Also same time I just finished paying off the phone. Got lots of software updates. One too many in such a short time period since having paid off the phone. My carrier is T Mobile.

I have used other brands in the past (LG, Motorola, ect), have used older Samsung phones and Samsung is by far my favorite. The features are great. Memory is good (so far) and the photos are much nicer than any other model. The battery seems to last all day with basic usage. I love my phone!

I like the phone and it is functioning great. I takes nice pictures and programs run fast. Size is perfect and screen is excellent. I actually got one made in January 2023.

(Wonder who thought THAT idea would generate some $! ??) Upgrades & new features are difficult to use & disappointing. Really dislike Bixby feature. So I'll have to put up with this till next change.

Let's start by just appreciating that Samsung one UI has made me love thier phones since 2018, that's when I got my first mid range phone from Samsung Galaxy M30s and when I moved to a new country in 2022 it was a necessity to upgrade to a new phone. So I never had a doubt in my mind and I did anyways choose Samsung Galaxy series phone over anything else even though this country is obsessed over iOS devices (aka Apple). And when it came to the phone I ended up getting was the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE it's an all-rounder flagship for not so flagship price! What I use the most in Samsung Galaxy is the seamless software integration with windows 11 devices, ease of transferring file without proprietary apps like iTunes (I know the pain, former iPhone user! And see my current iPhone user struggle still in my household). So this device is a good balance of everything that has a flagship processor and removing flagship gimmick like full glass build ("Because glass is glass! So, Glass breaks!" Said a wise person ;-) So summary who would like this phone will be anyone who loves value for money and people who realize all glitter are not gold! Because S21 FE does cost like a gold bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Decision!!!! OMG!!!! I wish I would have kept my S21 ULTRA instead of trading it for the Z Flip4. I thought I was making a great decision... I was so wrong. I hate the line that runs across where the phone folds. Today leaving the gym, the folded phone fell out of my pocket. I picked it up and put it in my bag only to find out, once I was home, that it wouldn't open all the way. The case was fine, the phone looked fine, but everything wasn't fine. It has been less than 2 months and these problems have occurred already! I just read that this is an issue with this phone due to some unnecessary changes made with the hinges. I made a really terrible decision with this phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing device I've had my s21 fe for a while at this point I'm kinda disappointed to know no new fe phones will ever be made personally the no glass backing is a great thing to me it makes the phone more durable as the back can't shatter and the pricing on the phone with it being the same as the s21 internally and still bring cheaper is great even came with a slightly bigger screen then the s21 personal I have no complaints about the phone it's been amazing of course the operating system has issues every now agian but can blame that on the phone its just android getting overwhelmed when too much data builds up then just have to power off the device and turn it back on due to android needing some ram to store data so any phone needs a power off to clear the data build up and go back to normal it runs anything really smooth with another issues from the device itself unless it's a compatibility issue with an app but that's agian a issue with any phone sometimes the cpu and gpu are still a pretty high quality even still with new phones coming out the screen is crystal clear and a high resolution with the phone itself still getting new features and security updates the speakers are clear and fairly loud the wifi connection is perfect I would recommend anyone wanting a expensive phone but not looking to spend too much to get this phone it's all around good even with it being a little old I would love more fe phones to come out if one ever did I'd probably upgrade my phone right away I just can't imagine this phone breaking down until it has many years of use on it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery drains fast I bought the lavendar color and the battery drains pretty fast. once it was fully charged I would use the phone and within 2 minutes the battery would be at 98% I called up Verizon and they sent me a replacement in the graphite color and it's the same thing with the battery. I thought this phone would be better than my Samsung A32 at least that battery held a good charge. and with this Samsung S21 FE 5G I can't use my earphones, and I can't use my earphones when the phone is charging. it really sucks. these phone companies charge a lot for these phones with batteries that drain pretty fast, sometimes I feel like going back to a regular flip phone.

