Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with forced change After almost 4 years, my Note 20 started giving warnings that it was ready to break up (suspiciously after an upgrade). I greatly enjoy my S25. It continues with the features of my Note 20 (minus the pen) and goes further. My favorite is the camera feature. As a teacher, I'm able to capture information from PDs, PLCs and various other meetings without having to write notes. I'm also able to easily get to my docs. Then I love the ease of sending messages to my fellow teachers with not just your regular text but also pics, voice messages and videos. However the organization in my messages is not as user friendly as in the past. The battery life is great but the charge feature is a little wonky. Sometimes it will initially recognize my charger and then a few minutes later not. This is concerning since I use a Samsung charger. I loved the ease in transitioning my apps and preferences to the new phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A High Quality Upgrade I traded in my old Galaxy Note 9 for this phone, and its been nothing but incredible. From the fast speeds, to the impressive battery life and bigger storage; I've found this phone to be great investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No SD Card or Headphone Jack. In general, this is a fairly decent phone. However, there are some 'new' features which are pointlessly enraging. I've had multiple phones in the past, but this is the FIRST to decide to omit the SD card slot. I've had to clear out storage every few months, which is a major time sink, and I don't want to have to clear apps that I enjoy or need, or relocate or get rid of photos that I cherish. I've never had the video recording time limit, except for this phone. Yes, there is Google Drive and OneDrive, but I don't want to put all of my information in Google, which is getting less tolerable and trustworthy by the day, and OneDrive is going to be difficult to navigate since I don't typically use Microsoft software. There are storage apps which are wholly unintuitive and do not work. DropBox has a ridiculous limit. I've even tried putting everything on a flashdrive, but I don't like how inconvenient it is to fish for a flash drive just to see a photo of my wife from a year ago, plus it disorganized my photos' time stamps, so they're all out of order now, so flashdrives aren't a reliable solution for this either. SD cards are imperative to the ability of the phone's owner to be able to keep all of their information and storage local and comfortably accessible. What is less new yet still as frustrating is the abandoning of the headphone jack. Headphone jacks meant you only ever had to carry around a single pair of earbuds, not a bulky case for your phone and a normal pair for literally everything else. It also meant we didn't have no choice but to deal with trying to connect to bluetooth and somehow accidentally streaming sound to a TV and then disconnecting and reconnecting and etc etc etc. Headphone jacks were simple, easy, reliable, and intuitive. This... simply put, is just not. And I do know that there are splitters that can be connected to the phone to lead to a charging port and headphone jack, but I've had to go through 3 of those with my past phone and they never worked. I will admit that I never tried that with this phone, however, phones are already so expensive, and this is just adding more expenses on top of that, for something that could have easily been added onto the phone itself. This is a smaller perk of headphone jacks, but I know having charms connected to headphone jacks was quite popular before this forced transition away from headphone jacks entirely. While I never had any, I know it was rather popular and they did look nice and add a personal touch to a person's phone. Now, I am aware that your excuse for getting rid of these crucial features on phones is that it helps make the phones more waterproof. I, personally, have never heard of anyone's phone being damaged because they got water *in the headphone jack*. The charging port? Certainly. Dropping the entire phone in water? Again, not uncommon. But the advice is always to get the water out of the charging port. Headphone jacks were never a waterproofing issue, and if they were, I'm sure it was barely noticed, as it was completely a non-issue for every single person I've known. It may be an issue in manufacturing, however, it has been a very easily solvable issue ever since phones had headphone jacks. The SD card slots were also so tight and so small that, again, it seems nearly impossible to get water in there, especially to a harmful extent, and especially without first damaging the much more damagable charging port. Also, there is still a hole for the microphone at the bottom of the phone! Water could surely much more easily get in there than an SD card slot, and it doesn't seem like much of a waterproofing upgrade when the headphone jack was, again, not much of a problem. At least give users the option to opt for bluetooth and wireless or to stick to the reliable earbuds. And the lack of an SD card