Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Smartphone on the Planet My first Smartphone was an Apple 3rd generation iPhone, I'm sure everyone remembered Steve Jobs for that great innovation. Since then, I've been an Apple fan. Samsung made a big impact in the Smartphone with the Galaxy S4. Poor build quality; but great features. At the time, I did not like the Android platform until the Galaxy S6 Edge debuted. Today, I own the Apple iPhone XS Max and Galaxy S10+. Apple has lost their ability to innovate. I love my S10+. No need to mention the build quality and features, I'm sure you all seen the videos on YouTube. I recommend the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+ to anyone who wants a great Smartphone.

Ltd. Who is this company ? Does Samsung notify this anywhere on their product earlier ? I feel very fishy now !!!! whether this company would access my personal info ???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Screen cracked in less than a week of receipt Within five days of receiving my new Galaxy S10 Plus, I was getting out of the car at a shopping center. I had my phone in a case and holster, but it must not have been completely clipped into the holster. I heard a noise as it landed on the asphalt. When I picked it up, the corner of the screen had chipped. In all the years of owning a Samsung phone, I have never had a cracked screen. The design of this phone increases the likelihood of this happening. I have ordered a different case/holster that is more rugged and has higher edges to protect the screen. Anyone buying this phone should be aware of the risk of damage.

The hardware is good, and the Android skin is pretty responsive. I must say, however, I would prefer a more stock version of Android.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i really wanted to love it I ordered this on 2nd, Jan and received it on the 7th. It looked amazing and I was very happy with it. I loved many things about it. But things changed when it came to pairing with my other Bluetooth devices, which happed on the second day of owing it. It just wouldn't connect to anything. I tried everything i could find online. Restart the phone, reset network, find Bluetooth under system apps and cleaned the data and cache then restart the phone, reset everything to factory defaul setting. None of those worked. I spend a whole afternoon ended up with nothing, and this troublemaker/timekiller cost me $700. Since I am not a pro, I called the customer service, after telling him what i have tried, he said that seems the only solution was to return it and get a new one. HMMM, i thought a 2-day-used phone should be considered a 99.99% "new phone". So, no, i am not getting a newer new phone. Maybe I got a bad one, my bad.

Shortly thereafter I began having charge port problems where the phone would not allow me to plug it in for charging. This situation was additionally problematic because I could not use my Android Auto app. After several calls and chats with Samsung no fix found. Samsung wanted me to mail my phone to them for two weeks for repair and suggested I get a loner phone from T-Mobile, when I purchased the phone from them!!! Since then Ive learned my friend with S9 also has this issue..! Now Ive ordered an S20 and have been waiting two months for delivery. If this happens once with the S20 Im going back to Apple for good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Galaxy yet I've had several Galaxy phones and I switched over to another brand but after failing to get what I wanted I returned to buy this Galaxy phone S10+. I really like everything about it, The phone came nicely packaged in its box with a screen protector on it already, charger, cable, instructions. The weight and feel of the phone is great with and without a case. I did get a nice case since I drop my phones all the time and I've dropped this one a few times by accident and still looks great. I really like taking pictures so both cameras have worked great from the panoramic, wide angle, close up and much more. The storage is plenty and there is space fore more with the micro SD installed. I use the Android Auto while driving so my receiver works perfect with it, and while at my office it is connected to Samsung Dex so I do not have to look and find my phone since I can do everything from my computer that is on my phone. Hope this helps. Great quality and nice design.

I was streaming music to a Bluetooth speaker and the phone overheated so bad that the screen cracked and was scalding hot to the touch. Samsung refuses to uphold their warranty. Horrible product and customer service. I wouldn’t be so concerned if Samsung didn’t already have a history with overheating devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best phone I've ever owned! As a former iPhone owner, I did not know what I was missing with Android. I'd always thought they were horrible, laggy, throwaway phones. Looking through the current iPhones, I didn't like the notch or design at all. So I figured, why not try the latest Galaxy? And oh boy, I don't regret it. This is seriously the best phone I've ever used. It's a gorgeous device, with flowing lines and curves. The specs are monstrous (there's ZERO lag, unlike pre-2018 Android), and the battery lasts me the entire day and then some. The camera quality is second-to-none. The in-screen fingerprint sensor, while inaccurate at times, is genius. I use it all the time. The only gripes I have, which are very minimal, are the Bixby button and the curved display. WHY, Samsung? Why must you make a display that's impossible to protect? Sure, it's beautiful, but it's also very impractical in day-to-day use. And then Bixby...ugh. Bixby should not exist. It's terrible. And I hate that a button exists for it -- and better yet, it's right next to the volume controls. With those complaints aside, I truly enjoy using the S10+ and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most frustrating camera ever I bought this phone about a month ago to replace my LG V30. The LG took amazing photos. I have been trying to figure out this camera since I got the phone and all it does is make me angry. The phone has way too many camera settings that you cannot help hitting by mistake. You think you are taking a selfie and end up shooting a video!??? I was taking still pictures of deer in a field and ended up shooting a terrible video. And then it adds music to the video!!!??? The aspect ratio is square vs. Wide and I cannot figure out how to change it. I took the phone to the beech today and could never see the screen because it would not get bright enough. I am not liking this phone or the camera. I bought the phone because as one off from the S20. It has three cameras and is supposed to be see better than the LG. I am seriously thinking of buying an LG V50 and getting rid of this thing. Another thing why doesn't it have fingerprint reader that always sense your fingerprint on the back. With the VERY expensive glass screen protector the fingerprint monitor only works when I try to crush the phone. It is way easier to use the pin.

I put my phone in my purse and went to grabbed it, had a broken side of the screen!!!! I just bought it and now I completely regret it. I have to have a phone that's going to break by barely being touched?? What good are the features and performance if you have to worry about the screen or phone cracking?? I have insurance but will now have a refurbished phone instead of brand new one AND this is probably going to happen again since the phone is clearly very fragile!

It's been 100% reliable and I especially like the DeX feature. I have a Samsung monitor screen I use with it that's as crystal clear as the phone screen and the stereo speakers are surprisingly good for being so small. Another plus, is the longevity of the battery. So far, really like this phone!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sucks I use a photo transfer app to download photos from my phone to my computer. The Galaxy S10 won't allow the photo transfer app to find recent photos. Yes I know I could put everything on "the cloud" but I really don't want to do that. It's an OK phone I guess, and the camera is pretty good, but all of this non-compatability and failure to play nice with non Samsung hardware will ensure that this will be my last Samsung product.

I have had lots of reception issues at work while my co-workers with Apple XR's and others can receive Text messages and calls all day while I get "Failed" text messages and messages from customer that went directly to voice mail while my coworker cell phones ring off the desk. I'm very disappointed with this issue and will switch brands as soon as possible.

I am buying the cheapest plan possible with data through verizon @ $35 a month. No need to duplicate internet when I have comcast at home, and free wifi at work... I look at maps before I drive anywhere. as everyone should.

Use mine with the ReSound Hearing Aid System, that includes the Hearing Aids, Phone Clip and Amplifier Charging system, in Blue Tooth and WIFI (TV) modes. I get Superior Communications with this system set-up. It doesn't hurt to be a FCC Licensed Communications-Engineer (also School trained and 62.2 years experience. My S-10-+ 5G Capable phone has no problems working from Cellular to WIFI, BUT - when you got to a area you must have their specific WIFI Code inserted in your instrument

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of hardware with great performance I was a bit hesitant on the Galaxy S10 since I'm generally weary of these big name android phones, and am of the "Can find a similar phone cheaper" yolk. After a lot of looking around, I was convinced that the S10 was the best phone of its generation, and I feel like that's turned out true. It runs extremely well. I tend to ask too much of my android phones and overload them with apps, widgets, and really lay into the customization options when it comes to the UI. Other phones have started studdering, crashing, or failing to load apps once I lay into them, but the S10 has handled every stupid app and animated background I've thrown at it. And, as a testament to the build of the phone - I dropped the thing at the lake, it went about five feet down and buried half way into the sand, and it was under water for 10-15 minutes. When I finally fished it out, it was still on! It was working as if nothing happened! I turned it off right away and dried it as best I could, then stuck it in a bowl of rice until the next day, but now more than a week later it's still running like nothing happened!

