Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Amazon Fire or iPod The Galaxy Tab 8 (128) is the perfect alternative to either the Amazon Fire or iPad. The flexibility to maneuver around the device is smooth and seemless. The ability to add a SD Micro card expands the possibilities. Where the Amazon Fire is restrained to 32 or 64 GB the Galaxy has 128 or 256 as the base GB`s. More than enough for a tablet. Where iPad continues to prohibit users from expanding capacity, the Galaxy Tab 8 has you covered. The 4GB of RAM really makes the difference in operation. The only possible drawback is the lighting. IPod may have something better, but the price of the Galaxy with all the quality functionality makes the issue moot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced my laptop! We bought this tablet as soon as it released. Being a Samsung enthusiast, I had high hopes and was really excited! This tablet definitely didn't disappoint! I haven't had a tablet for years now as I wanted to wait for Android to really catch up with productivity and the true usefulness of having a tablet vs phone/computer. I've been really impressed with what this tablet can handle so far! I mainly use it for work and keeping all of my notes/apps up and going. The multitasking has been amazing to jump back and forth between. The only thing I wish was that the S-Pen was more secure with how it docks to the tablet. I was able to overcome this with the keyboard case and storing the pen inside the case while I'm traveling, and then connecting it to the back while I have it charging at night. The battery on this has also been pretty great so far and is able to get me through a day with some pretty heavy use!

New updates from Samsung have made this a really bad tablet. The operation functions extremely slow after the new updates kick in almost as if Samsung is trying to phase this model out.

The tablet has a good amount of storage space I can have multiple big games and they run with no issues, I don't have lagging at all when I play my games. As said before I also use the tablet for drawing and I really like using the s-pen, it give me a send of control and good pressure sensitivity. Overall I really like this tablet.

It feels like a premium device and quite frankly, I can see the potential for much more, battery last for long time, I can go all day with it streaming movies, listening to music and I don't have to worry about charging it. It's commfortable to carry in your backpack not heavy at all, easy to hold able to multitask and for the price you can beat it ($145.00). I definitely recommend this device is a no brainer you won't be disappointed.

It sad that I had to review my tablet because there is no option for the z-flip 3 5g. But no one on the east coast can do this. 2 years waiting for repair centers to obtain the things needed is making think about getting a new device that is not samsung. I have been with samsung since the beginning.

I YouBoob with it, I have 3+ days of music on it, I play games on it, I manage all my email on it, I draw pictures on it, I just do oodles of stuff on it... I bluetooth it to a 200 watt 2.1 amplifier... It's almost 4 years old, and still in perfect shape... It's been in an excellent enclosure with a glass screen cover since the day I got it... It's just a work of art from Samsung... I'd buy a truckload of these if I could... 6-stars Samsung, Thank You...

Mines came with a pen which comes in handy for taking quick notes and the tablet is able to read what I write (regardless of how sloppy I write) and convert it into text. Sound quality is very good and images are clear. The only problem I have is I can't auto rotate my screen but otherwise this is a great tablet for school and streaming on the side.

