Bright clear screen!
I've had this about a month now. It works great, is fast and smooth! The pen is nice addition that comes with it. This size is just perfect to hold in your hands as well as to use as an alternative to a laptop.

Perfect Tablet by Samsung
Perfect tablet, I've been waiting for the long time for better, fast and bundled Tablet by the Samsung with the attachable keyboard and stylus. I hope they make better camera reception which is a little weak point, otherwise it's awesome.

Nice Speaker and great screen!
I had to get a substitute for my laptop for classes and needed a product I can pack and travel easy, and this filled that spot perfectly! The included Stylus is great and even after repairing my laptop I see myself using it! I also enjoy the fingerprint scanner on the power button, it's something I wished they kept on the phones.

Where's the Samsung I remember???
What's up Samsung? Why no charger??? You would be much better off not copying Apple, but continuing your previous innovative and competitive edge! At least offer us a deep discount at time of purchase so we don't hunt down the correct charger.
Performance is slightly better than the Tab 7 I traded in and battery life is doubled. The new UI 13 is great.

Could be cheaper.
Got it 6 months ago. Only one reason to buy - good trade-in value S7 Plus tablet, which rebooted 2 times per hour. Looks good, works good. Fingerprint and face recognition sensors don't work at all.

Voice input does not in Dex mode- deal killer
I bought the Tab S8 a week ago and spent a lot of time setting it up. The phone mode drives you crazy because the app icons and widgets move all around when you turn the phone on its side, and I know you can stabilize it. But the main use of the device is not as a large phone, it's to have a working tool that can mimic a laptop, using the Samsun Dex system. The Dex works extremely well for all kinds of applications, including work email, the Microsoft Office suite, various text programs, Slack, etc., where you have to enter data. The main problem is that you can't use voice input, Samsung or preferably Google; the microphone remains greyed out on the Keyboard. However the microphone does work in Dex mode (for a specific notetaking program) AND you can use Google voice input from the keyboard when you have it in phone mode. So there is a specific conflict with using voice input on the keyboard in Dex mode. I spent hours this week trying to fix it, including uploading the latest OS, deleting the cache, etc. Then spent over an hour with a nice Samsung tech but wasn't aware of Dex mode when we began. After 1:15 on the phone, she spoke to a senior colleague who found a Reddit thread about voice input not working on Samsung Tab 7 keyboard in Dex from 2 years ago. Obviously, fixing this is not a priority for Samsung. If you plan to use the Tab S8 for serious data entry in Dex mode, which you should be able to do, the device is really behind the times in not fixing this glitch. I have had 5 generations of Galaxy smartphones and love the brand. The TabS8 would be great if they could fix this problem.

The best tablet I ever purchase
I bought it in the pre-order and it is crazy fast ,I was an s7 user and I decided to go for the s8+,and it is fast ,for multitasking I am impressed how it handled it ,Spen got a huge improve ,it feels more than a real pen ,with my samsung ecosystem it connect seamless .

Good tablet, lots of storage
I have had this tablet for about one month and it is very nice. It is super speedy, and with 256gb of storage there is tons of space for everything.

Excellent upgrade
I previously came from a samsung s6 lite. I know comparing the 2 devices wouldn't be fair since this device far out shines the s6 lite. I use this tablet every day in dex mode with the included keyboard case. Battery life is great and I am NOT using power saver mode. I have several work applications enabled while using this tablet. I actually use the included stylus every day. The stylus feels more natural compared to the s6 lite. The volume is loud and the display screen is beautiful. During my lunch break I will stream media, check emails, or shop online on my S8 tablet. The S8 tablet is a powerful devices for both business and pleasure. I love DEX mode. It has improved so much. I also love the ability to run 2 apps at once. It is sad that the wire head phone feature has been removed but that is not a deal breaker. I am glad samsung kept the SD card slot. Thanks to the improved DEX mode I find myself using this more than I do my laptop. The build quality is very nice. I highly recommend this product.
