The UI is so much better than the Classic Frontier 3, speed, access to GoogleWear, more custom options, pretty much what I would want, but the Battery, OMG is the battery a lie. On Samsungs Website right now it says: (Run Time*** 40 Hours ***Battery time is based on our own laboratory measurements, and may vary depending on factors such as device settings, usage patterns and operating conditions.) From the moment I turned on the watch, in the settings It said on the first day on a full charge and not even connected to anything, 19hrs. Since then, the battery has improved to 21hrs. I have power save on, I turn off everything, and still. We were told this would be better and in many ways, it is. BUT it sucks when I don't know if my watch will make it through the night. Another issue with my watch is the straps, after 2-3 weeks with my new watch, the straps started to peel. I wanted to replace them but the strap I used on my Classic F3 didn't fit this one. Overall I do love this Watch. I hope they improve the battery life overtime and the straps are an easy replacement, just wish my watch was perfect out the box.

Samsung has knocked it out of the park with their newest entry in to wearables, making it more useful than ever before with more features, better software, and made it way easier to do what you wanted to.

Its not a big deal but I wish the BP lab app worked on this watch since it does have the sensors. But otherwise I love being able to use WearOS apps and the Samsung apps are great, it doesn't feel like WearOS at all, it still has the ease of use of Samsung Galaxy watches

I've used it a few times to make calls while out and about and it worked without issue. Beautiful screen that is bright and has lots of custom options!

Cons: To many to. :'-( 1) Getting Watch4 on LTE as a stand alone device AND still sync with you phone takes and act of God. After 6 techs, one at Verizon was able to recreate the profile on Verizon, have me unlink (remove name from App and Bluetooth on phone), then reset the watch to load the profile. It worked! 2) Not many apps and faces. Previous investments, lost (Gear S3). 3) None of my previous charges (Gears S3 Classic) work on Watch4. Previous investments, lost. 4) Phone calls causes Wstch4 to overheat, causing it to hang up the call and go into Emergency Mode. 5) I purchased the watch from Samsung directly. BAD IDEA!!! VERY BAD!!! I am still paying on two loans of products that were returned as requested and my promotional item is STILL not shipped (Buds Live, Bronze). Customer Service ruined the experience, lowering this review to a 2 out of 5.

First, Google Assistant still hasn't arrived and the Outlook Mail app is operationally inconsistent. Bixby is quicker and improved over the Tizen models and fine for basic functions like making a call or sending a message. In comparison to Google Assistant is remains very limited. The ability to use Wear OS apps like Google Maps, Google Pay and YouTube Music is a huge improvement. Watch graphics are smooth, quick and the design is solid and attractive. 16gb of storage is a huge improvement, too.

The watch has overheated 3 times ND paused to cool down. And I feel the battery dies relatively fast considering I use it mostly for time. Also, I'm finding it difficult to add app(ex. Whatsapp)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So yea it's lit So I've had my watch for just over a month now, and gotta say I love it. Compared to my old S3 frontier this one blows it entirely out of the water. (To be fair the S3 was almost if not 4 years old.) The UI is very clean and easy to navigate. The Samsung Health app is better than its ever been. My one and only gripe is the battery life. Maybe it's because I got the LTE version and I have no sort of battery saving options turned on. A regular day at work from 10am to 9pm/10pm will leave me with just a but over 30% left, which I'm not sure it'll be enough for it to track my sleep. I'll try and activate battery saving mode to see if theres much of a difference. Overall if you can get over the battery complaint then this is an absolute must have for any Galaxy device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade to my Galaxy Watch 3 I upgraded from my Galaxy Watch 3 and I really like the new OS and interface. Really seems like a great marriage of Tizen and Wear OS. I like that you can swipe up to get to your apps very quick. I also like that they continued with the rotating bezel, and I use that a lot. I use the stock watch face that it comes with, and have customized to my liking. It really looks high end. In my use I feel like the screen seems more vibrant that the previous version. I have noticed that the battery life is not as good as the Watch 3, as I could get almost 2 days with that watch, and about 1.5 days with this one. This is not a Samsung thing, but Google needs to catch up on the app support for their wearables. Apple is leaps and bounds ahead of Google when it comes to app support. Hopefully that will get better in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hello Wear OS! Thank you Samsung for opening up your watch platform to Google Wear OS. I used the Active 2 for a couple of years and really liked it but being forced to use strictly Samsungs app base was not enough. Bixby has never worked right on the phone or watch and soon, if not already, google assist will be available. I liked getting the jog dial back as having a screen protector and cover for the active 2 made it tough to use the jog feature. The Classic 4 is very responsive and has a great screen. The buttons are a good size and feel solid. I have a U8 Pro slide in case on mine and absolutely love it. Its big but is perfect for my wrist size. Plan on taking some time to figure out where apps are and dont expect the apps previously available to the earlier models to be on the play store. Some if not most are slowy going to come back.