Then it struggles to do a few things that it trys to do but ends up just not giving the consumer the experience I think they would want. The A8 absolutely hits it out of the park for design, display, sound and quality all for the lower price point. The display is amazing for streaming and scrolling through social media. It's vibrant and very punchy. The sound is great for media of all kinds and it has the benefit of having audio being produced out of multiple speakers. The tablet in the hand just feels like quality and durable compared to previous versions. Hands down this tablet is the best quality out of the A series in a while. Where this tablet starts to show its struggles is when you use it for any productivity. Multiple apps open task this tablet regardless of their use of the tablet CPU/Memory. Things like office apps and multiple tabs is where this tablet shows it's desire to be more of a streaming and social media usage device. The cameras are good enough for most tablet uses and dona good job at video calls. The biggest downfall of this table is the lack of Spen support. If this tablet had included this simple feature I would have given this 5 stars and had near no complaints. Don't get me wrong this device is great for what it's meant to do and does those things great at this price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung S8 tablet - Fantastic Device I'm the type of guy who likes my phones and tablets big. Well the A8 IS BIG Alright! It is fast too! The only problem, and not a problem that would discourage me from buying another, is the pen storage. I got a case that locks it in but I still lose it from time to time and the price on those isn't like a normal s-pen in my S ultra devices. The pen does write really well and help navigate the enormous screen easier than that of the phone devices so i do find myself using it all the time, where as, my phones it is just when i need to sign something. It has plenty of internal storage. I haven't really messed with the camera much because my S ultra phone has a really good camera. It would also be a bit cumbersome to take pictures with. I do want to see how it does with photo editing so photoshop will probably be the next thing that I download to run it through its paces. Bottom line, if you can afford it.... buy it. $1200 for a tablet? Yes please take my money. I plan on replacing my other 2 tablets for my kids with this model as well. I mean who likes looking at a tiny screen? The battery life is pretty good. I would give it a 9 out of 10 there. One charge lasts me a couple days. More if I turn the battery saver on. I use it pretty much all the time so that is saying something.

The S8+ is much lighter than the S7+ and the display also looks much nicer. The battery lasts all day long, but varies with usage. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase and with Samsung products, of wich we also have several Galaxy phones and will continue to buy their products. Thank you Samsung.

It has a medium number of apps installed, most related to my industry, but I have tested streaming on it in down time. Had no issues with switching apps or bogging down. Midrange in screensize, easy to find protection accessories for, good idle battery life and as long as I screen off during sleep to give the tablet a break, I have no running issues during the day.

I also use it to watch videos on YouTube and listen to music. The screen is beautiful and the tablet response is pretty fast. It has a good amount of storage on it and I really like the overall design of the tablet. The pictures it takes are okay but I never use it to take pictures anyway.

I can answer a call on my A8 tablet and even initiate text messages from it as well. Having such tight integration will all the various equipment is just Awesome! The speed is awesome, I stream all the major providers with 0 problems with this tablet. The storage is great, that was a huge problem with previous tablets. It was either movies or games, you had to pick because they wouldn't handle both, The A8 does and more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent budget friendly tablet The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a decent choice for someone on a budget who wants a tablet to do some basic stuff like shopping, stream video, browse social media, or play some basic games. It has a nice and large HD screen and it's battery will last all day long which is hard to find in this price range. I got the lower model with 32GB of internal memory thinking I'd just install an SD card which it has a slot for unlike a lot of new devices nowadays, but I wish I would have got the one with more memory because i can't really fit a lot of apps on the device, even when moving some apps to the SD card there really isn't a lot of space after the operating system and a few pictures. This isn't a flagship tablet so you won't get a 120hz display, great multitasking, snappy and responsive app switching or be able to play a graphic demanding game but you can do other things very well.

Everything is HD and Top performance I really haven't relied on a PC or Laptop in years thanks to Samsung great ideas far as features and compatibility when it comes to my tablet.

BUT.... we bought this for the long trips we were frequently making, and occasional family outings (because she is the only kid in a family of both sides full with adults & adult children. She gets bored... cries, & I don't blame her, she wants someone to play with her, but the grown-ups sure don't want to. What I LOVE about this, is the Samsung Kids! I can put a time limit on it, I lock it so she can't get out of it, & I have some learning apps. She absolutely loves it. We haven't had any issues with it. We've had it for a year now, (she's now 3) & it's a great product. She uses it once in a while only when these outings happen, & recently on a timed limit during the mornings using a learning app. It just comes so handy, that I know she's not doing stuff or watching things she's not supposed to, & she's not using it all day because of that lovely parental control time limit! If you're thinking about getting one for your child, this is the one!

