Still not sold on the whole idea
As far as smart watches go, this one is alright. This is the third model I've purchased, but I end up giving them away. I am still trying to understand why anyone would need one or find them all that useful. They do not have the same cachet as a fine watch. The bands are not particularly comfortable. They are a little awkward to wear as they must be snug and high on your wrist to get proper biometrics readings. The information provided is of little value other than to tell you how many steps you've made in a day. The screens are too small to provide useful information in the case of emails or texts. The idea of taking a phone call over a watch strikes me as a little ridiculous. I just don't get it!

GW7 replaces GW5, but is it waterproof?
I bought this GW7 because my GW5 only lasted about 14 months before water leaked into the watch and killed the battery. Because of that negative experience I'm planning not to use this GW7 for ocean swimming. But given it's water proof rating it should be able to hold up to water. I just wouldn't count on it lasting.

The watch battery doesn't last not even 4 hours. I have disabled all apps and check all software updates have it on save battery power and still doesn't stay more than 4 hours. The battery draining too fast. I hate this watch, it doesn't last while I'm at work.

Solid Upgrade from Classic 4
I was still quite happy with my galaxy watch 4 classic, but upgraded because I got such a great trade-in deal for black friday. I can say I am VERY satisfied and happy I made the plunge. It's a much bigger upgrade that i anticipated, both in battery life and responsiveness. Great job Samsung!

Worst customer service ever!
Watch battery dies too quickly. Customer service is the worst of all companies i ever purchased from. They tell you buy the item then call us back and we will honor the price, then you call back and they tell you they cant honor anything. They then send it to a different department who then does the same thing and not honor a purchased price. Stay away they are horrible!

I bought this right when it came out. It works well for normal use. However, if you want to use this for tracking your hikes it is HIGHLY inaccurate. It was 2 miles off on my distance, and over 1K feet on my elevation.

Great watch and incredible functionality
Coming from a Galaxy Watch4, this was a very pleasant surprise. The build quality is superb, the look and feel is very premium, the screen is gorgeous and huge without feeling overwhelming in my small/medium wrist. The functionality is my favorite part. I love that I can download music directly to the watch and enjoy a nice walk/run without being burdened by my phone, and still have full functionality for the things that matter.

Poor battery. Where is my watch band?
I like all of the health monitoring features, but when I have everything turned on the watch must be charged every single day. The movement prompt does not seem to sense movement, often telling me that it is time to move when I am already walking around or when I have just sat down.
One month after delivery and the dark gray sport band that was supposed to come with my watch is still not in stock. The free athleisure band is not a good color for a men's watch band. If Samsung cared about their customers, they would let people choose which free band instead of the ugly silver band I received.

Unblocked device
I was excited to receive my new watch, but when I tried to connect to my wireless plan it was giving me problems. When I took it in to a Verizon store they also had problems connecting and then told me I had a locked device and we couldn't use it with Verizon. I told them when I ordered it, it said it was compatible with Verizon service, then again was told it was a locked device after multiple unsuccessful attempts I decided to call samsung. When I reached out to samsung customer service i was told it was an unlocked device that should be used with my phone service and was told there's nothing I can do about it, and to take it up with my phone service. Im very upset with samsung service.

Poor battery life
I bought this around two months ago thinking it would be an upgrade from my watch 5 pro. The improvements are minimal. The bezel is slightly better. The thickness is barely different. The battery is terrible. I wish I hadn't traded in my old watch and its too late to return it. I may have had better luck with the the 7pro but I didn't feel like it presented enough of a value and I hated the rpund/square shape.

Disappointing Color Options
I pre-ordered this product with mixed feelings, and unfortunately, my doubts were confirmed when I finally received it. The only reason I opted for this particular watch was that it was the only option available at the time. However, the color I received is not what I would have chosen if given other options.
While the product itself is decent, the color is a letdown and it doesn't fit my personal style or preferences. I wish the company had offered more color options.

Watch7 wifi 44mm grey review
I'm coming off of having the Fit2 to get the Warch 7 44mm Wifi model.
Look: very stylish and covers a good portion of the wrist.
Bands: The current release don't need to ve repeated. The Fabric band, to me, felt rough on the skin. The athleisure band is over exaggerated and extra long for no reason. However, you have a variety of good colors to choose from.
Apps: This watch was presented with 32gbs of storage but when you dive into the memory, half of it is already taken up and you can barely and rarely uninstall any apps to free up some space.
Battery: This needs a lot more work/enhancements. Off of a full charge, the watch calculated a full 3 days ONLY and on my settings I have both battery saver options on, truly disappointing feature here. With both battery saver options on, you can't lift your wrist to turn on the screen, can monitor stress or heart beat, can't auto-detect workouts. Limited features on limited battery life spans.
Notifications: Samsung would be better suited to take features from all their watches and implement them into 1 option. The features from the Fit2 to Watch7, while different, I lose control in the settings with the Watch7. Once I send a txt msg on my phone and after closing the phone I get a notification from the watch or sending/delivering the msg and if I remove the notification settings on the watch it'll impact my notifications on my phone, this is very messy.