I was very excited when I first heard that Samsung was launching first Android watch after years of tizen based watches. I had no complaints from Tizen it was a very refined OS but no one can beat Android. This watch is an awesome product a true smart watch with best of Android and tizen like ease of use. I really love the health features Samsung g brought this year specially BMI system which was an eye opener for me and helps me manage my active life better. I got an LTE version. Just In case if I need to step out without phone and still need to be connected. I definitely recommend this watch as this is the best Android watch in market right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Concept - Disappointing Delivery After thorough research, and with admitted partiality to Samsung, I purchased a Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic LTE 46 mm together in September 2022. The phone has lived up to the pedestal I place Samsung on. The watch, however, has not. Even when configured for optimal life and with only essential apps running, I never get more than 16 hours run time with minimal to average use. It is impossible to use the watch for complete and accurate health tracking as it requires a charge too often to allow full 24 hour cycle recording. Additionally, I am quite displeased with the need for the watch and paired phone to use the same wireless carrier, as this unnecessarily restricts carrier choice for the user. In addition, it devalues the watch as an emergency communications means as even 911 cannot be contacted unless the watch has an active wireless plan tied to the active plan on the phone. Otherwise it is a great accessory that has proven both rugged and waterproof during my use thus far. I especially find the rotating bezel useful and wish more cases for the model allowed use of the bezel when in place.

I pre-order the watch once I was able to and i have to say there are no regrets i was hoping to be able to enjoy the blood pressure monitored but sadly it cant be used in the US because of a few FDA underwriting. But other than that everhthibg else its great specially the quality and feel of the watch and how responsive it is. Again no regrets on this purchase.

Got the watches set up and after about 5 days on the phone with tech support (nothing concerning the devices themselves, just the girl who set us up in store wasn't so bright) we were finally able to use them as they were advertised. My husband has to charge his watch at least twice a day. He uses it to play music at the gym for up to 2 hours in the morning, and he says it dies before he's done with his run. About halfway through his workday he is charging it again. It looks nice, and when the girl in the T Mobile store puts you on the appropriate plan for a Samsung smartwatch (and not the Apple plan) it works great when you either don't want to carry your phone or you forget it, it is nice. But having to charge it 3 times in a 24 hour period is a bit much.

LTE overheat issues The LTE on the Galaxy watch 4 classic is unusable try to use anything that involves LTE in 5 to 10 minutes after watch will overheat and you will be locked out of your watch for a good 10 minutes this is a wide known issue as tons of people have reported it. Everything else on the watch works great when connected with Bluetooth(LTE off) hopefully they fix the LTE overheating issue with a software update if not they need to do a wide defect returns

The first one wouldn't connect to my data when away from my phone the other one the sleep app was just not working, which is one of the main reasons I bought the watch. I've had a watch 3 and I've never had any issues with it . I am so disappointed as I called Samsung technicians on the phone and not one of them could fix the issues with both issues on both watches. So I bought another watch 4 so I'm waiting patiently to see if this one works... But all in all u really love the Samsung watches they're slick nice looking comfy and when it's working it works well. I don't want to discouraged anyone from buying the watch my experience might be different from yours but it's a pretty nice watch I really really like it and I am not giving up on Samsung.

Was a bit disappointed that I was not able to bring my old watch faces over, and I am not able to add apps to the the main wheel screen, can only add the preloaded health related apps. Hopefully there will be an update to add Smart-things, or any other apps to the dial screen. Overall it has been a great device, very happy with the upgrade.

My doctor recommended it as a quick and easy EKG monitor and I have used this feature a number of times. I love having my calendar, texts, email, and phone calls so easily accessible and monitorable. I got the Watch 4 Classic 46mm. I had a little concern when ordering it that it would be too big or too heavy but that definitely is not the case. And, the size of the face makes it so easy to see my calendar, etc. I am too old now to do serious fitness training but I use the fitness features to keep track of steps and to manage walking exercise sessions. I also was concerned about battery life but it lasts all day even when checking calendar, email, etc, many times during the day. All in all, a great purchase!