By time it was a year old the Bluetooth doesn't work, the wifi won't work, and I even have trouble loading the internet when I have full bars of service. This is one of the worse phones I've ever had. My phone isn't even damaged. It has no cracks and it's been kept in a phone case it's whole life. It should have lasted at least a year so I'm really rethinking even getting another Samsung phone. Do not buy this phone!

Yes it's an older phone, but it's a lot cheaper than the newer phones and still can run as fast as well. It has a stylish design if you are minimalist person. The phone worked great for a little more than a year and then exactly when is out of warranty the Wi-Fi failed, this never happened with any of my Samsung phones before. I took it to two different Samsung authorized repair shops and both declined to service the phone, first place said that they didn't have the right tools and second that Samsung didn't provide the parts. Very disappointed, I have owned Galaxies since the S7 but I will never buy another of their phones again.

It is fast, not too big, the screen is beautiful to look at, and the Samsung UI has a lot of features that I like (this is my first Samsung smart phone). It has won me over to the Samsung brand. I now also own a Galaxy tablet and smartwatch.

There is no "Restart the phone" button...and sometimes holding down the main button doesn't give me the option to turn off the phone. Not a good phone here!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Can't Go Wrong! I got this phone in June. I upgraded from a S20 FE. It's definitely an upgrade. I live in Texas. It's sunny almost every day. I can now see my phone in direct sunlight. Very important. The screen is gorilla glass victus, also an upgrade. This device fits me perfectly. I get good performance, which is #1 on the list. Battery life (#3 on the list) takes a hit compared to the S20 FE, but that's expected. You get some great features like wireless and reverse charging, waterproofing, and exceptional screen without shelling out $1000. The back of the phone is plastic. Not an issue for me. I always use a case anyways. Would I buy this phone at full price? No. But then again I never buy phones at full retail. $400 is a fare price since this device was launched earlier this year at $700. I got it for $136 with trade-in back in June. Can't beat that. The competition is fierce in this price range. Samsung gives more in trade-in than anyone else. But I stay in my budget. Can't afford the flips and ultras. This device for mid-range Techys like myself who can't quite afford the higher-end devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy with this Device I absolutely love this phone. It works great, it seems to me that it's gonna stay working for long time, software and hardware wise. The only things I dislike are the screen fingerprint scanner. It doesn't seem to work 100% of the time. The other thing, which is my biggest dislike, is that it doesn't have an Iris Scanner like the Galaxy S9 did. I think that was the honestly the BEST feature. It worked 100% of the time, in daylight or the dark. I wear gloves, masks and other headgear for work, so being able to hold the phone up to my eye to unlock it was amazing. Other than those 2 things, the S21 battery is pretty good, it lasts me a full day even with continuous use. Though sometimes it does die very quickly and I won't even be using it, which is an every now and then thing. The waterproofing has held up 100%, and I use this thing in the water a lot. I also wash it everyday with soap and cold water. The cameras are excellent and the quality of the screen and the pictures are stunning. Pictures can be blown up on bigger screens and still be crystal clear. I love this phone. I'm glad I pre-ordered it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent - Has the features that count! I've had mine only a week, and so far I love it. I traded in my 4 year old S9+, which I also loved, but only because the battery was getting weak. I thought of replacing its battery for $100, but I just couldn't refuse the deal Samsung is currently offering for a brand new S21 FE 5g. The S21 FE is exactly the same physical size as my old S9+ and both fit my hand perfectly, but somehow the FE has almost a quarter inch larger screen primarily at the top of the display. The SD865 CPU is plenty powerful, the 4500 mAh battery is a big plus, especially for me, and the guaranteed 4 years of OS support is unbeatable. I considered getting the S22 for only $100 more, but it had a slightly smaller battery and less screen real estate, so the S21 FE with 5g was the right phone for me at the perfect trade-in price. Its only shortcoming (to me) is the lack of SD Card expansion storage, but with 128 GB to start, there are plenty of ways to get around that these days. The plastic back is no issue since I always use a well-made, attractive case to protect my phones, and I've never cracked a phone screen anyway. (Watch - I probably just jinxed myself.) Overall, it's a very attractive phone with a beautiful display, excellent battery life and processing power, 5g connectivity, the perfect size for my hand, excellent triplet rear camera setup and 4 years of OS support. For almost 60% off its list price (with an extra Samsung coupon), how could I refuse this offer from Samsung? Unless you absolutely must have the S-Pen and/or the S22 Ultra, this S21 FE 5g is like an offer from Vito Corleone "that you just can't refuse".

