Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size, sluggish performance It works, It's a great device, just SUUUPER SLOW and laggy, sometimes to the point of being hard to use. It was this way since new, directly out of the box. Had I known it would be this slow, I would have purchased something else with more power. It's unfortunate, as the physical device size/feel is great. All said and done, I like the tablet, but I need to upgrade, the laggy-ness/sluggishness cause problems during my use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent replacement for older iPad I haven't had the long enough to give it a thorough rating, but so far it's very responsive and the size is just right. The colors are vibrant but it will go darker if not touched while reading; I need to find the setting to turn the dimming feature off. The only reason that I didn't rate it as a 5 is because the face-lock does not work for unlocking the screen after a time-out, and I would prefer not to enter my pin or password every time. It seems to lock out quickly, but I'm sure that's another setting that I need to find. This is replacing my iPad, and so far I am able to find the same applications that I have on my iPhone and iPad, although some require payment on the Google Playstore that were free on my iPhone. That is unrelated to the tablet itself, just an observation. My point is that it's been a painless transition as an Apple user.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well until.... worked well until samsung forced an update. kept popping up an update screen and only allowed me to postpone it a couple of times. then said it was going to install it. contacted samsung support and they told me once it started the update there would be a way to pause it. guess what? no such option exists. now tablet is sluggish and one of the games i play on it (really all i use it for) barely functions and is no longer playable . only had the tablet a few months and now does not work for the prime purpose i purchased. lesson learned, will be staying away from samsung products in the future. btw, also not happy with the samsung refrigerator i purchased a year or so ago. icemakers (upper and lower) keep having issues. no more samsung for me.

I went from an old Galaxy Tab S 8.4 to this, and even though its not in the Tab S class, its hands down amazing compared to what I'm coming from. It has great battery life, amazing screen as always from Samsung, and performance is on par with tablets within the price range or even some pricier ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable Tablet Wow! The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a functional and durable little tablet. It's got an 8.7" screen and is lightweight at less than 1 pound. This tablet was fast enough to handle streaming video and has enough storage (32 GB) to install all my favorite apps. Battery life is outstanding making this a great tablet for video and gaming sessions. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't recommend I have had this tablet for almost a year and have never been happy with it. It is so slow and laggy, I get too frustrated to actually use it. I have updated it but that has made no difference. I guess if I only used it for email it could be ok, but that isn't why I got it. I want to be able to use it to read textbooks online and do homework while away from my home computer. I previously had a samsung table that I loved but it finally died and I got this in replacement and am now looking to replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good things come in small sizes What I liked: sleek design, bigger and better resolution thank my phone, easy set up, great and trusted brand name , easy access to my apps, lightweight , good camera , battery did surprisingly well after the first full charge, fast charging battery too, Able to expand storage by using external memory card, And much more. The only drawback is the front camera. Not a great thing for selfies.

Its very light in weight and sleek design. Comes with preloaded games. Battery life is pretty long. It can withstand streaming videos which is a plus. Pretty cool tablet and I like it.

I also love that it has a front camera and a back camera. I also love that is comes with a durable charging cord. Setting it up is so easy too. It guides you through with ease. It runs all apps and games flawlessly. I have had tablet before that didn’t run games good, but this one runs them so good. There are also so many apps on it that are preloaded and awesome. It also picks up WiFi really well. I have had tablets before that the internet was spotty. The picture of anything on it is also awesome. The screen quality is great. I love that the screen is almost boarder to boarder. I also love how light it is and how thin it is. It is not bulky like most tablets. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality product.

I love the size of this screen, not too big and bulky in your hands but large enough for the little one to watch her cartoons on and me to operate apps and get some work done. It's a high bred of my galaxy phone and a computer in a compact tablet. I do wish it came with the pen just because I like doing creative things that it might come in handy for, but overall I have really enjoyed navigating around on this tablet. The camera is good, the battery is great, and I love the removable 32gb SD card, you can never have too much memory back up. And of course the resolution is fantastic too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dropped in hot tub, still works usually don’t write reviews, but i dropped this tablet in a hot tub while it was powered on. the bubble where on so took le about 5 seconds to locat the tablet , it shut off and i gave it a few days. didn’t put it in rice. i just tried to turn it on and it works! the screen is damaged but works fine. i am a new loyal customer of samsung. great design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not For Business Users Too Many Apps were loaded on this tablet, taking up so much space, that I cannot really utilize it for work documents the way I intended. I was able to remove a few, but not the largest apps. I could only store a few photos and 8 very important ms office docs that I use daily for my job. When attempting to access many of my files via my work SharePoint login--though those files are on my company server, it freezes really bad when I open large docs that I maintain via SharePoint. I don't know--tablets I had back in college in 2005 never had this problem at all, so I am at a loss why these devices are becoming less functional for business users. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective Products this will be my second return on my child's tablet. only purchased 5 months ago. i purchase two of these and one month ago both tablets when black, wouldn't power on. spent 3 weeks returning for them to replace both mother boards. now, one tablet has only been used for a month and the same thing happened. now i have to waste my time once again dealing with this process. i am a samsung customer for many years with tablets and phones, but this issue is not ok for two tablets to die and then another after the fix. is a refund possible to change the model that i purchased? we shall see. not happy currently.

It has a ton of preloaded apps that I already use so it makes it so much more easier to do what I want to do. I'm a huge fan of Samsung products and this tablet doesn't disappoint in design or quality. I love it more than my original fire tablet.

It was so easy to set up, and my family has all been able to use it seamlessly. I am so glad that I found this tablet. Great interface. Great graphics. Great product!! Great value and I have every intention of buying another one for my children at a later time. This is a great introduction for new tablet users. It has been incredibly life changing. Highly, highly recommend this for families and new users on Samsung or tablets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed. I bought the Samsung Galaxy tab a 7 lite. I've had it for a few months now, and I'm extremely disappointed with it. I bought this tablet to replace the Samsung tablet I bought in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy tab a. For starters it's slow, if you do a restart on the tablet it takes up to 2 minutes for it to boot up. It's glitchy, it just doesn't function very well. And since the last update, I'm lucky if my battery lasts a day. Normally my tablet would go from 100%, down to about 60%. Now once my tablet's charged at 100%, it will drop to almost 30%. And it's happened right after they did the update.

Excellent for streaming, games or just surfing the web. Galaxy tab is easy to use, good battery life and charging is very fast. Pictures, images awesome. Excellent quality, border to border screen and very light. Tab runs all apps flawlessly. I love my awesome Galaxy Tab A7 Lite silver.