The 8+ had a "notification light" on the phone so a quick look would tell you you had a text or some type of notification. This phone does not. I don't have time to look at my phone every 10 minutes. I've missed at least 1 text every few days where I don't respond for hours and it's caused issues. This is ridiculous. I went to the Verizon store & they fixed some notification so it lights up on the edge WHEN A TEXT COMES IN. But if I'm not looking at the phone at that exact moment, I don't know it came in since there's nothing continuous. I cannot wait til I can replace this phone. Never again will I get a phone without checking this out first.

This mas sound stupid, but on all the previous phones there is an on/off button on the phone's screen. Why did they eliminate this????? Relying on lift to wake is a really stupid idea especially when you have to hit the power button to bring back the screen after it times out and to end a call. Probably the last Samsung I will have especially with the price of the new ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone for the first year I am not big on changing phones as soon as the newest model comes out. This phone has good memory, is fast, and takes good photos. HOWEVER, a year (to the day) after purchase the battery started to massively drain, and the phone shuts off at 12%. I contacted Samsung and their solution was to drive over an hour to a third party repair shop to see what the issue is. Samsung used to be a lot better with taking care of their customers. I need my phone for my job, and having to charge more frequently because it cannot hold a charge at 12% is shameful for such a prominent company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The camera only thing good I've own this junk phone for 3 months now. I'm actually on a replacement phone from the original one i purchased. S10plus is a garbage phone. I hate this phone and soon as i can find a buyer for the junk I'll go get a LG. Fingerprint to unlock sucks sometimes it works most of the time you'll play hell getting it to work. The proxy sensor that supposed to turn screen off while talking on the phone don't work half of the time. The battery life sucks it's a joke. Now if you don't use your phone except to talk on it the battery good, you go streaming music or using the web then battery garbage. Samsung your 10 plus phones are junk trash most horrible phone ever made. Samsung note 9 is a flawless phone. Oh have i said i hate hate my s10 plus.

Phone looked new but who knows. Contacted customer service all they said was you can return it. Had to order a new one and was late on give a gift.

Not even having this phone for 2 months the front glass has already cracked by just being in my pocket. It would have been a 4 star phone for the $1000 initial investment but is not so great with the $300 repair added to that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice phone, not worth it. i was super excited to upgrade my samsung galaxy s8+ with the samsung galaxy s10+. this phone is expensive, i was ok with splurging though, the color is amazing, its lightweight and classy, so nice. i was used to my s8+ fingerprint recognition to be pretty sensitive, it would work 9 times out of 10, not the case with the s10+, ive set up my fingerprint so many times and still it only works probably 1 time out of 10. this issue is definetly a deal breaker for me, i was so dissapointed with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A myriad of small problems Owned for approximately four months now and it had been a rather terrible experience from the stock samsung messaging app randomly causing the cursor to jump to the beginning of the text while typing, home button becoming non functioning in landscape mode but still able to bring up google assistant and just small issues that make you appreciate when a product just works. specs are rather good but excellent hardware is a paperweight when small bugs constantly ruin the experience. also when using Dex with a samsung dock is more appropriately called a space heater instead of a portable computing alternative which is another disappointment.

I will be trading this back in at a cost of 450 $ and will.still.owe the full.amount on the new phone. I've had to seek shelter with Microsoft and Google by getting help.to fend off frequent malware and virus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The features are good. I would have given 5 stars but the phone is too narrow for the length. It is not proportioned well. I have arthritic hands and my hands and wrist tire easy with this phone. Because of being so narrow it feels like it teeter-totters in your hand. If it were a little wider it would feel better. I don't want to take the phone back as I would have to pay a restocking fee. It was expensive enough with paying a penalty. Hopefully once the case arrives it will give it a better feel. Phones are hard for older people. You need a larger screen to read and navigate but the weight and size needs to be friendly too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buy this phone i am on my 3rd phone. all of them have had charging issue. phone is to cold to charge. the last phone sent to samsung i was told no warranty 1. i the changed the programing of the phone. 2 then i was told i had damaged the charging port. 3. repair finally called me told me the case had been broken. when ask where, the tech responded one of the corners had been broken. when told that i had video of the phone, cover off. i was then told samsung would offer a 1 time warranty. company

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Miss my Galaxy S9 I Got the S10 as an upgrade from my phone company. Never, nothing wrong with the S9. The S10 struggle with the same number of apps as the S9, it's slower. It gets hot even with a simple video call of 5 minutes. It doesn't have the pressure sensitive button that was so useful in the S9 to unlock the phone. The clear view case for the S10 is nice but they clearly downgraded from the S9 case. Sure it was more expensive but totally worthy. In the s10 the case material looks cheap, it's not self-standing, the magnet is not good, and the material inside the cover tend to catch lot of dust. I really miss the performance of the S9 and the quality of its case. Don't play with client's loyalty, keep up with the quality standards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never again I have many payments left on this phone, and it has left me nothing but frustrated! I have only had it for for a short time and have run into various issues. I was previously an iphone user, and when it is paid off, I will go back to an iphone. Way too many software issues recently including crashes with my messages. I have repeatedly had to get assistance with issues on this phone. Finally gave up and did a factory reset (not sure if that will even fix the issue), but despite running back up, ALL of my photos (including Christmas) are now lost forever. Ridiculous that it is so problematic. Honestly, they just need to replace mine with a new one unless they are all this bad. Doubt I will ever buy Samsung again after this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands down the best phone I've owned so far! i love this phone. it does everything i need it to and more. picture and video quality are second to none. it plays mobile games with ease. has plenty of storage for all my music and apps and has enough ram to run multiple apps simultaneously. other than some wifi range and bluetooth connectivity issues i've been having recently i can't really find any faults with this device. for being the + version its a bit bulkier than my previous phone but it still fits easily into my pocket and i don't really notice the size difference when walking around or sitting down. overall a great phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good the good after approximately 1 year great for my kitchen remodel business, plenty of storage, battery life, etc. battery life - have not ran out charge it every evening enjoy the bixby though i also use google mirror imaging for movies on tv is great have ford sync works well with that good sound quality for playing music and calls just the right size not to big not too small. love samsungs easy transfer to another samsung all contacts,apps, etc. also use microsoft on laptop computer and transferring was not a problem. still finding little gems to use with this thing. used for calls,emails. fb, movies, bible reading, youtube, googling, weather, music and more. the bad nothing so far took me a little bit to get use to samsungs set up as i was used to my lg but thats it so far.

No wifi calling allowed unless using AT&T branded phone. Renders the phone useless for rural subscribers. Other key network features crippled by AT&T with reduced connectivity.. WiFi calling does work on Sprint and Verizon. (2) fragile, low build quality compared to S7 edge or Note9. (3) Slow 15 watt max charging. Native protocol is still the ancient QC2. USB C-PD works but is no faster. Charges fast enough for me and allows use of low cost Qualcomm certified chargers and battery banks. But once again the issue is one of Samsung's failure to disclose made worse by sales and tech support giving out wrong information. All models above S10+ have adopted USB PPS super fast charging. (4) Security updates end at 36 months negating any justification for high price.