I think it's just strange having to run the side of a hand over the screen. It's hard when arthritis doesn't allow your hand to straighten. Obviously my problem, not the phones!

Besides the build quality the phone worked exactly as expected and had few issues from a software standpoint. I would recommend spending extra to get the S22 or pass on Samsung.

Had it about a month when a routine software update caused icon badges to disappear. 2 calls and 3 hours with customer service led to sending the phone back to be reflashed. Also, first time I tried to take pictures, the camera failed. When the S21FE works, it's a pretty good phone, lots of great features, but comes with issues too.

The only thing that keeps this phone from being perfect for me is the lack of an SD card slot. Everything that a phone is supposed to do this thing excels at. There are to many to list here. I've had over the years just about every brand phone there is and I always end up coming back to samsung. Please Samsung, if you make an S-22 FE next year, please include a SD card reader. That is the only thing missing in this phone to making it absolutely perfect for me.

I bought this like a month ago after having to trade in my s10e and s9 because the s10e doesnt support 5g and I couldn't make calls. Like that phone a lot. But anyway this phone does everything that does but within a month had bad pixels on the right side of the screen. Not worth the money with the bad quality control. I am now on my s8 because they took my other 2 phones as a trade in. And had to send that back for repair. Plus no more headphone jack or sd slot so if you take a lot of pictures gotta pay onedrive every month to store them in a lousy cloud. But took nice pictures

Only one of these times can be viewed as my fault. Twice now the phone screen has cracked from mild pressure in my pocket. With a case! This phones glass screen is not impressive in any way. It is so bad I almost caved and switched to iphone...

I have had my telephone for about a month and I still keep finding things that I didn't realize that I had! This is my first Samsung and I have certainly found the quality and quantity in this product that one looks for when making a purchase. I will certianly go to Samsung for any future telephone needs and wants.

Called and the last in customer care said the reader had to be bad, so I sent it back. Coworker got the same phone and same problem. Sim card reader. So I'm guessing you guys are having a problem with this in these phones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slowly loosing my trust on Samsung I am a Samsung user for years now and last year I bought S21 Ultra and was very excited about the phone. In the beginning after buying the phone for 2 months, I started seeing some screen jitters which were not persistent and went away. So, I did not complaint about it. Last week , the screen started showing some green lines and then went all black after 2 hours. It was working and all but nothing on screen. When I reached out to local UBREAKIFIX support center they said, they can't work on this color(being premium) and it needs to be sent to Samsung repair. He also removed my phone's screen guard while checking the phone. I was frustrated that I kept my phone so well for the year of my use and it just went black just like that. On sending the phone to Samsung support, they sent me a bill of $215 to replace the screen. I am so upset with this because I never did anything wrong with the phone but I am being charged for something which seems to be manufacturing defect.

I had read other reviews that were not as positive about this phone as I had hoped. But I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a new phone. For me a phone is a basic communication instrument and a quick and easy way to look things up on the internet. I don't stream movies or other video for the most part so I probably don't use this phones capabilities but I still recommend it.

I have to have a device where I can view the screen outdoors. The S21 FE corrected that for me. Other than that the big con is no sd card slot. I've only had this phone for two days. I've had my share of Samsung phones. I got this under $150 with trade-in. Can't beat that.

I've never had a phone that I can take off the charger before going to bed, wake up and go all day without ever needing to plug-in. It just keeps going and going..

