The watch has many features. i've upgraded from an active watch where the battery life wasn't the best. my main reason for upgrading to the watch5 pro was reports of better battery life. initially my watch could only go for 1 day and a half before i had to charge it again. for some reason, now the watch will last on a charge for 3+ days before i need to charge it. i'm not sure if recent update within the last month (November) improved battery performance or not, but i'm pleased the battery is lasting longer now.

I've had this about a month now... battery life is decent... watch features are nice... being able to answer the phone on my watch is a definite plus... I didn't give 5 * because for one I miss the dial feature, the second reason is because the included watch band makes it absolutely impossible to charge the watch on my Duo charger... it will not lay flat unless you remove the band... thumbs down for that...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch with some caveats. I've been wearing this watch for a while. Overall, the features are very good. Battery life is good. The problem comes in when you own other brands of phones. Some features only work on the Samsung phones. This is not a problem obviously if you have Samsung, but if you're a Pixel, other Android, or an iPhone user, it's a problem. For that I would primarily only suggest it if your have a galaxy phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Watch, Worth it on Preference Been using for about a month now. The watch is similar to the previous generation of Galaxy Watches. I thought I was going to miss the rotating bezel, but I haven't so far. The battery is reliably better than the Galaxy Watch 4, which was somehow worse than the 3. I consistently get three solid days of use from the watch with the occasional fourth. The titanium body is nice to have since my dog thinks she needs to remove my watch when playing. The body has held up to the abuse. It tracks stats well. The one complaint is that the software occasionally resets the shortcuts I've set up with the keys, adding a couple of extra minutes when I need to access the app I want and it doesn't open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I pre-ordered the Watch5 Pro, as I have had the Galaxy Watch 3 Frontier since it was new and was ready for an upgrade. I really wanted Android Wear OS as an upgrade from Tizen. This has been a great upgrade as the use of the Google Play store, and its apps, as well as Android Assistant have made the functionality of the watch what I have wanted. I wouldn't recommend another similar product more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No complaints about the watch, just the band Nice upgrade from the 4, both in battery life and durability. Not getting the scratches in the metal case that the 4 had. The band design is a miss. You should be able to charge the watch flat an a phone or Duo charger but it is pain. Yes, it will work, but what a struggle to get the band flipped back around. I want to cut some material off and make it work the way it should have from the start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Senior's health monitoring + apps for any interest I initially invested in the SAMSUNG Pro because of it’s health monitoring capabilities. Now 3 months into my purchase it’s become part of my health program. I’m no longer guessing if I’m getting the proper amount and kind of sleep with the SAMSUNG health monitor software, I can see my results and make efforts to improve my sleep. There are many other real time measurements such as Blood Pressure (Took me a while to figure out), ECG, Stress Level, Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen, Body Composition, and Dietary logs if you want to take the time to record. Exercise logs and reminders that keep me up and going. I haven’t used the route, compass, and other features however I plan on exploring them soon. The one thing I didn’t care for but is not terrible is when I reach into my pocket for keys or something the watchband de-clasps. I need my glasses to see the small print but that is the effects of 70-year-old eyes that I have grown to accept. Thanks for letting me get in my review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great improvement vs older series Bought this about a month ago, love the newest series vs the older ones. Battery life is good with LTE and BT enabled all day. The sapphire glass is one of the reasons I wanted to upgrade, it's more recessed and not exposed like the older version. The magnetic buttlefly clasp make it easy to put on/off and adjust. Watch face is also a lot more fun with animated characters and customization out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpected love I purchased out of envy. I purchased my girlfriend a Apple Watch and wanted the lte experience. Went for the 4 but it was out so i went 5 pro and after previously owning a fossil 4 the first thing I'm still blown away with is battery life then the comfort. Its looks like it should be a lot heavier but for me its barely noticeable weight wise. Functionality wise its becoming my go to in my day to day because it works so well and i have come to rely on it more then my phone. Texting, calls, quick news, health stats and set up exactly how i want it to look because of the nice selection of watch faces and options within them. I'm waiting for the downside but so far none but i never knew the joy of the physical rotating bezel i did demo it but the digital one is maybe not as cool but i like it and the more i use it its good. I recommend the LTE because the features make it a lot more useful. No more envy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Watch!!! I just purchased a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to replace an original Galaxy Watch. The Original Galaxy Watch was very large and very heavy. The Watch 5 Pro is also very large but much lighter due to the titanium case material. I like the larger selection of apps in the new operating system and the new Watch is much quicker and sharper.I just wish it had the rotating bezel of the older watch.