But quite frankly I'm getting pretty annoyed paying $1,000+ for a phone that takes blurry images/videos. PLEASE GET ON THIS! Fix this issue because I would really hate to go back to Apple just for the camera. But I'm willing. Everytime I'm in the store looking for a new phone I check the camera quality, then I decide to buy it and bring it home and I'm shocked how much different the quality seems on my device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed I've only had this for 3 days and they upper portion of my screen is scratched big time. I have always carried a phone in my left pocket with a tiny flashlight. I had a GS7 for 3 years and it had 2 little tiny scratches at the top. Never had to use a screen protector. The sprint sales person removed it and I didn't think anything of it. If you want this phone make sure you use the screen protector. Glass is real soft.

Here are some of the issues: Sound is terrible -- even when set to "maximum" volume goes from too loud to barely audible with no input by user. This is true whether using phone to play music, using phone as a phone or as other use Constantly drops connection even when all bars are lit and service is stable. [2nd Cell Phone used in same area maintains solid connection] Shuts off with no input Often will not permit answering using quick swipe --- hit the green button and nothing happens; hit it again and...nothing. Swipe and nothing. Cannot use hands free mode. Cannot dismiss calls, including SPAM calls using red reject button or swiping. Phone often drops calls with no apparent reason -- all bars are active and I am not moving, yet call will drop. I have to carry two phones many days and the other phone does not drop calls even when used in same location/time Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the phone and will probably never purchase another Samsung phone and would think carefully before purchasing any other Samsugn product after this nightmare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Issues yet, let's keep it that way I've had my S10e since October of 2019, so far nothing major has reared it'd ugly head. My issues is I'll be looking for something that "I" think needs adjusting and while holding the phone in one had I'll press an ICON with my thumb or little finger and without knowing what I did or better yet how I did something I'm presented with a screen of unknown origin and something totally unrelated to what I was looking for to begin with and it'll take me several minutes to figure out what I did and how to back track or return to a menu I recognize and then resume what I started to do to begin with. And sometimes I forget what I started out to do and get off on another track altogether. It's funny that these things are marketed as "Smart Phones," if that's the case, why can't they simplify all the extras and make them all USER FRIENDLY???

When I brought it in I was told that there was a scuff in the corner of the screen that was causing it, and it would not be covered by the warranty since it is physical damage. The screens on these phones are extremely expensive, and a scuff makes the phone unusable? Really disappointed in that, been using Samsung for years and I really regret spending the money on this phone.

Size and weight is more than S8 and no real value add. 2. Battery life is worse than my 2 yr old S8, even though I have set S10 in low power mode with lower screen res etc. 3. SW quality is really bad. Facing many issues. a. Screen mirroring doesn't work always. Some days it does and some days it doesn't. S8 works always. b. When I try to add smart devices, like water heater or thermostat. This device never connects to those devices for set-up. I have to use either old S8 or iphone to add devices. S10 refuses to connect.

Bluetooth head set doesn't work as expected. If u unplugged then normal video volume goes down. Many people cant hear me on call. Plus camera may be good for landscape pictures but night pics or selfies are horrible no other mode can help. Image size is big compare to other phones. No notification light. Sorry to say some basic features are needed when u do any kind of enhancement. Biggest disappointment of my life better I would have got One note

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breaks Easy I have had my S10 for several months. I like the phone not so much on some of the updates. I do not like bixby at all and this phone seems to love it. My biggest complaint is that it breaks so easy. Within 2 months with a case on it the back broke but still usable. Dropped it on my kitchen floor which is wood last night now crack in front screen but still usable. I have never in all the years I have had a phone ever broke one. I buy good cases and screen protection and take care of them. The first break happened while in my purse so not sure how that happened. Very easily broke for a phone that cost so much.

The charger sits in a dresser drawer all day. How the heck does this make "moisture"? No method works until the finicky thing decides to work. Way too sensitive. I never had this issue until about a month ago and I have had this phone for about a year.

The first phone, having paid full price, in a Samsung store in LA broke within months. It was insured and replaced with a refurbished phone which lasted 2 months. I am not hard on my equipment, not in the least, but this phone just isn't built to last. It's under warranty so I am sure Samsung will replace this product with another refurbished phone and odd are it will last 2 months. At this rate, I will have had five 10's under warranty. No thank you!!!!

New apps were added that I can't delete that take up space, that I don't even use. Everyday I have to update something on my phone and its so irritating. This platform is getting more and more user UNFRIENDLY! I have one more year until this phone is paid off and I'm switching to Apple. I've been extremely loyal and steadfast with Android for decades, but now I'm truly done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I regret getting this phone I bought my S10+ a few months ago, hoping for a better camera like promised and the quality of my pictures compared to the S8+ I previously had are horrible. Just frustrated because I spent all this money for an upgrade, and it's more of a downgrade for me. I love Samsung products, but this phone has been nothing but problems for me. I can't take good pictures anymore, it's slow and lags, I've had many glitches. Mostly upset with the camera, I used to take pictures all the time with the S8+ but am unable to capture a decent picture. Not happy with the purchase. Maybe the S20 will be better, but I have a long ways before I'll be able to afford another new phone.

Refuses to update why, because it refuses to connect to most ANY wifi and when it does it is extremely slow and constantly disconnects then tries to reconnect. No notification light and half the time the phone doesn't ring when you get a call and you get not notification sound of a text. I've gotten many voicemails because a phone I had in my front shirt pocket with the volume turned all the way up never rang and whoever called left a voice message. I get texts and even though I have the phone right next to me with the notification sound set as loud as it will go. Nothing. I have experienced a lot of dropped calls, failed to send texts. I would gladly go back to the S9 plus over this phone any day. Trust me, unless just having a S10 is just a status symbol for you. DO NOT get this phone. I would love to like it but there is just to much wrong with it. It does take a good picture but so does my camera that cost 1/4 as much as this phone. And my "Camera" almost works better as a phone or a way to text.

The battery is absolute trash. If you use a different charger than the original Samsung charger it makes the phone hot on the left side and back of the phone, its almost so hot you can't touch it. All in all, I would never buy one of these phones again and I am personally disgusted by this phone.

I sont recommend this phone or any other Samsung as this phone went to garbage right when 5g came out. If I have to replace my 4 month old phone it won't be with another Samsung. Very disappointed in the update that appears to target galaxy phones

It has aged really well and the software updates have improved the phone incrementally since it's release. It's shown no signs of slowing down or performance issues. Battery performance is great. I am a power user and have stressed the phone a lot. But it has performed very well and great thing is it is improving. This phone cannot dissatisfy anyone. It's an all-rounder.

Even with recommended cases the glass is volatile to any drop. My glass has broken twice. I feel like Samsung should recall! Love the phone, it is my third Galaxy but this one is a MISS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rubbish Within a month from purchasing this phone its charging port stop working. Living on an island town with no service center near me this is a disaster. Luckily I have a wireless charger which still makes it work somehow, but that means no data connection to another device can be made through the use of a cable/physical means and the only option is wireless. A company trying to sell itself to better than iPhone breaks down after a month. Now after a year with no charging port, the screen stops working after being submerged in a kiddie pool with a depth of 2.5 feet for no more than 30 seconds. The screen is intact, display is still there but touchscreen is unresponsive. For a phone with IP68 water resistant rating this is a lie. Yes, I've troubleshooted it, dried it completely, reset and all that. Proves that this company has marketing issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Basic Phone BUT This phone has been with me for several months. First you mus put a case on it or the wrap around screen senses your fingers. The fingerprint sensor is very slow compared to others this causes extended delays to get in, I now push the screen up and enter the pass code, it is quicker. My last major observation is that in the clock there no GMT/UTC/Zulu entry possible, that I can find. This is the time used in Navigation, Airline operations and Radio communications. I must admit to blindy purchasing this phone after my beloved Note 3.

And got to say I hate the fingerprint reader on the screen that never reads your print... always get the too many attempts and have to enter my pattern every time I unlock my phone. S8 fingerprint reader always worked. And just unresponsive touch screen. Having to tap the same thing 3 times before it works.... Love the phone but probably should have stuck with the s8 plus a little longer.

