Fun watch to have
I've had this watch for a few weeks now and it's pretty fun to do different things with different apps. Like the activities and things like that, I enjoy it quite a bit. Haven't had too many issues. The only issue I had was after I had everything in it did some type of an update and I had to like, redo everything all over again.That was my only issue.

Great Watch but could be better.
This is a great watch with only a few areas I feel could be improved on. 1) The watch will not sit properly on the charging stand for my charger for my previous galaxy watch. 2) Having another watch band in the box for those with larger wrists. 3) Include a screen protector for the watch since they are not easy to find to protect the screen of the watch.

The watch is ok. The band that comes with the watch is garbage. I recommend replacing it. The watch constantly receives notifications, even if you have stopped notifications from an app, you'll still get them. It's not intuitive. The battery life is just over 24 hours. That makes it inconvenient to charge if you're interested in tracking your activity and sleep. Overall, I would skip buying this unless you just want constant interruptions to your day and like losing tracking time to recharging.

Limited style availability, heart rate monitor ok.
I used the Samsung website to purchase my watch. I needed a watch that would provide a-fib monitoring and I use an android phone, so there were not many options. I was frustrated by the lack of product availability on the website. While the watch comes in different colors, styles, sizes, and they offer bespoke customization, the only choice available in the 40 mm size watch was green. I used the online chat for help, and through that source, I was finally able to get a cream 40 mm watch. Not what I really wanted, but better than green. I purchased another band from an online source. The watch checks my heart rate on an ongoing basis, if it is high, I can prompt it to take an EKG reading, and if a-fib is occurring the watch will identify it as such. The EKG can be sent to my MD. This is a very workable solution for me.

I love my new watch, its so sleek and modern. I like that it is smaller than the 46mm but still easy to read with the smooth new surface. The interface is easy and there are so many watch faces to choose from there is something for everyone. Its comfortable and works amazing.

Shopped around for awhile, even ordered a few off of Amazon, sent them back, they were crap and their apps were crap. Finally went to Samsungs site and looked, chatted with some and got a great trade in on my Galaxy 4, got the new Galaxy 7 at a great price and I love it. It works great with the wearable app, that I had already used, looks good. I love it!

I am a senior living alone and was looking at fall detection devices which run around $50/mo. so I was excited to learn the Samsung watch actually had fall detection.
Since I don't have any younger people around it took me a little while to figure things out, I admit I am truly impressed by the technology.

Nice hardware, abysmally poor software.
Bought the Watch 7 44mm when it first got out. The design and HW are nice, but I am very disappointed with the poor quality of the software. Start with the fact that this is their latest watch and it's running software with a security patch from almost 6 months ago. That's embarrassing and unsafe to say the least. There was only one firmware update to this despite the myriad random bugs I encounter every day. The watch regularly freezes and restarts (once every few days), the HR readings are all over the place and potentially random, the sleep score/analysis is missing on some nights for no reason whatsoever (yes, the watch was tightly strapped to my wrist on fully charged). The "always on" setting might well have been removed because the screen will habitually go off regardless of where this setting is (again, healthy battery charge). To add insult to injury, the most valuable health features are artificially blocked unless you use a Samsung phone, which for me is one reason to never purchase one. I could go on about the problems and bugs but I think you get the point. Samsung's software execution is poor. Despite the nice looks and HW upgrades on the SoC side, I can't recommend this to any segment of users.

Horrible battery life
The battery life on this watch is terrible. I have to charge it once a day if I'm using basic features. If I'm using additional feature like GPS tracking then it will need an extra charge. The watch itself has some great features but I can't get past the battery life problem. I should have returned it but there was an article about a promise to fix the battery drain with the next software update. So I waited. I uploaded the update. Really not much better.

I just mainly use my watch for monitoring my sleeping. Sometimes use it while exercising but overall I appreciate what it does as for input information between phone and watch. Keep in mind the 40mm battery doesn't last as long.

Extremely short battery life
The battery only lasts 8-10 hours with very light use. Starting fully charged in the morning the galaxy 7 goes into power saving by mid-afternoon and is dead by dinner. This is with no exercise or audio playback, just casual use - checking the time and responding to the occasional text.

Massive upgrade!

Failed to live up to predecessors
Coming from a Galaxy watch 4 classic, there are definitely pros like the battery life and responsiveness. However the watch freezes every once in a while, which totally negates the faster experience. I also miss the hardware circular ring, the software emulate version is just not as good, and often doesn't trigger correctly. Yes I should've gotten the ultra, but that thing is so ugly. Honestly I regret not buying a watch 6 classic instead, since the hardware doesn't live up to the hype.

Pathetic battery time. Lasts only 4 to 6 hours after putting everything on battery saving mode.
My watch is still at support center for diagnostic. I gave it to center within 15 days time period. I need to see a resolution to this.

I like the looks of the watch, but it won't hold a charge! The battery will run out in less than 10ish hours. The watch won't hold the charge for night which defeats the sleep purpose.

Excellent. No battery issue. No Outlook watchface
I upgraded from a Watch4 Classic to a Watch7 44mm.
POSITIVES
1. Battery life is excellent. I was very worried about this from all of the negative reviews. I was told to buy the 44mm (which I going to anyway) because of its larger battery. After a full 24 hours of wearing it for over a week, I have not a day where the watch was below 40%, and a few days over 50%. Way better than my Watch 4 Classic. If you're holding off due to battery concern, there is none with the 44th.
2. Large screen is nice improvement. Buttons, especially lock screen code and calculator, is easier to select and press numbers. I do not miss the bezel.
3. My watch band from my Watch4 fits perfectly. I read somewhere that it would not, but it does.
NEGATIVES:
1. My two main watch faces are no longer compatible (Cronosurf Wave Pro and Outlook)
2. The Outlook watch face was the ONLY watch face that showed your Outlook calendar on the watchface. Since it is no longer support, there are NO watch faces that will show you your Outlook calendar. Ultra Info Board comes close, but no complication will actually show the calendar. There is no way to show, for example, your next appointment on your calendar on the watchface. It can only be viewed by opening the Outlook app and calendar. This is the main problem with Samsung Watch OS is the weakness in Outlook calendar integration within a watch face.

Sleek, versatile, poor battery life
I appreciate the versatility of the watch. It hasn't been difficult to adjust from the Fitbit I had previously. The battery life is poor, I haven't found a way to set up functionality to extend battery life in the few weeks I've had the watch. Overall a good product but I won't likely purchase another one unless battery life is improved to at least get through the day.

Overall a great watch
It took me a few days to get used to all the features on the watch and how to find things, how to customize, etc., but once I did, this is a great watch. The battery life is terrible, however. I have it set on power saving mode and I still have to charge it about every two days. With my Fitbit Luxe, I had to charge it only once every week. If I didn't have power saving mode on, I would probably have to charge this every day. Other than the battery life, though, the features are great and easy to use. I like the fitness tracking and being able to sync it with my Samsung phone.

Samsung products are garbage
If I could give 0 stars I would. Watch was worn maybe 3 days before it completely stopped working. The worst part Samsung won't send me a new watch and instead it's making me go through the lengthy warranty process. After paying for a new watch who wants a refurbished one 2 weeks in? Wish I went with best buy for the purchase but will never buy Samsung products again. Btw best buy has it got almost the same price without having to trade anything in. I had to give up my old watch for basically the save price best buy was doing it. Samsung is a terrible company and wasted hours of my time on the phone with them to only be disappointed