The "call and text on other devices", battery life, fast charge, and RAM capabilities makes multi tasking easy while on the go. When it comes to streaming, I can easily download all apps, and watch them with no bug issues or slow opening... As for email, maybe the design of the app when I access it is not super organized compared to laptop, so will rank it as fair. But, maybe this something to be further developed by the app when it comes to Android OS vs. laptop/PC.

Stuttering when loading apps is common, which can be frustrating since competitors can provide a seamless experience.

The only thing I dislike is the connection to hold the stylus pen. It slips off too easily and I'm always afraid I will lose it. I liked the tablets where the pen slid inside the devise. The battery charges quickly and lasts throughout the day. I check my calendar and task lists and play backgammon while listening to music. The A8 has frequent security updates and Android 13 works well with the Samsung One UI 5.1 version. The screen size and quality are good for reading news and ebooks, and it's portable for shopping lists and reminders. The A8 still has the 3.5mm audio port for an alternative to Bluetooth. The Samsung A8 tablet allows me to do common computer functions while away from the computer in a device that's larger and easier to read or write on than a phone.

As a starter tablet, it has enough memory for me with an expandable 1TB micro card, it should be fine for me as an extension of my phone, also a Samsung galaxy s20 ultra. I had to install Google text & voice as the Samsung services wouldn't sync to my phone for some reason. The only other issue is no flash on the camera. Other than that it's got all the pro features. I had a credit to use on a trade in, so overall I'm happy with this purchase.

I can sync up with my Galaxy phone, and answer calls and texts on my Tab A8 while doing things on my Tab. The extra 2 inches in screen size, compared to the smaller Tab A makes a huge difference. I would definitely recommend spending a little extra for the bigger screen, more memory, and new features (phone sync). The Samsung branded book cover case is almost indestructible. I had to buy an off-brand with the last Tab A I purchased, and it didn't hold up, I had to get a new one in 6 months. I'm on my Tab A8 constantly, my average battery time is over 24 hours, and that's with constant gaming. Great little machine to have, I own 2 now. I was able to retire my Tab A models that were getting a bit long in the tooth.

Watching on YouTube specifically, I can watch videos in a nice and smooth 1080p 60 fps as long as the video itself supports it. After using the tablet most of the day, its battery life almost always lasts to the end of the day, so it's nice not having to charge it while using it. On a durability perspective, the mostly metal body keeps it intact, but with longer use I had a very, very slight bend in the tablet. It's entirely possible it was the case I was using, but it's something to keep in mind. The placement of the audio input isn't great, it took one drop and it already crumpled in, but with all the times I dropped this tablet that is the worst that has happened. Overall, it's a nice affordable tablet for everyday use and I plan on buying more products from here in the future.

I receive the electronic edition of the newspaper and it is easier to read on this tablet rather than my phone. I can watch my Directv and my streaming subscriptions when I am traveling. I switch my NBA league pass games to watch on the tv. So far no issues and I love this tablet.

To be honest when I bought this tablet my reason was to put a huge micro SD card in it to use as a mp3 player and download all my music from my stream service of choice. However it didn't take long to see the extra value in having it for steaming video games. I use it to took stuff up instead of using my 2nd screen or phone that way my phone stays charged for calls. I also use an app that's connected to my broadcast to switch scenes. 10 out on 10 would recommend

I use it to take it to work and use as a complementary resource to search for information while I'm using the work computer. It runs smoothly. The only thing I don't like that much it's the battery doesn't last more than 2 hours on a continue use, but with a good charger (I use 45w), it gets from 15% from 80% in 40min which works from me.

I can stay connected to the Internet which keeps me from having to use my phone as a hotspot. For the most part I'm very happy with how it is working out. When I was in the real estate business, I used it for analyzing sales, marketing and supporting my clients and bankers handling the preparation and closing documents. It was the Galaxie tablet that was my go to computer for running my business. There was not much that I could not do on my tablet that I could do also do on my laptop. It was much handier to carry along wherever I went.