I paid so much money for this and I keep accidentally hitting this stupid button. I disabled the app, but now there’s just a useless button on the side of an otherwise sleek item. IDK what genius thought this up, but please fire them, ASAP. Really disappointing, Samsung. The only reason I got this was because I needed a phone with an upgraded camera, and got a better deal than the iphone equivalent.

The reception is a problem and i was told by a Samsung service center it is a very known and common problem. I do not want this phone but Samsung will only repair it and it is under warranty. They will not send me a phone to use so I am without a phone for 10=12 days. Sprint is just as bad. I took it to a samsung repair center and after 6 hours they could not fix it. I will not buy another Samsung product. $1,000 phone and I'm stuck with it. I have all Samsung Tv's, phones and tablets. Never again. I just spent over an hour trying to have help backing up my data to my computer and lost connection. So far this phone has cost me over 50 hours of my life trying to fix it. My Samsung S5 is a better phone but not enough memory. Bye Bye Samsung

So much so that I am the only person in my company with an Android phone and had no interest in switching to an iPhone. After 3 years with an S7 and no longer having decent battery life it was time to upgrade. Unfortunately all the fancy bells and whistles that the S10 has are lost on me as I use my phone primarily for voice texting, calling (go figure!) and taking pictures. My Galaxy 7 had some quirks with voice texting and my hope was that there would be improvements in the 3 years since buying my 7. I could not have been more wrong! I do not have an accent of any sort and had decent accuracy with the 7 but the 10 has been horrible for accuracy, capitalizes the first letter of a word every time there is a pause in texting, does not recognize capitalization (typing out period 50% of the time rather than actually ending a sentence) does not offer suggested words when I move the cursor (CONSTANTLY) to fix a mispelling and then deletes the entire word when I am trying to fix a letter or 2.... I could go on and on about how HORRIBLE the voice texting is but I think this gets the point across. This alone makes me wish I went ahead with an iPhone purchase. Secondly, I find the change in taking screenshots to be very painful. It usually takes me 3-6 attempts to successfully screenshot something. Hate it! I am in the first 2 weeks of having the phone and very well may take it back. May be a great phone if you don't use voice text but I will not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Death by a thousand cuts, so many bugs with S10+ You'll read quite a few negative reviews. All are legitimate. Samsung can't seem to get one single monthly update right. I am using the unlocked SM-G975U1 on T-Mobile. Notifications for email and youtube take hours to appear, not a problem with my other phones. Touch screen will have difficulty finding your finger. Keyboard is a mess, auto correct and voice to text are the worst you'll get. Issues with great third party apps like Connectify wifi for my laptop, won't connect S10 but all my other phones do. Bixby is always in the way. Curved screen always causes fingers to open apps. Fast battery drain. Wifi distance is extremely poor. Signing into apps and use of apps has infinite "browser" issues, blank screens, poor development. Always on screen cannot be turned off or put to sleep mode, constantly turns itself on. This phone is littered with software glitches, bugs, incompetent incomplete development of the entire system.

There is no light indicator for notifications, the text sound will only go off of my media volume is at max, and is over all just poor in general. I contacted Samsung and they told me to take it to the nearest service center, which is apparently 63 miles away. I live in a fairly large city, not out in the country, so there is no reason that that is the closest service center. I am going to buy apple from now on.

One of the marketing features indicated it was supposed to be water resistant, however, the phone was exposed to water and it was definitely not resistant! The camera was ruined and the phone quit working. Now Samsung refuses to stand behind their own warranty and is requiring $540 more to fix it. "Customer Service" has said the phone is out of warranty because it has water damage. It is supposed to be water resistant!

My last phone was a Motorola that I have over 4 years and the swipe was better. The phone before that had better swipe. Even when I type on the keyboard it doesn't always give me the letter that I click on. I don't understand how old phones are better then this and I paid $1200 for my S10plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrades are great, software changes not so great Super fast as expected, same sleek design my s8+ had. Not a huge difference from previous models but enough to make it different for sure. I believe I is 1 or 2 cm smaller in width. Notifications, or the lack of that is, are a problem. You don't have an option to turn the feature on which is odd. That's the biggest drawback I've seen yet and some notifications disappear when you go to check for them. ex. FB messenger made a noise for a message and there was no icon or anything present to tell me it was messenger. I only know bc I set different notification tones for everything. Simply more of the same with less add-ons. Can be good can be bad. In my case the phone hardware gets 5 stars even with the location of the front camera. But 1 star on the obscenity of changes in basic functions. Oh yeah, fingerprint scanner sooo much worse than the S8+ scanner. Went back to S5 scanner when the update came in for it. Not good at all hard to get used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Started out fine, but now there's all this garbage Just got the latest update from Samsung. Now this DEX thing keeps popping up in my notifications. I can't shut the notifications off, can't delete the app, can't figure out where this stupid thing came from. Samsung, I already shelled out a week's pay for this phone. Quit putting bloatware on it. I'm about to go buy a different brand. Just because I paid for the extra RAM doesn't mean you can fill it up with garbage I didn't ask for and wouldn't spend a penny on, let alone several hundred dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Phone I've had the Galaxy s10+ for about a year now and I just had to take some time to let the internet know how much I've appreciated my last to Galaxy devices. Galaxy has always operated smoothly, fast, reliably, and efficient. Great Cameras, excellent for streaming content (huge perk) excellent screen resolution and an outstanding user friendly interface. Truly a great product and I switched from IPhone years ago (which was rough) but now seeing from afar how much they seem to be going downhill im glad that im on this side. Great product thanks again Samsung!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Call Quality I'm strongly considering switching teams to iphone because of this phone. The S10+ has poor audio quality. It's a good phone overall for video/picture quality, screen size, memory space, face recognition, ease of use, and features. The bells and whistles are fine. A key feature of a phone, in general, is the phone call quality. Average T-Mobile cell service aside, I have experienced difficulties during my phone calls and video calls with others. They have a hard time hearing me. I have trouble hearing others sometimes as well. When using the speakerphone or earbuds/earphones, the audio is terrible. The audio is distorted and there's awful feedback. I discovered having this phone in a case affected the audio for worse (as though the sound ricochets against the case), but my phone must be protected regardless. This is the first phone I've ever had this issue with and I've used Samsung phones for the past five years or so. I'll find a work-around for this issue, considering the cost. But it's frankly very annoying and it's becoming an interference with simple communication. I can't recommend this phone because of a basic feature like poor audio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best solid phone I had since S7 I upgraded to the S10+ 512 since it had that "ceramic" back. Loved the phone but was disappointed that Samsung still does not provide a cover. If the purpose to have a nice shiny phone is to flaunt the phone nice, but at least include some options to have it rugged in order for the phone to not slip. I loved that the phone was solid and you can't hear anything when you shake it. Loved how the camera is, the screen was nice and bright. Loved the fact that it had the earphone jack which allowed me to use wired earphones. Samsung if you are following what apple is doing by removing the headphone jack, you must include a pair of headset that connects to the phone. We paying you big money and you are just ignorant by saying that this is an option... it is not an option and it does not cost you anything to include. Your company will not go bankrupt. My experience with the S10+ with 512gb was great, but the Note S20 came out and finally switched.

