Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you are in the market for a watch this is definetly worth a look At first, I thought having a watch would be redundant considering I have a phone that does the same thing. However, after using this for a couple of days I would not leave the house without it. It is so convenient. In one glance I can get caught up on the main things I would want to access on the phone (text, email and calendar). I like being able to change a song when I am at the gym from my wrist. I don’t have to get my phone sweaty anymore. Also, it is easy to swap out bands for a different look. It has a distinctive premium look when paired with a metal band as seen in the picture. So some of the drawbacks are that there are not that many apps that you can use compared to what is available on your phone. Also, since this is a Bluetooth version you have to have your phone nearby (~30 feet). Lastly, it is not nearly has fast and responsive as your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and addicting This is the first smart watch I have owned, and I am thrilled with it. It comes with a mini charger that connects to watch with a minimally powered magnet, so be sure to see on the watch screen that it is actually charging. All of the sensors work accurately for me as I, in the beginning, took corresponding readings with pulse oximeter and had my annual EKG that matched the watches reading. So that is s comfort. The watch does require daily charging, which is not a problem for me as I usually take the watch off for shower. Yes, it us watterproof, but I prefer to not wear it as I hate the feeling of dampness under the watch. Using it for tracking walking is a great motivator, as is the sleep tracker. I use a CPAP machine during sleep and the tracking is very beneficial to know what kind of sleep I had and whether or not is coincides with my watch. Get Moving! if so great motivator because I frequently get involved with a sedentary task. Once the vibrations start I take the time to get up for quick jaunt or do some arm exercises. It truly brings to light how easily I fall into the sedentary lifestyle. This watch is a game changer. Phone calls are very clear and the caller experiences a crystal clear conversation. It moves between phone and Buds2 without pause.

I am a fan of the Gear watch but with the newer watch, why can't I get the full calendar widget, where are the apps that support watching videos from YouTube and have the sound actually coming from the watch and not a Bluetooth attachment. Why can't the old watch bands work for the new watch, I guess we are to buy new ones with each edition huh? May just trade this in when a newer watch comes out in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional The matte silver finish on the 46mm GW4 Classic is very nice looking. Idk why they made the 42mm one shiny, as I think the larger one looks so much better. The watch works flawlessly and I pretty much prefer the wear os system on here over the old tizen system. However, I do miss the old Galaxy Store way of buying watchfaces on tizen. The wear os faces have to be purchases through Google play and the process is not smooth at all. Otherwise I love everything else about the gw4.

My wife owns the Apple watch and like it; I compare them and would not go to the fruit. :). The bevel is an awesome feature. Now the reason 4 not 5 stars. I hate the Wear OS compared to Tizen, It is NOT BETTER and there are NOT more available apps. Too many cartoon watch faces. If I didn't trade in my Galaxy Watch 3, I would be wear the 3 instead of the 4.

My only negative for it is the band. It feels cheap and the little keeper loops never seem to hold the end of the strap for long. Other than that, I really like it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic watch horrible battery life i'm coming from the samsung galaxy watch where it would last a minimum of 5 days. i've had this watch all of 4 hours and went from 70% to 20%. samsung really needs to make the battery life like the original galaxy watch. other than that this is a very beautiful watch very well built i've got to say it really looks nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Galaxy Watch Yet I'm pretty happy with the Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Battery life is dependent on the watch face, moreso with the 4 than prior watches. Features, aesthetics, screen, etc. all improved otherwise. A little more optimisation would go a long way, but I recommend this over the GW3.

The watch software is very smooth and Samsung has made the ecosystem feel cohesive. My only gripe is that sometimes when the watch is "waking up" it tends to lag behind for roughly 5 seconds before it gets back to speed. Overall fantastic watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just okay The transition to Wear OS takes away from the former Galaxy watch line. Tizen OS was fine. Why break something that isn't broken? With the introduction of Wear OS, Samsung has introduced the very poor battery life associated with other Wear OS watches. Further, the watch faces available pales in comparison with what the Galaxy store offered. Another nit, why does disabling goodnight mode, turn off do not disturb on my phone???

