone back and they’ve removed the factory installed screen protector off the phone. Now they want proof that it wasn’t like that when they received it and I neglected to take pictures before I shipped it off. This has been a horrible experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breaks easily They break easily even if you keep it in a strong case. Most months I've gotten without a repair was 13 months. The only version I haven't had issues with was the Flip 3. I have 2 of the Flips at any one time - one for work, one for personal. Both have had chronic screen issues with the Flip 4 and Flip 5 versions. I would recommend to repair the screen for about $180 then trade in for a non-flip or Google phone.

I have had screen issues on every on after about 12 months of use. I've added insurance on every phone after the first failure. This new zflip 7 appears to have a much better screen than the previous zflip 5 I previously used. Hoping it last for 2-3 years of use. In any event I love the compact size of the phone and the Samsung brand.

Screen size is great, the cameras are great, but if you are lookingfor amazing cameras get the S25 instead, this phone is designed for people who care about real estate. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars, it's because the outside screen should at least have the same exact functionalities as the galaxy watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Fold: Screen Failed, Warranty Denied Super disappointed with Samsung. I loved this device, but the screen failed right at the hinge in the center. Samsung initially told me it was covered under their “discounted screen warranty,” so I shipped it in. Then I was told, “Unit was found not eligible for warranty screen replacement,” with no further explanation. The failure was obvious: the screen popped into thin bright lines as soon as I opened it, and after just a few more opens, black liquid bled out from the fold. For a premium device, this kind of breakdown and lack of accountability is unacceptable.

The build quality is outstanding, and the coral color is simply stunning. ?The level of customization is incredible; I have dynamic screensavers of my dog and even playable SNES games on the flip cover. The jelly screen is fully viewable even with my polarized sunglasses, which is a huge improvement. ?For features, the instant conversation translator works seamlessly for back-and-forth conversations, and the ability to record and caption phone calls in real-time is a professional game-changer. This phone easily automates both my personal and professional life. A truly satisfying purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traded in Flip 3 for Flip 7 I bought the Galaxy Z Flip 7 to replace my Galaxy Flip 3 that I used for 4 years. They made significant changes to the phone for the better. The fold line is pretty much invisible at every angle. The batter life is much longer. I use my phone a lot and plug it in every night, the battery has never run out yet. The technology is better too. For instance, the auto correct feature only underlines words that need to be corrected instead of just changing them. I bought the 512GB since it was only $90 more for double the storage. Transferring everything from my old phone to my new phone was incredibly easy. I also got a really good trade in for my Flip 3 phone.
