Now it doesn't work at all. I can locate the tag from my phone, but can't ring the phone by pressing the tag twice.

Its exactly what i needed. The only down side is the key ring if you want to call it that. It fell off within a few days, but still have tag. That is the only down side to the air tag. The other manufacturer's use the same type of ring.

Samsung Support email included a video which clearly shows the Smart Tag and Fold6 being opened. On receipt of that email, i logged into Support chat and was assured the matter was "personally" being taken care of. I have been a loyal Samsung customer for a great many years, across many of their product lines, but especially their phones, typically upgrading every 18 months, Now i think i need to look elsewhere

Unfortunately it doesn't distinguish between our yard and the surrounding houses. It would probably work better for traditional uses. I am thinking of adding it to my Dad's keychain. He is 81 this year and still drives and shops alone. It would add some security since he has a Samsung phone for it to track.

I have mine inside an enclosed trailer at a storage facility. There have been no location updates in 2 weeks. The reason for this is so i could verify location. Is it still there ? I guess I will have to drive 80 miles one-way to find out.

When my daughter leaves the house for school, the last location it tracks her at is the house down the street. Some days it shows that she is at school and some days it doesn't. All of the locations in between while she's on her bus ride, so not show up at all. Really disappointed in this product.

I have tried for support for smart tag before and tried for hours and no conclusion. The customer support just keeps passing you around and at last disconnecting abruptly. I am using this tag just because i have a samsung phone, and once the phone dies, it is the last samsung thing i will probably use.

Glad you made the so much easier to change the battery . the other ones would have broke a heart beat. This is definitely a much buy. I cant say too much about the battery life but it has been great.

It only works occasionally, or should I say randomly it works...idk. The SmartTag2 requires sync, and my device no longer syncs even after a factory reset. No sync beep, just silence

Not only does it constantly lose connection and show completely inaccurate locations, but even something as simple as changing the battery forces you to do a full factory reset. That means re-pairing it from scratch every single time — which is ridiculous for a “smart” tracker in 2025. The battery life is mediocre, the app is clunky, and the whole experience feels like a half-finished product. Save your money — this is not worth the headache.