I also have this laptop Galaxy book pro 360. Mobile and laptop compatibility is good . I can connect mobile to laptop using Microsoft phone link app, ssmsung dex etc. Phone link app - i can see messages, calls, photos , apps from phone. samsung dex - i can see apps from phone on laptop. overall fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I bought this phone a month ago. My previous phone was S10e. Definitely an upgrade in almost every category. Before I purchased this phone I did my research on various phones and came to a conclusion that this is the one for me. Many people complained about the plastic back but honestly how many people use their phone as it is without a case anyway so the plastic finish didn't bother me at all as Samsung did it to keep the cost down. the resolution is full HD and looks crisp and vivid. the refresh rate is 120Hz. so when you scroll up and down it's much smoother than 60Hz. it will drain your battery faster though but you can go to Display settings and change it to 60Hz if you want. On my S10e the scanner was a side-mounted button and it worked great. I was a little worried about the on-screen fingerprint scan at first but it works well too. I recommend you to pay a little more and get a 256g version because this device doesn't come with an expansion slot for more memory and the 256g version has 8GB RAM vs 6GB in the 128g version. So it's better for multitasking.

Switched over from my iPhone 13 because I liked the UI multitasking and the light and minimal feeling of this phone after playing with a store demo. This phone feels light and refined on the hand. It has a gorgeous screen with colors that come at out at you. The finger print sensor is a great and perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I prefer it over face authentication. Overall this is a great solid phone with a sleek feel.

I just purchased this phone from Boost mobile, I wonder if they get the bad units or the unit that sort of may have an issue not sure, this unit has locked up a couple of times already, Not doing much on it, like playing games, or watching videos, as it is a test phone testing out the new Boost service, (not so great in the Tampa bay area) I really should have gotten another test phone as I have a S20 fe for my daily driver, and it is just okay, I hate all the extra Samsung bloat ware, and apps that I don't even want and you can't remove, the Samsung commercials and adds that pop up, are a pain. Ready to go back to my Blu G90t Pro, just no bloat wear, no issues with apps, no advertisements, Plain Android, Listen Samsung, give us the consumer great hardware, but give us a clean version of android, no bloatware, no Samsung apps, No advertisements, no software that wants to save my password, or sell my data to a 3rd party, and lessen the price, as you don't have to pay the dev from creating that bad Samsung skin and software I will never buy another unit until Samsung does or Samsung anything. as I have wasted enough of my hard earned money on your Products, for just a okay phone, hate to see how your smarts TV are the same just okay and over priced.

Snapchat takes better quality without filters than this camera does. Other than that I love everything about this phone. It doesn't have a space for a memory card but I have the cloud so it doesn't bother me.

I loved the features on the old J7 and did not want to trade it but I wanted the newer features and it was time. I opted for the S21 FE 5G over the flip due to the difference in price and have not been disappointed overall. The battery life is good when compared to most current electronics and I bring my charger with me if I plan on using the phone often. I do not like cloud storage because I don't know who runs the cloud, and I like to know who has my data. It is a great buy EXCEPT for the fact that I could not use my old earphones due to a missing earjack port so I had to go and buy some pricey ear buds for the new phone. :( Please bring back the earjack port, Samsung.

I've had both hardware and software issues including loss of icon badges, camera failures, need for reflash, nonresponsive screen, jumping out of apps while they are in use, and several others. All annoying. Wish I had time and money to get it replaced with a different model.

If Samsung doesn't add back the microsd card slot for their top of the line phone, then I'll have to start looking elsewhere for a better Brand of android phone.