I can change the clock face to any style and configuration I can dream up. I've loaded a long Playlist of my favorites workout songs to help keep me energized. The most amazing watch I have ever owned and I don't even need my phone with me to make and receive calls.

I like the way it feels on my wrist, heavy enough to feel solid but not so heavy to be uncomfortable. I personally love the band, you have to get creative to charge it if you have a charging pad, but I prefer this band to past ones, easy on and is the length I want right away. Watch is full of features that i cant even list them all but tracking my sleep and workouts are the ones I use the most. Favorite Galaxy watch so far.

Easy tracking of workouts, messages and emails. Need more practice to answer calls that it was easier with S3 Frontier. Had not try Samsung Pay yet because when I tried watch 4, once enter PIN it locked the watch. So far, happy with the watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery is worst than frontier Beside the fact that there is no more dial to navigate the device which is far less accurate to swipe the edge if the screen, my main complaint is the life of the battery. With battery saver on the watch does not last 3 days without charging. Frontier model which I had it for over 4 years lasted me 5 days without charging so that I didnt have to carry my charger around but with watch 5 upgrade seems like down grade. Thinking about going back to frontier

I consider to make an upgrade but excepted the screen and software that are a plus from my previous watch, battery is weaker and the shel is for shore not titanium. When I tried to put a case to protect it I dropped it on kitchen floor from 60 cm I guess and the case has now two dents... titanium lose in front of tiles... And the brace lock with magnetic closing system is genius...

I am a heavy user with continuous heart rate on, sleep tracking and does multiple GPS tracked activities throughout a day. This lasts me a good 1,5 day on average which is much better than the Watch 4. I do miss the rotating bezel though as it's more difficult to navigate the screen without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing and I'm glad I upgraded from the Watch 3. I pre-ordered this because I was growing tired of the watch 3 and am very happy I did. The watch works great and I prefer the google/android experience over the Samsung/tizen experience. I run 30 - 35 minutes every morning while listening to spotfify via LTE and even with what I consider "normal" use (checking the time and checking messages a dozen times a day), I still have about 40% battery remaining each day. I do not have the watch face on at all times, that probably helps. I charge every night and I'm good to go for the next day without any concerns. I occasionally check my heart, body fat, and ecg (just for fun) and I think the numbers are accurate - I compare when I visit my doctor or sit in a machine at the CVS. I do not miss the rotating bezel but I love how this one has a protective "bezel" to safeguard the glass. My wife has the smaller watch5 without the bezel and I get scared for her glass - but it's been good so far. HIGHLY recommend this watch. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that the temperature function is not "functionable" and wish Samsung did not make promises that they cannot keep (like they did with the ecg function in my watch 3 which happened 2 years late), but for me it's not a deal-killer.

I did not think much of it at first just like a regular upgrade but I was actually mind-blown to find out all the tech built into this watch. My S3 watch was pretty good. This one is made better, has better O/S, and is much faster when interacting with it. the custom watch faces are great, the software experience is much better, and the battery life is Greater, I also like the new bands way more. I picked up 2 of them. I am very happy with this product. I was caught off guard by everything that was upgraded. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know.