Shipped wrong band, won't replace.
I think Samsung messed up the pre-order shipment and doesn't want to remedy that. I bought a sport band watch but they sent me a fabric band instead. With hours of phone call with their support team, they still won't get me the sport band. I am not even asking for refund. I just want a sport band. It's a decent watch but the experience ruined it all.

Incredible Smart Watch - Recommended!
I recently got the Galaxy Watch7, 44mm, in Green with LTE, and it has exceeded my expectations. The screen quality is top-notch, offering vibrant and clear visuals. The watch is super fast, handling all tasks smoothly without any lag.
One of the standout features is the health analyzer and data tracking. It keeps comprehensive records of my heart rate, sleep patterns, and even records my snoring. Remarkably, it detected that I have sleep apnea, which I was previously unaware of, allowing me to manage it better with my doctor.
For my work, the watch is incredibly helpful in keeping me alert about meetings, reminders, and activities. It ensures I don't have to constantly check my phone for important notifications, making my workflow much more efficient.
In summary, the Galaxy Watch7 offers impressive performance, comprehensive health tracking, and seamless connectivity, making it a valuable addition to my daily routine.

Good design and features, TERRIBLE BATTERY.
I've had this watch for a week and now and the battery is terrible. I like the look of it, I love the display, and I love the features, but the fact that I have to charge the watch two to three times a day is ridiculous. I have the always on display turned off too so I'm not even using all the features. They're having me send my watching to get "repaired* but I'm not optimistic about this considering other people are having the same issue.

I got the watch yesterday and finally had it set up today. It went from 72% to 50% in about 30mins for the setup. Then after i got it set up i received an alert that it was hot. It went into SOS MODE until cooled. I continued on with the set up trying to delete some of the apps and widgets. About 10mins into that another temp notification. Wanted a Galaxy Ultra but price point was still too high for my blood so I settled for the Watch 7 LTE, and i am glad I did. The watch is very stylish.and the choices for the screen display is amazing. So many options. I have only touch the surface for all the configurations that can be picked. My only disappointment is that I couldnt get it in the ORANGE option like the ULTRA. Made very well, and have received many comments on the watch. Love the notifications i get on the watch. Galaxy Watch 7 Impresses, Watch 8 Disappoints
I’ve been really impressed with the Galaxy Watch 7 – sleek design, smooth performance, and overall it feels like a premium smartwatch. I was genuinely excited for the Watch 8, but honestly, the design is a big letdown. It doesn’t have the same clean and stylish look that makes the 7 so appealing. I really wanted to upgrade, but the 8’s design just feels off and disappointing. For now, I’ll stick with the Watch 7 because it simply looks and feels better.

Solid device with a couple of caveats
I got this thing about 4 days ago to upgrade from a Fitbit. The first thing I realized that all of you reading might already know is that this is a completely different class of product than a fitness tracker. This is a smart watch which has a lot more features than basic fitness tracking up to and including a constant LTE connection.
The build quality, accessory ecosystem, and functionality are all mostly great. It definitely feels like it's a step above the fit and finish of even Fitbits which are well known brands. It can track pretty much everything that a Fitbit charge 6 can and more. The screen is surprisingly clear and even when dimmed still pops with color and contrast.
Those are all the good things. Now for my main and only issue and how I solved it. The LTE connection, get texts and calls to your watch, stay connected constantly for up to the second live updates, etc. etc. The only problem is that while you CAN do this, it will decimate your battery. With every power saving feature enabled BUT LTE on (that is battery saver, Bluetooth off, AOD off, Wi-Fi off, dimmest screen possible, health tracking off, and a barebones watch face) My battery drained by nearly %15 an hour, which is clearly no sustainable if you work even an 8 hour shift. This battery life on a device that is supposed to stand in for a watch, or even a fitness tracker would be completely unacceptable.
My solution, which dropped my battery usage down to %2-%3 per hour, a much more acceptable range, was to turn on airplane mode the majority of the time and then only turn it off once or twice a day to sync or when I specifically want to use LTE features. This is not ideal as it obviously disables a couple of the main features of an LTE enabled watch like receiving texts or calls and constant connection to your phone. However for my use case it turns the product from basically unusable to totally fine.
All other things being equal or better I find that this is a totally acceptable product, I wish Samsung would release an update allowing you to more deeply customize syncing and features outside of airplane mode (to my knowledge right now the LTE configuration begins and stops with on/off) so that I could set it up to not constantly connect but rather automatically sync data every 30 minutes to an hour and completely disable more connection heavy features like constantly checking for new calls/texts. In this way I could not even have to worry about syncing but also have usable amounts of battery life for 1-2 days.