Or any time that just decides that it wants to connect to my phone or to my laptop I turn it off and somehow or another it gets connected again deleted the app so that that way it won't connect but it still connects so that's the only other issues I have with it and other than that is my camera I don't know where it's at and the internet omg its so slooooowwwwww it takes forever and I have great reception even whenconnected to the wifi at home or anywhere for that matter still takes forever... And the speaker people can't hear me when I'm have it on my wrist and also when I have the Galaxy Bud lives and they also have issues hearing me with those so either way they have issues hearing me I don't know if it's me or if it's the watch or if it's I don't know what it is but other than that the watch is great I love it.

Battery lasts over 24hrs on a single charge. Love that I can use it to track my sleeping and constantly monitor my blood oxygen levels throughout the night since I have sleep apnea.

There is so much that can be done with with the Classic Version that It is unbelievable! I absolutely love my watch, and the only thing that would make it better when I add the Cellular Plan to our watches would to have the Galaxy Buds 2!

I only have two issues with it which I am hoping can be fixed. The first is overnight oxygen measurement. It give a range along with a low but it doesn't give an average. I would be great if it could also give an average. The second is not Samsung's issue but that of the FDA. I would greatly like to be able to read my blood pressure. I understand this is possible with the watch but it has been removed in the US but not in other countries. I would like to see if Samsung can convince the FDA to allow it on the watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better In Almost Every Respect I bought the Watch 4 Classic primarily because of the change from Tizen to the SamGoogle operating system and closer ties to the app store. I got what I expected, and more. The available apps are more closely integrated with my existing Android devices - this I expected. What I didn't expect was the massive improvement is performance, within apps, between screen, scrolling, etc. Also, the voice quality for calls taken or received on the watch is much better than the Watch 3 LTE. I normally buy new tech behind the bleeding edge curve, so I don't end up as an unpaid beta tester. I took a chance on Watch 4, and it far exceeded my most optimistic expectation. (Queue the happy dance). Now for the sole downside I've found - the lug size for watch band - after several years of 22 mm, Samsung went to 20 mm, so I'm out of luck with my existing aftermarket and replacement bands. It is not enough to ding a star off of the overall rating, but design does take a hit.

I never had a watch but comparing it to Apple watch my friend has it has many more features, us looks better. Everything samsung!

The battery life could be better, used to give me my O2 level, but nothing now. I have to always have fool with the watch band strap and put it back in the holders that always slide off. I really like my old Galaxy 3 better and alot cheaper.

The Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE does nearly everything my phone does but I don't have to drop what I'm doing to answer a call, read a text or e-mail, etc... It just makes my day easier. Nice looking too. Doesn't look like a cheap watch.

The battery life compared to my old galaxy watch is poor. I, as usual, upgraded the band and the cover, giving it a bulkier look and protecting it in my everyday life in construction

I have been using Samsung Smartwatches since start, I had the Samsung camera smart watches, Samsung smart watches have come a long way, below are the key features of galaxy watch 4 I like : 1. Looks stunning. 2. Rotating bezel gesture input. 3. Tizen and wear os combination. 4. Customizable. 5. Useful and sensible health features. 6. Durability is top notch. Things I don't like. 1. Battery life not up.to mark, Galaxy watch LTE had best battery life. 2. Removal of MST, this the best feature in Samsung devices which I miss now. 3. Need to more custom watch bands. Overall it's one of the best smart watches to own, I have used the first smart watch launched by Samsung, I remember it was wear OS and then later was.migrated over to tizen and now we are back again to wear OS!!!

After watching the videos that help teach u about the apps and features it is really easy to use and love the durability of the watch. I work as a maintenance Mechanic for a water plant and I'm very rough on watches and phones buy so far this watch has out lasted anything else I have had in the past. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, usually I upgraded my old watch to this one when I upgraded my phone in December of '21. Let's say, I am glad I activated it on my phone line as well. There have been many times I never recieved a phone call on my phone, but it came in on my watch. Saved me from missing a couple important calls. Aside from that, it's been a great addition to what capabilities I have available to me from all the compatible apps it has available. Even my driving has improved with its convenience.