It's more of a tablet that you watch TV on, than a tablet if you're trying to games on.

So naturally when I decided to get a tab for my son I chose A8. Love the screen size, not too heavy for my kid to handle. You can install all the apps like Netflix, prime, max etc and is great for streaming. Only one thing is the internal memory is not alot but there is extendable memory to compensate. Supports fast charging, that's a big yes. Easy connect able to your other samsung devices. Very user friendly!

Everything was great for about 9 months than randomly started giving me a weird problem and freezing the screen anytime I paused a show on ANY streaming app. I had to send it in 3 separate times because they claimed to have repaired it and it came back the same. Currently been waiting a month and a half for a refund. My phone (galaxy s10e) works great. *shrugs*

I do not use the camera. The Wi-Fi radio is fairly strong, stream from anywhere in my house. The battery life is decent, but I would have thought 7, 040 mAh battery would last longer, but is more than sufficient for my needs. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is the talk to text. I have a Samsung s21 ultra, and I'm using talk to text on it to write this review. All in all a great 10" tablet.

It works just as well as my S6 Tablet, better even. And the best part is that it is extremely affordable compared to the S versions but works just as well without a few extra features but I could live without them. The battery survives a couple days of use and it charges quickly!

The screen is the perfect size and it's easy to hold onto. The graphics are clear and the touch screen works perfectly. This is the second Galaxy tablet I've had since my dogs knocked my first one on the floor and cracked the screen. The only thing I don't like is trying to type on it because it's so wide across.

Note taking is a breeze and since I have s23 ultra I'm never without any info. Makes life and work so much easier just to know I can take this out and quickly access almost anything at once. I love this tablet. After work movies and videos are sharp and clean. No issues with any apps and I haven't found anything that remotely slowed this down. Favorite tablet ever.

I use my A8 for majority of my daily tasks at home and I use it as a smarthub to control things in my home such as: tv, lights, thermostat. Sometimes I'll also listen to music and browse the web. I find the tablet is a great device for personal entertainment. I love the screen size as well as tree memory and storage. Unfortunately from this model on you don't have an SD card that you can use as added storage. I would have preferred to have that as added storage for media of movies videos and music as well as audio books and pdf as well. Yes I did end up buying the model with higher memory but this was because I couldn't use an SD card. I like the video resolution as well as the responsive graphics. Whenever I get a tablet I always get a tempered glass protector as well as a decent case to house and provide added protection. Doing this has helped to keep my tablet in pristine condition. I do set it up to charge only up to 85%. I used to do 100% but I noticed that when this happens I can lose some life to the tablet because the tablet will begin bulging and a battery replacement is needed. I also recommend a good tablet bag to carry it in when you're traveling as well as getting an extra charger cable. Overall I do love the tablet and it's good to consider your uses and how long the tablets life is for battery and storage as it will then help you maximize your usage. Hope that is helpful for you.

I gave the tablet to my niece.

There's plenty of internal storage plus a mini SD card drive for extra storage. You also get about ten hours of battery usage before you need to charge. The only cons are charging, it takes a long time to charge and when you get down into 15% battery life, the screen gets dark.

I am a home health nurse and the A8 is so much better to use getting in and out of my travel bag. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted. I use my tablet largely for shopping, research, using Calm and Headspace, reading the news, reading on Kindle, and browsing Pinterest. (I used to use it for streaming and the only reason I stopped was because I got a very large TV that provides an incomparable experience; I never had any issues with streaming on my tablet.) Navigation is smooth and beautiful and I have the same amount of customization options on my tablet as I do on my phone. The one thing I have to really complain about is that, even after a few years with it, the predictive text still doesn't know all of my vocabulary. Words are life for me. The amount of times I've had to correct autocorrect even while writing this paragraph is ridiculous. If you're looking for something uncomplicated (like an ereader with more functionality, as I was looking for), this is perfect. When it comes time to replace my tablet, I'll stick with Samsung. Would recommend.

