Rated 5 out of 5 by from Semi-Downgraded 6 Pro Still no IR blaster and they removed the headphone jack. But yea, they did bump the battery up 350MaH. Just buy a 6 Pro with a spare battery and get more tools for way less money. And Samsung for the XCover8 Pro: #1 Removable battery. #2 Headphone jack. #3 IR blaster. #4 Durability. #5 Everything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XCover 7 Pro "Unlocked" recalled by Samsung..? I just bought the SM-G766U "Unlocked" online here near the end of June, it didn't work with Verizon and T-Mobile said it was blocked, now it's July and a big holiday is starting, but they still no idea what's going on with this "Unlocked" phone, except they've all become unavailable from within the Samsung stores...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worse phone I have had in over a decade Randomly turns off, daily or if you drop it. Swype doesn't learn at all, Notification light is super bright and really annoying at night, to the point I want to tape over it, since there is no way to dim it or turn it off apparently. Camera is horrid. Unlock either doesn't want to work or works too easily allowing it to open when you are just holding it without trying, which means you are rnadomly hitting buttons on the screen without knowing it. Screenshot buttons are not condusive to actually being convenient to use. I also didn't realize it doesn't have a headphone jack. It uses the USB port which is just asking for it to wear out faster or break. Limited programability on the buttons. The first time I have been utterly disappointed in a samsung phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rugged phone with camera + CPU caveats This phone is 80% of the way there. I like both the programable buttons and the removeable battery a lot, but you have to live with a few trade-offs. Coming from an S22 Ultra, this camera is awful and I'm getting a lot of stuttering when opening apps or trying to do anything quickly. Typing can often be a struggle because of the lag. The screen is also not OLED. For the life of me, I do not understand why they can't make this exact phone but with a better camera and processor. Then, it would be the perfect phone. Everybody that I show the removable battery to gets excited until I open up the camera and show them what that looks like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong, but slow Honestly, it is a built-for-survival work tool, not a sleek flagship. It can survive brutal concrete drops, thick mud, and heavy rain without a case, but you have to live with some pretty thick, ugly screen bezels. It can let you pop off the back cover to swap in a fresh battery instantly—which is amazing for long days—but the actual 15W wired charging speed feels incredibly slow by today's standards. It can also register your touches perfectly through thick winter gloves or soaking wet hands, but the processor lacks the snappy speed you expect from a modern phone. Finally, it can map a physical red shortcut button to open your favorite apps instantly, but Samsung cheaped out and gave it a weak, slow GPU that makes heavy 3D games stutter and lag.
