Doesn't last and not worth the money
Got 4 of smart tag plus' for my 2 small dogs (who are too old to do anything but roam the backyard) and my 2 INDOOR cats b/c one would get out for a few hours every 3 or 4 months. They were fine for the first 6 months or so, despite having to change the battery once a month...which didn't make sense to me b/c I literally had ONE pet that went outside to my backyard for potty breaks 2x a day. Then all of a sudden they just stopped working; not able to reset them, fresh batteries don't work, and my phone doesn't even find them while scanning for devices. All 4 actually disappeared from my smart things devices list overnight.
I'm on disability but my furbabies are my priority, especially since my dogs are assistance dogs and one of my cats would be an assistance animal if cats were allowed to be; ever have a cat help you regulate your breathing while having a panic attack so you stop hyperventilating? My Bella does....so taking care of them is more than just doing right by my pets b/c they've literally saved my life. So I made the investment, despite not really being able to afford it. I've been team Samsung for over 20 years; I'm talking pre smartphone, flip phone days. These tags are such a disappointment.
Baaaad look Samsung, bad, bad look. SMH.

This junk doesn't work as advertised
These are a joke! Every time I try to locate any of the 4 I bought I get an error saying there is a network error. Even made sure I had the current version of the Smart Things App and I updated the firmware in all four Smart Tags.
What is the point of having them if don't work?

The best thing ever
I never thought I would use this and thiught i wasted my money. But then the move happened me and my wife wer on an 8 hr plus drive she lost her phone and the we wer separated she pulled over and sat tight I full on panic then I remembered the smart tag 4 other phone saw it I found my wife alone and scared but I found her 48 miles away she said she won't ever go out without it it saved us thank you samsung

AR DOES NOT WORK WITH ZFLIP3
despite having the latest and greatest, the smarttag + variant is not worth it if you have a z flip 3. just get the regular one, for some reason this $1000 phone does not support other samsung premium products.

Worst product ever
i have two of this smarttags. one is the regular and the other is the plus. battery life on the regular one is awesome. got it with my s21 and decided to try the plus. what a piece of crap!! battery life is terrible. had changed the battery on the first one twice while in the plus in less than a year 5 times already. yesterday replaced the battery on it and last for less than 24 hrs!! don't waste your money on it.

i would always loose my keys and wallet, however, when these came out, i went kind of mental and bought 5. smart-tags are relatively light, and small enough that they dont get in the way. i even have one just for my bike, which i taped underneath the bike seat. my only complaint is the battery meter. after a year of use, my smart tag was showing that my battery was between 16-100%, and it just suddenly died. i replaced the battery and it was back in action.

Very helpful
i have had no issues with my smarttag+ and i would recommend it based upon my experience. it has come in handy to find my keys when i misplaced them. the battery did not last as long as i thought it would but not a problem.

wow i wish id read the reviews before purchasing this tag. ive only had this one 2 months and it has a low battery. i have a regular one and battery is great.

Poor battery life. Customer Support is even worse.
i bought this in december of 2021. in mid-february of 2022 i got a low battery warning. i put in a new battery and got another low battery warning a week later without having done anything other than carrying it on my keychain. i bought brand new batteries and got another low battery warning a week later. i tried going to the samsung support site and they don't even recognize that they make this product. because of that, the automated chat system won't let you talk to anyone. overall, a very bad experience for what would have otherwise been a great product.

Not worth the cost if you have the zflip3
the ar tracking does not work if you have the zflip 3 despite being one of there top phones. not sure why a $1000 phone does not have this feature unlocked. if your looking at this product id recommend saving your money and getting the non + variant as it does the exact same thing

Worked for the first few weeks.
worked for the first couple of weeks. bought this item at the beginning of august and had it all linked up and working. played with it to test the features a few times in the beginning.
it's now four weeks later and the device is totally bricked. makes not beeps, won't reset as far as i can tell. replacing the battery does nothing.
have now been waiting 10 minutes for a bot to connect me to a 'samsung care pro' in the chat support section.
would not buy again.

Worthless battery life.
i've tried 4 brands of battery. nothing lasts longer than a week. a fresh battery is typically low in 3 to 4 days, locking out the ar locating functions of the tag and making this product useless.
frustrating and disappointing. this device should never have been released in this state.

Perfect
i read a few reviews about the battery life on this product and i decided to share mine.
i bought 2 smart tag+ back in june or july 2021
one for my keys and the other one for my husband's truck (just in case)
i have never used the "ar findings" i use the regular smart things app. my battery died on january 2022. i'd change the battery every 5 or 6 months, and i always lose my keys and use the tag's alarm.
the location is always accurate.
i recommend this product 100%

Worked Fine for a few weeks
i bought a 2 pack one for my dog and one for my keys. the keys battery died pretty much instantly but my dog's tags battery has been going no problem for a while. i tried to replace the battery on my keys and the device was totally broken, it would not reset or turn on again. i contacted support and they basically told me there is nothing they can do since the smarttag+ for my keys was made in the uk. there was nothing i could do as the model was a us model and the uk samsung wouldn't recognize it either. so beware that you have a chance your 30$ will be wasted on a useless little square. i personally would wait until they update these and not buy this generation of smarttags+.