Not a fitness tracker!
It's a fitness tracker that doesn't tell you how many calories you burned! What a joke! This watch is so nice, does so much, and is so pretty yet you can't set it to tell you your total amount of calories burned like any other normal fitness tracker. It only tells you the activity amount or something. I don't want to know that! I want to be able to look at my watch and see how many calories I've burned on the front face, not have to go into a separate application for that. Can't believe anyone thought that was a good design. And you can't customize that in the app. I even called customer support and they said you can't do that. Samsung really needs to fix this. I had to return mine and go back to my Fitbit. Incredibly disappointed

Poor battery life is a deal breaker for me.
This watch has to be charged every 24 hours, not exaggerating. How can a person get meaningful tracking when the watch cannot be worn for 1 hour and 45 minutes everyday? To make things even more complicated, you often need to reboot after charging or it won't resume tracking. My daughters Apple watch blows this out of the water. I am now thinking i need to go back to Apple so I can have a good watch.

The worst thing I've ever bought, the bacteria lasts one day, and I've been regretting the purchase for a month now

It fits much better then the others I've had
Nice watch, it has a longer band for a bigger wrist, very nice. Works as it should. Very happy with it. I have heart problems, it is great at keeping up with my heart rate, and letting me know that I need to get up and move around. And let me know when I need to relax. It's nice keeping up with my steps

Not inline with previous releases for durability
This is the 3rd or 4th Samsung watch I've owned and by far the worst for durability and reliability. The case shows wear very easily with the paint scratching easily around the crystal after a fairly short period of ownership. The battery life is also lower than on my previous watches. The features don't appear to be much different than my prior watch either, so all-in-all it is a regrettable purchase.

Sad Longtime Fan from
Longtime fan switching to Garmin
It pains me to write a poor review, as I've owned Samsung phones, watches, and tablets for over a decade at this point. I almost went one star, but I do like the screen, processor speed, and phone integration of this device, as I have my previous Samsung watches (going back to the Gear series).
Unfortunately, the battery life and warranty service have been so poor, the things I like are almost irrelevant. I noticed after less than a year of ownership that the batter could not even get me through a full day (charged to 100% in the morning). Forget doing any kind of sleep tracking, I couldn't even get through a normal day with a fairly normal workout and walking. This was obviously an unacceptable status. After jumping all the hoops Samsung requires, I was able to send it in for warranty repair. I got it back 2 weeks later, but can't tell you if the battery got any better, because when it came back, suddenly the HR sensor didn't work. Cue all the at home hoops again, and back to Samsung for warranty repair. I've now been without a functioning watch for almost two months, and it is still at the factory.
Based on this experience, I will probably switch to a Garmin. Even if the repair folks are eventually able to fix it, I don't know that I will trust it again. For what these things cost, they should work as designed for more than a year. And being without your device for over a month is unacceptable "service."

Best Android Watch to Wear
Great watch to wear & easy to read. I bought the LTE version to use independent of carrying a smartphone. I can make phone calls/texts/emails/exercise & stream music.
There's 1 bug needing repair: Tapping/Swiping doesn't respond like it should. If it's repairable great, otherwise I'll send it back to Samsung for another one.

Watch is ok, low quality band
I have used Samsung watches since series 3. Most of the time loved them. With this one I am a bit dissapointed with the band. In less than a month the band discolored. I do not have showers with it, so not a drop of water on it and still discolored on the sides.

Heart rate not working
Decided to upgrade my Galaxy Watch Active 2 to the new Galaxy 7. The 7 never reads heart rate consistently. Called tech support and was unable to figure out. My Active 2 never had any issues, heart rate always worked. Just disappointed in this purchase.

WATCH7 KEEPS TURNING ON WHILE ON CHARGER
WHYS DOESNT MY WATCH7 TURN OFF WHILE CHARGING??!!!? I PREFER TO LET MY WATCH GO DOWN TO ZERO SO I CAN CHARGE IT FROM 0-100%. I TURNED OFF "SHOW CHARGING INFO" AND "AUTO POWER ON" BUT THE WATCH7 STILL KEEPS TURNING ON WHEN I PUT IT ON THE CHARGER. IF I USE MY WATCH ALL DAY, THEN CHARGE IT WHILE ON, THE BATTERY IS GONNA DIGRADE FASTER. ON THE NEXT UPDATE CHANGE THAT SO THE WATCH7 TURNS OFF

Style Over Substance. A Complete Letdown
?????
This watch is a disaster in a sleek disguise. Battery life is abysmal — I’m charging it more than I’m using it. The interface is laggy, the sensors are wildly inaccurate, and half the features feel like unfinished beta tests. I’ve had smoother experiences with dollar store toys. It’s trying so hard to be everything that it ends up being good at absolutely nothing. This is not a smartwatch — it’s a smart disappointment.
