Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed with the screen durability I've had my Galaxy S26 for about a month, and the screen already has noticeable scratches. This is really disappointing because I never had this issue with my older Samsung phones. I take reasonable care of my phone, so I didn't expect to see scratches this soon on a new premium device. The phone itself has been good, but the screen durability has been a major disappointment. I expected the display to hold up better with normal everyday use. Other than that, it performs as well as it should, and AI integration is almost unavoidable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camera is unimpressive, otherwise good It's a good device but with every new version of the S series, I find I am more and more disappointed with the camera. I unfortunately had to switch out my S21 due to the battery swelling, and while the two devices run similarly, there is a noticeable difference in the quality of the camera. The S21 camera captured colors the way the naked eye sees them — this camera mutes them so much it's barely worth the shot. The S22 camera was worse than the 21 but still better than the 26. It's disappointing for the price. I couldn't care less about having AI on my phone, bring back a good camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent phone The quality of the phone has increased into a feature full experience. Coming from the s22 its a major upgrade in every way. The battery life has gotten much better than the s22 as well. With it lasting way longer than the barely 4 hour battery life do to the poorer performing chip I only wish that the USA had the option of getting the exynos chip instead of snapdragon the display is alright at best but it's nowhere near bad. It's a nice everyday phone that can do everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a LOYAL Samsung user, I HATE this phone! I recently switched from an S24 to S26 and have had every Galaxy phone ever made. Half the time I don't get notifications and changing the app notifications is NEARLY impossible! Going back to Xfinity and either going back to my old phone or going to try the S25. Cannot run a business with a phone where notifications don't work which includes - voicemail, texts, and notifications from apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an upgrade! Coming from an s9 I've been using for over a decade. The s26 is absurdly fast, Like this thing is POWER. And the battery life is incredible. Having 60fps up from 30 is a world of difference with the camera options, as well as dishes usage on the display, especially with animated wallpapers and apps utilizing phone optimization. The color fidelity on this phone is on point, I can't believe how far we've come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AI & Processing, But poor Battery Life The Samsung Galaxy S26 base model is a impressive phone, and the smart AI features is improved over the years but it doesn't make sense to put a high-end processor in a phone with small battery life, and it persistently overheats but with minor heating which is good, and it is a solid phone overall, but it feels like a minor upgrade that closely mirrors recent generations. The biggest improvements are the processing speed, and AI capabilities, which offer a major performance leap over previous models, and the display is decent, and clear with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate though it remains essentially the same as last year, and however, day-to-day use is heavily undercut by the battery life, High-demand gaming, which cause the battery to drain rapidly, and the device quickly runs warm under pressure. This makes a phone cooler fan almost always recommended to keep thermals cool, and while the 25W charging speed feels slow when you are constantly needing to top it up its not a serious issue because the phone is going to get charged regardless but if your going on long periods without a charger or without a outlet its unfortunately it won't last long unless your using power saving mode but even then that doesn't do much, and the durability is great especially from the past recent years. And like again with the cameras the same 50MP, 12MP, and 10MP as recent years which is incredibly frustrating because its not really a major improvement.