I miss my active version. And this phone updates constantly. This is the annoying part because every update comes with missing phone numbers and settings for text set differently. These are just examples. Every update I have to fight to get my phone back to workable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice phone, not worth it. i was super excited to upgrade my samsung galaxy s8+ with the samsung galaxy s10+. this phone is expensive, i was ok with splurging though, the color is amazing, its lightweight and classy, so nice. i was used to my s8+ fingerprint recognition to be pretty sensitive, it would work 9 times out of 10, not the case with the s10+, ive set up my fingerprint so many times and still it only works probably 1 time out of 10. this issue is definetly a deal breaker for me, i was so dissapointed with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good the good after approximately 1 year great for my kitchen remodel business, plenty of storage, battery life, etc. battery life - have not ran out charge it every evening enjoy the bixby though i also use google mirror imaging for movies on tv is great have ford sync works well with that good sound quality for playing music and calls just the right size not to big not too small. love samsungs easy transfer to another samsung all contacts,apps, etc. also use microsoft on laptop computer and transferring was not a problem. still finding little gems to use with this thing. used for calls,emails. fb, movies, bible reading, youtube, googling, weather, music and more. the bad nothing so far took me a little bit to get use to samsungs set up as i was used to my lg but thats it so far.

I had a different manufacturer phone I liked but sold and switched to a Samsung A50. A50 was good but I didn't research it enough to understand that this was not for me being a little under powered for what I use my phone for. So I saw this deal on the S10+ as a CPO and being a long time customer and about 400 bucks saved I went for it. Pros: Longer battery life I can tell already from the A50 and other previous manufacturer phone Surprised with a headphone jack that the supplied earbuds are USB C so ++ for that Very fast and easy to use First time I ever used a transfer software and instead of an hour or so downloading apps the software transferred apps, images, photos and what have you (6GB worth) in less than 15 minutes. Cons: Surprised that the software was set to stock or close to it (January)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from S8+2a S10 lite, My Cons that were important to me So purchased the S10 lite on Tax free weekend in Mass, unfortunately I had to go to Best Buy to get a unlocked phone for T mobile didn't carry it yet. I loved my S8+ had it for 3 years with no issues other then screen burn( my fault) Absolutely Loved the LED NOTIFICATION and could assign colors to different apps. Along with NOTIFICATIONS THE LOCK SCREEN WOULD SHOW YOUR NOTIFICATION AND INFO (what app it is ,who from), WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE A CLOCK ON THE LOCK SCREEN and a dinky little icon that you can't see. Have to use 3rd party app to get what Samsung took away and it doesn't keep a notification on lock screen, so if I'm not by my phone or have it muted,i have to check it . I drive semi truck and those features were extremely helpful to me very sad they aren't in this phone. I normally don't write reviews and most people review the camera , gaming and other things, if I had did more research and knew what I know now I would not have purchased this phone. But live and learn,hopefully this helps someone else.

No problems so far, the fingerprint scanner works with no problems ( I had to setup two times the same finger), battery life is incredible ( full day normal use) and amazing screen with HDR. If you are looking for an upgrade, go for the S10 plus. no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfected Galaxy Phone Bought the Galaxy 10+ in the prism blue. Let's start off with the screen, absolutely stunning. Possibly the best display I have ever laid eyes on, the way the camera is integrated into the screen coupled with slim bezels and gorgeous color, you won't be able to put it down. Battery is a well needed upgrade, I used my s8 heavily and often would need to top up mid way through the day. Now end of the day and still have 20% battery. On to the camera, well look at the specs, I wouldn't say it's pixel level good but and absolute upgrade no matter how you look at it. The integrated fingerprint scanner takes a little getting used to but once you adjust it's very smooth and much better than any other biometric option out there. Having used iPhones and the newer pixels I can tell you that the flagships tend to be pretty close in quality. With that being said this phone is the exception and will absolutely will steal the show, it blows any current phone on the market in terms of power, esthetic, and function. If you have been on the fence about upgrading or switching to the Galaxy, now is the time. The Galaxy S10 will not disappoint, after all it's the perfected smartphone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buyer beware I bought this phone in April from my carrier - I had a few issues that I didn't attend too such has the person on the other line not being able to hear me when we spoke, I just assumed it would work itself out. Here I am a few months later and my calls drop - person on the other line is always asking, "you still there", the only way for me to talk to friends and family is to facetime via FB or text. Had I know this was such an issue this phone would have been returned immediately. The carrier I'm with says they can't find anything wrong with the phone even when I called someone in the store while the tech was standing next to me. His response was to replace the sim card and give it a week. If you experience any of these, please don't wait one moment, look up the reviews and blogs about this and what is going on and get rid of the phone. It has been frustrating and inconvenient, especially when my carrier is based on calls with my clients. Other than the calls, yes the phone is great. But how great can it be when you can't use it to talk to anyone?

It took me 3 days to set up all my apps and I didn't want to take it back and have to do that all over again! Also...the batteries dont last as long as the s8, nothing works as good as the s8!! I am so so upset!! Also when I first answer the phone people can't hear me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent product I came from a pixel 3 which yes has an amazing camera but also had a lot of software issues and was overall a disappointment. I had a note 8 before that which I loved except for the speakers which were very quiet. this phone has amazing speakers, I stopped using my bluetooth speaker because it is so good, esp. with the dolby atmos turned on. I do miss getting the security updates in a timely manner and I also miss being able to turn do not disturb on for one hour only (even Bixby routines does not do this afaik) but any repeat Samsung buyer knows already that updates are slow to nonexistent and it does not take away from the really nice experience that is the new one ui. I love that the phone is slim and light and I have a Samsung leather case which is perfect (I am very careful w/phones). I have absolutely no regrets (other than the very delayed security updates but that's just my ocd).

I would off hope for a higher megapixel on the camera since my previous phone has the same amount of megapixels which is 16 megapixels but overall it's a great phone. I live Samsung so I'm sticking to them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This phone is crazy. I'm big into computer hardware and when I saw the spec sheet come out for this phone, I knew it would be my next upgrade. I was using the original Pixel XL, which was another excellent device that lasted me 3 years with no issues (besides the battery losing its charge which is expected over 3 years). The phone has so many was to customize and the performance is top notch for something this size. 12GB of RAM in a phone is INSANE. It has an 8-core processor running 2.8GHz, this is basically hitting the same specs as a mid-size computer. The OLED screen looks great, and it has lots of color adjusting features to make sure your screen is set best for you. The screen is almost completely bezeless which is really nice when taking pictures and watching videos. There is so much customization to be done on this phone and I'm sure I wont figure every feature out but so far this phone is great. The multitasking is very smooth (ex. watching a youtube video in 1080p while searching the web or using other apps on the same screen is a breeze for this phone). So far, everything seems to be top notch for the S10+, if anything changes over time like hardware deterioration, I will be sure to update the review to make sure it is as accurate as possible. As for now, this is arguably the most powerful phone you can buy.