The Samsung message app need a major update, iMessage is great but I’m sure Samsung can do better than iMessage, I can’t wait for that day. Maybe send an update for the new messaging app on the s22. Also can we make sure snap is compatible with Samsung camera so pictures and video from snap can have better quality. Samsung have always been my favorite phones, I just would like to see these updates and I’m sure that would bring a lot of apple users to Samsung

I dropped my Galaxy S21 in a lake; the water was too murky to see where the phone was and too cold to go diving for it. Two weeks later I returned, the water had cleared, and I could see it at the bottom of 3 feet of water. My husband dragged it out with a pole and we let it dry. Just for fun I plugged it in to see what would happen. Not only did it fully charge, it turned on and works! I had already replaced the phone, but I was able to transfer all of my information. Most importantly, I was able to transfer 1.5 years worth of pictures I never backed up--including pictures from our vacation in Hawaii. I am AMAZED, and I don't say that lightly.

I closed all the apps that weren't necessary and were working in the background and nothing changed. I wish I would've kept my old phone and not bought this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cameras are amazing I've had mine for 3 weeks and well needless to say Im writing this review on my new pixel 6 that I received yesterday.Kinda seems like they put little to no effort into the S21,drops calls all the time, doesn't stay connected to wifi, takes forever to connect to ring door bell, all 3 buttons are on the opposite side now, no power button anymore, kinda bulky w/ a case on, resolution not as good and the sound adjustments/eq are as week as it gets..IDK I guess I just expected it to be an upgrade but was quite the opposite. Not to mention its kinda ugly Wrong Way

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Enough I was debating switching from the s20 fe to the s21 fe which obviously I made the switch. The phone itself is not the same size as the s20 one (imo) the good feature about this newer version is the camera upgrade & can easily fit into my pant pocket. The battery life is still meh like the s20 fe, but it is a flagship phone after all but it runs much better & again the camera quality after playing with it for a good couple hours is way better. Also I do enjoy that the body frame is a little more thicker but light weight which is nice. Overall great little phone without breaking the bank, but just know it's not going to be like the more expensive ones with all the bells & whistles lol. I got mine in white & it's actually pretty yet simple...overall happy with my purchase on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor battery, disappointing pics, etc. I upgraded from my s9 because I was charging my battery two or three times a day only to find that I need to charge my s21 FE 1 and 1/2 times a day. My wife and colleagues have Apple phones and after more use, watching video after video, they have 20%-30% more battery life at the end of the day than I do NOT watching videos, or playing battery draining games. What gives? Also, picture quality isn't as good as I expected. Took some pictures at a convention in low lighting (not really, really dark) and pictures came out grainy. I can't believe im saying this but My s9 took much better pictures in that kind of lighting. Otherwise it's a solid phone with a great display (unless you're in the sun... then it's hard to see anything.) I'm really enjoying the speed difference. I have to agree with some of the others here: I expected much more for the price and from Samsung. So far it's the worst of the Samsungs that I've had and thus is my 4th phone from them. I'm still within my 30 day trial period and as much as I hate to say it (because I can't stand Apple) I might have to switch. Better battery life and comparable bells and whistles at this price point. Sorry Samsung. I have been loyal to you all these years, but I might have to leave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst phone from ANY manufacturer I've ever owned Bought this a few days ago. Discovered that Samsung took a page from Apple and now it doesn't have an audio port. I use my phone to listen to Pandora with an external, NON-blue tooth speaker. Were it not for the fact that my S8 started messing up, I wouldn't have done this "downgrade". Blue tooth really draws serious power, afraid that the battery won't hold up while out in the field. I know that Samsung did this to push us to buy your over-priced "wireless" headphones, just like Apple did. Right now, just because of this(not that Android 12 is all that good), I wouldn't recommend Samsung to anyone. As soon as this contract is over, I'll look for a phone that has an audio jack.

