Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad sticky label tape removal experience product or qa engineer who choose this black sticky label material next to mouse pad should be fired it was very un-pleasant to remove this tape it took me 1hr to remove this tape, peace by peace. i had to apply wd-40 and soak for 10 min, peel by hand and clean with cloth. samsung need to do better job any person who tried to remove this tape would understand it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not working out for me I bought my Chromebook 2 on February 22nd and didn't receive it till March 4th. (i am inserting the dates as the return policy for the device is within 15 days of purchasing) I am experiencing a few issues with my new Chromebook 2. The first issue i am having involves writing on the screen. when i use a stylist to write, the pressure sensitivity of my hand on the screen will misdirect the pen and mark all over the pages i am trying to take notes on. I do think this has to do with the fact that the screen isn't completely flat. Around the edges of the screen, it appears to have ripples. i am also experiencing a very loud, high pitched noise coming from the computer anytime i am listening to lectures or any other videos online. Once i close out the tab that the video is being played from, the sound stops. I reached out to tech support and was redirected to 4 different agents before getting absolutely no response at all. All other features work great if a Chromebook is something you love. I am just not loving this device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent machine This is my third Chromebook (the last was a Samsung Chromebook Plus). This blows away all the others I had examined. It is fast, the sound is great (for a laptop) and the keyboard is back lit however.....the screen is....WOW. I prefer watching any video on this screen to that on my TV. (You must see it to believe the quality, the color, the detail.) Of all of the many computers I have had through the years, this is (by far) the finest machine I have used. I have yet to find something it cannot do well. This is equivalent to a Mac book for Android users. Excellent machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fast and convenient I find the chromebook to be useful and replaces my computer most of the time. It does many applications but will not deal with the camera ones. This is strange because my samsung s20 phone will download my pictures wirelessly but the chromebook won't. Othewise it seems to be good for trips and adaptable.

The color definatly draws attention people ask what laptop it is. I would definatly recommend if you needed one for school.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive - Display, Touchpad, Heat 1) display - it has an unusual red tint that can revert to normal if you scroll up slightly. because of samsung's posting guidelines - i cannot say more of actions taken. ok - so i will live with this. 2) battery usage - this unit will last about 3-4 hours before i need to plug in. i read about this in the reviews. 3) heat - when plugged in, the bottom of the unit gets really hot. so ok - i will live with this. 4) touchpad - sometimes it works - most times the touchpad is either just frozen or erratic on the screen. no matter whether i shut down and reboot or whether i do a powerwash. i have to use the touchscreen but even if i do this - the cursor sporadically is jumping around opening and closing screens. this - i cannot live with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLEASE do not buy unless doing a trade in I don't know if those 5 star reviews are by bots because this is the unhappiest I've been with a purchase. The trade in price is okay. The aesethic is cool but, that's what your paying for. I've never written a review but, wanted to as a hope of getting people to not waste their money. If my apps aren't crashing, they are freezing. The navigation is so frustrating to work with. It feels impossible to get to the home screen once you open an app. When trying to view all open apps, the current one that's open never snaps into the docket. My internet always has a strong signal but its a gamble if chrome will load. This would be okay if the base price was 150-200 but, 600 is a complete slap in the face to customers. Please go get a different tablet. There are so many cheaper options that run better.

Something sleek and dependable. Battery lasts for days. Highly satisfied with my purchase. Only thing that would make it better would be an S-PEN. Hoping the new Samsung pen is compatible.

My grandma mainly uses it as a Super Large tablet, and switches it to laptop mode whenever she gets on Facebook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Galaxy Chromebook i5 major disappointment Purchased the Galaxy 13.3" 4K Ultra HD Touch-Screen Chromebook - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory on 2/14/2021. The unit does not power on. I checked the charger and it works fine. This is a premium unit and should be more dependable, especially since the unit was used in a limited manner. Since the unit is a little over a year old the warranty is useless, as is the chomebook. You would believe for the premium price of the unit it would be much more dependable. If the unit failed, doesn't matter the bells and whistles on it, it is still junk.

This is my 2nd one! i purchased one for my wife a few months back. i got her the intel celeron version and it is as smooth as butter. i just received mine the other day after selling my previous years chromebook on ebay. after 2 days i can say that my wife is 100% correct. the qled screen is amazing with close to 400 nits of brightness. very satisfying to watch videos with. the sound quality is top notch, the keyboard is very nice. the build quality and feel of this chromebook makes it seem like it could be priced at double what i paid for it. the battery life is wonderful. highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well rounded laptop, especially for work cases I've never been a big fan of Chromebooks. I picked one of these up in July, and it has made my workflow a lot easier. From its strong frame, to the speed of the Chromebook operating system, this is able to run daily tasks like a beast. Web browsing is the best on this, and it shows. I really appreciate the 360 degree display, so it I want to watch a YouTube video, I can turn it around, and set it on my desk and watch to my heart's content. The speaker are beautiful, like a well made concert band in a metal chassis. The battery can also get me easily through half of the day, and right through my work schedule. This thing is beast.

I use both android and IOS/Apple products, I ended up selling my most recent purchase which was a Apple MacBook Air 2020. Never expected my Galaxy computer easier, faster and more convenient to use than Apple but it definitely is and I recommend you try it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks can be deceiving the first day i got the chromebook i thought it couldnt get no better. i hadnt no more than turned it on the first 2 days. the third day i got on it to actually use it and the touch screen isnt working .i watched/read and tried everything to fix it. didnt work. i lost interest. so i put it up in a safe spot and left it maybe 2 months. meaning that when i got it back out it was still basically brand new . it wouldnt even charge .whats sad is i was high in samsung. all my family and i smart gadgets is samsung brand

As a busy gynecologist, I can access my patient charts seamlessly and faster than my desk top. I take it with me everywhere so if delayed anywhere for any reason, I can connect with my hotspot and VPN for security and with ease. I have accidentally dropped it a number of times and it keeps on ticking with only a couple of dings. Now my padded holder helps my baby keeping it safe for someone always on the move.

I havent had any issues with my chromebook 2, I Purchased from Samsung and my only complaint is that I cant get any of my s pens to work with the touch screen. I find the touch screen to be responsive, battery life is good for all day use. I use the chromebook for small tasks on a daily basis.