Well, I had originally decided to get a tablet for the benefits of mobility & simplicity (over say my laptop), yet without losing my abilities to still do all of my college schoolwork, and most other things that I use my phone for. However, unfortunately, I have learned (of course, after already having this, said, tablet) the colossally disappointing reality of my Samsung (because I HATE, with a passion, all things iPhone related - including their entire software platform & isolated interface) tablet, A8, not having the CPU power that my Samsung S10+ has, anywhere near the comparable storage (which I already knew at time of getting, but thought that it would be overcomable), and/or the software flexibility/compatibility to as fluidly install the same apps (such as Office, Adobe), eBooks, and any of the other various programs that I typically run or use. The primary reason why I got it was to basically use it the exact same as my phone (only less for communications, but all other things), but with a bigger screen. Nope, it does not fuction that well. Now, I do not want to illustrate an overall negative view of this tablets functionality capabilities. In general, it works well for a lot of things. It is just a let down that it does smoothly, fluidly handle computing all of the same things that I use my phone for (other than calls & texts). If this were to be for anyone who wants to only watch Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, listen to music than it is great!

A year ago I was given the Samsung A8 and I could not beleive the upgrades/improvements. From streaming to day to day business, I can get it all done with my Samsung. One of the features I like best is the diagnostics and security. Allowing user to be involved step by step, if desired, with the upkeep of my device. I can go from creating spreadsheets to playing games. Full package deal!

I use it for work files, play on-line games, and store my photos. The resolution image is high def, very clear. I also watch movies through downloaded apps. Over all, in my opinion, this is just as good as a lap top and more convenient to carry or store in a back pack.

I WILL NOT buy anything else because i am so pleased with all i can do with them. I love the pixels and colors. The way they are so easy to use in watching reels, you tube, playing games, social media and the storage capacity for the price of them. Take it from somebody who ypused only a flip phone for many years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection! I use my tablet for school, work, and at night before bed to relax. The thing I enjoy the most about my Samsung tablet is the size and clarity of the screen. It's great for reading books, news papers, and for streaming shows on. It is actually a better screen than my TV. I have my tablet and my Samsung Note 10+ connected to my cloud so I can share work files on either device. It is so easy. Samsung has made it so easy! My next phone will be a Samsung for sure! I'm a huge fan! Their earbuds are great too. So it the music program. I love the ease of turning them on and the phone setting everything up automatically. Like I said, Samsung is great!

I am slowly replacing my laptop with this tablet, even bought a wireless keyboard to type with for it. My only negative thoughts on it isn't samsungs fault, that's why I maintain a 5 star rating for it, it will not let me download and play diablo immortal. From what I've read it effects all of the galaxy A8s that have tried. Specifications say it should work. Even after 6 months still a no go. Boo blizzard.

Most of the things I did on my phone were easily transferred over to my tablet. The daily use is for streaming movies and shows but the more apps I would look in to, the more I realized I didn't use on my phone, for fear of overloading the phone. The Samsung apps are very user friendly and, if used correctly, are a huge mental health savior. Seeing and hearing reminders allow me to focus on what I'm doing instead of what's to come. The Galaxy Tab A8 is very light and comfortably to hold and the accessories really help the experience. And the ability to sync phone, watch and tablet is truly amazing.