I tried to return it but wouldn't accept it and needed to go through warranty claim. In order to do that it needs to be mailed in and you are without a phone for 15 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice "Almost" Flagship Phone for Great Price I used the Samsung promotion to trade in my almost 4 year old S9+ which was still in absolutely mint condition, except for the battery which was down to about 4 hours per charge. This S21FE 5g, at the price I paid for it, is an excellent phone. Not quite as pretty as my gorgeous S9+ but just as powerful and with a larger battery too. The actual screen size is virtually the same and the phone still fits in my hand like a glove. The cameras are somewhat improved but there was nothing really wrong with the S9+ cameras either. Overall, the S21 FE is a beautiful, powerful phone with 5g capability and, so far, works flawlessly. I get about 7.5 hours of continuous use from it, but it will last all day with only moderate use, but I charge it to 85% every night anyway, so it's ready for the next day. I'm very happy with my new phone since it ticks all the boxes that are important to me, and with four years of promised updates and support, I just hope the bigger battery holds out for that long.

It suggests to me use WIFI calling, that makes everything worse, doesn't drop a call but i can't hear the other person or they can't hear me. I can be in any major city and everyone around me with the same carrier will have great reception on their devices, not mine. I have bought mainly samsung phones for 14 or 15 years. This is by far the worst.

Also, if you use the phone pretty often during the day, the battery will not last & you will be charging the phone before night. The camera takes nice still photos but any movement and it's a blur. Overall though, it's a good phone with good speed, handles well.

I also wish it came with a recharger cord, and that there was a place to plug in headphones. I also thik it comes with too many apps I will never use and cannot uninstall. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst smartphone I have ever had I guess my first Nokia phone I got more than 20 years ago was worse. Samsung needs to stop trying to make an iPhone clone. If I wanted an iPhone I would have bought an iPhone. If you are doing something on the phone when somebody calls you the call disappears in the background and there apparently is no way to get it back so you can pick up. It's a phone and it fails the most basic operation. It must take a really special talent to design a phone on which you cannot answer phone calls.

Noticed battery life isn't as good as I was hoping for, while using it alot during the day, I've noticed it needs to be on the charger sooner then I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxurious The last galaxy S phone I had was a S3. It's been years since I had a galaxy S phone. I love the size, since I do not have the hads like Andre the Giant. The phone feels like it slim and yet sturdy. Luxurious quality comes to mind when holding and using the phone. Samsung has won me over from the other Android competition and the fruit company. The last galaxy phone I had was an A35 5G which I loved, but this S21 FE 5G is light years ahead of that one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tragic Hate it! phone sometimes does not keep up with typing, it will lag even when typing password or something, or even if you type message and want to put emoji you will have this 1-3 second leg before it will even. Phone overheat so much that its just a joke, and i don't have any apps running in background like facebook etc. Turning phone off are the same buttons that take screenshots now my god, OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND USER EXPERIENCE IS SUPER FRUSTRATRING and not worth the price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device Solid Android phone. I brought it mainly for the camera - where it did not disappoint with daytime photography. It could improve with nighttime or low light. One can force better results in the Pro-mod. This would suggest the device is capable, just needs software tweaks. Anything past 10x zoom is really not needed. For the most 5 x zoom is adequate, given the sensor size. It is large and at times awkward to hold with one hand to take pictures - but this is a given with today's near phablet-size devices. All in all - no complaints. Good job with this phone Samsung. I look forward to more innovation which would include form factor (Flip size) combined with better cameras or as a stop-gap measure - sell attachable lens extenders.(real optical zoom and macro)

Battery life is no better than my s9 I've had for years. Really angry at myself for letting the US cellular guy push me into this phone!

Maybe after I've had this one for many months, it might grow on me. The special characters on the keyboard are in different places than a normal keyboard. I can't find simple things that I've always been able to find. And why in God's name, do you send me an email toe "review your new phone" and the link takes me FIRST to a page full of marketing ads for new phones & services? Hellooooo! You're asking me to "review your new phone".... Nuff said!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the phone I got this from AT&T a few weeks ago, upgrading from an AT&T Calypso, and WOW it works sooooooo good! I can have 10 games at least without a single problem, and i love the black color, it's a nice mix of matte and not matte. And the way that you have the earpiece be an actual speaker is genius!!! Even when I cover the main speaker i can still hear! Love that. And the screen looks soooo good.