Gets better each time!! 4/5 rating as I've noticed battery life not as long as Watch - only a slight issue - so 4.5 really - if battery can last 3-5 days I would give 10 Stars!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A smart watch that couples performance and fashion I originally ordered one and was stolen by someone along the way, big bummer but Samsung was quick to refund the order and I was able to get one in my hand. The steel design makes it feel sturdy and the bezel adds a rim around the screen to help protect the glass slightly. The watch itself is very functional and stylish, custom faces and a very soft silicone band that came with it. And I don't know why but my favorite feature of samsung watches is how you can make them tick! So much fun!

I kept taking screenshots on my Galaxy 3 by mistake cause the buttons stuck out too far. The placement of the buttons on the 4 is perfect!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great overall watch Bought the galaxy watch 4 to replace my Garmin watch. Overall this is a great watch with great features. The downsides are battery life, you cannot operate on just Android Wear OS, and you can't change the long press bottom button to launch Android pay instead of Samsung Pay (less banks supported and no longer offer MST on their phones). Also you must use all the Samsung Health features which limits watch faces you can use. Since the majority gets their information from Google Fit. You should have a choice. This was one of the biggest disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snappy OS Overall really like the GW4C. Very responsive feel, screen looks great. Very useful apps right out of the box. Samsung Health has plenty of monitoring. Steps tracking appears accurate. Sleep monitoring is another story. I have been monitoring for about a month now and have had 0 minutes of deep sleep. I find that hard to accept. I have another watch that tracks my sleep much better. Also since the latest update, ECG is almost impossible to capture. it keeps telling me to "hold still and keep your finger on the button". Guess I'm just too shaky. Anyway, I bought the watch mainly for distance tracking while walking and having wrist access to emails, texts and phone calls. I love that I can leave the phone on my desk and go anywhere in my wifi zone and still get calls/texts/alerts etc. I also really like using it for google pay. From what I read, NFC is more secure than a credit card swipe so I'll use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost everything a wearable should be I regretted purchasing my previous smartwatch, so when they issued a recall for it, I jumped at the chance to buy a Galaxy Watch4 Classic. I was not disappointed. Everything was better, from the display to the apps and features. I could only find one thing I didn't like about it, and that was the battery life. I could go days without charging my previous product, but I find myself charging the Galaxy Watch4 daily, sometimes even more than once daily. Even so, the ability to have a wide variety of watch faces on a very resolute display and to have true Android apps far outweighs that disadvantage. I am very pleased with this product overall, and I wish I'd bought a Galaxy wearable years ago. Thanks, Samsung!

I have been longing to have Android wear but did not want to lose the Samsung specific apps such as Samsung pay. I absolutely love that even tho the watch now runs Android the operation is very similar as before. Therefore, the transition was very smooth and easy. Highly recommend!

It has all the features of the Fitbit 4 Charge and plus some. I have a smaller wrist, so the band that comes with the watch, even at it's smallest, could be tighter. There is a slightly higher learning curve for the Galaxy Watch4 Classic, but you get used to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Info and functionality with a distinguished design I was never a fan of smart watches before. I was a tradionalist. I liked the look of traditional watches. It was more than a timepiece-- it was something that also talked about who you were -- a fasion statement. I never decided to to walk because of how many steps I had, etc. I had an early fit bit, but stopped using it after a couple months. Fast forward a decade and WOW. I don't have to take my phone out to pay or to answer phone calls. I can still read texts even if I don't have my phone on me. I can easily find my phone if I forgot where I put (not as much of a problem for me, but a game changer for my wife). The classic has the feel of a traditional watch with the benefits of modern tech. The health tracking is a bonus. The BMI measurement and activity tracking and the integration with daily calorie use are far more useful than "steps" alone. I even don't mind the battery that only lasts a couple days -- I charge it when I am getting ready in the morning and it goes from usually about 35% to 75% which is all I use during the day (for those who are concerned about lithium battery longevity, 25% to75% is the best operating range anyway) even with stress and Sleep monitoring/oximetry active. I only wish the interbeat heart rate variability data was available separately and not just integrated to the stress reading. That measurement was one of best at measuring cardiac heath risk and is now only becoming practical with wearables (although I do worry with all wearables that the surrogate measurements may not always be accurate in some people whether HRV or sleep)