has really been killing me. There have been plenty of people complaining about the lack of headphone jacks and SD cards, but I haven't seen one person here claim that it's a brilliant idea and makes everything so much easier. Even so, I'm sure you would make more money and happy customers if you allowed for a choice. Even with a separate phone which is exactly the same but includes the headphone jack and SD card slot, so that you don't have to include them for those who don't want them (because, let's be honest, money is the real reason why the headphone jack and SD card have been forgone), but at least those who do need them are more likely to continue to purchase from Samsung rather than seeking alternatives, which do include a headphone jack and SD card slot, elsewhere. I loved having physical components to phones. They were easy and intuitive. This, again, is just not. I also don't like AI being everywhere. I managed to turn most of it off, but it's still taking up space in my phone. I know many people think that it's a "step into the future," but at least, again, make it optional. I truly hate AI, and I know many people disagree, but plenty of people also do agree with me that AI does not belong on their phones. Even with the "AI Topics" on this review screen — why should I have an AI telling me what to say in my review of a product! It doesn't know my gripes or What I enjoy about the product. And it's a harmful waste of energy. Other than the obvious complaints, the phone seems to be a fairly decent standard phone. Nothing unordinarily positive and notable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good option but can't wait to upgrade I recently upgraded to the Samsung S25 from the S24, and I have to say, my feelings are mixed. Starting with the design – the phone definitely feels thicker in the hand compared to the S24. I really liked the sleek and slim feel of the S24, and the S25 loses a bit of that charm. The screen is slightly larger, which might be a plus for some, but for me, it just made the phone feel bulkier overall. One thing that caught me off guard was the camera lenses. They feel a little awkward – maybe it's the size or placement, but they don’t feel quite right when handling the phone. Battery life has been a real disappointment. I expected more from a new flagship, but it barely gets me through the day with moderate use. On the plus side, the display is absolutely stunning. It's noticeably improved from the S24 – super bright, crisp, and great for watching videos or gaming. Samsung always nails the screen quality, and this is no exception. Overall, the S25 has its strengths, but for me, it’s a step sideways rather than forward – especially if you were a fan of the slim and comfortable design of the S24.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy S25 is awesome, Samsung delivers once again I have been using Samsung phones for many years now, the S25 replaced my Galaxy S10, which is technically still running fine, but I needed to update it to meet security requirements at work. The S10 performed flawlessly for me year after year, and now my S25 is looking just the same in reliability and performance, of course, there are some improved features such as the processor and camera, to name a few.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade I trade up every two years, so I wasn't sure how different the S25+ would be to the S23. The difference isn't that noticeable, but it is a great device. The clarity is the first thing I noticed, and find it to be a cool, smooth operating phone. Very happy with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why mess with it? Messaging app has "new and improved" features. I just want to have a quick link to my favorites which is no longer at the top of recents. The " tiny" battery life percentage icon in the top left is not adjustable for size and the font is uncolored and left clear which renders it unreadable with light backgrounds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good, one glitch Phone is an emergency replacement for an S10 that had a swollen battery, separating the back off the phone. The S25 arrived in two days and I registered it with T-Mobile. Smart Switch was used to transfer apps and data from the S10.Everything appeared to work after authenticating each app except Outlook would not authenticate. Neither Samsung or T-Mobile support was able to resolve this. The S25 is thicker than the S10 and does not allow storage expansion with Micro-SD cards like the S10 did. The Galaxy automatically installs too many updates/apps. I had trouble determining which can be removed or disabled. They should give you a "Strictly Necessary" option (like websites do for cookies). Battery life seems better than S10, but maybe that's because the S10 was failing over time. Don't care for the AI and Gemini scattered throughout and regularly offering to insert themselves into my activity. Would like all that disabled and will continue searching for how to minimize the "crap apps" and "features" on the phone. Overall the S25 seems like a good replacement and I hope to get many years of use from it.