In portrait mode, it's like looking at a printed page, letting me see the full impact of formatting. My digital collectibles have never looked so bright and detailed. In landscape mode, streaming movies and watching videos is a great experience. Everything else I've done has been an upgraded view of old favorites. I bought the 64GB version, and I highly recommend this tablet. Shopping for a new one, this Samsung Galaxy A8 tablet sold me quickly on it's own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product does have great features. My tablet Copies what I have on my phone. So anything I can do on my phone, I can do on my tablet. Love the bigger screen when I do zoom meetings. The bigger screen is great for checking your emails. I have even received a phone call on my tablet! Texting and messaging is wonderful, especially with the stylus. And games are fabulous, especially if you do jigsaw puzzles! The tablet is able to set alarm clocks and anything my phone does! Usually I keep the sound / notifications off my tablet, no sense hearing those sounds twice! Oh, and on the back of my tablet there's a stans that rotates 360* . Its great when watching how to videos and you need your hands free. You can take pictures with your tablet. I've probably not touched on everything you can do with your tablet, but I'm glad I have my tablet!

I stream movies on some of the more popular spots for Action/Adventure while the wife enjoys mysteries and dramas. I am amazed at the quality of the videos. Was very skeptical what I was getting for this price. Again very pleased. While watching the big screen TV i can do emails vs looking on my samsung phone. The navigation was a breeze on this tablet. When looking at our needs and how we intend to use it i feel confident we made a good choice. The camera is adequate but i will not use this if i wanted more detail. I will more than likely look at adding a bluetooth keypad and mouse which is capable with this tablet. I already added the SDmicro card of 128GB. It came with 64GB internal storage but needs demanded more. It has 4GB of Ram & no buffering issues while streaming. Good value for what i need so i ended up buying 2 A8's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a lot of tablet for only a few $$$ Galaxy tab A8 I bought it at Walmart it was the most expensive tablet I could find it was $200 at the time I believe it was almost brand new as far as release date not quite. Probably my favorite tablet that I've had I've had a quite a few tablets in previous years of my life all the ranging from all the way from you know really cheap introductory like give me key ones to well like I said the Galaxy tab A8 is probably the best one I've had although interestingly enough it wasn't the most expensive one I've ever had it's got a great screen it's got fast processors it's got Rams pretty decent little lacking sometimes gets a little laggy. Internal memory is not great, what is functional Plus it's expandable with an SD card it's Wi-Fi enabled it's got USB-C charging, it is a little slow on the charge it's not terribly slow but it's not very fast either but as far as surfing and response the screen is great and could be a little bit brighter in the daytime but it's not bad response to the touch screen is good it's pretty durable I haven't dropped mine too much at all but I have kind of dropped it a little bit it's been flung around here and there and I mean no problem so far no cracks no a couple of scuff marks but no issues that seem to be preludes to bigger problems later I believe it's water and dust rated I don't think it's proof but it is resistant to both I personally believe that I think they should be higher rated a little proof and you can get that if you pay little extra

I try to not reset the tablet cause is VERY SLOW TO TRUN ON. The camera I don't use, is really very bad, I chosed take a picture with my phone and send to tab a8. Just I says that is a basic tablet that only run a basic apps (but sometime been frozen). The screen is very look good and the battery have long life and it is nice to watch long times videos or watch stream on any platform.

I genuinely don't have to charge it for a week when I use it and that says something as when I use it it's for hours at a time and I'm reading and taking notes at the same time. While I have not figured out everything about my tablet, it's way better than the contenders, and very user friendly.

I love browsing the web because the web pages are easy to read. I believe 6 GB of RAM should have been by default, but still, the 4 GB is just enough to run my favorite games. My one issue is with connecting the controller, For some reason, it restarts the device if I do, but other than that the Tab A8 is one of the best budget tablets I've used.

It gets hot whenever I use it and whenever I charge it really hot just like my Samsung Galaxy A13 phone. And I know anytime a phone or tablet gets hot it shortens the life of the battery meaning I got to buy another tablet and phone sooner than some other products that don't have these issues. And it constantly freezes! And I constantly get an error message saying unstable internet connection even though I'm only sitting 6 ft maybe from the router that the internet comes through. I've had a Samsung TV for many many years and I like the TVs but their phones and their tablets at least the Galaxy series are not worth the money or my time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great longevity of service. I purchased my first Samsung tablet so many years ago I don't even remember. But has given great service since the day it was turned on. Down loads are fast, battery is still working great. I have worn out the cover that came with it but this is not a complaint but more of an observation regarding use. I loved my Samsung tablet so much that when I needed a new television I immediately went to Samsung Smart TV. I am retired but if I had more money to spend Samsung would get it for newer more innovative products. As far as I am concerned the number 1 manufacturer of electronics would have to go to Samsung! I love their products.