So many new features, amazing. Some I prob. will never use, some a super cool and already in my daily use automatically, like call making with WhatsApp, Skype, land line, workout logs, backtracking, health sensors. If you set up the watch on battery saver, it still functions the same and battery lasts for 3+ days while the watch is still being fully used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent battery life and snappy performance! Greatly improved battery life over watch 4 classic, response is significantly better as well. LTE transition when phone is not available is seemless. I do miss the physical rotating bezel sometimes but the digital version that gives watch a much cleaner design is certainly growing in me. Ability to use Google AI instead of Bixby is a welcome change. Sorry Samsung I tried to live Bixby but that dog just will not hunt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything good except reset lose data I've had to reset my watch every time I've accidentally unpaired my watch from my phone, I can't just pair it again, it makes me reset for new phone each time and I have to reinstall everything. Pain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great watch for all user personas. I was hesitant because of the size and lack of a bezel, especially after coming from the silver Watch 4 Classic. But once I got the device on my wrist I immediately fell in love with it. It's definitely got some chonk to it but it sits more flush on my wrist than the 4 did. This is the first watch I've been able to have the AOD on and squeeze 2.5 to 3 days out of. A solid plus because I hated having to charge the old watch every 5 hours. The display looks great and vibrant and the lip around it helps me not miss the bezel. I do miss clicking it in meetings when I get fidgety but small price to pay.

I never got a response. My watch won't measure blood pressure. I downloaded the latest app to do so. I'm disappointed.

The battery life on this watch is send and the ease of use is amazing. Great apps from calculator to Google assistant and so on. I love this watch and plan on keeping it fit a long time to come.

Step back: Mechanical rotating bazel removed. Screen swipe not as precise and laggy. Stagnant step Inability of controlling home automation from the watch when away and phone or local network unavailable.

The battery last 2-3 days with normal use with the always on display enabled. The only complaint would be the band makes it difficult to charge on my 3 port charger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with a samsug phone Bought this watch since I switched to a ZFlip and wanted LTE access Incase I wanted to not bring my flip I to a harsh environment like the beach. I did not like my watch 4 at all, it didn't have Google assistant, battery life was poor, and it didn't work well when I switched to pixel. Now that I have the 5, most problems have been solved, great battery life and charging times, I go all day and sleep with the watch and top off the battery in the shower and it has worked well. Google assistant works again, I don't use Bixby on the watch at all so Google assistant is nice to have. While I'm sure this watch would still be missing features without a Samsung phone, it's something I haven't tested yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Awesome watch for Active Wear. Lots of customization. Titanium is very nice for scratch resist. Wears big at 45mm. Not really suitable for anyone with small wrists. Battery for me last around 3 days of normal use. LTE is nice if you want to ditch your phone for exercise/activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features. Poor implementation. My experience may not be yours. I used to use the watch active 2. Now I upgraded to the watch 5 pro. There are some HUGE differences. Watch pro 5 is very durable. I'm constantly bumping into walls or other things and the watch 5 doesn't have a single scratch on it. I can get a oxygen check that is mostly accurate. Currently it says o2 is around 94% It will also tell me my body composition. How much fat I have on me, or muscle. Connects seemless with other samsung devices. Now the down part. When on battery saver or not, caller ID takes awhile to display who's calling me. It will vibrate and make noise on my watch. Being as samsung is very health conscious, not their health but yours, the watch will automatically begin to time your walks, or like they say, your workout. I get around 18000 to 24000 a day so it constantly on the workout screen. When I check what time it is, and I push the button on the side to show me what time it is, it takes a couple of trys. Overall just too slow to really be accurate. It also mistakes vacuuming as a walk. (Constant movement back and forth is somehow misconstrued as walking.

First, I was in awe of how flawlessly it integrated with my phone and LTE carrier. Second, the feature set is vibrant, especially the health and fitness. Third, the ease of use beats all the other watch suppliers. I am ecstatic with this watch, and I have had several—well done, Samsung.

Kinda thick though (see photo).

Example changing from Bluetooth connection from the phone to 4GLTE data, tracking a run and streaming music from Spotify, the watch falls apart and becomes unusable. Processor, RAM and internal memory need to be upgraded for the watch to perform as intended. Would help battery life too. 2 hours max from full charge of tracking GPS and streaming music, battery is drained. Not super impressed. Samsung, up your game at this price point. Incremental upgrades will not cut it. Let's go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why I bought the 5 pro over the new 6. Does everything that I wanted in a watch. The larger battery is why I purchased the 5 pro instead of the new Galaxy Watch 6. I never run out of batter in the same day. Charge while your watch while your getting ready in the mornings and you should be good to go for the rest of the day. Might not be an accurate comparison, not having worn the 6. I am very satisfied with the 5 pro.
