Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn't Pay for This Device Got it through a Verizon Promotion. No wonder they're giving them out, probably couldn't deliberately sell them. One I received won't recognize SD Cards, but it's all my fault according to support. No touch screen which Chrome OS/Android relies on heavily. 32GB storage space is half full on arrival. And 90% of the Apps I've tried on mine won't load, again my fault according to support. I don't know that I would trust the "military grade" abilities of this thing. Bluetooth range is pretty short, but once it's working it seems to work okay. Pro's so far, decent battery life. Keyboard seems solid, touch pad works well. Lenovo Duet 5 I got for about the same value they rate this device at is a much better device. Didn't bother connecting to the 4G LTE due to Verizon giving me the run around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trust me, you don't want this. Keep looking. Absolutely do not purchase this product. If you are in need of a laptop for school, this is not what you want. If you want a laptop for gaming, forget it. If you want Microsoft Word, look elsewhere. If you want to run any piece of software made in the last 20 years, you won't find it here. It's running an Intel Celeron, which is perfectly fine if you just want to stare at the desktop page without running any applications. Anything beyond that, and you're going to experience issues. Good thing they force you to use their proprietary search engine though, because we all know that Google Chrome is totally efficient at what it does. For a device that is built around running things via-web apps, you'd think they'd at least have a decent enough browser to do so. To call this a glorified entry-level smartphone with a cheap keyboard attached to it would be too high of a praise. Anything this device can do, your phone can and will do better. For this price you can find a decent laptop running a real operating system. Within 3 months the battery completely gave out, and the device needs to stay plugged in at all times or it instantly powers off. Turning it back on is a major hassle as well. You can't just plug it back in and click the power button. No, that would be too easy. That would make sense. You'll have to pull the plug out, put it back in, pull it out, plug it back in, over and over and over again until the light stops flashing in specific patterns. You can prevent damage to your cord by clicking the power button and the refresh button at the same time to kill the power cycle. I wouldn't use this device again if Samsung paid me for it. They could release a new version every year for all I care, and I wouldn't accept a sponsorship for this device if I was in crippling debt. This device gives me nightmares. The battery, or lack thereof. The LCD, where your darkest black is just a light grey. The single USB port. The lack of any sort of cooling. The incredibly poorly placed speakers. The SD card slot that is impossible to use without some makeshift tool. The lack of support for even chromebook software. The CPU that could be outperformed by a dollar calculator. The 4gb of ram, just enough to open half a chrome webpage. The whopping 32gb of storage for all 3 photos you'd like to store. The webcam that will make you look like a skinwalker from a 90's found footage film. Nightmares and agony.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Chromebook, but horrible screen. I got this Chromebook from Verizon for free when I signed up. The it works well as a web browsing machine and such, but the screen is the worst. Viewing angles are absolutely horrible and even when you look directly straight at the screen you can see that colors are horribly washed out. The screen is so bad that I would rather not use the computer and stick with my iPad. I would not reccommend this device to anyone, especially for the asking price of $350.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Abismal screen The terrible screen makes this otherwise fine laptop almost unusable in my opinion. The super narrow viewing angles, washed up color and low resolution makes the screen a massive eye sore. Even a dirty cheap phone is better than this. I think there are much better options at this price point.