Also while using outside, the feature that adjusts the light level is super helpful for changing light conditions. The port for adding an SD card is so essential for adding extra storage capacity. Makes my tablet equal to laptop in capacity and functionality. And being lightweight and with a battery capacity to last several hours it will serve you well all day long. Know you will enjoy your Tab A8!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Big Shortcomings I decided to replace my old Tab A 8 inch for more RAM and memory. Wasn't happy with the smaller Wi-Fi nly options so went for this larger 10.5 inch. I wish I would have paid more attention that it no longer has Fingerprint Recognition and now relies on Facial (plus traditional keypad). The facial is a little finicky to operate and there is a constant reminder I have the display in a mode to light up my face (which cuts into battery life). Once I use Facial to log in, I am stuck with multiple applications (especially password manager) that used to accept simple fingerprint to open. Now I need to wake up the digital keypad and enter the pin for all of those. In addition, the commands in the Taskbar are now tiny little icons for Back, Home Screen, etc. at the very bottom of this large tablet with no apparent way to make them any larger. Plus it is going to take me three days to work through all of the miscellaneous fine tuning settings for things I don't need -- and now lacking Fingerprint and Larger Taskbar Icons that I do need..

It has been absolutely amazing. Fast, beautiful picture, amazing quality! Definitely an upgrade from the last and this one can handle his little rough hands! It's definitely been put to use and has passed by all means!! I am beyond happy to have purchased the tab A8 and will stay with this series!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reviewing the Samsung 8 tablet I use mine, mainly for digital art (drawing and painting) very easy to pick a free art program to test if you're just starting out I previously had an apple tablet and all the "red tape" you have to buy everything (for good programs) to be honest I'm surprised there isn't a web measurement program so you have to pay for more internet use. Get a Samsung there is so much to choose from I honestly thought I'd use it for a few months get bored and go back no if you're starting out use this to figure out your style and what you want to make.

The ability to actually have some apps, but to use it for mainly reading/recipes, is nice. I would highly recommend the A8 if they're looking for a low-end option for simple purposes.

The landscape screen is great whether reading while in my recliner or walking on my treadmill. Reading while walking on the treadmill makes the time fly by! I am a technology student and use my tablet to take notes in class. One of the many things I love about my tablet is how functional it is. The design of it is lightweight and compact making it easy to carry with me to class in my bag. This, along with the software/OS, is very clean and user friendly. I have everything right at my fingertips which makes it great for studying. I have some of the features available that I have on my S20 Ultra such as messaging and phone calls. I love the fact that I can transfer my notes to my phone using the Samsung Flow app. I also like the customization features, for example, that I can organize apps all in one place such as the ones I need to do my schoolwork, this makes things so much easier! I don't have many complaints and would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a simplistic device for schoolwork or even just to browse the web. I am a faithful Samsung user and am proud to say that I will continue to buy more of your products in the future!