I upgraded from the s9 after having the s7 edge and didn't get much of a difference between the 7 edge n 9 but once I opened the box to the 10+ I was instantly pleased with the looks alone!! I'm not very tech savvy but I'm learning how to do so much on my phone and the colors just pop! I would definitely reccomend this phone to everyone!! I love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fingerprint sensor is actually great Never preordered, my wife had an S9 which she loved, so I thought to give it a try after my Iphone6, I ordered an S10+. The phone arrived, pretty nice, even all my iphone data could be transferred in the first 10 minutes to the S10+ with the provided usb-microusb extender. Installed apps, played around with the screen resolution to match my needs, everything was great. Much easier usage than my iphone, I can reach everything with it with just a swipe. It is also a bit slimmer than the XS Plus which fits my hands perfectly with a tighter grip. Photos are amazing, even S9 is not even near in quality. Bixby routines are great - e.g. plugging in headset sets up the volume, starts spotify. However when I set up the fingerprint sensor. 1/10 worked. Then added 3 different fingerprints from my finger, still no luck. So actually the fingerprint sensor is too much in the bottom of the phone. So I removed the fingerprints and then set up "fingerprints" of the middle of my thumb. This works like a charm, it almost always opens the phone immediately. Face recognition is pretty quick as well, even picking up the phone and looking at it will open it in less than a second. Customizing keyboard response time is great and really it has countless user centered featured which I really like. For now I only have the AKG earphones which are so bad (like zero bass) that I am still using the apple earphones and sacrifice setting volume up and down, as stopping and restarting works with it. Sennheiser would be a better partner for Samsung - just saying ;) I only have one complaint (to Facebook). Their app (on March '19) on the S10+ has a bug: when swiping the stories on the timeline, it continuously hides the top blue search-bar and then un-hides it when swiping stopped. This constant hide-unhide results in the timeline jumping up and down. Chrome browser has the same feature without the bug: it only shows that when you try to swipe down on the screen. Overall an amazing phone for someone who is willing to spend some time to customize it. Not at all bulky - pretty slim - but still a fairly big screen. I did switch to Iphone for a brief period and switched back simply due to the camera since that is what i do mostly is videos and pictures. The performance of the Samsung camera is Phenomenal. I have compared pictures from the S10+ to pics from an Iphone XS andby far the S10 blows it out of the water. as well as 4K Video, it is sooo much more vibrant than the XS. i will stick with Samsung for now! You spent the money, and bought (at least at the time of this review) the best phone in the category, from a manufacturer that has consistently provided the best handsets, and most capable hardware for Android users. Every noted feature and benefit performs as expected. This phone does what it says on the tin, and is painfully boring in that respect. Read the marketing gobbledy-gook, watch the reviews, its all true. I cannot think of a testing circumstance that I have encountered with this device where it has not met or exceeded the expectation of the manufacturer. This is the best phone that money can buy at the time of this review, and that is exactly the result of my purchase, testing, and daily of this device. I cannot give samsung 5 stars in any of the below category however, because I feel the product (as a line: S10e, S10, S10+) could have been a bit more refined in that, at launch the Galaxy S10 should have had advanced LTE+ (or whatever) AND 5G antennae. I dont think having a separate (and non-plus) 5G galaxy is an outright money grab, but I think it is possible the engineering might have been influenced by an expected release date. The moral of the story is that, if you want the best, you will compromise, and as a consumer, if you want the best, you will pay for it regardless of brand loyalty.

There isn't a better display that the infinity display and I didn't see Samsung getting a even better upgrade to convince me to upgrade. Samsung have outdid themselves once again and made be very excited to upgrade my phone. I want to have this phone for a long time before I upgrade.

The only thing that always bothered me back then was the software, or better said, Samsung's interaction with it. Now with One UI and Android Pie I absolutely love it. The phone is a joy to use, and offers all I am looking for in a phone at that price range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful phone and equally bad customer service I bought this phone about a month ago. The signal randomly cuts in and out, 80% of my calls get dropped. Took it in and had my phone flashed with whatever software samsung gave them to fix this issue. Now my phone can't load google searches without Wifi. Got in touch with samsung and was told I need to mail my phone into them at least twice before they'll replace it. This is a known issue but they refuse to accept responsibility and make you jump through hoops for their mistakes and poor quality phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Phone and an AMAZING Camera I pre-ordered my phone as an upgrade to my S9+. The look and feel of this phone screams quality and attention to detail. I have yet to actually bog this phone down running multiple apps thanks to all of the RAM and I doubt that I will ever fill the 1.5TB (yes... I added to 512MB MicroSD). Low light photos have incredible clarity (no noise) and daily photos are breathtaking. Couple all of this with the new UI updates and you have a MUST HAVE device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone except for finger print scanner. Received the s10+ 2 weeks ago. Great phone, great specs, gorgeous display, extremely fast, great battery life. My only complaint is with the finger print scanner. It just flat out doesn't work very well. I've read all the YouTube posts, but nothing seems to help. It will work OK for 2 or 3 unlocks, but then it just quits working. My s9+, with the capacitive sensor on the back, worked flawlessly, but you had to pick the phone up to unlock it. I went for the s10+ because I thought I would be able to unlock the phone while it is laying face up, but unfortunately that is not the case. I'm holding out hope that Samsung may be able to push a software update to make this better....

I have tried service on two major networks and I am only able to receive data and make calls sporadically via the cellular network. One of the network personnel from one of the carriers said that the required bands needed to operate does not exist in the phone that I received. So far it has been a major headache and loss of revenue. I had no problems with the S8+.

Then brick phones. and a few others on my way to the first smart phones. Even a Palm Pilot smart phone. Today I've kind of settled in on Samsung for quality and advanced features. The S9 series really didn't give me a reason to upgrade, but now I have a new love in my life with the Galaxy S10 Plus 512GB and still room for another 512GB SD card. And yes, I have both. So I now have a phone in my pocket with the best display I've even seen, and even with my 70 year old eyes, I still have great vision (not perfect, but I do wear top of the line glasses when needed).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best phone yet!! I got the phone a couple days ago and I'm loving it. Its so incredibly fast, everything is so snappy. The fingerprint reader is awesome, the cameras are great. My favorite is the ultra wide camera. You can capture so much detail with it. Also the front facing camera quality has greatly improved. I'm also loving the new UI. It's way nicer to use than the previous launcher. I also love the screen on this device, so vivid and crisp. The only disappointment I had is there's no notification LED. It would be nice to see one around the camera cutout when the screen is off. Coming from an S7 edge this phone is amazing.

Wife's Samsung s8 has full bars while I have 1 or 2 bars standing side by side. Everyone on the same carrier. Samsung needs to fix the signal issue for this phone or offer downgrades with refunds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Regret buying this phone The camera and screen are great, but never had a bigger pain in the butt with quirks like having the pocket protect ON, yet after 30 minutes in my pocket, setting 3 or 4 screens deep are changed and 6 apps opened. Ringer gets silenced when I specifically maxed it waiting for a doctor's call. Visual voicemail never works. Screen rotation never works and I have it ON. Seems like they steps forward benefit the maker, not the user. The wrap edge screen just makes it hard to put down without opening something on the way to the stand and tthe sleekness, although nice to look at, makes it like a greased pig to hold. I had to get a case just to get a safe grip on it.

While I have not upgraded to each phone in the series ( phones function perfectly for 3 plus years.) Each phone I have had, Samsung has provided me with every little wish I have had with each version. LOVE the ear buds and that they sync automatically!! Only kick back I have is not all my apps sync with the fingerprint access. Other wise the screen is beautifully clear glad I waited from my 7 to upgrade to the 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent display Not sure how people are giving a 5 star review before the phone released.... however I will say that performance is quick, coming from the iPhone X it takes some getting used to navigating Samsung's oneUI. last time I had one was the s5 and s6edge, and they've really stepped it up from there. The only downside is some aspects of the camera, some features look far better than expected on a phone but others kind of fall short. Dont get me wrong the cameras are good but definitely not the best. Personally the OS and UI Samsung has on this phone, works for me and the camera isn't something I generally look to have the best of on a smart phone.

This phone does it all. It's significantly lighter and thinner than the note 9 also. Shout out to Samsung for the pre-installed screen protector. The screen protector is high quality and leaves no finger prints. They really didn't cut any corners with this device. Anyone on the fence, i would highly recommend pulling the trigger.

(Started with the s4) At home in use we have the S7, s8+ and I had the s9+. I feel the night camera was better in the s9+ than in this one. I really miss the LED light notification. As much that makes me think if I should return it!. Have to turn the screen on to see if there are notification is why I only had an iPhone for less than 8 months. Will be the night camera and the LED light fixed with a new update?. Or should I return the phone?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than the S9+ but specs were misleading Came from a S9+ (and before it the Note 9). Was delivered yesterday and put through its paces. So far, it is a very speedy performer. Bought this for the updated battery life and wide angle lens. Pictures with the wide angle are much better than my LG V30. The inscreen fingerprint reader isn't as quick as the S9+, but after the update (which was same day) works much better. The only complaint - and I'm not sure that it was ever fully explained in any of the Samsung specific websites - is that I upgraded my S10+ with the ceramic back and 512GB of memory. According to EVERYTHING I found online, with those specs I was expecting 12GB of memory. Nope, it only has 8GB. Still a lot for what my uses are, but it was certainly a mistake on reviewers part and never corrected by Samsung. Doubt I would have spent the extra money for the 512GB without it.

