11 inch tablet with all the bells and whistles
Upgrading from Galaxy Tab S6 to Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 11 inch tablet is perfect anything larger is a accident waiting to happen there crazy thin. Ordered my Unicorn Beetle pro rugged for ultimate protection.

Would not recommend buying this
Before I begin, let me say that the tablet itself is great, however I would advise whoever is reading this to go with a different device because of the support experience, and better durability.
After just over a week of owning this device, It took a 2 foot fall onto a wood floor (This really shouldn’t be enough to crack an $800 tablet, but it was my fault). I had care+ on the tablet, so I didn’t panic too much, and opened a service request to send it in.
Shortly after sending it in, I got an email from the support center with the comment “back scratch”, with no other context, despite the device being MINT condition with the exception of the cracked screen upon sending it in. I didn’t think too much of it, but after a couple more days, I got an email saying the repair was canceled, again, with no other context. I waited 5 more days to see how it turned out, but there was no further correspondence. I then contacted support twice, but even the agents had no idea what was going on, and told me the device was marked as “unrepairable” - It worked perfectly fine when I sent it in. Finally, I got on a chat with someone who told me the device was in the wrong service center (???), and that I had to call the service center (which neither of us were able to find the number to), and have them ship it to the care+ service center. I’m fairly convinced that if I hadn’t contacted support all those times, they would have just kept the device. Even at the time of writing this, I STILL do not have the device, and have no idea what condition it is currently in.
I genuinely don’t understand how a simple screen repair could take this long DESPITE buying care+, or how they could possibly deem a WORKING device “unrepairable”, but I’m pretty convinced that this is the last Samsung device I’ll buy. If you are paying this much for a tablet, don't buy this.

I bought this on release. Something is corrupt with Samsung and tablet repair. I own a $1000 tablet with a crack under the glass that I am offering to pay to have repaired and they cant do it. They literally do not have the infrastructure to fix it. All they can do is sent you to u break i fix by Asurion. They wont even open a ticket.

I've had a lot of tablets and phones from Samsung. The Tab A with S pen was my first and was clearly new tech as it wasn't exactly fast when looking at PDF's and other work, but general processing and sketches were good enough for any kind of on the go things I needed to do. In fact, I still have it.
I've had various Note phones, gotten my gf Samsung phones and tablets, I currently have a Fold 3. My sister got the Tab 7 and loves it better than her dedicated drawing tablets. I was going to get the Tab 8. I caved and preordered the Tab 9.
This thing is a monster. I know it's leading tech but, I've had new phones and tablets that would take time to process or load pdfs or applications. This thing doesn't just work fast, but I'll have multiple windows of apps and work and it feels better than my gaming laptop.
I got the regular S9 because I needed something that was slim and portable and this is exactly what I wanted. I can't imagine what the larger tablets would be like but one day I might get my hands one one and review it as well.
The only gripe I can think of is it doesn't have a fingerprint reader like my Fold does and it would have been nice if it came with an anti glair or some kind of protective something for you that you could either leave on or remove.
I got the slim book cover keyboard with this, I never had this design and when I got it, I was impressed. All of it feels high quality, durable and reliable.
The dust and water proofing is another reason why I went for this. I'm on a ranch, I mean I'm outdoors and around dust and all kinds of stuff all the time. I need something that won't get damaged and I can clean off. This is exactly that.

I got this in October for school, note taking and such, and it is amazing. I am an iPhone and Apple user for the most part but the Samsung S Tabs are better than iPads in every way possible.

Good product, with a slight catch
Overall a great product, but the coating/paint scratches off easily. I've used the detachable keyboard for about 2-3 weeks into ownership of the tablet and it already sustained many scratches on the bottom where the keyboard connects. But the Tab S9 is still great, I would just have to be careful when using external products on this device.

Good upgrade from the Tab S7
To be completely honest, I was very happy with my Tab S7; but saw the great offer to upgrade to the Tab S9 while ordering a new device for my wife's birthday. Now that I've had it for a few days, I'm very glad I did the upgrade. The S9 is much faster and runs a lot smoother than the S7; the screen also seems to much clearer. I use my tablet just about every day for hours at a time; overall, I'm very happy with the S9 and would highly recommend it to anyone.