I initially bought a tablet to watch movies, since I travel a lot, and it would be more convenient for me to watch through a larger screen than on my Galaxy S 22 ultra phone. I looked at different versions of the Samsung tablet, I wanted a very simple one, but the system was good and fast. at that time the latest were the Tab A8 and S8. I looked for about 10 minutes and decided to buy it. And I didn’t regret it. You can even insert a SIM card here. I watch a lot of movies and TV series and the quality of the screen is a big plus. The sound is simply amazing, loud. I’ve been using it for half a year and my mother asked if I liked it, I said yes, everything is great and we decided to buy it for her too. The price is not expensive, but it is of high quality. My headphones connect quickly and it's convenient. I advise everyone who wants to buy an inexpensive, but at least the most stable tablet. the program updates itself, and the system is checked every time and produces new versions, this is very convenient, you don’t have to do anything manually. I bought a case and a keyboard separately, and they connected very quickly and it’s convenient for me to study. I go to university, I see everyone has an Apple Tab, but I know it’s mineno worse.Samsung Tablet lasts longer, the batteries last me 2 days and charges even faster. It’s good that I didn’t buy a laptop, Samsung Tab best!!

My second samsung device was a tablet, which is why I am so excited about my galaxy tab 8. I can see the improvement in samsung tablets. When I recently gave up my tablet(will not mention the name) , because of very minimal use, I was not interested in purchasing another tablet. However, my need for a tablet arised. I began researching the best option. I came across a review for the galaxy tab A8 and knew that I would love this tablet. It's comes in a few nice colors, pink being my favorite color!! The camera quality is excellent in my opinion. What I love most about my samsung tablet is the durability. I do not have to worry about my tablet malfunctioning or breaking down, at least for a very long time. My smart TV still works well and functions and so does my original tablet. Samsung is the best, seriously!!

One of the best use, for me, is that I do home inspection and the pencil is a nice feature which saves time by writing notes, sketching and using my inspection app. I watch movies almost every day and display look incredible sharp and really colorful. I also use it to process my videos and does a pretty good job. I had this tablet for over a year and I haven't had any issues. I really can not find any issues with the tablet.

I do note that at times it will have trouble connecting to the internet whereas other nearby devices have no issue. When playing mobile games it does relatively well although the initial period of loading up games seem a little long. In terms of size it seems perfect. Not too large and not too small. The expandable memory is great but I wish that it was 1) easier to move things to the external storage and 2) there qe no restrictions on which apps can got to external storage especially for apps where you may download movies

The extra large screen makes it easier to see what exactly I'm typing and allows me to insert images into PDFs without the strain on my eyes. The seamless connection between my other Galaxy devices is spot on and although it's sometimes sluggish (hence the four stars), it's still fast enough to get what I need done when I need it done. Well worth the price and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a good quality tablet.

If I'm ever on my tablet and not near my phone I'm able to do everything I do on my phone with the tablet. When I stream Netflix I have great quality definition as well as great volume. I can easily connect to wifi and Bluetooth as well as cast to my chrome cast. If there was anything that I would change would be maybe better camera quality but beside that I 100% recommend.

I picked up a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse along with a stand and use it for light word processing and spreadsheets utilizing free open software and cloud services. It is a good value for both worlds, tablet browsing and laptop computing. I also purchased one for the company I work for to use for point of sale transactions. Works great along with a mobile card reader and thermal printer. Once again, a good value for what you get. I highly recommend the Tab A8.

I use it to draw and make SVGs with, but ha e to use a universal stylus pencil. It's ok but sometimes have a little lag. I know with s-pen it would be flawless!

I love the image and video quality as well as being very good with the graphics. I use it from time to time to play and I really haven't had any problems with the agility and storage capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprise gift I received my tablet as a gift! I thought it was a new book but got the surprise that floored me. I've been using my tablet to check email, social media accounts, and some after the holiday shopping! It's great you can really see the product, and get a better view at what you're interested in! However; what I really love is viewing my photos I CAN REALLY SEE THOSE FACES I LOVE! CRISP AND CLEAR AND LIFE SIZE! Almost kissable! It sure helps when I'm reading recipes; I don't need my reading glasses. Playing games is so much better. The keyboard is very easy to use and buttons are large enough mistakes don't occur! It's lightweight and so adaptable in functions. Wish I had this sooner. Perfect for the senior age group, as well as 4 year old grandchild. Thanks for putting together a great functioning product, that is quality and affordable.