Photos of my dog often come out blurry and distorted in lower lighting indoors.Other than that this phone is everything I wanted. Daytime photos are excellent and the build quality is unmatched. I usually go for the Note series but not this time. Well done Samsung just do some software upgrades to the camera and this phone will be perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge leap frm a Note4 I started a review on this phone before I got it, intending to come back and edit it, but it wouldn't let me back in to edit. So this is in addition to. I am pretty impressed with the phone so far. Many options, such as night time mode, having dark with white text, a keyboard (yellow, if you want) that jumps out at you, all helpful when ordinarily I would need peepers to see this close. I haven't really compared the cameras side-by-side, but it is painfully obvious to me that this camera is much superior to the note 4. I still don't think it is quite as good as the pixel 3, but you can't have everything. Another reviewer mentioned he was disappointed that the phone did not come with a dual SIM. I was too, but realised it didn't. He should have researched a little further, Samsung only offers dual SIM in Asia or Europe for some strange convoluted reason. I was disappointed too, but I knew I wasn't getting it. One of my biggest worries about the phone is that I will crack the screen with these annoying rolled edges. I'm not a big fan of those, I am scared to death of dropping it. Couple other thing is that that pleased me, and maybe they were available already and I didn't know it - but the fact that I was able to blend my AOL account into the Gmail is huge for me. I hate the AOL/Oath with the passions of a thousand suns, and now I don't even have to deal with them, those emails are forwarded into GMail. Hopefully I can dump my Verizon email account soon. I am quite pleased with the unlocked version. Way way less bloat Ware. I don't understand why the FB app is being forced on us, because that app is stuck in here and can't be deleted. Or at least I haven't figured out how to yet. I can't imagine the screen being any more clean, crisp, or detailed. And It is Brighter, making it easier to see in bright sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So disappointing. I an incredibly disappointed with this phone. I switched from an old LG V20, and i regret every moment of it. Phone is fickle. sometimes fingerprint reader works, sometimes it does not. Sometimes face recognition works, a few minutes later it does not. for some reason, podcasts constantly pause themselves. Screen is not as big as you would think, and is significanly smaller than "full screen" when in most full screen apps. You loose the entire top space (where the notch is) when in full screen mode. Wish i didn't waste my money on this phone.

He went out fishing last night and we had a pop up storm, so in a rush he did not make sure his phone clipped on his carrier correctly. The phone fell in the water and stayed there until we found it the next morning. No damage done. Works great just as if nothing happened. I would recommend this phone to anyone and everyone!

They linked notifications to the badge icons so when you dismiss the notification the badge on the app goes away too (this is with EVERY app). You either have to have a home screen full of notifications that every one can see or you have no badge on your app to remind you that you have unread emails, snapchats, tweets, facebook notifications, etc. This makes all android phones useless. If you use your phone to keep up with your social media I highly recommend NOT getting an android!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is mine a defect? I have purchased and used all samsung phone including s7 edge, s8+, s9+, note 9, and lastly s10+. I was quite happy to buy s8+ and s9+. Note 9 was alright because it did not feel any different from s9+. However my s10+ felt like a total garbage to note 9, idk why but it keeps having a problem (broken music, like it couldnt hold the connection) streaming to my sony 1000xm3, which seems to be validated by the galaxy buds that came with it that also have similar broken connection problem even after using the latest of updates. Using the same settings, my note 9 or s9+ never had any kind of problem streaming ldac optimized audio quality to my headphones. S10+ on screen fingerprint scanner is also too problematic because it failed too often. I tried to minimize this by using smart unlock, with connected devices, or location, but it ended up pocket calling random people, posting on social media, etc because it recognize the swipes and gestures while being in my pocket. Samsung failed me hard on this one.

My S8+ always had 2 to 4 bars, never missed a call or text. The S10+ barely has 1 bar indoors, no bars most of the time. Missing calls and text all the time. Anytime I'm out and away from home and forget to charge my watch, I just lay it on my phone for a little bit to get me through the rest of the day. The camera is also amazing.

I don't care what anyone else says, but in my opinion, the S10+ Pro-Grade Camera is way better than the Pixel 3 camera. Also loving my free Galaxy Buds, sounds tons better than Airpods and better comfort too! Thanks Samsung, for making a strong and solid smartphone and headphone.

The phone looks food with excellent features..but I am not a great fan of ultrasonic fingerprint reader...but very slower than the regular fingerprint reader in S9 plus and iris scanner is removed ...I feel like security is comprised by removing that to some extent...Anyway Samsung has to do something with UFR..,,possibly a software update..let me reiterate that the ultrasonic fingerprint reader is very slower than I expected. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Everything I wanted and more! Unsure what these people are saying about the fingerprint scanner, wondering if they are using a screen protector. I mean, I recommend scanning at least 2 fingers 2-3 times each at every imaginable angle, but I do that with every fingerprint scanner on a phone. Anyway, the screen is so crisp and clear, Bixby Routines is actually pretty sweet, and I like that they moved the Bixby button a little further away from the volume button, i use to press it on accident way too often on my 8 and my 9, and you can set the bixby button up for another app, either with a single or a double press, SWEET! I nerd out on the settings everytime I get a new phone, watch multiple youtube videos, and try to figure out everything that I can do, you can do a lot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I ended up trading it in on another brand and losing a lot of money so I could have a phone that works. So disappointed.

Not to mention the battery with a prostrate problem. I use these phones for pictures to such an extent That is my primary reason for this particular phone. I will be back in a couple weeks to add to this, It just looked like I had a chance to be the first reviewer, so I jumped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st Phone by Samsung I truly HATE- Buyer Beware! Buyer Beware! I have been a Samsung phone user for about 10 years and had had most of the models. For the first time, I bought the S10+ as a pre-order due to having some simcard issues with my Note 8. First, the fingerprint scanner on the S10+ is complete junk - regardless of how many times you setup your finger print, it only works at a certain angle and orientation - no way it works like advertised in the rain or working out - does not actually recognize your fingerprint. Just looks for a matching picture. To prove this, I took a picture of my right thumb, printed in actual size and used my left thumb (not programmed) to press on the sensor. After several tries to get it oriented in the same angle and direction that I had programmed my right thumb, it unlocked the screen. Shall we call that security? Second, the sensor only works about 30% of the time without pressing the lock/unlock button first. To say that this is convenient is a lie. The Note 8, with its ACTUAL fingerprint scanner on the back, would actually scan my finger print and unlock without touching a button - the S10+ does not work this way. What it DOES do is sense movement in your pocket (like while you are walking) and turn on the screen when your phone is in your pocket and start tying to make an emergency call. So annoying, I can hear the phone keys dialing tone while I am walking and have to take it out of my pocket and re-lock manually. Third - what the heck happened to the bluetooth? I nearly threw my headphones across the yard, then realized that it has the same issue with all three pairs (Beats, Buds and JBL) - if the phone is in your pocket, it is too far away to listen to music on your own bluetooth headphones. Can't even mow the lawn with music anymore wirelessly - had to go back to wired headphones to keep my music from cutting out every few seconds. Camera is nice, but just about everything else on this phone is horrible. So glad I still have my Note 8. What a great phone by comparison - new Simcard solved my original problem. Of course, even though I have had the S10+ for only 2 weeks, it is not returnable and the issues with the phone are design issues, not something that can be repaired. Thanks Samsung! Battery life is great. I don't have to charge it every few hrs. It last close to 2 days without charging. Samsung has always made THE BEST in my opinion.

