I can just picture the Samsung smart watch 7 engineers having this conversation, "Hey, we could buy a certain competitors watch and check out their battery and try to match their tech, their battery lasts all day. We could but I have an even better idea, let's see what the cheapest tech out there is and use it, plus it's cheaper. Great Idea!" I have had my Galaxy 7 smartwatch for 7 days and have factory reset in 3 times now. Each time the battery will last all day for 2 days then on the 3rd day it drops to lasting to just over 3 hrs. I recharge it and it's back to 3 hours. Then I factory reset it and for 2 days it's great, then the 3rd day back to 3 hours a charge. I haven't added any apps either. Ridiculous, Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for pawning off such garbage to its customers. They have known about this issue and instead of making it better for the new 7 it's worse than the previous version. Samsung, you need to do better.

Short battery life, lacking controls, too small to read or touch anything. i would recommend it to tiny people only who enjoy to carry a charger cable (unable to charge from phone) with them all the time and keep refilling the watch as a new hobby.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from over all could be better with battery currently testing out the battery life. seems to be draining faster than the previous watch 6 over all one step ahead of watch 6 with the health features. battery life has been a not so upgrade for the 7. even with the more consious chip upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice watch I got this to replace my watch 5. I got the 44mm and it came with 2 bands for the promotion. The default sports band is nice, but I recomend the athlesure band because it looks cool and it has a nice texture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely An Excellent Watch This is absolutely a great watch that I'm glad to own. The best thing about this watch is the battery life. The battery lasts about 27 hours and this without the battery saver being on. So far no complaints. Excellent watch to own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It doens't support Verizon Standalone plan I bought LTE model for my kid. But Verizon said it could not be added as standalone type. Only numbershare was available. And Verizon agent said only iWatch could support standalone type. What the heck... I don't know why I bought this model. If I knew it couldn't support verizon standalone plan, I would not have buy this one. If you want to use it Verizon standalone type, don't buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very limited LTE The watch is great if it's connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Other than texts there's effectively no LTE data capability though. The watch overheated all 3 times I tried streaming a podcast on a walk without my phone. Calls out of phone range kill the battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic upgrade Trade-In value was a little lower than I expected but the upgrade from the Frontier3 to the Galaxy 7 has been a great improvement. It isn't as bulky and very user friendly. I use it mainly for fitness/swimming and the ability to stay water-safe is amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some nice features but poor battery life The watch has some nice features. I gave it a 3 star rating for two reasons. First the battery life is terrible. It lasts less than 10 hours. Second is that it has the AI feature but my phone is an S 21 so its not compatible. The software update was only for S 22 and above. Since I don't want to pay for a new phone at this time, it's a useless feature.

More often than not it will say "Inconclusive " or worse tell me I'm in Afib when my Kardia device says normal sinus with pvc's. It could be really frightening for someone with an afib reading and not knowing it's not accurate. For the price I was hoping for better.

Maybe I got a dud, but I cannot figure out how to do a return or even how to access the 2-yr Care Plan. What a terrible purchase this was! At least Apple has a physical store I can go to for help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy 7 watch Junk! Waste of my money! Never had a smart watch before. This one is supposed to do every thing I wanted it to do and more. If I could figure out how to use everything I need on this watch it would be helpful. It gets ZERO stars for battery life. I charge it until I get to work. Put it on my wrist work 8 hrs and many days it is dead before I leave work. I bought this mainly so my elderly Mom could easily access me. Half the time texts dont come threw but spam calls do. For me it has turned out to be a waste of money. If it wont stay charged and people can't get up with me when they need to, it can't check my heart or BP or steps on the charger all the time. Nobody at my local office knows anything about them because they all have apple. Just really disappointed. I drive a forklift so when it showes me having 4000 steps I may have about 1000 actual steps, so that isn't helping me either. It's actually a dumb watch not a smart watch. I wont buy another on that is for sure. Stuck with this one for 2 yrs and the extra line I have to pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery Life is Ehhh So, I upgraded from a Galaxy5 expecting the battery life to be better and longer. I was getting about a day and a half on a full charge and using just as an al day watch, no music or phone calls. The 7 appears to have the same issue, the battery life doesn't appear to be much better, I would expect the battery to last 3 to 4 days when not being used for other applications, I might be getting 2 days on a full charge now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product but battery should be worked upon. Great Product but Battery does not hold Charge as expected. For the price i expected the battery to last at least 24 hrs but sometimes before I return home the watch is already off. It will also be necessary to have various colors of the watch band especially also in black and white, which was scarce at the time i was making the purchase. Apart from that the watch is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely inaccurate gps! I've had a years-long relationship with Samsung, but now it's likely over. My Watch 5's gps was accurate without fault. This Watch 7 is off by as much as 20% on any given walk which I do every day. I expected it was a glitch that would get fixed with updates. I even expressed my dismay to support to which their "fix" was to buy the next model. I asked, "Why would I be so stupid as to buy another one with no guarantee that it would be better, or that I would get the expected support. Samsung never failed me before, but It looks like the end of the road for our relationship. I have owned previously: 4 Tvs, one laptop, 4 tablets, 4 sets of headphones, and 3 watches--all Samsung. I would assume that would make me a good customer, but I'm evidently wrong about that. I expect my next phone (sooner than later) will be and Experia, and my next watch will likely be a Pixel. I'm so disappointed every time I go for a walk.