Unlocking the new fingerprint sensor works maybe 5/10 times. Unacceptable. Honestly considering returning this because of this feature alone. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I bought this a month ago. The phone is fast operation is like my S9+ I gave top my wife. The camera does more than I will ever be able to use, it has a function for anyone from novice to professional. The pictures in low light turn out better than they did on my S9. I have a cover that protects both the front and back. The touch sensitivity is fantastic even with the heavy screen protector I am using. I don't use fingerprint dont like finger print and could care less if it works or not so I can't comment on that. I do miss the little blue light for notifications but I have gotten use to it being eliminated. And for the camera slot in the corner it doesn't bother me in the least. Bigsby works good and is much smarter than Siri and almost equal to Alexa and Google assistant. Bigsby vision works great and the translator also works great. As for AR Emoji it is now officially a joke. It was Good on the S9, it looked like the person who's picture was taken, well not any more. I don't even understand why you are required to take your picture because the emoji does not come anywhere close. And the choices for facial features are far too limiting to even make the already bad emoji resemble your face or hair. I have gray hair and they don't have that anymore. I have only a mustache and they don't even have a standard mustache anymore. And as for the eyes they all look far to simular so you can't even get close on the eyes. I think it's time for Samsung to give up trying to best apple on this one because they are going backwards. I will just continue to use my emoji from my S9. This isn't enough to take a star away because it's just a gimmick, but it is totally a failed attempt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fried my Phone. I had this phone for almost a month now, I dropped it a few times no scratch or cracked screen like my S9+ just a bump and it break. Anyways today at work I forgot to take the phone off my hip. When it rang I picked it up to turn it off since i am in the middle of frying food.While trying to clip it back on it slipped out of my hand into the Fryer that is currently at 325 F, all I could do was rip the basket off and toss it and wait for the oil to drop all the way down just for me to find my phone stuck between the coils and the wall of the fryer. All i could say was omg. My coworker and I got it out just find it fully functional, all I have done is turned it off as quickly as possible wipe it off as good as I can and stood it upright, hoping everthing drains out of the ports. 2h later we turned it on, and it worked just find besides of the sound, it has a snow like after sound. I got to say the S10+ is klutz prove for now, because I am the biggest klutz there is lol. Thanks Samsung for this Phone! I hope it keeps on working too lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Device You Can Buy So Far!!! The Galaxy S10+ is by far the best device you can buy at the moment. It has 3 pro grade cameras on the back and 2 on the front, both capable of UHD Video! The shots you can take on both are stunning and rich with detail. HDR 10+ really helps bring out the backgrounds! Samsung’s New One UI is fluid and gorgeously simple. They took what made their previous skin great and added to it while slimming it down. The new phones also have reverse wireless charging, where when turned on, can charge any Qi enabled device such as a Galaxy Watch or Buds! Lastly, the screen is absolutely stunning. This is by far the best display you can get right now in typical Samsung fashion! Colors are bright, saturated and poppy and the QHD display is crisp and easy to read in direct sunlight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful phone major connectivity issues Phone connectivity issues that show 4G LTE and 4 or 5 bars of signal strength put the phone would not connect. We went through all the settings one by one do a soft reset, deleted some software and even replaced the sim card to see if that was the issue. No results, we then decided the final attempt was to do a master reset to the phone. That made the phone act up even more and it would not even connect to the Wi-Fi. Searching the internet reveals that many Sprint people having major issues exactly like what I described, and they seem to be receiving an update by the end of April 2019. It was not clear if Sprint or Samsung would provide that update. Of course, Samsung Technical support did not know anything about any issues like this when I asked them. I brought this Galaxy S10 Plus 1TB Unlocked directly from Samsung to get a good phone. The price I paid for this phone is enough to buy a used car and had to send it in to get repaired by their experts the phone malfunctioned before 2 months unbelievable. Now days everything ask for a secondary verification method and I have no freaking phone. I deeply regret this purchase and I am still without phone. This is just insane. All the cool features of the phone mean nothing if the phone does not connect to anything, you cannot text or make any phone calls. Don't waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, just dont use the Fingerprint scanner I really like all the features of the phone, but sadly it's going back because of one glaring defect...the Fingerprint Scanner SUCKS!!!!!!. I had ocassional problems with the scanner on my S9+ but it was very seldom. This scanner is just the opposite it seldom works. I have done the update that was put out because Samsung knows the scanner is junk and the update didn't help. I have deleted my fingerprints and reinstalled them numerous times to no avail. I have tried both hand lotion and licking my finger first as recommended on xda forums, again no luck. I get the scanner to work 1 out of 20 tries. You get locked out of your online bank accounts after so many false tries. I even took off the screensaver that Samsung shipped the phone with and still didn't help. So back it goes along with the earbuds, just hope I can get back my pristine S9+ that I traded in. Samsung has no business putting out a phone that's not ready for prime time. And before anyone comments that I don't know how to put my thumb or index finger properly on the display, I have tried light pressure, hard pressure and everything in between and still no luck. Anyone considering this phone should do an internet search about this problem first. For those that are having absolutely no problems with their phone congratulations I'm happy for you, but mine SUCKS!!.

The fingerprint reader is awesome, the cameras are great. My favorite is the ultra wide camera. You can capture so much detail with it. Also the front facing camera quality has greatly improved. I also love the screen on this device, so vivid and crisp. Coming from an Note8 i wasn't expecting this phone to be so nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible No missed call or text/email notification New phone, 2 days, if I miss a text or miss call (if I don't see it the few seconds that it appears on screen), there is no notification. Not a blinking light or sound or anything. You have to go into the phone to see it. And if you miss a call, it also does not notify you and it doesn't even show as a number on the icon. You have to open the phone and look at recent calls. I will be returning the phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very solid phone, but my issues are not fun I bought this a month ago, noticed the phone only fast charges on one side of the usb c cable. Noticed sometimes the volume buttons will not work or will constantly go down as if being pressed down, no biggie I could live with it. A month later today it stopped fast charging, and sometimes will not charge at all. The cable is not damaged, tried my friends regular s10 cable and plug, still no charge. Tried my lg g6 cable and plug, still nothing. Took it too UbreakiFix, they could not charge the phone at times, and said their samsung Machine they use to run IQC does not even read the device. After all of their tests, they said my motherboard needs to be replaced. I babied my device in case and screen protector. Just a shame I have to get these issues in not even 6 months of owning the device. Just sent it in to Samsung for repair.

Why I think it is the best smartphone overall is because it has everything you'd want in a smartphone. It's good for heavy or just casual gaming, it has an amazing camera, the battery life is solid ( lasting around 8 hours depending on your usage. The amoled display is beautiful especially for watching YouTube videos or even gaming. Great phone Samsung. Cheers. My only criticism of this phone is the price. This is not a CHEAP PHONE. Starting at a thousand bucks, if you plan on getting one, get ready to pay the big bucks.

But honestly it is so much better than the Note 9 in so many ways I can't explain since I'm not very tech savy. Don't get me wrong, the Note 9 is great, but this phone is a beast. Battery last me all day and I am on my phone a lot. So far I haven't had any issues. It takes great photos and videos under the water. Only down side is the selfie camera is so good you can see into every single pore in your face haha

I was trying to get rid of the disastrous Samsung Galaxy 9+ I purchased few months earlier hoping for an improved phone; and boy o boy, this phone is surely worst than its predecesor. The Screen is less than responsive, and the processor get stuck with the simpelst of tasks, for example I tab "clearing notification" and the phone freeze with a horizontal white line at the top. This phone is created for ONE PURPOSE ONLY, and that purpose is to NOT to communicate but rather to spy on you, collect your information, and feed it to Samsung and Google. Should also mention that Samsung lied to me about the One year subscription to YouTube.

I had to go back to my old Galaxy just so I could make and recieve calls. So disappointed in the this. It just sit on the dresser cause I can't return and hopes that they get an update that fixs it.
